Part 2 of Chapter 2 folks! Rereading the pre author's note I realized I had said that it would feature the first Henshin of the series. I PROFUSELY APOLOGIZE FOR THAT! I will do my best to make sure stuff like that doesn't happen again! Anyway, I have also changed Gary's Starter Pokemon here to where he gets 2 since Ash and Serena already have one from Kalos and they are getting Kanto Starters right now, you'll be finding out who asked that in this part of the chapter. Anyway, I say it's time to upgrade! (Inserts Brave Dragon on the left slot and puts Storm Eagle in the middle slot) REKKA BATOU! (UNSHEATHE THE FLAME!) HENSHIN! REKKA: TWO VOLUMES! ON SAVAGE WINGS IN THE SKY, THE DRAGON CLAD IN HELLFIRE WILL BURN ALL TO ASHES!

POKERIDERS OOO AND BUILD: CHAPTER 2: PART 2: A MIRACLE OCCURS

As Jack led everyone in, they were greeted by the Oak Professor himself. "Welcome one and all to my lab. I'm sure the Kanto Elite don't need my introduction or honestly anyone here needs it, but I am Professor Oak. The foremost authority when it comes to Pokemon. You are here today to – "Oak began when he was rudely cut off by his own son. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. We know the drill, Dad. Let's just let Gary get his Pokemon and then you can do that stupid speech all d- HYARK!" John began when Blue suddenly stuffed a towel down his mouth to shut him up. He tried to pull it out but when he did, he saw a blue cloth attached and then a red cloth attached to that. And it just kept coming out (Basically you know that magician trick where they keep pulling a cloth out of their sleeves? Think that trick but in the mouth and it's not letting the guy speak while doing so).

While John was desperately trying to get the cloth to stop coming out of his mouth so he could talk again, Professor Oak resumed his speech. "Thank you, Blue. Anyways, before I was so rudely interrupted, you three show the best qualities that Pallet Town trainers strive to be. You understand your Pokemon to where it's like you speak their language. You act as one with your Pokemon. And most importantly you strive to make a bond with your Pokemon rather than just using them as either a means to an end or just some object to fight with. As such, by a suggestion and request of 2 people here, Gary you will be receiving 2 starter Pokemon while Ash and Serena get a Kanto one but not the usual ones." Oak finished which made John almost gag when he heard that.

"But Grandpa, I don't want any special treatment just because I am your grandson! That would be unfair and unbecoming of any Trainer at all!" Gary protested thinking his father had done something to make this happen. "Gary, do you want to know the 2 people who made this happen?" Oak asked which Gary nodded his head yes. "Please welcome from the Kalos Region, Professor Sycamore!" Oak announced near a TV screen showing the Famed Professor of the Kalos region.

"Good day everyone!" The good professor greeted while everyone else (minus John obviously) made a sound that showed they were listening. "I'm sure you're wondering why I am here. Well one of the 2 Pokemon Gary shall receive is a Kalos Starter Pokemon. The third of the trio that most Trainers who start in Kalos receive as an option when they begin their journeys." The Professor explained as Oak handed Ash a deep blue ball to hold Froakie in, if need be, Serena a fiery red colored ball for Fennekin and gave Gary a grass green Pokéball. "But not just that it's going to be a very special version of this Pokemon." The Professor added while making a motion to Gary to throw the ball.

When Gary did, he was shocked by what came out. A brown almost squirrel like Pokemon (I honestly don't know the closest kind of animal this Pokemon is related to call it) came out and looked at Gary before gaining a confident look and making a motion that made Gary impressed. "What Pokemon is this, Sycamore?" Gary asked politely as he let the small Pokemon run up his arm to his shoulder. "That is a Chespin, Gary. The Grass Type Starter for Kalos Trainers, but that's not the only thing special about him. Look at his chest." Sycamore instructed and when Gary did, he was shocked.

