Ayame: This was completed at the Kanzaki Heavy Industries. The foundation of the Capital Defense, the Spirit Armor, Koubu.
[the computer screen shows the koubu in complete action. The screen then shows eight people at the meeting.]
Finacer A: If we're to fail again, we might as well start over from the basics.
Finacer B: We have all invested too much money in Kanzaki.
[the screen then cuts to a man dress in a grey business suit. His name is Count Hanakoji. The camera went up to his face as he speaks.]
Count Hanakoji: This is not the place to discuss our interests. The capital continues to develop. Likewise, the power of the evil darkness.
[the camera the cuts to another higher-up and Ayame.]
Finacer C: Count, I think we understand that.
Ayame: [speaks as she looks at the higher-up] Thinking that isn't enough. The darkness is already in motion.
Finacer D: Even if the vessel is perfect, the problem is its contents.
Ayame: So far, none have vetoed or abandoned the plan. [then walks over to the front of the screen.]
Finacer E: Then, would it be correct to assume that things are progressing according to the Capital Defense Plan?
Ayame: [she is now in front of the screen, and speaks] Yes! And the ones who will operate this Koubu, and carry out the core duties of Capital Defense... The Imperial Flower Combat Troop, Flower Division!

Lady Ludens: This is Lady Ludens. Colonel, can you hear me?
[The Colonel appear to be in his 50s. He even wears a war cap, the uniform, and boots. His name is Colonel "Roy" Campbell.]
Colonel Campbell: Loud and Clear. What's the situation, Lady Ludens?
Lady Ludens: Looks like this is Japan, where the Grand Imperial Theater might be.
Colonel Campbell: Just as I expected. You'll have to go there on foot. But make sure nobody sees you. If you need to, contact me by Codec. The frequency is 140.85.
Lady Ludens: Got it. Okay. I'm ready to go.
[they signed off from the Codec. Lady Ludens got up, and begin to make her way out of the train station, even politely saying "Excuse me." She saw someone talking to the stationmaster, and hides behind the pillar. She looks ahead, and listens to their coversation.]
[a girl was talking to the stationmaster. She had short brown hair, a blue dress, and Slippers. Her name is Tsubaki.]
Tsubaki: Excuse me, I'm looking for this person.
Stationmaster: Well, there are a lot of people around here.
Tsubaki: So you haven't seen her?
Stationmaster: No, I don't think I have seen her.
Tsubaki: Is that so? [bows before the stationmaster.] Thank you very much.
[the stationmaster left. Tsubaki went back up, and sighs a sigh.]
Tsubaki: [looks at the picture of a girl.] Now what?
[Lady Ludens knew she wasn't suppose to be spotted. But she also knew Tsubaki might need some help finding someone. After making her decision, she went to Tsubaki. Tsubaki looks up, and gasped.]
Tsubaki: W-Who are you?
Lady Ludens: Don't be afraid, I'm not an enemy. I'm here to help you find someone.
Tsubaki: You sure? You're not with one of the wakiji?
Lady Ludens: [shakes her head] No, but I also don't know what a wakiji is.
Tsubaki: Wakijis are machines that always lurked around, trying to destory this town. Anyway, I'm looking for this girl.
[She shows Lady Ludens the picture. It shows a girl with long black hair, tied in a high ponytail with a red ribbon and light brown eyes. She also wears a pink kimono over a white gii with a purple sash wrapped around her waist, red hakama pants, white socks, black shoes, and brown fingerless gloves.]
Lady Ludens: [looks at the picture. She then looks at Tsubaki] Who is this girl?
Tsubaki: Here name is Sakura Shinguji. I'm looking for her. Will it be alright if you can help look for her?
Lady Ludens: [she thinks for a bit. Then nodded her head.] Sure. I'll help you.
Tsubaki: Thank you! Now let's find her.
[they search through the train station, and talk to every people. The same answer is always the same; they never seen a girl in ths picture. Soon, Tsubaki and Lady Ludens went outside the train station. Tsubaki looks at the picture of Sakura again, worried.]
Tsubaki: That's strange. I wonder where she could have gone.
Lady Ludens: Don't worry. I'll go find her. If I found her, I'll let you know.
Tsubaki: Okay. Thanks.
Lady Ludens: You're welcome.
[Lady Ludens begin her search all over the Imperial Capital. As she does, she was amazed by the sight; not just the people, but also the town, and the veichles. She was amazed. Soon, she found the same girl excatly on the paper. She is being questioned by the police.]
Sakura Shinguji: [to the policeman] From Sendai.
The Policeman: And what are you doing here?
Lady Ludens: [came to Sakura Shinguji and the policeman] What's wrong?
Sakura Shinguji: [looks at Lady Ludens in surprised.] Who are you?
Lady Ludens: Me? Well...
Torabo: [rushes up to Sakura Shinguji and Lady Ludens]: Ah! There you are! There you are! Hey, Sis! I found you! I've been looking all over for you. [grabs Sakura, and pulls her by her hand.]
Sakura Shinguji: But...
Lady Ludens: [chases after Sakura and Torabo. She looks at the policeman] Sorry about that!
Torabo: Come on, let's go.
The Policeman: Hey kid, do you know her?
Torabo: Sure do!
[The Policeman looks on in confused.]
[Torabo then pushes Sakura around the corner of the building.]
