Prom Night

In the evening, inside the community school of Sunset Valley, there was loud music coming from. As displayed on a large towel hanging over the entrance it was the annual prom night for the high school students. The 10th up to the 12th classes were invited to attend the evening and stuck all inside the building in the hall, all having fun on the dance floor, while others would stand around admiring the dancing people, others would hang at the bar for a drink or some snack.

By the snack bar appeared the boy Parker Langerak wearing blue dress pants and a green dress jacket with light line patterns crossing each other over the textile. Parker took a look at the various aperitifs on the table, then picked up a canapé with salmon to take a bite on it, having afterward over his cupid's bow a tip of crème on.

On the dance floor he spotted his best friend Ethan Bunch dancing together with Bebe Hart, one girl, he had started to date almost 8 months ago. The blonde seemed really happy with that girl. Parker was glad about his friend's state. The two might not have spent the same amount of time they had in the past and Parker wasn't able to move through school the way he used to do with Ethan's help. He never was salty about Ethan not having time for him nor borrowing his homework for him. He appreciated, that his best buddy had somebody to share his passion with. Parker actually had found his way to get through school exams without copying his friend's homework. Not from copying from the other students. The fact, he has changed quite a bit during the semester. His initial plan was to convince any of his classmates to help him out with homework by having him borrow them quickly. Upon meeting a girl he knew, that attended art classes along with his classmates Bebe Hart and Holly Alto. He went on with doing the homework with her help. Funnily the first few times Parker would try to figure out a way to somehow get her to change their ways of doing the homework, but she knew what he wanted and lectured him several times, she wouldn't care about his offers. She's there to help him of her own will. Parker had noticed he wasn't being quite fair with her and apologized to her, then took his time to put effort to work on himself with the homework. Also, he got to know her better and became friends with her.

Parker noticed Bebe wave at the boy, making the boy smile and wave back at the girl. Parker looked back at the table to see, what he could take to eat, then noticed the last roast beef-covered canapé making him smile and reach his hand to grab it, then shrieked as someone else took it away from him and the raven-haired boy spotted the blonde boy Davy Linnell, which was from the same class as the girl, who helped with the homework.

"What a surprise, you made it to the prom," Spoke Parker earning the attention of the blonde, before he took a bite of the canapé.

"I had convinced the families I had to work for, that I had to attend the prom here," Responded Davy. "I haven't been in one so far and since Holly and I are going steady I thought it would be a good thing for us," Explained Davy making Parker nod.

"She's a good girl. I've been friends with her since the 4th grade," Mentioned Parker. "I feel like you two are really good for each other,"

"Thanks," Responded Davy a little embarrassed, then took a bite of his toast. "You know, I had seen you two very often along with Ethan or Bebe as well. I assumed you two were a thing or would be a thing at some point,"

Parker chuckled at the blonde's comment, then shook his head.

"Actually no. She was more like a sister to me. At the start, we both were like the only two to be dual citizens, while everybody else either was American or a different nationality and most of the ones we knew found it weird for us to have two nationalities,"

"Well, I'd find it cool to be able to speak more than two languages. I only do speak English and Spanish from Spanish class. Then there's you, who speaks English, Swedish, Portuguese, and even Spanish. Or Holly's the same, except she doesn't speak Swedish,"

"I got you…..Well, Holly and I are used to talk to each other in English, cause back, when we were younger we had to speak English, cause we kind of couldn't understand each other. She would speak a mix of Spanish and Portuguese and this kind of made it hard for me to understand it. Today now I would understand her as I'm learning Spanish as well," Explained Parker making Davy nod.

From the crowd appeared the mentioned girl wearing a white dress with small flower patterns stuck over a brown line on the skirt. Davy saw her, then stepped aside to move his arm elegantly at the table.

"Look at the available aperitifs here. They even have vegetarian variants like uhm…..asparagus…..eggs and cheese, so far I have noticed," Mentioned the US-American boy making Holly smile at his attention.

"I might take one with asparagus. I never had one of those," Mentioned Holly picking up a triangle to give it a try, then noticed on Parker's cupid's bow the crème, then chuckled.

"What's so funny?" Questioned Parker exchanging looks with Davy, which shrugged his shoulders, afterward Davy squinted his eyes and noticed Parker's spot over the lip.

"Oh I think it's the crème, you got over there," Pointed Davy watching Parker roll his eyes down and move his mustache area to check it out.