Just like Ash and Serena's Pokemon, Chespin had a coin like symbol on his chest that had an image of his form. "Was this Chespin among the same batch of eggs that Froakie and Fennekin were apart of?" Gary asked as it couldn't just be a coincidence at this point that the three starters had this. "That is correct Gary. That Chespin was born at the exact same moment as those 2 were. I was checking him up and making sure nothing was wrong with him these four years, but I think it's best if he goes with you for right now, Gary." Sycamore told him as it was obvious by this point Chespin had become attached to Gary that he didn't want to get off the shoulder he was on right now. Gary had a smile at this. "You and me, Chespin? We're gonna rock the trainer world! We're gonna see the Regions of this world! AND HOPEFULLY WE'RE GONNA CONQUER THE LEAGUES!" Gary shouted while making a fist bump in the air with Chespin doing the same motion.

"But wait! Who asked for me to get this Chespin alongside the Kanto Starter, Grandpa?" Gary asked in realization at the fact that the person hadn't come in to announce himself. Oak smiled and made a motion for Gary to turn around and notice that Ash was chuckling nervously. "Ash you were the one who asked this? Why?" Gary was surprised by this turn of events as he thought that as Rivals, he and Ash would try to get a one up on each other. "Yeah. I honestly did this so that we could level the playing field Gary. It just wouldn't be fair if me and Serena were the only ones who had Pokemon like these and got an extra Kanto Starter to boot." Ash replied nervously as he could feel that not only was John giving him a Death Glare, but he had also almost gotten the cloth snake out of his mouth. Gary thought it over a moment and smiled. "Yeah. A rival is not just meant to be a spot, IT'S A MUTAL BENEFITION OF EACH OTHER TO DO THEIR BEST!" he shouted with Chespin once again making a motion that he agreed with him once again. "Now, Grandpa. Not to be rude but who gets first pick at Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur?" Gary asked as he and Chespin were eager to see their next comrade.

"Who said that those were going to be your choices, Gary?" Oak asked which surprised everyone, even the Kanto Elite. "There are three Pokemon here that I think will be great fits for you. As such I am giving you the one, I think will fit the most with you." Oak explained as he handed Ash a bright Yellow Pokéball, Serena a light Cream-colored ball, and Gary a Dark Cream-colored ball. Motioning for Gary to release his first, Gary threw the Pokéball into the air and he was surprised at what he saw.

A small canine like Pokemon was standing right in front of him with its eyes slowly opening, probably been in the ball for a while and was only now getting readjusted to the light. "Vee?" the small Pokemon said before looking around and seeing the boy with the shiny Pokemon on his shoulder walk toward him. "Hello, Eevee. My name is Gary Oak. Me and Chespin are determined to take on the Gyms of the Regions and show our skills. Our dream may change but the core fundamentals will stay the same. Do you wish to join us? I will not force you to come with use if you don't want to." Gary explained to the little guy who mulled it over a bit then looked expectantly at the free shoulder on Gary's left. Seeing where it was looking, Gary once again bent down and let Eevee climb up his shoulder, showing that he accepted the proposal.

"Now Serena, you may open yours." Professor Oak instructed her as she complied. Out of the ball came another Eevee, but this one was female. She yawned at being out of the ball and looked around her surroundings before seeing the girl who released her walking towards her. "Hello Eevee, my name is Serena. I want to become a Pokemon Coordinator and Performer. I would be honored if you came with me and helped me towards our goal. Both me and Fennekin." Serena through telepathy told the little Eevee and waited for her response, feeling it was best to not probe her mind in case she screwed something up in there. After a few seconds the Eevee went, "Of course I'll join you! I'm not a fighter like my brother over there but I will join you for the contests and showcases!" though Eevee was shocked at the fact that this girl was telepathic. She then motioned over to the Eevee on Gary's shoulder who was almost looking defensive at Serena getting her.

"He's your brother?" Serena said aloud which made everyone look at the Eevee on Gary's shoulder. "That's right. That Eevee which has accepted Gary is this one's older brother and has shown to be very defensive of her. Make a wrong move or threaten her and he will come and punish you harshly." Oak clarified as John FINALLY got the cloths out of his mouth and could speak again, but he chose not to speak right now as Gary, Chespin, Blue, and even Gary's Eevee was glaring directly at him, almost as if they were DARING him to make a snide comment. "Well, if I do anything, you have my permission to, no questions asked and depending on your evolution if you decide to do so, hit me as hard as you want." Serena told the older Eevee. He smiled and sent through telepathy, "That's what I like to hear. I have full confidence in you to take good care of my sister. Thank you."

