I am back with another PnF fanfic. It may be rare for me to go back to this fandom, but I thought of this idea and decided to try it.
PnF do not belong to me, just PJ and Winnie.
"Wrench." Phineas requested as he looked under the hood of his wife's car. Isabella was out with her friends on this gorgeous Saturday and had asked for her husband to help trick out her car. Phineas had suggested instead that they go to the dealership to get a new one for her, but Isabella wouldn't budge. She had been attached to her old purple car ever since her mother purchased it for her before she left for college.
Phineas' son PJ sat on a stool next to him, holding Phineas' toolbox. PJ was more than happy to help out his father, especially since Phineas was incredibly busy on the weekdays and Saturdays were the one opportunity a week for PJ to spend time with his father.
That, and PJ wanted to kiss up before making a bold request. PJ pulled out a perfectly sized wrench and handed it over to Phineas.
Phineas had tightened the one final bold. "There, that should do it." He put the hood down before giving his son a smile. "Thanks for the hand, pal." He said, ruffling his son's hair before walking through the door and into the kitchen.
PJ hurriedly set the toolbox down before following his father toward the kitchen. "Um, Dad, can I ask you something?"
Phineas glanced over at his son as he rummaged through the fridge for some juice. "What is it?"
PJ smiled nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Well...can I go out tonight with Xavier, Fred, and Winnie?"
Phineas froze as he reached for a glass. He was silent for a moment before letting out a rambunctious laugh and simply saying. "No."
PJ's mouth was agape as he retaliated. "What do you mean 'no'?"
Phineas just poured himself some orange juice from a small carton. "I mean 'no'."
"Why not?"
"Because one, you and Winnie are both 10, and your other cousins are 11, so I'm pretty sure you Uncle Ferb, Aunt Candace, and Uncle Jeremy wouldn't allow them to go out at night anyway. Two, this just proved you only helped me in order to pry something out of it, which I find very disappointing."
PJ's expression softened a bit as he realized his father wasn't as naive as he thought he was. But in his defense, what can he expect from his dad? PJ heard his father never realized his mother had a crush on him until college.
He then spoke up. "Come on, Dad. You can set up any cur(few and I will obey. Please!" PJ had his fingers interlocked together as he pleaded with his father using his eyes.
Phineas took a sip of his beverage before giving PJ his answer. "No."
Growling furiously, PJ turned his back and stormed off. He was thinking his flipping the bird at his father but figured that would get him in a whole lot of trouble. He just wanted to get out of there and live his life, not be stuck in his house all day with his nagging parents. He needed to devise a plan. A plan that was foolproof.
He darted up the stairs and into his room. He fetched his phone and sat on his bed, texting his cousin Winnie.
(PJ) Hey, bad news. My dad won't let me go out tonight
He waited for about a minute before Winnie replied.
(Winnie) Ugh, my dad won't let me go either. Saying something like how I am 10 years old and shouldn't even go out at night to begin with.
(PJ) How come these two think alike
(Winnie) Peej, they were raised under the same roof
(PJ) Fair enough
It was at that moment when an idea pop up in PJ's mind. He smiled excitedly as he texted again.
(PJ) Let's sneak out!
(Winnie) PJ! Are you insane?! Your parents will kill you if they catch you! Hell, my dad will obliterate me if I even thought of doing such a deed
(PJ) Listen, tonight is date night for both my parents, along with Aunt Candace and Uncle Jeremy! This is a perfect opportunity for me!
(Winnie) Peej, I'm sorry, but no. Please don't.
PJ was growing irritated with his goody two-shoed cousin. It was not like they were committing any crimes sneaking out just to have fun, right?
(PJ) Winnie, this is my opportunity to have a blast. If you're with me, great. If not, so be it!
(Winnie) No thank you. Have fun getting grounded until college.
PJ rolled his eyes before dialing Fred's phone number. After a few rings, his cousin answered.
"What's up Peej?"
"Hey, did your parents say yes to going out tonight?"
