One Year Later

Kara was looking through the couch cushions for her phone "Barry, have you seen my phone anywhere?" she asked her boyfriend Barry Allen who came out of the room dressed up for work. "No. Where was the last place you had it?" he asked as Kara sighs before standing up from where she's been going through the cushions of the couch, "I don't know that's why….wait I found it." she said, holding it up with a smile as Barry shook his head with amusement.

He came over and grabbed her hand pulling her into him as he kissed her. They pulled away, "Have I ever told you how amazing you are?" he asked as Kara wrapped her arms around his neck before tilting her head, "Not this morning you haven't." she said as Barry smiled.

"You are amazing babe." he said as Kara smiled humming, satisfied as she kissed him before pulling away. "Now, go before you're late." she said, shoving him away gently as Barry let out a chuckle before going to the door, he then stopped and sped towards Kara and stilling one last kiss before pulling away, "I love you." he told her his hand was on her cheek and she leaned into his touch.

"I love you too. Now go before I take you there myself." she threatened with a smile as Barry held up his hand in surrender as he smiled before leaving the apartment closing the door behind him. After a few minutes of looking at where Barry was at, she grabbed her purse and her coat before leaving the apartment, locking it behind her before being on her way.

While walking to work in the sunny Central City, Kara began to think of how she came to this point in her life. It has been a year since she had found herself on Earth-1 with no memory of how she got here or what happened before the breach. After a few months of being in denial about not going home or remembering, after some good crying and thinking about what her life's gonna be like, she had finally come to terms with the fact that she could probably never remember or ever go had tried to make a breach to her Earth but something was blocking him and the team doesn't know what.

So she made a life for herself with the help of Felicity who created documents and papers along with some ID and money from the help of the Mayor of Star City Oliver Queen who had heard of her predicament and offered to help in anyway he can, same goes for the Legends who made sure that Kara being on Earth-1 doesn't mess up the timeline. She often thought about her friends and family back on her earth.

Did they think she was dead? Were they looking for her? She doesn't know and probably never will. During the weeks that followed her arrival, her and Barry had confessed their feelings for each other and are now happily dating. She looked to see a billboard with a photo of her and Barry in their suits plastered for the whole city to see. With the caption in bold letters "SuperFlash" in Gold and blue writing and smiling.

When she finds out that she's gonna be staying on this earth, Cisco has made her a suit along with a mask. Her suit was like Barry's with the fabric and the tech inside to monitor their vital signs. Kara's suit was a white body suit instead of a skirt (Season 5 suit but white instead of blue) with a mask that looked more like Jesse's but was white. But she has been feeling sick in the mornings, she thought it was the stress of dealing with not going home again, but then she looked it up and she felt her heart stop. Could she really be pregnant?

She was brought out of her thoughts when she bumped into someone making them drop their stuff, "Oh I'm so sorry," Kara said as she got down and helped the person pick up their papers. "It's no problem. Guess both of us should watch where we're going." said the woman as they stood up and Kara finally looked at the woman, her eyes widened and she froze as she felt her heart drop because the woman in front of her was Alex her sister, she felt tears in her eyes just by thinking her. "Uh, are you okay Ma'am?" the woman asked, snapping Kara out of her trance and let out a forced smile, "Yeah. Sorry, it's just you remind me of someone I used to know." she said doing everything in her power to not hug the woman.

Alex nodded, "Well, she seems like a wonderful person if she made you cry." she commented as she smiled, making Kara chuckle and handed the papers to the woman. "I'm sorry for running into you again." she said as the woman shook her head, "No worries. Have a good day." said the woman walking away.

Kara sniffed and wiped her eyes as she continued her way towards work. She had just met her sister's doppelganger. She knew that it wasn't really her sister, but she couldn't help but feel the need to hug the woman but she restrained herself because she didn't wanna make things awkward. She was so deep in her thoughts that the next thing she knew, she was arriving at her job as she stopped by the door trying to wipe the remaining signs of tears she shed while walking here.