"Now Finally, your turn Ash." Oak said as Ash was about to throw the Pokéball but suddenly stopped and gently placed it on the ground. "Ash what are you- "Jack began when the ball opened on its own. Out of the ball came a most unexpected result. A Pikachu stood before everyone, and at first, he did not look happy. Froakie instantly got in front of Ash in case this Pikachu had an attitude as all the other ones got in front as well minus the Female Eevee as it was picked up by Serena to protect. However, the moment the Pikachu, Froakie and Ash got a better look at each other they looked confused. "You look familiar kid, and I definitely know I've seen that Froakie somewhere before."

Ash mulled it over for a couple seconds when he thought of a question. "Were you grabbed by a 6-year-old kid during a Pokemon Scavenger hunt, and he began to talk to you and apologized for grabbing you like that?" When Ash asked that question, the Pikachu's eyes grew wide, not just at this kid who somehow understood him, but the fact that yes, he DID have that happen to him, and then he connected the dots.

"Wait! You were that kid all those years ago!" Pikachu shouted with a realization. Ash laughed alongside Pikachu and Froakie as they quickly caught up. Apparently, 2 years ago, after another camp had ended, Oak had decided to bring him into the lab after he learned Volt Tackle, where he evolved but an aide that did not take the hint from Oak kept trying to "Dissect and explore" his body to find out why. Thankfully the police arrived as Oak had gotten him in a Pokéball to protect him while he ran back to the lab.

"Anyways, Oak says you might be a good fit for me. Me and Froakie want to become Pokemon Masters, and I think you'll help us out and we'll help make you stronger. What do ya say bud?" Ash asked Pikachu who immediately responded, "Do I have to stay in that Pokéball?" "If you don't want to, you don't have to." Was all Ash replied. "Then, yeah! Let's become the very best like no one ever was!" Pikachu declared while raising his right fist in the air with Ash mimicking it and then letting Pikachu and Froakie get on one shoulder each.

"Well that was pretty exciting, don't you think Eev- "Serena said before noticing that Eevee was strangely quiet. When she investigated her mind, she giggled and motioned for Fennekin, and Green to come closer. "Eevee has a crush on that Pikachu" she told them ash Eevee had hearts in her eyes looking at Pikachu. "Just like you have a crush on Ash?" Green and Fennekin teased which made Serena red in the face, but she got back at Fennekin. "Oh yeah like you totally weren't staring at Froakie the whole time, Fenny." Green nearly started laughing at that while Fennekin almost tried to burn Serena's face because of her telling someone else about her Froakie crush, but a quick reminder that Eevee was still in Serena's arms made her stop as she did NOT want to face her brother's wrath if that happened.

"Hey Ash!" Gary called out to his rival. "Since I don't think either of us have actually battled in a real battle, what do you say to a 2v2 right now?" When Ash heard that, he quickly turned to Oak with a questioning look. "I actually anticipated this, given WHAT YOUR FATHERS DID WHEN THEY GOT THEIR FIRST POKEMON!" Oak almost bellowed the last part at both Jack and John, who cowered back at how angry Oak got, remembering when they almost destroyed his lab with their first Pokemon battle when Jack picked Squirtle, and John picked Bulbasaur. "There is a battlefield out the back, please take it out there." He requested.

Ash went to one side of the field while Gary went to the other. Daisy had been out back tending to some Pokemon when they came out and held the laptop that was streaming the battle to Professor Sycamore. "This will be a 2v2 match between Ash Ketchum and Gary Oak, both of Pallet town. You may use one Pokemon that can only be switched out when it is knocked out. The winner will be the one who still has a Pokemon able to fight. Are both sides ready?" Blue looked back and forth to see that they were indeed ready. "Then send out your first Pokemon AND BEGIN!" He shouted.