"Oh thank you," Mentioned Parker licking it off making Holly chuckle, then tried out her toast, followed by widening her eyes at enjoying the flavor.

"Mmh, that's good!" Commented Holly making Davy smile, then the green-eyed girl looked at the Swedish-Portuguese standing there. "Where's River McIrish?"

"I don't know," Responded Parker, then Holly gazed at her boyfriend, which shrugged her shoulders.

"I've seen her at the entrance when I got here, but that's almost an hour ago," Mentioned Davy making Holly nod.

"We might see each other at some point," Stated Parker. "I remember her talking a few weeks ago about how, she would have liked it, if Michael would go out with her on the prom I think. I'm not sure if she meant Bachelor or then one from music class,"

"Hmm I don't know," Responded Holly. "I haven't seen them yet, to be honest," Confessed Holly making Parker nod.

"It's alright. I had already signed in to come here before... I can live with this," Parker added making Holly tilt her head curious.

"Why can you live with this? Do you like her?" Questioned Holly watching Parker move his fingers to reject her curiosity.

"I did not say that!" Disgressed Parker making Holly beam excited about her friend.

"Aww you obviously do it, but you won't admit it," Teased the blonde making Parker roll his eyes annoyed at his friend.

"Okay, I do like her. Okay? So what else do you want. I know she's interested in someone else and I accept that. You can't force anyone to like you the way you do," Commented Parker making Holly raise her eyebrow surprised at his comment.

"But doesn't she like want to get to know him first or does she really like him? You could go to the prom with people for many reasons..." Davy mentioned watching his girlfriend pat Parker on the shoulder.

"Wow, can't you believe it, last year, he would have fought to obtain a girl's attention and now he just gives up like this," Commented Holly observing Davy shrug his shoulders. "Right you don't know it. He happened to convince Dina Caliente, Nina Caliente, and Luisa Libros to like him, as they were interested in someone else. It worked, but the relationships lasted for a couple of days only," Spoke Holly watching Davy peek at Parker, which nodded at the Iberian-descendant girl's comment.

"I think the last girls I went out with weren't right for me. I don't know, how I should define this, there's something in River, that….. is different. Upon being befriended with her I felt the need, that I could be better than who I was at that time. I wanted to show her that I could do a lot more, than just being able to make it through school all on my own,"

Holly smiled at Parker's sentence, then placed her arm around his back while he stood there neutrally at her deed.

"I'm pretty sure she has caught that or better, she needs to know that from you. That she has altered you for the good. I'm pretty sure, this is going to work, right Davy?" Questioned Holly looking at her boyfriend, which shrugged his shoulders, then Holly's happy expression changed into a deadpan face at his disagreement.

The music over the hall had changed into a slower one, then half of the students stopped and began to go slower with the music, then Davy shove the rest of the canapé into his mouth, then approached his girlfriend to grab her by the hand.

"Hey, what about a slow dance?" Questioned Davy, then Holly looked at Parker, which nodded at the girl.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine," Promised Parker making Holly smile, then she moved into the arms of Davy, which guided her over the dancefloor closer to the others.

Parker observed the crowd with a small smile, then walked further to check out all the people there dancing and spotted at the end of the crowd River McIrish laughing as she talked with somebody, he couldn't recognize behind the many people. Parker smiled a little at seeing the face of the girl, then he moved further.

By River's side, she had been talking with Michael Bachelor and Candy Ashleydale, which had a napkin on her hand, which she used on her dress.

"That was an odd encounter," Commented River making Candy nod, which was using the napkin to clean of the juice, she had received on the dark dress

"Well, the one good thing about the dress is…..the color," Mentioned Michael a little sheepishly as he had been the one, who had a while ago emptied a drink over her accidentally.

"So you two here came alone?" Questioned Candy looking up at the two people.

"I did, actually. I heard from River a while ago she came on her own too," Commented Michael making the brunette nod.

"But you two have promised each other to dance, right?" Questioned Candy watching the two shake their heads. "Why not?"

"I'm just seeing what the night brings me," Remarked Michael. "This happened for example,"

"Right," Responded Candy then looked at River. "What about you? Waiting for the same issue?"

"Well yeah," Responded River taking a look at the major couples dancing slow to the music. "Eventually I was hoping for somebody to ask me to dance. Someone I know very well," Mentioned River trying to spot the certain somebody she meant.