She looked at the mirror-like wall that was outside and saw that she looked presentable as she nodded and walked inside the building. She was a reporter at CCPN (Central City Picture News) . Iris had helped her get a job after telling the woman how she was a reporter back on her earth. She found Iris instantly and sat down at her desk that was across from Iris, "Hey Iris." she greeted as she set her things down before sitting in her chair.

Iris looked up and noticed Kara had been crying by her red eyes, "Morning Kara. What's wrong? You looked like you saw a ghost." she said as Kara looked up and wiped her eyes, "I…uh...I did." she said as she took a deep breath.

Iris reached her hand and covered up Kara's, "What happened Kara?" Iris asked as the blonde woman took a deep breath, "Alex. I saw her doppleganger." she said, making Iris' heart ache and sigh, "Oh Kara. That must've been hard wasn't it?" she asked as Kara nodded.

"It took everything in me to not hug her. I know she's not really my sister but ..."she stopped as she sighs. Iris squeezed the woman's hand in comfort. "It'll be okay. It's been a year, Kara. It takes time to get over your old life. But you know that I am here and team flash is here as well." she said as Kara nodded and smiled. "You're right. Thank you" she said as she and Iris got to work.

Later that night

It was 10:30 at night, Kara and Barry were taking a nightly stroll through Central Park in Central City. They were walking on the sidewalk by the lake, after work Kara decided to take a test and now she was thinking on how to tell Barry the news "Kara." he called as he stopped making her stop as well and look at him. "You okay?" he asked with concern. Iris had told him what had happened. How Kara had met the doppelganger of her sister. "I heard about you running into your sister's doppelganger." he said as he brought them over to a bench as he sat down bringing her with him as Kara sat next him and sighs.

"It...it took everything in me to not hug the woman." she started as she looked down before looking out in the distance, "I know she's not my sister, but, I just can't help but have the urge to hug her, but I couldn't because she wasn't really my sister." she said as a lone tear made its way down her face as Barry took his hand and gently wiped the tear with his finger.

Barry sighs, "Kara, look at me." he said as Kara looked at him with watery eyes, "It's okay to miss them you know. I know it's only been a year but it's okay to miss them." he said as he pulled Kara into a hug as she returned it. "Everything will be okay Kara. It just takes time. But everything will be okay." he whispered comforting her as he tightened his hold on her. "I'm sorry Kara. But it will get better." he told her.

Kara nodded as she took a deep breath, now is a good time to tell him. Tell him the news. "Barry, there's something you should know." she said as she took his hands and looked into his eyes, "I…...I'm pregnant." she whispered as Barry's eyes widened and then he smiled, "P...Pregnant? W...were having a baby?" he whispered with tears in his eyes as Kara nodded with a smile.

Barry kissed her as Kara kissed back wrapped her arms around his neck as Barry wrapped his around her waist. He can feel her tears on his face, they were gonna be parents. The sound of a phone ringing ruined the moment as Barry groaned as Kara held in a giggle and smiled as Barry reached for his phone and put it to his ear, "What is it Cisco?" He was annoyed at being interrupted and listened to what his friend had to say. He let out a sigh and nodded his head "I'm on my way." he said, hanging up as he looked at Kara.

"It's Oliver. He needs back up." he said as Kara nodded, "I'll come with you." she replied as he looked at her, "Are you sure?" he asked worried about the baby as Kara nodded.

"I'll be okay Barry. I promise." she told him as she grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze. He nodded and both of them sped back to the lab where their suits were stored and then flying/running towards Star City.

Star City

Damien Darhk was holding team Arrow with his magic as black veins slowly made their way up the hero's faces, "Pitty, this would've been over a lot sooner." he said as the team were slowly feeling the life drain out of them. Just then a pair of blue beams made contact on the ground, startling Damien making him release the group that was gasping for air on the ground.

He looked up and saw a floating blonde woman with glowing eyes, "You're right about one thing. It's over." she said as she landed on the sidewalk making it crack under her feet.

