Ash scrolled through his social media feed, hoping to find some entertaining content that would cure his boredom. He glanced at the clock in the living room, waiting for the clock to strike 3 PM for his usual sparring session with Korrina. His state of boredom was quickly dispelled by Rockruff who jumped onto the couch next to him. The adorable puppy wag its tail and curled next to him for warmth and companionship, causing Ash to chuckle and pat its fur in a soothing manner. With Dawn and Misty off to their respective club activities, Ash was alone in the house with only Rockruff accompanying him. It was surprising that Dawn decided to pick up cheerleading again, but given that many of her clubmates persuaded her to stay, it wasn't really surprising. Friends are what makes or breaks a good club experience.
The Kanto native stroke the back of the rock type pokemon and reflected on their Spring Festival experience. Despite the harrowing and traumatic on the first day, the 3 of them managed to salvage the rest of their holiday and enjoy their time together. They visited all the different shrines and temples in Eterna city, ate all the amazing street food and even had the chance to walk through the rolling field of flowers that host a wide array of colours and patterns. Dawn was keen on exploring the city, though she and Misty never wonder far from Ash considering he did something unspeakable to them.
Something unforgivable, something despicable, it was treason of the highest order.
He held their hands.
Ash didn't know what came over him, maybe it was the heartfelt conversation they had the night before. But Ash feeling was feeling extra protective and assertive for those few days. Throughout their exploration around the city, Ash had held Dawn and Misty's hand firmly, pretty much linking them to him. He's paranoia of losing Dawn or Misty was merely an excuse to justify his own actions, he simply just went to held their hands because it felt right. Worse still, the two didn't even mind or questioned him whenever he grasped their hands out of the blue, in fact they welcome it.
Unfortunately, such newfound closeness between the 3 of them did raise some questions. Screw that, it raise a ton of questions for Ash.
He knew that the 2 of them felt something for him, Dawn more so than Misty. The subtle eye contact during their walks together, the special treatment to him during dinner and the physical closeness whenever they are taking pictures of the different shrines and temples. Dawn thought he was dense but he did catch on to the cues she was giving him, and in all honesty he wasn't sure how he can return the gesture or in this case, feelings.
Misty on the other hand was not much better than Dawn. She had punched his shoulder more often, leaned towards his body at any chance she can get and was even audacious enough to ask him to join Dawn and her for a dip in the mix bath. Just the mere thought already made Ash's cheeks flushed red because yes, he did accept her generous invitation and entered the hots springs with his 2 hot roommates. He thought back to the lovely hot spring session he had with the girls, a scene similar to the typical hot spring episode you will find in an anime.
The warm steam rising from the hot waters and the sound of the gushing river from the nearby forest really made the experience all the more authentic. Initially, Ash didn't even dared to open his eyes when he entered the springs. He merely stood in the middle like an idiot while Dawn and Misty already submerged themselves into the blessed waters, giving a satisfied sigh when they enter it.
Which didn't help his situation one bit.
"Ash come on in." Dawn spoke in a cheeky tone, because she damn well knew what effect she and Misty had over him. Between his inability to think properly and his legs not moving forward, he only stuttered his words out like a fool. He conjured up some lame excuse, anything really to get himself out of this situation.
"Uh maybe you all can finish then I come in?" Misty chuckled before swimming her way towards the edge of the spring. The sound of the water swishing was all he could hear and as he slowly opened his eyes, he was greeted with the marvelous sight of Misty and Dawn's upper body being exposed, displaying their smooth pale skin to him. Despite the humid and hot environment, Ash was frozen solid when Misty rested her head on her arms near the edge of the onsen. If she pushed up any further, Ash was certain he could see her breast.
"What's the point of an onsen if we aren't sharing it?" Damn, she had a point and Ash knew it. She was pushing him to a corner and he had a choice to either wuss out like a idiot, or he accepts his fate and join the girls. So with a reluctant nod, Ash who still had his modesty towel decided to slowly submerge himself into the tranquil waters, staring at Dawn and Misty who grinned at him.
"See? Wasn't that hard right?" It was hard, painfully so.
"This is nice." For a moment, he forgotten his nervousness being around naked girls and started to relax his muscles. He felt the effects of the warm waters onto his skin and started to sink himself deeper into the hot spring. As they watched Ash finally relaxed himself around them, Dawn took the oppurtunity to scoot closer to him. With her hair tied up into a ponytail, she felt her face flushed when she have a clear view of Ash's muscles and the scars he sustained from the Braviary. Oh if you're wondering about his recent injuries, his wound were fully closed thanks to the aid of Audinos and Chansies from the local pokemon center.