Fred sighed. "No...but tonight is date night for them, so..."
"You read my mind!" PJ laughed. "Does Xavier have that engined powered bike ready!"
"Yep, he even extended a seat for more passengers, but we can't fit a fourth person behind him."
"That's fine. Winnie sort of backed out from this when I told her our plan."
Fred chuckled. "That's Winnie alright. Well, I guess it will just be X, you, and me."
"Let's do this!" PJ announced but lowered his voice in case his father was listening.
Throughout the entire day, PJ pretended to have accepted his father's decision for him not to go out in order to decrease any suspicion that he was onto something. When his mother came home that day, PJ sat with her and Phineas on the couch as they watched some TV, with PJ sparking a humorous conversation here and there. He was now certain his parents had no idea that he was going to sneak out on them.
He even dropped by at his Uncle Ferb's to help him with any maintenance to his car. Winnie watched with eagle eyes as PJ laughed with her father. She knew PJ better and was too smart to not realize he was only getting on his uncle's good side in case of something. As PJ walked into the Fletcher kitchen to fetch himself some of his uncle's famous crumpets, Winnie walked over to him to give her cousin a piece of her mind.
"You know, you are still not going to get away with this," Winnie said with a scowl as she crossed her arms, leaning against the table.
PJ rolled his eyes as he opened the fridge to fetch himself some milk to go with his crumpets.
"Let's just say there is a charm when it comes to my way of lying." He gloated.
"Trust me, you shouldn't do this...you're going to get caught."
PJ decided not to argue with his cousin. He just shut the fridge begrudgingly and stormed off. Winnie took pleasure in how riled up PJ was getting, and she had a feeling karma would soon bite him in the rear end.
Once the sun finally set, PJ was in his room when his mother called him downstairs to say goodnight before she and Phineas would head out with Jeremy and Candace.
PJ went downstairs and found his mother looking into a mirror in the living room, wearing a sparkly red strapless dress. Her hair was tied into a bun and she looked as if she was ready for prom.
Isabella turned over and smiled at her son. PJ snorted as he spoke. "You look great, Mom."
Isabella cooed as she leaned over and kissed her son's head. "Thank you, honey. We'll be back shortly. Also, thank you so much for helping your father out earlier today. There is some cash on the kitchen table if you want to order pizza as a reward."
PJ grinned. "Thanks, Mom."
Just then, the constant honking from the driveway outside began to irritate Isabella. She grabbed her purse and opened the front door. "Love you." She spoke, waving at her son.
"Bye Mom. Love you too."
Once she was out of the house, PJ rushed over to the window and watched as his parents drove off with his aunt and uncle in the backseat. He grinned as he pulled out his phone and texted both Xaiver and Fred.
(PJ) Let's do this!
(Xavier) Driving toward your location as we speak
Xavier was true to his words. PJ waited outside of his house and within 10 minutes, a Xavier pulled up his motorbike by the Flynn Residence, with Fred behind him. The seat had enough room for PJ to hop aboard. He sat behind Fred as the auburn-haired kid spoke.
"X, hit it!"
Xavier began to warm up his bike once against before driving off with his cousins. They should have known to be wearing helmets, but they were just too psyched about the night they didn't care.
"Where are we heading?" PJ asked.
"Soda Club," Xavier answered.
PJ grinned. Soda Club was the new joint for teens, typically for high school aged kids. It was like a normal club, but with just typical teenagers trying to have fun, and instead of serving alcohol, the Soda Club had every single soda available from all around the world.
The ride to the club was long, just about 20 minutes. The three embarked in a conversation about school, work, and their parents. They laughed at a few stories but then sighed at the bittersweet memories they had when they were younger. While he was driving, Xavier looked around for any cops that would most likely be suspicious as to why three kids are speeding through the streets this late at night.
Once they made it to the club, Xavier parked near the entrance as he, his brother, and his cousin all hopped off his bike. Once they reached the entrance, they came across a muscular bouncer who stood between them and fun.
