Chuck crawled into his bed as Missy left.
"What a rotten day!" Chuck moaned angrily.
"She seemed nice to me." Starley said confusedly.
"But she keeps looking at me like I can't be trusted!" Chuck shouted.
"Because you can't?" Finley asked sarcastically.
"What Finley means is, she is just looking out for you." Starley said.
"Well it's not working!" Chuck retorted. "I get picked on every flow and they still barely do anything!"
"I'm sure they're doing their best." Starley said.
"Whatever…" Chuck hid himself under the covers.
Meanwhile all of the staff were in the lounge, taking their break before going to bed, including Missy.
"Glargg, I would like to have a word with you." Missy said.
"What's your business?" Glargg asked.
"I'm worried about Chuck." Missy answered.
"Everyone is, that's why you were hired." Glargg affirmed.
"Well, I noticed you seem to yell at your students, especially him." Missy warned.
"That's how things get done!" Glargg said proudly.
"But, is it really the best method?" Missy asked.
"Glargg never really wanted to be a teacher!" Glargg complained, then gritted his teeth into a grin. "Glargg always wanted and deserved to be a powerful warrior just like Glargg's brother Brian!"
"But I'm worried about the way you're handling Chuck. I know he is a lot of trouble and it's hard to not be mad at him," Missy tried to explain. "But maybe if you explain the problem instead of yelling…"
"Glargg tried that! Chuck just disregards Glargg's discipline! Glargg tried everything and nothing is working!" Glargg then looked sad for a moment.
"Glargg." Marigold, the art teacher cut in. "I know you're doing this because you're worried about Chuck and I know he requires discipline. But I'm worried."
"About what?" Glargg asked.
"That you may become like… Florpna." Marigold shyly said. Glargg growled loudly.
"I AM NOTHING LIKE HER!!!" He shouted. "GLARGG IS NOT GLARGG'S MOTHER!!! Mother played favorites, Mother always rejected and criticized Glargg!" Glargg began tearing up a little. "If Glargg had kids, Glargg would never let that happen…"
"But, from what I heard, you already have kids and you're already doing that." Missy said.
About twelve years ago, Glargg was awaiting three tiger cubs to be his first students to represent the SLURP academy. AIIA brought three babies, Glargg smiled at how adorable and small they were.
"Huh…. Chickens?! Glargg wanted tigers, not Chickens!" Glargg slammed his fist on the table, intimidating the three.
"I apologize but you shouldn't yell at them, they're just babies." AIIA said. Glargg heard the three babies crying and immediately felt guilty.
"Aww, Glargg is sorry for scaring you." Glargg cooed and made baby noises. The babies began giggling.
"That's better." AIIA smiled. Glargg looked a little embarrassed, being caught making those noises but he looked back at the babies and smiled.
2 years later, Glargg noticed that Chuck was tripping when he tried to walk, he gave up and went back to crawling.
"Come on, Glargg will help you." Glargg grabbed Chuck's tiny hands and walked beside him, Chuck actually began walking. Glargg let go and gave him a tiny push. When Chuck saw he was on his own he immediately went back to crawling. Glargg rubbed his temples and sighed. "Let's try this again."
"Glargg guesses you're right." Glargg looked at the ground. "It's just so hard to unlearn what Glargg learned."
"You can still be yourself." Missy told him. "Maybe just show him you care more."
"Alright." Glargg sighed.
Finley was fast asleep whenheard a knock, he went to go answer.
"Oh, hey… Glargg?" Finley yawned. "What's up?"
"Is Chuck here?" Glargg asked in a nervous and quiet voice.
"I'll wake him up." Finley sighed. He pulled down the covers to Chuck's bed and gasped when he saw pillows with a face and a tuft of fake feathery hair. "He's gone?!"
"Chuck!!!!" Glargg exclaimed, even more shrill and angry than usual.
Chuck was once again going for a drive in space.
"I need to have just one moment of peace when I'm not using the bathroom or something!" Chuck uttered.
"Ugh, finally you're out of there." Sweet Skulls' voice called.
"No! I refuse to trust you again!" Chuck turned away and showed her the palm of his hand.
"I didn't come to be nice this time, I want someone better on our team!" Sweet Skulls told. "I am joining a new league of villains and once we recruit our new member we will be unstoppable!"
"I will never join you again, it caused my family to be disappointed in me." Chuck shook his head.
"I didn't mean you, I meant someone more evil and powerful. He was so easy to manipulate when we were both teenagers. He's a hard shell to crack now. But I have figured out a weakness he has." Sweet Skulls picked up Chuck and sang again. "You're pathetic and so abhorrent. But I know you are important! To someone who's coming to our team. Deep down he's still cruel, he'd think it's so cool, to help us with our scheme."
"Who?" Chuck asked.
"Oh, it will surprise you." Sweet Skulls laughed. "His name is…"
"Glargg!" Starley called as she and Finley ran after him.
"You two stay here this time!" Glargg put his hand in the way.
"But, Chuck." Starley said. "He could be alone and cold. I want to give him a big hug… After I crush him for scaring us all the time!"
"Glargg will take care of everything. It's Glargg's duty." Glargg sighed.
Chuck saw himself surrounded by Sweet Skulls and his old adversary, a green lizard like creature named Atori.
"That's it?" Chuck asked.
"Thrognak is here too. You just can't see him. He's tiny but deadly." Atori said. "But our newest member will make four and it will be more than enough."
"Would he really join you?" Chuck asked.
"If he knows what's good for you." Sweet Skulls smirked. Chuck clucked in fear.
Glargg suddenly got a call from Sweet Skulls.
"Guess who has your little chicken friend again!" She cackled.
"Not again!!!" Glargg shouted, angry at Chuck but even angrier at his captors.
"Yes, my new friends and I will give you a choice. Two things or nothing!" She glared. "I know deep down you want world domination just like us! Join us and you can get all the respect you want, from your mother, brother and everyone else. Don't… And the chicken gets it!" She turned the camera to Chuck who was at gunpoint with a laser blaster held by Atori.
"I'm not worth it! You're right, I'm a terrible student and a horrible person. You should just leave me…" Chuck's lip quivered. The camera turned off and Glargg was breathing heavily, Finley couldn't tell if it was anger or fear. Starley could tell it was both.
"Glargg?" Starley asked.
"Now you two really must stay here." Glargg said. "Your brother will be back."
"Do you really want to join them?" Finley asked.
Starley and Finley looked at each other sadly as Glargg began to leave."Glargg will make the right decision." Glargg whispered.