"We got this place all to ourselves, so just relax." Ash almost jumped out of the water when he noticed how close Dawn was to him. Amidst the steam coming from the onsen, he could see the water droplets glistening on her bare shoulders and her face flushed from the heat. Why he was so observant was quite obvious given he was literally naked with two hot girls.
'Calm down Ash, calm down.' He felt like he could pass out at any moment given that Dawn and Misty was fully naked next to him, and were pretty much sitting next to him. He dearly hoped that their hands do not wonder far from their bodies, and he didn't need to explain why.
While his mind was in a foggy state, Ash looked at the sky above him to clear his head. The open air onsen was a rare sight since most indoor hot springs have a roof over it. However, their inn's onsen was located nearby the forest where the fresh waters from the snowy mountains come gushing down. It was almost therapeutic to watch the cold wasters gushing downwards to the river, with the dense towering trees and smooth rocks surrounding them.
"Today is our last day." Misty spoke quietly, disappointed that their time together in Eterna City have to end so quickly. She gave a surprised yet undeniably cute yelp when Ash splashed some water at her, chuckling at her displeased expression soon after.
"Don't be so down Misty, let's just enjoy every second of this." The redhead sighed but nodded nevertheless, she glanced at Dawn and smiled at how close she was to Ash despite the spacious room. The trio sat in silence, listening to the nearby rivers running down hill with the distant Starlies chirping about.
The young Ketchum finally snapped back from his thoughts, he was reliving his onsen experience with the girls a bit too much. He scratched the back of his neck before glancing at the clock, realizing that he actually late for sparring session with Korrina, 5 minutes late to be exact. He quickly went to his room and grabbed his jacket before waving good bye to the Rockruff who was docile and obedient. It didn't feel right to confine the little one in this apartment, but it would raise too much questions if an Alolan pokemon is let wondering on its own in Sinnoh.
"Misty and Dawn will be back soon. Be a good boy alright?" Giving a headpat to the rock type, Ash finally left the apartment and make his way towards the school grounds.
"Korrina!" The Kalos blonde waved hello to Ash as she skated towards Ash with her Riolu perched on top of her helmet. How he managed to balance himself on Korrina's head was a mystery, but it was nice to see the two again.
"Hey Ash, how was your holiday in Eterna city?" Ash smiled and felt the gentle breeze of the wind, his Pikachu was exchanging his greetings with Korrina's Riolu who waved his stubby little paws back to the electric rodent.
"It was great, how did you know we went to Eterna for the Spring festival?" Ash was taken by surprise that Korrina knew went on a holiday. Did Dawn or Misty told her? Maybe they were bragging about it before leaving.
"Dawn posted on her Insta." Ah that explains it. As someone who rarely open his Insta, he can't say he share Dawn's passion for posting their daily life on a phone.
"The festival was great, the cherry blossom bloom was incredible." Korrina sighed before she kicked a small pebble on the ground rather childishly.
"Aww man I wished I was there, I would like to go on a trip with all of you one day." That would be nice, to hang out with the girls as they talked about random stuff.
"The 6 of us can plan for a trip, it doesn't have to be far." Even within Jubilife city would be fine in all honesty. It's not the destination, it's the journey. Cheesy but hey! Friends are what made the travelling experience fun.
"That's right, we can go on a fun trip between friends. Maybe during the upcoming school holidays?" Ash scratched his shoulders, he didn't particularly like the fact he was blowing his budget on expensive trips between friends.
"Maybe." If he wanted to make this trip work, he would need to find a part time job.
"Alright enough chit chat, let's get our training started." Korrina stood before at Ash and placed his Riolu down on the ground. It did some kicks and punches into the air in an attempt to get his blood running.
"Right at ya." Ash let Pikachu jumped off his shoulders, landing in all fours. It stared at his opponent and felt pumped that he gets to battle Riolu again. Despite their numerous sparring session, they two of them have been relatively even in terms of their score.
"Today I thought we can improve on your Pikachu's defensive moves." Ash blinked, he crossed his arms and stared at his starter who was as surprised as he was.
"Why is that?" Korrina placed her hand on her hip, staring at the adorable electric mouse.