"Ethan?" Commented Michael questioningly watching River shake her head.

"No. It's easier to guess, than you think," Assured the brunette exchanging looks with the brunette boy, which stared along with the girl above the crowd.

"There are a lot of guys, if you want to know the truth," Commented Michael, then spotted at the exit of the hall the classmate Parker Langerak grab the handle of the door to open it, so he could get out of the hall. "The Langerak boy, right?" Questioned Michael making River smile, which had seen the boy leave as well. "Where's he going?" Questioned the teenager making River shrug her shoulders.

"Do you think he's going to ask you out, as you expect?" Questioned Candy watching from behind the boy, that had left the place.

"I don't think he knows I'm here," Commented River watching the duo shrug their shoulders. "I'll be right back," Mentioned the brunette walking across the hall, leaving the duo, back which exchanged with each other looks wondering about, what she would be going to do.

Parker Langerak stood on the outside leaning against the wall watching the sun at the horizon setting down disappearing behind the few houses, that were able to be seen from the place, where Parker was. Next to the school, there was also the petit shark pool center, which was on the back side covered with a wall, which didn't seem so tall from afar. At that moment, he observed at the front entrance a redhead man leave along with a blonde woman and a child in their bathing clothing, afterward the blondes followed the redhead, which redirected the duo towards the back of the bookstore, where a large parking lot was located for visitors. Parker observed the trio, believing they seemed familiar to him, then returned to look at the sunset.

From the door of the building, River McIrish stepped out to look at the playground to spot Parker with his shoulder leaned against the wall of the school, then made her way to meet the boy and grabbed him on the shoulders causing him to jump.

"Hey Parker..."

"Woah!" Shrieked Parker making River chuckle, afterward, Parker sighed relief to see it was his friend. "It's just you, I thought it was someone else,"

"Like who?" Questioned River, then moved her head aside to notice a squeaking and watched a window being tilted back, so they could hear the hall music from the prom, making River smile a little from being able to hear the calm music from the interior.

"Someone, who's maybe crazy or nuts," Responded Parker. "Well, mainly I wasn't expected to get startled right now,"

"Why you're here?" Questioned River. "I noticed you were absent and was curious to know, where you were,"

"I left to get fresh air. I'm also not really in the mood to dance on my own in there. I know I'm not the only one there thought,"

"Come, there are other things we could do there," Suggested River grabbing the friend by his arm. "It's boring there without anyone to be with,"

"That kind of makes us two," Mentioned Parker making River nod.

"See?" Answered River, then Parker looked at the girl, which beamed at the friend. Parker mirrored her facial expression, then pondered about her offer.

"River…..one question...why you're not in there dancing with Michael as you had wanted before? Did he got out with someone else?"

"You know, lately I wasn't really interested to have anything to do with him. This was more of a thought of how I thought we could be like,"

"Weird, I could swear you liked him," Mentioned Parker making River nod.

"Well, I had an interest in him back months ago. It's just, that we barely interacted and if we did, nothing more has happened. He would not interact with me the way friends do. It's like he doesn't know I exist or, that I'm not so important,"

"You mean like you have expected he would like you the same way you do, but it's totally different?" Questioned Parker making River nod as Parker seemed to have understood it.

"Exactly that," Commented River. "You sure seem to know, how this feels, right?" Questioned River watching Parker nod, making River smile a little gently. "There sure is someone out there you must like, but she doesn't seem to…...give you the attention you had expected," The brunette mentioned stepping around the friend to get in front of him.

"Well….I don't know, how I should express this in words...we happen to get along with each other pretty well," Parker affirmed.

"Do I know her?" Questioned River pretending to be curious, although for her it was obvious, who he was talking about.

"Well…..," Parker spoke passing his hand above his hat slightly nervously about, what direction he should move on from that. "Her name is River McIrish,"

The brunette smiled angelically at the boy's comment, then took a step closer to the boy to look into the dark-green eyes of him. Parker raised his eyebrows inquisitively as she seemed to have reacted well to his straight answer.

"I knew it," The Irish girl teased the boy, making him drop his chin surprised at her knowledge.

"Uh have I somehow made anything obvious?" Questioned Parker making River shake her head.