"Who the hell are you?" he asked as Kara shrugged, "Nobody that concerns you." she said as she sped over and pushed him hard sending him flying into a cargo container. Damien groaned as he got up, "Well, that was impressive. Try to outmatch this." he said as he held his hand and Kara found she couldn't move, she felt her lungs closing up making her gasp for air, she felt her energy being drained and fell to her knees she can hear Barry yelling out her name, she looked at Darhk, she had never felt this much pain before. She looked to see Barry was being held by Damien as well and she watched as black veins slowly made their way up his face. She felt a lone tear making it's way down her face, she needed to save him. Not just for her. For her child.

With that in mind, he closed her eyes and groaned in pain as she tried to move causing her body to shake and blood slowly leaked out of her nose as she finally stood up. "No...No matter how strong you are, there is something far stronger than you!" Kara shouted as she looked at Darhk taking another step, and another step, her body felt like it was crushed by a planet with every step she took towards the magic user.

Kara was halfway towards Darhk but then his magic increased: causing the hero to fall on her knees and scream in pain as she saw black dots around her vision. Kara felt like her whole body was going to explode.

"How are you this strong?" Darhk shouted as he threw the unconscious speedster to the floor along with team arrow who was recovering from the man's magic watched the scene in worry as Darhk used both hands to push magic onto Kara.

Kara groaned as she gathered as much strength as she could and stood up on shaky legs as she thought about his question: How is she this strong? Well it's not hard to answer, Kara began to think about Barry, her child and their future together and she wants that more than anything "BECAUSE, I'M NOT FIGHTING FOR ME." she yelled out as Kara screamed and blasted her heat vision at full blast at Darhk; sending him flying backwards. Darhk was knocked out unconscious the moment he hit a nearby lamp post.

"Holy Shit" Speedy complimented as Kara fell towards the floor but Barry was there in a flash catching her, "Whoa! Hey I gotcha." he whispered as he picked her up bridal style. Barry then looked towards the team before nodding as he sped away with Kara.

Team Arrow all got up on their feet, "Guess there is something far stronger than Darhk's magic after all." Dig commented as Oliver pulled his hood down and nodded.

"Let's take care of Darhk and get back to the lair, then we are gonna take a trip to Central City." he said as the team all nodded in agreement.

Central City-The Next Day

It was morning, Barry and Kara laid in bed wrapped in eachothers arms as her head rested on his chest. Her body ached after her fight with Darhk last night, and she can't figure out what made her hurt so much. Apparently the guy had powers but nothing like this, "Barry, who was that guy we were fighting last night?" she asked, wondering if Barry could tell her.

Barry sighs, "His name is Damien Darhk and no he doesn't have powers. I mean he does just, not the kind of powers me and you are used to." he said as his arm tightened around her just thinking about last night, "His powers are Magic Kara. Dark Magic." he said as Kara's eyes widened before sitting up with a winced, "Magic?" she asked as she looked at him.

"Yes Kara. Magic." he confins as he sits up and scoots over to Kara, "You need to lay down and rest. You're still hurting." he said worried about her and the effect the magic had on the baby. Kara shook her head, "I'm okay Barry. Yes, I'm a little sore but nothing I can't handle. Don't worry, okay?" she said as Barry sighs and nodded.

Before she could get out Barry carefully cupped her face with his hands and kissed her on the lips. "Just take it easy for today huh? For me?" he asked Kara nodded. "For you." she replied as she kissed him back before she pulled away and slowly got out of the bed and slowly made her way to the bathroom to get ready for the day.

Barry takes a deep breath as he det's up from the bed and goes to the kitchen to make some breakfast. While he was getting the ingredients, he couldn't help but think about last night. The effect the magic will have on the baby. How Kara was still sore. Will Kara be okay? He rubs the sleep out of his eyes as he gets ready to make breakfast. For now he can forget about last night and make his lovely girlfriend (soon to be fiancé) some breakfast.