He narrowed his eyes at the three. "Where are your IDs, kids? You look underage."
Xavier raised his eyebrow. "Underage? What do you mean? Isn't this a club for kids."
"You still have to be at least 13 to come in."
Both of the Johnson brothers furrowed their eyebrows in concern. PJ then glanced back at them and spoke with a smile.
"Don't worry, I got it." He said. He looked up at the bouncer and gave him three ID cards, which were obviously fake. PJ had a feeling he needed those in case someone were to ask questions on this night. He managed to create 4 fake IDs of him, Winnie, Fred, and Xavier the previous week, and now they were put to good use. He handed the three cards to the bouncers, who examined them closely before nodding his head.
"You may come in." He said, stepping out of the way for the three to enter. Xavier and Fred both gave each other grins before walking in with PJ.
The club was packed with people dancing to the beat of the music. Xavier went to the bar to fetch sodas for him and the others, while Fred and PJ took over the dance floor. There was a conga line of people marching around the room, and Fred took lead, with PJ and Xavier behind him. The entire night was a blast for them. For the next two hours, it was just them dancing to the music, jumping around with the other patrons, and getting sugar high from soda.
PJ sat at the booth with Xavier, exhausted from dancing too long. "No regrets. Absolutely no regrets!" He exclaimed happily. Xavier chuckled as he raised his bottle of orange soda.
"To a good night."
PJ nodded as he picked up his bottle and raised it. "To a good night." They clinked their bottles together before chugging them. They then watched as Fred was dancing with two other girls.
"That dude was always a ladies' man," Xavier said, snorting a chuckle.
"Yup, and you know what Winnie said to me earlier today. 'Oh, PJ, you're going to get caught. Your parents are going to be disappointed blah blah blah!'"
Xavier let out a laugh as PJ put up a high-pitched voice to mock their green-haired cousin.
Sadly, it had to come to an end. People began to exit the club as the owner announced it was closing time. The boys exited the buildings, all elated after the night they just had. Just as they approached Xavier's motorbike, PJ felt his phone vibrating. He picked it up and his smile soon fell as he found out it was his dad calling him. He looked at the time and saw that it was almost 11 o'clock.
PJ trembled in fear, but then he heard Fred speak up. "Hey, PJ! What's up?"
"Uh..." PJ stammered a bit before shaking his head. "Nothing."
"Well then, hop in!"
The phone stopped ringing as PJ walked over toward them. He then heard his phone ping and checked to find a message from his father.
(Phineas) WHERE ARE YOU?!
PJ gulped but didn't say anything as he hopped onto the motorbike, right behind Fred. As Xavier drove off, PJ could only imagine what was awaiting him once they make it back home. He was going to lose his freedom for the rest of his life. He couldn't believe how stupid he was not to check the time. Now he was going to be grounded forever. Worst of all...Xavier and Fred were dragged into this. If Phineas and Isabella were to be home, then chances are Jeremy and Candace are at their house right now, wondering where their two sons are. He needed to let them know.
"Um, I should let you guys know that my dad...just tried to call me. He knows I snuck out."
"WHAT?!" Both Fred and Xavier screeched simultaneously.
"Let's just go home..."
"Aw, man..." Fred moaned. Xavier decided to speed his way through the streets, taking both his brother and cousin aback by his urgency.
"Xavier, slow down," PJ warned.
"I can't! Our parents are home and we are caught! We might as well make it there before they call the police for them to find us!"
"Well, it's not like they will-"
Then, a force struck the motorbike head-on, launching all three boys upwards off the bike. They traveled in the air before both Xavier and Fred landed hard on the grass.
Xavier moaned from where he was as he fluttered his eyes open. Blood was oozing from the back of his head. He only managed to catch a glimpse of his brother coughing up blood from where he was before glancing over to the street.
Fred painfully looked up at his brother, clutching his stomach "Xavier?"
"Yeah," he then saw PJ laying on the street, out like a light.
"PJ..."