"No, but I felt in the past weeks, that you have changed a lot….in a positive way," Mentioned River. "All this after we began to get along after a few weeks as we had agreed on doing homework together,"

"You have inspired me, River You helped me know, that I could reach out for more than I would allow myself to. I can be much more than a simple jock navigating itself through the easy paths,"

"I'm happy to know that," Commented River spotting Parker's tie, which was slightly uneven, then adjusted it for him by an inch, so it would be straight. Parker smiled at her doing, then both heard an announcement from the DJ, which had notified about an exchange of DJ, and a different genre of music started.

"Shouldn't we two get in?" Questioned River watching Parker look up at the open void from where the music came from and he shook his head. "What do you have in mind?" The girl asked observing Parker extend out his hand with a gentle smile at the girl.

"I think a dance under the stars is far more satisfactory for our taste," Parker avowed making River smile, then accepted his hand and moved against his arms locking her hands with his. River smiled lovely by standing closer to the boy, then signaled him with a nod, that she was ready to follow his lead. Parker guided her away from the walls, so both would have enough space to be able to dance. The lyrics of the song began to play, which sounded from the outside slightly hard to understand, where it was from. What exactly the text was about remained unknown to the duo. Fact, that funnily something about it still made the two feel a connection between them.

When bow geel him, bow'm neeshga longer bow. Bow blush red aey sperk low.

As River followed the lead, she observed the boy conduct her over the stone tiles, thereafter stopped and letting her roll out from his arm, while holding her by the hand. Afterward, he pulled her back slightly hard, causing her to crash against his arms.

"I'm sorry," Apologized Parker lifting his head up upon having felt River hit him on the nose by accident. "This sounds ridiculous, but I haven't really danced before with anyone,"

"Neither have I," Confessed River making Parker nod, a little surprised. "It's still worth trying,"

"Sure. I'm secure we can get better," Stated Parker taking River's one arm up on his shoulder, then placed the right arm behind her back and the left one he had locked up with her left hand, afterward both glimpsed at each other with a self-assured expression on their faces.

Bow turkey like a power. Wibbs pulls bow beyond

The two had begun to move sideward to the music following the calm, yet contemporary song together. Parker led the girl along the stone tiles to remember for himself in the head, that they had stopped at the fourth tile, afterward, he let River roll out from his arms and stand beside him like a mirror to him. The brunette returned slowly back into the arms of Parker, then grinned at Parker's simper facial expression for not showing any insecurity from failing again. River had placed her hand on his shoulder again, to move along the floor, slowly around, different from how they had started.

"I had been wondering, if you had ever danced with somebody before," Mentioned River making Parker shake his head.

"Actually not," Responded Parker. "With anyone at least. Perhaps if I had asked my father or my aunt about it, they sure would have given me a few bits of advice,"

"But you knew we both were doing wrong," Noticed River making Parker nod.

"I felt that something about this was going wrong, but I think I have figured it out," Parker acknowledged stopping to let River out of his arm again watching her stick out her freed arm again, making Parker smile smugly at it, then held out his hand again to have her lock up with his again, then rolled up his eyes at hers to see the seafoam eyes of the girl.

Bow dare say natig to him. Bow want it for bow.

He led the girl around the floor keeping his eyes focused on hers, not bothering to realize he was dancing along with her pretty decent for the first time. River remained with an angelic smile plastered across her face, following her crush's lead trusting him.

The song began to sound more peppy, giving the Swedish-Portuguese boy a more confident feeling towards their dancing and allowed himself to take a risk, by taking a new step, leading River through the normal four steps over the tiles, then as both stopped he moved his hand at her back and sank her down gently surprising her at first, soon afterward she closed her eyes joyfully at his deed. She got pulled up again to follow him to the other side, where he repeated the same task.

Depwa aey bow. If we bo gee each other. break dis act to ae fin. Dis mur so front na.

The duo slowed down keeping to dance, gazing at each other interested. River chuckled softly as she had paid attention to the instrumentals of the song, recognizing an adorable flute tune out of it, which made her remember old 2D movie classics. Parker began to feel estranged, than usual upon recognizing the man's voice in the music and gazing at River, which had a more amorously expression than before. Parker couldn't help himself to not understand how it was possible for someone like River to be into a boy, who supposedly had never had a real intention to build up romantic relationships as others from around the school would do, even the maturer adults from his area. Whatever had made him see things now differently all had to do with that girl, that was standing there right now with him. Dancing perhaps one slightly different way of, what it is supposed to work. That's what he assumed, whether it looks terrible or not, River didn't mind. She was enjoying their private time there on the outside.