"FROAKIE, I CHOOSE YOU!" Ash declared his first Pokemon. "ALRIGHT CHESPIN! LET'S SHOW EM OUR SKILLS!" Gary answered back as the Pokemon got into position. "Froakie use Pound!" Froakie's right fist glowed right as he went into punch Chespin. "Vine Whip, Chespin!" two vines made of ivy came out of the back of Chespin stopping the attack in its tracks. "Now use Tackle!" Chespin began to charge right at Froakie for a physical attack. At the last moment, ash called out to Froakie, "Use Bubble right in Chespin's face!" When Froakie unleashed the Bubble attack it didn't stop the tackle from Chespin but it did disorient him to where it not only lessened the damage but made Chespin release his Vine Whips from Froakie's hand. "Use your Frubbles to glue Chespin to that spot!" Froakie grabbed a handful of the white bubbles around his neck and threw them at Chespin's feet where Chespin couldn't move at all.

"Excellent use of moves there. They aren't just using attacks to damage the opponents. Ash knew Bubble wouldn't hurt Chespin that much but knew it would knock it off course and slow it down, freeing Froakie's hand and putting Chespin in a worse position. While Gary knew that using Vine Whip on the fist wouldn't hurt Froakie, but handicap it and at the time, leave it open to attack." Lorelei stated as she was impressed at the fact that even though she trained the three new trainers here, 2 of them were already using advanced techniques. "I concur, my dear. While Gary may not have Serena's telepathy or Ash's ability to understand Pokemon, he still is working as one with Chespin to get an advantage against Ash. He is not letting an advantage like that take him over and bonds with his Pokemon his own way. A trait that I would expect from MOST of Samuel's family." Agatha said while giving a glare at John. "What impresses me is the amount of fighting spirit both they and their trainers possess." Bruno added. "Oftentimes, a new trainer is overwhelmed in this kind of situation to the point where the Trainer gets out of sync with the Pokemon, but these two don't seem to have that. Just the trait I would expect from 2 I personally trained in martial arts and the one who was trained by my equal in Johto, Chuck." He finished as he knew that while he trained Ash and Serena in martial arts since one can never be too careful in this world, he had IMMENSE respect for Chuck of Cianwood, who had trained both Blue and Gary and was currently training their younger brother, Water.

"You three have made good observations but you also personally trained them. I haven't yet but that's because I want to see what they do on their journeys before I take that step. But what I have seen so far is that they are worthy of being called Trainers. They connect to the heart of the Pokemon, a trait that I sadly see too many people fail at, but these 2 are equel to the point where the type advantage doesn't even matter. While I can't say anything for Serena right now," Lance piped in looking at Serena in the final line, "I believe that these 3 can complete their dreams, whatever the dream becomes for Gary, becoming a Pokemon Master for ash, or becoming the next top coordinator/Performer Queen for Serena." And with that he turned to Jack since he didn't see any need to talk to John right now. "Any thoughts on this Jack? I know its your son out there, but what do you think of Gary right now."

"I will admit after John has turned out I was terrified of what his children would be. I am glad I was surprised by Daisy becoming Samuel's aid and Blue actively IGNORING his father when he tried to pass on his arrogance because of Chuck. While I hate the fact that being the champion means I don't get that much time with my family, I'd say there is one positive. My children naturally went away from the superiority complex John would have tried to instill into his if it was in the same position. Blue was the sign of things being good, Gary to me is a sign that my faith in John's children is well placed." Jack replied showing how he respected Gary that much and that he considered him Ash's main rival right now.

Blue and Red overheard this. "Glad to see rejecting my dad's path was the right choice here." Blue muttered which Red caught. "When we first met, I will admit I thought you were acting like the arrogant jerk your father was when you said, 'Know your limits otherwise you will definitely defeat yourself'." Red replied which caught both Green and Blue off guard. "But after what happened in Silph Co. and we almost got killed, I began to realize that while my way worked for me and my Pokemon, your way also worked well too. It just wouldn't work for me that much since I live up to red hot rashness of my name." Red continued honestly as Green began to get closer and closer touched by his words, though some old habits die hard. "Green before I continue on my side about how I changed you and how your younger sister is doing, PLEASE GET YOU HAND OUT OF MY RIGHT POCKET." He simply stated having felt her go for his wallet again. Green chuckled nervously and was about to move away when Red put his arm around her hip. "I think right now my biggest career success, aside from winning that tournament and seeing my younger brother become friendly rivals with your younger brother, was when I helped you get out of that rut you were in when I met you and helped you reunite with your family and proved they didn't replace you with Leaf. And when I admitted my feelings to you." He said closing in on her face. He would have gone for it but both he and Green noticed that Jack was looking at them with a look that said, "Please save it for later son. I know how much you love her but right now this is Ash and Gary's moments to shine right now."

