Quelling Fears

Summary: Established Kurtbastian. Same 'world' as Quelling Doubts, does not need to be read in any particular order. Further details inside.

AN: Like the summary said, no particular order. This does take place in the timeline after Quelling Doubts but there's no cross-coverage between stories. They're just all little snippets into this world. Contained stories in this AU/AR. (At least this one is, can't make any promises for future stories). I purposefully left the summary 'empty' in this story. It's for me to know and you learn.

Chapter 1

Kurt was in the shower when Sebastian came into their dorm room. Sebastian grinned, kicking off his shoes and dumping his lacrosse gear next to them and started stripping off his shirt when he heard a beep. He had every intention of ignoring Kurt's phone sitting innocently and vulnerably on the desk near his side of the room. At any other given time, Sebastian would mess with Kurt and whoever was on the other end of the line. For now though, Sebastian had some muscles that he was looking forward to being massaged by his boyfriend in the already warmed water pouring from the shower head. The shower was so enticing, the sex that would surely take place was for once secondary. The shower though wouldn't be as tempting or complete without Kurt in there.

The phone beeped again. Sebastian rolled his eyes, Kurt was surely popular right now. Usually whoever wanted Kurt's attention so badly would just knock on the door. Knock but never just walk in. They knew better. Maybe it was someone from Lima. They could wait. Kurt wouldn't have answered right away anyway since he was in the shower. Though he would be delaying Kurt's exit for quite a bit of time... Maybe Kurt was waiting on a text?

Sebastian rolled his head around his shoulders and debated. When the phone beeped for the third time, he found his curiosity getting the better of him. Maybe it was Burt. Burt would require a little earlier of a response than for Sebastian and Kurt to finish getting it on.

Sebastian lifted the phone to see another message pop on the screen. He frowned. Who was Chandler?

He'd never heard the name before, not written nor Kurt talking about him. There were 8 missed messages from him in the last 20 minutes. That was a bit excessive. He'd have to talk to Kurt about that. Sebastian put the phone back down on the desk, smelled himself and grimaced. He really needed a shower.

He shucked off his bottoms and walked into the bathroom and slipping into the shower. Kurt's eyes were closed, face to the spray but he didn't even jump when Sebastian's hands came around him, pressing into the runoff with him. Kurt just sank back into his arms and moaned appreciatively and appropriately. Sebastian's mouth found the skin along Kurt's delicate neck bones.

Goosebumps pricked along Kurt's skin and tiny delicate hairs rose at the touch. Sebastian had ever intention of running his hands over inch, helping those hairs to settle back down again. He started with Kurt's hands, pressing them against the wall of the shower in front of him. Kurt moved easily and didn't mutter any sounds of protest, his feet moving in accordance without needing more guidance. He knew exactly what Sebastian was wanting and he moved for easier access.

Sebastian pumped some body wash into his hands, sliding his foamy hands up Kurt's arms, over his shoulders, down his back and one hand moved to Kurt's front while the other went further down his back, sliding into crevasses. He was just helping Kurt out, helping him make sure he got every spot cleaned.

Once Kurt started panting Sebastian's name in a chant and plead, Sebastian cleaned up himself somewhat, not wanting to transfer the field into Kurt. Then he slid in and helped Kurt get 'clean' even deeper in extremely hard to reach places.

His mouth was running, saying Kurt's name over and over again and then there were just sounds. A lot of different sounds from both of them.

Sebastian wrapped his arms around Kurt's waist and sagged against his back, they were both panting hard and Kurt had his eyes closed, soaking it all in. Sebastian rubbed his cheek against the back of Kurt's shoulder. Then he pressed a kiss to it and slowly pulled away. Kurt turned around to help Sebastian clean up. There would need to be one more run through both boys before they could leave the shower but the water did a great job washing away a lot of the surface mess.

Kurt frowned at Sebastian though when he finally caught sight of him. "What did you do? Roll around in the mud?" Dirt had caked every part of Sebastian, his light brown hair was now a ruddy brown. Now that he was wet, it was coming off him in rivets.

Sebastian laughed. "As good as. It was pretty dusty out there today and I got knocked onto my ass more than once."

Kurt shook his head and lathered his hands up with shampoo and worked at Sebastian's hair, not giving in until he got every flake of dirt and returned Sebastian's hair to it's regular color. He directed Sebastian's head under the spray and rubbed a cleaning agent meant for faces into Sebastian's skin and then worked over the rest of his body with a body soap. He got all the crevices that Sebastian had only been pretending to worry over. He ensured Sebastian was nice and clean by the time he was done. He was also hard again and Kurt was the one this time to work at deep, hidden places, helping Sebastian clean there too, by first making it messier.