"Your Pikachu is very offensive based. He relies on his speed and agility to evade attacks. But if he is trapped in a corner with no room for evading, it is a guaranteed knocked out for him. So I thought my Riolu can help Pikachu learned some defensive moves, it might come in handy!" Ash gave a slow nod, Pikachu's reliance on speed had made him quite predictable. Pokemon attacks and moves that limit his ability to maneuverer around the battlefield freely such as Spikes or Smog is pretty much a game over for Pikachu.
"That's true, I relied on his speed way too much huh. Alright, so what do you have in mind? Pikachu doesn't learn that many defensive moves." Korrina grinned and pointed her index finger out.
"Light screen." He knew it, Light Screen is one of the few defensive moves the Pikachu line knows. However, it is notoriously hard to master given Pikachu needs mentoring and tutoring as it's mental powers aren't as good as the other pokemon. Psychic, Dark and Ghost types has it easy for them.
"Somehow I knew you will say that." Pikachu looked at his trainer, wondering how on earth would he learn Light Screen. He had seen that move in action before, as it's basically a barrier that protects him from attacks. Not exactly he preferred method of evading an attack but he was willing to give it a try.
"Riolu here can help Pikachu master his mental prowess. Let's leave them be for the moment and not disturb them." Ash felt Korrina lead him away from the two pokemon. Her Riolu was ushering Pikachu to mediate with him to heighten his state of mind.
"Not exactly what I have in mind when you invited me to spar with you." The two walked off towards the nearby park, yet it wasn't far enough to lose sight of their two pokemon. It was fortunate that the school allowed them to bring their pokemon outside of the school compounds, even if it was momentarily. The fresh air of the park and the lush green grass as a treat to the pokemon.
"Its not like we can help Pikachu to learn Light Screen anyway, he has to concentrate." Normally Ash would be by Pikachu side, giving him words of encouragement to improve himself. Whether it is endurance training or learning a new battle strategy, Ash would be always by his starter side. It felt alien to be away from him, even if it was just for a moment.
"So you brought me out to have a talk?" Korrina placed her hand behind her back, skating forward as she shrugged.
"I guess? I don't know, we haven't seen each other for quite some time right? Thought we can catch up." She was being awfully nonchalant with him, which was out of character for the usual bright and energetic girl. Still, he did appreciate her effort to spend time with him.
Even if she used their training session as an excuse to meet up.
"So how did you spend your holidays?" It was a good conversation starter for Ash, he was genuine curious what Korrina did for her holidays.
"Skating, watching movies and reading some books. Not much in all honesty." That's sound really comfy though, to be able to do your hobbies and relax is something no one should take for granted. That being said, Ash knew that Korrina didn't spend her holidays alone.
"How about Bea? Isn't she staying with you?" At the mention of the Galar native, Korrina nodded as she did a little twirl in front of Ash, showing off her skating skills to him.
"She's been wonderful, we got to hangout a lot. But Bea is such a workaholic, I wish she can relax and chill once in a while." Bea's constant strive for improvement had made her an excellent student and trainer, but that also resulted in her inability to take a long break.
"Same here." He hoped that Bea could learn to take a break once in a while, that girl work too hard for his liking.
"Uwah, this weather is perfect for skating." Korrina stretched her arms as she skated forward, not even looking where she was going. Ash chuckled and felt the cool breeze of the wind blowing his face, he glanced around the park and find it surprising that it was empty.
"Go ahead then, there's no one here." Korrina spun around, skating towards him with a small grin on her face. A small grin that hid her nervousness.
"Hey why don't you pick up skating?" Ash blinked and crossed his arms, she's joking right?
"Come again?" Korrina pouted before she smiled, skating around Ash in a circle in an attempt to show her excellent skating capabilities.
"It will be fun!" Yeap the idea of breaking his bones, scraping his knees and bruising his back sounds fun.
"I don't know how to skate." Stating the obvious like an idiot, Korrina sighed and went closer to him.
"I can teach you." Crap, she was using her nice and soothing voice. Worse still, she looked sincere and determined to show him the ropes.
"Err-"
"Pleaseee, come on just give it a try." Ash groaned inwardly, the pleading expression and the quivering tone from Korrina was way too much for him to handle. He rubbed his cheeks with his hands before finally giving a nod, he can always make some lame excuse to get out of a situation.
"Alright fine, I will give it a shot." Her lips curled up into a bright smiles, infectiously so he might add.