"Do you think anything like that could happen between me and Ash, Y?" Serena asked her bigger sister who chuckled at fond memories. "Oh yeah, I'll bet my future with X you do. It's almost like how I met X minus the fact that Ash didn't become a shut in for almost 5-10 years. When X had taught Kanga and her baby how to fight together, I will admit that was when my affection for him grew. When he became that shut in because of the press, I was honestly heartbroken because I felt the only friend who knew me the most was taken away from me, no matter how hard I tried to get him out. My old outgoing personality when we were in Kalos was a response to that. When our adventure happened, I saw what I thought was a ghost of the friend I once knew and not him. But I kept on trying and he eventually returned to the person whom I realized at that point that I loved. When he went to the Battle Frontier to test himself, he gave me a reminder before his boat left and stayed in contact with me." Y responded remember the kiss on the lips X had given her before he boarded his boat to the Battle Frontier. Serena smiled and imagined Ash doing the same to her, while Eevee imagined it being Pikachu. Fennekin just shook her head too proud and shy to admit to thinking the same thing with Froakie.

The battle between Froakie and Chespin had been raging on while Everyone was talking, and it showed that they were on their last legs. And then it happened. Froakie began glowing blue signifying that Torrent had been activated while Chespin glowed green showing Overgrowth had been activated. They both were on their last leg. "FROAKIE LETS PUT IT ALL IN ONE SHOT! USE BUBBLE UP CLOSE!" Froakie charged at Chespin but he didn't use Bubble. A blue water sphere signifying that he learned Aqua Pulse had happened. "SAME WITH US CHESPIN! USE VINE WHIP!" but just like with Froakie the move Chespin used was not Vine whip. An orange log appeared on Chespin's arm as it too charged at Frokie where the attacks collided. A hug Plume of smoke covered the area forcing everyone to avert their eyes in order to avoid losing their eyes. When the smoke settled no one at first could tell what happened or who won. Then the smoke cleared.

Chespin was lying face down on the ground while Froakie looked to almost be kneeling. Oak was about to call it for Froakie when Chespin began to move. It forced itself to look up seeing Froakie limp over to him. When Froakie got close to him, he and Chespin stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity before smiling and offering his hand. "You and I really went all out. I love fighting opponents like you. Let's both get stronger on our journeys and do the best for our trainers and come at each other with full force." Froakie said as Chespin had really earned his respect that he didn't underestimate him for just being a Water type. Chespin almost collapsed trying to stand up before he grabbed Froakie's extended hand. "It's a promise, my friend." He said before both he and Froakie fell to the ground with swirly eyes having exhausted their energy for that.

"CHESPIN AND FROAKIE ARE UNABLE TO BATTLE! IT IS A TIE!" Oak declared as he crossed his arms to indicate that as Ash and Serena translated the conversation between Froakie and Chespin. Ash and Gary had left their spots to go grab their fallen comrades. "You did great Froakie. I am proud to call you, my friend." Ash said to his fallen water type as Froakie smiled and motioned at his Pokéball which Ash obliged and returned him to rest and heal up.

"You gave your best out there Chespin. You didn't cower once or look down on Froakie once since he was a worthy opponent. You fought your hardest out ther. That's all I could ever ask of you." Gary told his grass type which made Chespin smile before he too motioned to his Pokéball. When they got back to their spots Ash looked down at Pikachu. "Eevee is probably going to be a tough one Pikachu. Do you feel up to it?" Ash asked his mouse friend who nodded and pulled Ash down and whispered something in his ear. Ash smiled and nodded before motioning for Pikachu to go out to the battlefield.