Sakura Shinguji: Wait! Who are you?
Lady Ludens: Wait for me! [catches up to them]
Torabo: [to Lady Ludens] Thank you so much for buying time for me. [to Sakura] C'mon, they're cracking down on runaways in the capital right now.
Sakura Shinguji: I am not a runaway!
Torabo: But I rescued you from being arrested by the policeman, right?! So...
Sakura Shinguji: Yes?
Lady Ludens: Um...
Torabo: Well, yeah, so how about some thanks?
Sakura Shinguji: I haven't thanked you yet, have I?
Torabo: [Held out his hand, as in for money.] Well...
Sakura Shinguji: [shakes Torabo's hand.] Well, thank you very much.
Torabo: [let's go of Sakura's hand]: Not like that! Don't you get it?!
Sakura Shinguji: [Looks at Torabo in confused.] What?
Torabo: [blushes as he talks to himself] Man, country bumpkins are so... [to Sakura] Why did you come here? If you're looking for work, you're going to have a hard time.
Sakura Shinguji: No! I came here to defend the capital!
Torabo: Defend the captail?
Lady Ludens: [in realization] Then that means?
Torabo: Because spring is here, I guess, right?
Sakura Shinguji: Yes!
Lady Ludens: [to Torabo] Excuse me, Torabo. I gotta take Sakura to the Imperial Theater, okay?
Torabo: Huh? [thinks for a moment] Okay. [shakes Lady Ludens' hand, and left.]
[soon Lady Ludens guide Sakura to the Imperial Theater.]
Sakura Shinguji: [looks at the billboard that shows two characters and the word "Romeo and Juliet."] What's this? [she looks at the letter, which is from Yoneda. She looks up at the billboard again.] What?
Lady Ludens: If it's alright, Sakura, I'd like to stay out here and guard the entrance.
[Sakura Shinguji nodded, and went into the theater. Lady Ludens then kneels down, and gives Colonel the call.]
Lady Ludens: It's Lady Ludens. I'm at the Grand Imperial Theater.
Colonel Campbell: Excellent, Lady Ludens. Age hasn't slowed you down one bit.
[the code screen then switch over to Naomi Hunter]
Naomi Hunter: How's everything going in Japan?
Lady Ludens: Safe for now. And thanks for giving me the shot.
Naomi: You're welcome. It's designed to prevent the spreading. This is Japan, you know.
Lady Ludens: Take it easy, I'm greatful. If it weren't for your shot, I would've got sick.
Naomi Hunter: A flu shot, Lady Ludens. All of the Genome Solders in Japan are using it.
Lady Ludens: I see. I'm relieved to hear that. Already tested, huh? [to Colonel Campbell] By the way, can you tell me about Sakura Shinguji?
Colonel Campbell: Oh. She is the daughter of her late father, the one you two fight together in the Korma War?
Lady Ludens: So, she's the key to save us all.
Colonel Campbell: Yes, so make sure to protect her at all cost.
Female's voice: Yes, she is our last key to protect us.
Lady Ludens: Who's that?
Colonel Campbell: Oh sorry, I haven't introduced you two yet. This is Mei Ling. She was assigned to us as our visual and data processing specialist.
[the Codec then switched over to a girl named Mei Ling.]
Mei Ling: Nice to meet you, Lady Ludens. It's an honor to speak to a living legend like yourself.
[they were silent for three seconds.]
Mei Ling: What's wrong?
Lady Ludens: Nothing. I just didn't expect a world-class designer of military technology to be so cute.
Mei Ling: [smiles and giggles.] You're just flattering me...
Lady Ludens: No, I'm serious. Well, I know I won't be bored for long.
Mei Ling: C'mon... I can't believe I'm being hit on by the famous Lady Ludens, the new mascot of Kojima Productions, founded by our creator... But I'm surprised... You're very frank for a trained soldier.
Lady Ludens: Looks like we both have a lot to learn about each other, don't we?
Mei Ling: Yeah. I'm looking forward to learning about the woman behind the legend.
Colonel Campbell: We'll be monitoring your movments by radar, so contact us by Codec anytime you want.
Lady Ludens: Okay. I'll make sure if I'm feeling lonely.
Naomi Hunter: Seriously, Lady Ludens. We're here to back you up, so call if you need some information or advice.
Colonel Campbell: Remember, except for your binoculars, you're naked. You need to arm yourself with whatever weapons you can find.
Lady Ludens: [gives a deadpan comment] I remember. First I'm strip searched by Doctor Naomi here, and then all my weapons are taken away. Imagine yourself put in that position.
Naomi Hunter: Well, if you make it back in one piece, maybe I'll let you do a strip search on me.
Lady Ludens: [feels better] I'll think about it. [smiles] By the way, sorry to disappoint you, but I did manage to smuggle out my sweets.
Naomi Hunter: [surprised] How did you do that?
Lady Ludens: [smiles] In my stomach. Thanks to the shot you gave that surpressed my stomach acids.
Mei Ling: [looks at Lady Ludens and smiles] Candies? How are those going to help you?
Lady Ludens: [smiles as she looks at her bag of candies] You never know.
Colonel Campbell: I'm counting on you, Lady Ludens.
[they both signed off. Lady Ludens then enters into the Imperial Theater to begin her mission.]