Parker couldn't tell, what was going on inside River's head, but her face said it all. She was happy to be there. She clearly had wanted that for a little while. River felt like everything, that was happening around them was meant to happen. From a starry, cold night under the skyline, with a romantic, foreign song playing over the open window of the schoolhouse, giving them the atmosphere the school could never bring, despite the amount of effort to decorate the interior. Hearing from the song's duet the voice of the woman, River felt as if everything the song was about, was directed at the two only, but she knew well, that wasn't true. The number of feelings, she had been feeling at that precise moment allowed her to fantasize about, what it could be about.

Bow know mik day we'll fly renato. Because, my love mik day depwa will geel. Depwa will become wabba…..

The song had changed from the female's voice back to the male's, followed by it turning into a duet, that kept inspiring the duo to move along, focused on each other, well enough they hadn't noticed down at the sidewalk a long-haired raven-haired nurse apprentice stand there with a smile watching them before she would walk further to the working location leaving unnoticed.

The two had reunited, after another roll and Parker now led River a little differently, now going in for a waltz. After just a few steps he stopped to move his arm up with hers, watching River understand that she had to make another 360° spin with Parker's help, then she accidentally stepped on Parker's shoe and got distracted a little, afterward placed her hands on the shoulders of the boy to hold herself from falling against him. Parker moved his arms up to take her hands down, then looked at her with assurement, that both were fine. River gazed enamored at the green-eyed boy, which mirrored her facial expression.

From the interior, they heard the song getting lower with the voices as it seemed to get to an end.

For depwa bow will wait a lifetime. Beka spanewash bow love depwa….

Parker moved his head forward with a smirk, then River approached her head against her friend's forehead leaning gently on his with a more bashful expression on her face. Parker eyed the girl curiously to see her, in deep focus on him. Parker gently grabbed the girl's hand to see her gaze up at him ardently, making Parker change from his smirk into a more gentle smile. He closed his eyes leaning against the girl, which grinned at seeing, what he was about to do, and closed hers as well, pointing her lips to meet his' soon enough.

"AND HIS NAME IS JOHN CENA!" Yelled a voice through a speaker, causing Parker and River to jump in shock at hearing the sudden change of volume inside the school, followed by a couple of laughter from students from the inside and a few swear words thrown around the hall.

"What was that?" Asked Parker holding his hand in front of his chest, while River glared at the open window of the school, then rubbed her eyelids with her fingers grated.

"I wouldn't be surprised if it was….."

"VJ! VJ! VJ! VJ! VJ! VJ!" Students from the inside chanted making Parker nod from hearing in advance, who might have been the culprit of the manipulation.

"What a surprise," Parker commented ironically knowing his classmate couldn't hold out the party without having to prank somebody. Or well, the entire school. "How are you doing, River?" Asked Parker placing his hand on River's shoulder.

"Actually I'm pretty pissed with VJ's prank," Confessed the brunette making Parker nod.

"Don't worry, the night's young. There's a lot of food in there. We both haven't been able to appreciate something yet," Suggested Parker, then River nodded.

"You're right, I'm coming with you," Commented River making Parker smile.

When the prom was over, all teenagers had made their way back home, most of them by foot. The two friends walked together along the Redwood Parkway heading home.

"It's alright, I don't have to walk so far. I just have to pass by the house of the Keatons and move forward until home. I basically end up going the same way, just with this additional route," Parker mentioned admiring altogether with the girl the few trees beside the sidewalk. "This part here of the town does have more pine trees than oak trees. I'm not sure if the latter is the ones we got around us," Supposed the raven-haired boy looking at River, which carried over her back Parker's green jacket. "You're still cold?" Inquired the boy making River shake her head.

"I'm better now," Responded River. "I'm actually enjoying the warmth," Confessed the brunette making the boy nod.

"That's good,"

"This was also your first prom, right?" Questioned River making Parker nod. "I had spent the first half of the evening inside before I got out. It was more entertaining to be on the outside. No big crowd, no odd smells of other's sweat, no one bothering you, just the two of us following the melody of the song,"

"So it was a good idea to be on the outside," Remarked the dual citizen boy making the girl cackle.

"Yes it was," Agreed the girl, then the jacket fell from one side down making the two stop, afterward Parker along with River moved up the jacket up on the shoulder again.