"Pikachu's going to be a very tricky opponent for us, Eevee. With that Static ability he could paralyze you if you hit him physically. I was hoping that Chespin would have some strength left to at least deal some damage to him, but they say the first casualty is the battle plan. Do you feel up to it my friend?" Gary asked his normal type who nodded though Gary could sense something else and knelt to talk to him. "Your worried about your sister's crush on Pikachu, aren't you?" he whispered to it. Even though Gary couldn't understand Pokemon like Ash and Serena could, he could tell he hit the nail on the head with a Wood Hammer.

"Use this fight to see Pikachu's true self my friend." He told the little fox. Eevee looked up surprised at him before he continued. "A good way of seeing someone's true self is to see it in action. Don't speak loud enough for her to hear but that Pikachu can understand you clearly. If he doesn't seem like someone you can trust, then put a stop to it. But if he is trustworthy give him a warning about what happens if he breaks that trust." Eevee processed this and agreed with Gary running out onto the battlefield to face Pikachu.

"Are both trainers and Pokemon ready?" Oak asked before seeing them nod. "THEN IT WILL BE PIKACHU VS EEVEE! LET THE BATTLE COMMENCE!" Oak declared as both Eevee and Pikachu flew at each other. But everyone noticed something. Neither Ash nor Gary had given a command and the two had just charged at each other. What they didn't know was that during the tussle Pikachu and Eevee were having a conversation.

"So, I know your sister has a crush on me. Do you intend to do anything?" Pikachu had asked when he caught Eevee when it tried to Tackle him. "That depends on what I see in you. I will not let my sister end up heartbroken because of someone unless they die trying to save her!" Eevee almost growled at him. "You are really protective of her aren't ya?" Pikachu asked as he was worried Eevee would blow this out of proportion a bit. "I will admit I am very protective of her but that's because she saw our parents die right in front of her eyes." Eevee almost cried. "She almost didn't make it at all. I had been injured when some poachers had cornered our family and I barely was able to cry for help when Mom and Dad were killed." He began to shed tears. Those who saw him crying had a feeling that something was personal in the fight almost.

"I know how you feel. When me and my family were almost caught by Trainers in Viridian Forest, my father had led them away. When he came back, he was a Raichu. Things were still great for a while until something happened to him. He began to become feral, losing almost all sense of who he was. But the part of him that was a family man was still in him, and he could never bring himself to attack us. When he began to go out of control, he ran over to the cliffside that our home tree was based nearby. He had turned around and with what little willpower he had left he told me, my sister and my mother how much he loved us before he hurled himself off the cliff to keep us from whatever was going on in his mind." Pikachu recounted with tears in his eyes. While they thought they were talking to where Serena's Eevee couldn't hear, she had heard everything. And was touched.

"That's why even though I reciprocate her feelings I will not walk over you to get her feelings. If I become her mate, we will be family. And I want to be like the Pokemon my father was up to the point where he sacrificed himself to keep us safe Eevee. She is entitled to her life just as much as me and you. She is not an object to be won. She is a living being. Like you and me." Pikachu finished with tears but with a smile.

"You … are worthy of my sister's affection, Pikachu. But know this, if you later decide to break that, I WILL hunt you down and make you regret it." Eevee answered back. "No, you will not." Pikachu answered back which confused Eevee. "If I do something like that, I will present myself to you to be punished by you. If someone takes over me like what happened to my father, I will hunt down whatever made me do it and punish them before seeking you out for my punishment. If I decide to become a Raichu and the same thing that happened to my dad happens to me, I will either make the same choice he did or hold my body back long enough for you to end it." Pikachu answered back confidently which made Eevee glad he listened to Gary on this matter.

Both Ash and Gary sensed that their Pokemon had worked things out and now had their minds ready for the fight but they both had expended energy and probably only had one attack left they could do. Ash looked over at Gary, who nodded as both had come to the same conclusion. "PIKACHU USE VOLT TACKLE!" Ash declared as Pikachu began charging at Eevee with his body surrounded by Electricity. "USE LAST RESORT EEVEE!" Gary called out. Eevee's body became outlined with a golden aura as he charged forward at Pikachu which then formed into a giant star in front of him but instead of releasing it, he continued to charge forward with it.