"Great! Wait here." Korrina skated off to the direction they came from, the sound of her roller skates grew more distant and distant until Ash can't see her. The Kanto native sat on a nearby bench before noticing that there was a concrete skatepark not far from them, which was oddly convenient.
Soon enough, the sound of skating came back to haunt Ash. He stood up in shock when Korrina returned with various roller skating equipment that looked brand new. Did Korrina spend money just to buy the equipment for him?
"Where on earth you get that from?" Korrina handed the helmet to Ash, to which he took it reluctantly. The dark blue helmet had a similar pattern to his jacket, which indicated that Korrina took the time to find the perfect helmet for him, both design and size wise.
"I brought it with me." Ash gave a deadpanned expression to Korrina, still holding the helmet within his hands.
"You plan this didn't you? This sparring session was just an excuse to get me to skate!" Korrina felt her face flushed, she avoided Ash's gaze as she placed her hands behind her back.
"Ehehe, but to be fair, you seemed like a good skater." No false compliment is going to save Korrina out of this one. The Kanto native gave an exaggerated sigh and placed the helmet by his side.
"You haven't even seen me in action yet." Ash was certain that he will fall face first as soon he got the hang of skating. His poor body coordination and his lack of exercising pretty much doomed him in any physical activity.
"I can see potential in people." Uh huh, he can see that too, their potential for failure that is.
"Really now." Ash's cynical nature was quite the sight.
"Are you going to give it a try or not?" Korrina sounded genuinely pissed off, and Ash knew better than to piss off a kind hearted girl. He mulled over his options and frowned at how limited it was. It wasn't the fact he didn't want to try skating, far from it! He was actually curious and was pretty interested in the sport. The main problem, and to his knowledge the only problem, was the injuries he received from the Golbat. It was still recovering, and any form of strenuous movement and intensive activity might reopen his wounds.
"Fine I will try it." Unfortunately for Ash, he didn't have the heart to say no to Korrina. Especially when she brought the equipment will her own money. So he did felt guilty if he rejected her offer.
"Yay! Just give it a try, that's all I ask." Korrina's mood changed immediately, her eyes gleamed as she scooted closer to him. So close in fact, that she grasped his hands together out of joy. It was perplexing why Korrina was so ecstatic over his willingness to give skating a shot, perhaps she was happy that someone was giving her hobby a try?
"Gently now." Ash felt like he was preparing for war when he equipped the various roller skating equipment. At first glance, Ash thought the protective gear Korrina bought for him was excessive, until he saw the steep ramps and various obstacle courses that looked like it belong to a platformer game.
"Here." She grasped his hand as she slowly lead him to the park, she was really attentive and careful with him as she didn't want him to lose his grip and fall face down. Standing still on your wheels as a beginner is difficult so she was careful around Ash.
"Alright so the basics of skating is about standing correctly and transferring your body weight into your legs, sort of like shifting your weight to your left leg or right when you skate. "
"So I'm basically using me body weight to propel myself forward?"
"Yep! It takes a while to get used it, but once you master that, you're pretty much good to go. Why don't you give it a try?" Maybe it was him, but Ash swore Korrina sounded like an encouraging mother. She started to teach him the basics, such as having the right postures or teaching him how to stop with the brakes. It took half an hour, but Korrina managed to drill in the basics of skating to a beginner like Ash.
Once she was sure Ash got the gist of it, she squeezed Ash's hand in an encouraging manner before letting him go, allowing Ash to have the freedom to skate around.
Not one to disappoint others, Ash decided to placed his left foot forward and shift his body weight to his left leg to give himself the extra momentum to move forward. It was terribly clunky at first, as he had a hard time to figure out when to switch footings. But after a few rounds around the rink, Ash started to get the hang out if as he started to glide longer.
"You're doing great Ash!" Korrina clapped her hands, proud of her student who seemed to have a talent for skating. She watched him glide around the rink, gradually increasing his speed bit by bit. Her initial excitement and joy turned into worry when Ash started to glide too fast for her liking. Just as she was about to warn Ash about his speed, the inevitable happened.
"Ash!" She watched as Ash lost his balance as he accidentally hit one of the ramps, causing his body to tumble down the skate ramp. Without a moment to waste, Korrina skated towards Ash and quickly reached to him. It was fortunate that he wore a helmet otherwise he would suffer from severe bleeding and concussion to the head.
"Oww." Ash started to sit up slowly, he grimaced at the pain that was starting to form behind his back and chest. He felt Korrina's hand around his body, and as he looked at the girl from Shalour city, he felt his face flushed when she stared at him with concerned eyes.