Kurt didn't say anything about Sebastian being so dirty and touching him, ruining his shower because it hadn't mattered. They'd been in a shower, and Sebastian would never have risked Kurt's health. He took care of Kurt too and made sure he was clean in the places that mattered before touching him like that. His hands had been the cleanest part of him, save for a few other intimate anatomy areas. That was until Kurt rubbed him down with soap and water and a wash cloth.

Kurt pressed one more kiss to Sebastian's mouth before he got out of the shower. He had a few other routine things to do while Sebastian finished his shower. Sebastian turned off the water a few moments later, dried his body off and rubbed a towel into his hair before walking back to the main room. He pulled a pair of sweats on but nothing else and they hung low on his hips. He jumped into their bed and sat against the headboard on his side.

Kurt came out about a half hour later and Sebastian was trying really hard to focus on his book and not the phone across the room that kept beeping. He watched out of the corner of his eye as Kurt came into the room and eyed him, taking in and appreciating the boy on the bed. Then the phone caught his attention as it beeped again and he walked over to it. He groaned hard when he saw the messages.

"Problem?" Sebastian asked lightly. He was appreciating Kurt's walk and silk pajamas hugging his body too.

"It's this stupid guy." Kurt announced and crawled on his knees over the bed and settling into Sebastian's side, more than happy to share. Sebastian didn't even have to pry or accuse.

He didn't act like he didn't know about him though. They were always inherently honest with each other. "Chandler?"

"Yeah." Kurt didn't even blink about the fact that Sebastian knew his name.

"I saw it flash across the screen a few times when I walked in." Sebastian pressed a kiss onto the top of Kurt's head. He was not jealous or worried in the slightest. Kurt was all his and would always be. Kurt didn't have time to step out and he never would, it just wasn't him. He did open the door for Kurt to tell him about Chandler. He didn't even wonder why Kurt hadn't told him about him before. He was sure there was a perfectly reasonable explanation, which Kurt shared now.

"I met him last weekend. It wasn't even really a thing. I would have probably have forgotten about him if he hadn't been texting me so much." It was only Monday. "I regret giving him my number."

"Why did you?" There was no accusation in his tone, just pure curiosity.

"I met him in Lima." That much was obvious, Kurt had gone home over the weekend. "He was complimenting me on my clothes and you know how susceptible I am to people who understand good fashion."

Sebastian chuckled, far too aware of how Kurt could forget about everything but the conversation if someone happened to compliment him when they went out. Sebastian had just sat back and watched the few times it happened.

"He said he was going to be in New York next year, attending NYU. He thought it would be nice to have a familiar Ohio face that could meet up with on occasion, reminisce about things that no one else could understand if they weren't from this state." Kurt's lips twisted. "I never explained that I was at a private school and didn't really get to see much of Ohio as I was spending most of my time in New York during breaks with my boyfriend, his family and some other friends originally from the area. I didn't see the harm. It's nice to have friends from different background and it never hurts to have another person you know in a city that big."

Sebastian tightened his arm in an offer of comfort. "Something changed your mind?"

"It started out innocently enough. He seemed sane." Kurt handed his phone over to Sebastian. He knew his pin, they knew each others'. "Then the texts just went into the absurd. He's throwing all these cheeky one-liners, mostly pick up lines my way just near constantly now. I don't know what to do."

"Do you mind if I handle it?" Sebastian asked, unlocking the phone, finding the culprit and spinning the wheel back to the beginning to see the descent into madness himself. He snorted a few times. "Are you missing this kind of thing from our relationship? Is this something I should be doing?"

"No." Kurt hated things like that, he liked gossip and discussions about topics and other things but Chandler's texts were just pointless. He hadn't responded once Chandler started doing it. What would have even happened if Kurt did respond? Or try to direct the conversation elsewhere?

So, Sebastian took care of it in a very Sebastian-like way. He sent Chandler a very nasty worded text to knock it off or he'd have to go and find the boy and knock out his teeth. He signed it 'Kurt's boyfriend' just to drive the point home. It made it seem like Sebastian was a very possessive and jealous boyfriend. Kurt laughed and snuggled in closer. It was the furthest from the truth. Sebastian trusted him completely.

"Thanks."

"Let's see if it works before you thank me."

Kurt shrugged and reached for his phone, deleting the number and the entire conversation chain. "Good riddance. If he doesn't stop, I'll just block him."

Sebastian nodded. "Oh Kurt, your eyes are brighter than any stars I can see in my telescope. Can I use them to light my way through the dark?" He said with a sing-songy tone.

Kurt reached for one of Sebastian's nipples and twisted it painfully. "Stop it, out loud it sounds even creepier."

Sebastian batted Kurt's hand away but they shared a laugh. "Some of them were pretty good." Sebastian said after a moment and Kurt lifted a brow. "What, they were at least original in some cases."

"Don't use them on me, please." Kurt begged and Sebastian shrugged, he'd never needed them before, it wasn't part of their relationship. He didn't feel the need to start it now.