"I help," Offered the boy, then watched River slip her arm inside the sleeve and watch the boy automatically adjust it up on the shoulder, after that both glimpsed at each other surprised. River sank her head down embarrassed, then stared back at her friend, which just smiled courteously at the friend.

"Thanks," Responded River moving along the path with the friend.

"If you'd like, you can retrieve it back to me tomorrow. I won't need it for a while,"

"Thank you," Responded River looking in front at the road to see, they were approaching a garage, that belonged to a large, inhabited house and noticed attached on the door of the garage a sign, that had declared, the house to have been sold already to someone. "Wow, I can't believe someone bought this house after so many years,"

"Doesn't look like a bad house to me," Commented Parker making River nod.

"I think it's expensive and big. I don't know anyone, who could use one of this sort of house," Spoke River making Parker nod.

"Uh hum," Parker nodded, then looked across the road to see a brunette stood by the front of the garage pressing a button from the inside a button to turn on the device attached to the garage gate to roll it down. "Is she new?" Questioned Parker making River shrug her shoulders unsure.

"I think she's been here for a while. I haven't met her yet, I just know she leaves at night,"

"Hmm…." Murmured the boy watching the woman walk towards the entrance to see the door get opened up and spot a child around Parker's younger sister's age. "Perhaps the girl might know Kaylynn or the other way around,"

"Could be," Commented River stopping by the edge of the sidewalk, before she crossed the road along with Parker, which just walked forward heading to the path to the entrance. River looked at the windows to see the light was turned off, then stopped over the path close to the stairs.

"Already asleep?" Questioned Parker making River shrug her shoulders.

"My mom might be using her laptop. She's usually by the corridor with that light on only. Our roommate must be at the work. It's just 10:33 now,"

"Right, she works at the bistro you say,"

"Exactly," Commented River making Parker nod. "Thank you for walking me home. I enjoyed talking with you,"

"You're welcome. I appreciated it as well," Responded Parker. "If you want tomorrow, we could…..I don't know, go out at the park or go to the theatre," Parker questioned taking his cap down to squeeze it as if it was a stress ball. "If you'd like,"

"You're asking me on a date?" Questioned River upon noticing his sudden change of behavior.

"Yes. If you want, of course. It doesn't have to be a date," Assured the short-haired boy making River nod.

"I'd like to go on a date," River asserted making Parker smile at her acceptance.

"Cool. So….let's meet at 5 pm here or by the central park?" Questioned Parker, watching River step up the stair thinking about the answer.

"I think here is fine," Responded River making Parker nod.

"Cool, so we'll see each other tomorrow?"

"Sure, if you'd like, you can show up earlier if there is something,"

"Great, so I see you tomorrow," Parker spoke waving at the girl, which waved back with a sweet smile, then observed him turn around to make his way back to the sidewalk. River shook her head observing him leave simple, then called his attention again.

"Haven't you forgotten something!" Spoke the brunette loud watching Parker turn around, perplexed wondering about what she meant, afterward he returned to the stairs to notice, she had his dress jacket over her back.

"Wait, didn't we agree, that you could keep the jacket?" Questioned Parker making River nod, which took two steps down to approach her friend and placed her hands behind his neck to place her lips on his, causing him to widen his eyes in shock about the girl's deed. Parker didn't mind it now, that he hadn't been the one initiating the first step, so just let the girl move on and just placed his arms around her waist, moving his head slightly closer to hers having accepted it. After a little while, she got off him to gaze at him amorously.

"Woah, I kind of wasn't expecting that from you," Spoke Parker noticing he had out of surprise dropped his hat off his hand. The girl giggled, then took up his hat to give it back to him. "Thank you,"

"I actually had expected you would give it another try, but I was wrong,"

"I didn't feel like it was a good moment. But you proved to me it didn't matter," Spoke Parker putting his hat back on his head, then River placed her hand on his shoulder to lean towards him again to peck him on the cheek, then whispered into his ear.

"By the way, you look cuter if you got your hat off," Commented River making Parker widen his eyes surprised at her comment, afterward watched her go stairs up, while he admired her and gently took off his hat again to see her look back one more time to see him gaze at her. River smiled about seeing Parker having his hat down, then chuckled softly making the raven-haired smile ardently. River blew up a kiss at the boy, then entered the house and Parker turned his back against the door, then threw his hat up in the air triumphantly.

"Woohoo!"