Both attacks made an explosion even bigger than the one Froakie and Chespin had made. So much energy was released that the surrounding area almost felt like an earthquake and the people in Pallet Town saw the amount of smoke at the Lab and rushed to make sure everything was ok. Everyone had averted their eyes because of the high winds and sand partciles flying around. It was a miracle the place was still standing at all and that the connection to Sycamore was still going. Red had covered Green to protect her in case some debris had gotten loose while Bruno had released his Onix to try and provide cover. And then there was silence when they saw the field.

Both Pikachu and Eevee were staring at each other. Not making a move just looking directly at one another. Then with a smile Pikachu showed respect to Eevee for a worthwhile fight before he collapsed to the ground his energy completely spent. Eevee smiled knowing his sister made the right choice before he collapsed too but was still conscious.

"PIKACHU IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! THE WINNER BY A SMALL MARGIN HERE IS EEVEE! MEANING GARY OAK IS THE WINNER! Oak practically bellowed both in proudness of the 2 trainers in front of him especially his grandson right now. Though he was a bit peeved that the battlefield he had made was now basically gone and had to be rebuilt.

Ash walked over to Pikachu who looked like he had been through hell. Cuts were on his head and bite marks were on his arms and legs from where Eevee had used bite. Gary knelt next to Eevee, who looked not as bad but needed medical attention. Electricity almost seemed to course through his body from time to time and his head had a spot where Pikachu's volt tackle and his Last resort attack clashed. Both smiled at each other until they saw a figure running through the smoke. It was Serena's Eevee.

"Brother! I heard everything! Please don't blame yourself for how shy I was when we first came here! You were sneak attacked by those poachers who wanted to sell our family! I could never walk away from you unless it was time. Please don't kill yourself for my sake right now!" Shey cried while nuzzling her brothers face. "Thank you, dear sister. But I can't always be there for you no matter how hard I try and there are going to be challenges neither of us are prepared for. But the one you have feelings for here is one whom I trust your life with. Don't let him go ever." Eevee responded to his sister with a smile while looking at Pikachu who smiled back despite the shape, he was in. By now everyone was witnessing what was going on as they saw Eevee rush in and had followed to make sure everything was ok. Then Serena's Eevee did something that surprised everyone. She walked over to where Pikachu was being picked up by Ash, and kissed Pikachu on the cheek making sure to avoid getting shocked by accident. "Thank you for helping my brother out with his problems my Pika knight." Eevee told him while Ash and Serena translated. "Whenever you need me Eevee princess." Pikachu remarked back.

It had been an hour after the battle had ended, but things were looking good. The Elite 4 were dragging John away for his punishment while saying goodbye to everyone and wishing Serena, Ash and Gary luck on their journeys and the hope to eventually fight Ash and/or Gary in the future. "So what are the plans now?" Ash asked with Serena and Gary making similar motions. "First Ash and Gary your Pokemon are staying here to make sure they fully heal before you go on your journeys. Second is what we are going to do right now. You three are going to be having a special privilege on this journey." He said motioning once again for everyone to follow him while Sycamore said he had lost track of time because of the battle and had left after wishing them luck on their journeys. "First is these" Oak said pulling out 3 devices that looked like portable game devices. "These are called Pokédexs. Point them at a Pokemon and it will give you the necessary information on them." He told them handing one to each of them. "But these are special Pokédex. They are the National version given how you each have one Pokemon from Kalos." Then he pulled out three bags. "These backpacks have a special function called the Pokebox pc. It's like a regular pc but you don't need to have an access point at a Pokemon Center in order to access it. But if you go over thirty Pokemon, any excess you catch will be sent back here for me so do be mindful. Also, you must keep six Pokemon out of the box and somewhere on you as your active Pokemon so that you are not accused of forced battling." He then pulled out a blue tablet, a pink tablet, and a green tablet. "Lastly these are going to be tablets that you can use to access the net, the box bag pc and a map of the region you're in now. With this you are less likely to get lost though things can still happen." He laughed at the end before giving the blue tablet to Ash, the pink tablet to Serena and the green tablet to Gary. "I expect the best on your journeys and that you will help me out with my research by catching as many Pokemon as you feel you can. You are the future of Trainers. Go out and make your dreams a reality!" he declared before he went back inside with Daisy after she said goodbye to Gary and Blue. "So, Gary, when are you heading off?" "Probably after I make sure dad didn't pull some other stunt." He replied as they exited the building (And Red making sure Green hadn't swiped anything off him again) they all froze when they saw a bewildering sight.

"What fresh level of hell is THIS!?" Gary practically roared when he saw a convertible with his name on it and 6 cheerleader girls crying his name and random cheers. "I think Dad was hoping it would 'MOTIVATE' you to be as arrogant as he is and to take a shortcut to all the cities with gyms." Blue responded in disgust before having a thought. "Hey Green, did you perchance happen to swipe- "Blue began before a smirking Green revealed his dad's wallet with a check for each of the girls. "Hey girls as a bonus you can keep that car for whatever you want along with the checks just don't DUI, please." Gary called to the Cheerleaders who agreed and took the checks and drove off in the convertible. "OK now that that is out of the way, once Chespin and Eevee are healed up, I'm heading out since I've said goodbye to everyone here. Keep an eye out for me though, Ash, Me and my Pokemon would like a rematch to make sure neither of us are slouching!" Gary said with Ash giving a thumbs up with Gary taking off down the road.

He and Serena and their families were walking down the roads to their respective homes when Y made a motion that Green and Red picked up and said that they would meet them at home. Ash and Serena had a pretty good idea why.

"So Serena, got a question for you." Ash said to Serena when they were alone. "What is it Ash?" Serena inquired though she hoped it was what she thought it was. "Since we seem to work pretty well together, and since our Pokemon know each other, what would you say to taking a journey together through the region?" Ash asked though he was having a hard time saying it straight. Serena smiled, "Of course Ash! Until I find a reason to leave, I will stay with you through your journeys! The more the merrier." Ash breathed a sigh of relief, and they continued on home though Ash stopped and made sure Serena got home safe before he headed home for some food sleep and the last time, he would probably have his mother's entrée cooking for a while.

Later that night, however, Oak was conversing with Sycamore on a certain subject. "Are you absolutely POSTITIVE this might what Ash and Serena found last year?" they were talking about the belt devices that Ash and Serena had found. "Absoluetly. They match the ancient text that refer to the wielder of the one Ash possesses as OOO while the one Serena has matched the one that is called Build. But what I can't say for sure is if they are going to become them or are just the deliverers to the actual wielders." Sycamore replied and a little worried. No one had a straight answer for what these things were until the Hoenn Champions Steve and Wallace had found a mural in granite cave depicting something. "That's honestly not what concerns me right now Sycamore." "Me too. I'm more worried that Ash and Serena might not survive." The other professor replied worriedly while both he and Oak looked at the mural.

The mural depicted a Warrior with what looked like a belt version of what Ash had found but with coins in the slots and an armor that was split into three sections with the legs, arms and head being separated. Next to it was a Warrior who by the way it was drawn was a female with the same belt Serena had, but with strange objects slotted int. The Warrior's armor looked to be split diagonally as she held the other warriors hand leaping into battle. But what scared theme most was what the warriors were fighting. A being who looked like a corrupted version of the three-cut warrior and another being who looked like a space alien that had a belt that looked eerily like the female warriors but colored completely red and more demonic looking. They had no clue how right they were in how dangerous these beings were.

SHEESH! I think I might have gone overboard here. But there you have it! The professors have discovered some uneasy information about the devices that Ash and Serena have. But are they the Harbingers or just the delivery people? Is anything going to go wrong that might cost them their lives? Also, some characterization of their Pokémon, was anyone expecting Gary to get Chespin alongside Eevee? And how well did I do that fight? Please review and I will do my best to accommodate! And as always: THE SABER IN YOUR HAAAND IS A PEN TO WRITE IT DOWN! WORDS TO SAVE THIS WOOOOORLD!