"You okay?" Ash slowly nodded, the protective gear worked wonders as it prevent most of his injuries. Though the impact of falling down still hurt every fibre of his body, not enough to make him wish for death, but enough to make him conscious at how pathetic he looked in front of a cute girl. Just as he was feeling confident, his body came crashing down.
Fantastic.
"I knew I will fall down like a bumbling idiot." Korrina chuckled at Ash's deadpanned expression, she patted his shoulders in a seemingly condescending manner.
"First time for everything." Ash gave a disappointed sigh, man he was really hoping that he could impress Korrina. She spend so much time and money just to get him the skate, he felt indebted to her now. As Ash was about to stand up, he caught Korrina's expression of horror. Was she that disappointed in him?
"Ash! You're bleeding!" Oh she's horrified at his injuries and not at his inability to skate properly, that's reassuring. The Kanto native finally registered her words before he looked down at his chest and gasped at the sight of blood forming on his shirt.
"Huh, oh my wounds are reopen." It was baffling sight to Korrina at how calm Ash was, she made sure Ash was sitting upright before her panicked state consumed her.
"Stay here I will get Riolu." Without a moment to spare, she skated towards her partner in a blazing speed, leaving Ash alone in the skate rink.
"Wait Riolu? Korrina-" Ash reached his hands towards Korrina but alas she was already out of sight, he sighed at sight of his injuries and scowled. This was exactly what he was afraid of. In hindsight, he should have expected this but he didn't want to let Korrina down. What worries him now was how on earth was he going to explain his injuries to her? He can lie and said the wounds came from the Braviary attack, but that was such a long time ago. Not to mention that a sharp Air Cutter attack is much different from a blunt force Wing Attack.
As Ash was thinking of a false story and an excuse for his injuries, Korrina returned with Pikachu and Riolu gripping onto her helmet for their life. Upon halting her skates, Pikachu jumped off her and immediately ran towards his trainer. The electric mouse nuzzled Ash's bruised hands before licking it lightly to relieve the stinging pain.
"I'm fine Pikachu, don't worry." He patted his partner's head, trying his best not to show that his hands hurt from touching his starter's head. He glanced at Korrina and frowned at how upset she looked.
"Riolu heal pulse." The Aura pokemon nodded and placed it's paws together before a warm glow of blue light engulfed him. His crimson red eyes turned bright blue as it transferred small bits of his life energy into Ash. Korrina bit her lower lip before she commanded Ash to undress his shirt and jacket to ensure his wounds was fully closed and healed, to which the the trainer with the Pikachu nodded in agreement. The Kalos blonde felt her cheeks flushed when Ash stripped his top in the middle of the skatepark, but as time went by, the wounds and his scars were slowly closing with the constant healing from Riolu.
Once his wounds were closed and the bleeding stopped, Riolu gave a tired sigh of relief before falling into Korrina's arms. She gave her prized pokemon a pat on the head before placing him in her lap, glancing at Ash who seemed to be in awe that his wounds are now healed. Such is the wonder of pokemon, and how ridiculously broken heal pulse is.
"I'm surprised your Riolu knows heal pulse." Ash spoke candidly, he glanced at the Riolu who was resting in Korrina's arms, akin to a baby savouring the warm embrace of a mother. Korrina smiled and booped her partner's nose before replying to Ash's question, she averted her gaze when Ash was putting his clothes back on, though she did take a sneaky peek.
"My grandpa's Lucario knows Heal Pulse, so I decided to record his Lucario's Heal Pulse technique and show it to Riolu." That make sense, while they are unable to bring their partners back home with them, that doesn't mean you can't teach them new moves through the use of TMs. Heal Pulse is incredibly useful, even if you can't apply the effects directly to yourself.
"Must be difficult for him to learn from a video tutorial." Korrina shook her head, patting Pikachu's ears as she couldn't resist the adorable electric mouse who snuggled on Ash's lap.
"Not really, Aura is essentially life force. Riolu can manipulate it to heal the wounds, so it wasn't too difficult for him." Interesting, aura sure is versatile and mysterious. Seeing that his wounds have recovered and the fact he didn't feel like skating at the moment, he simply sat still and looked around his surroundings. K
"Those wounds look fresh. Ash have you injured yourself again?" He cursed internally, he was afraid that Korrina noticed that. He feigned ignorance as he continue to avoid her gaze at Korrina, absentmindedly staring at the leaves that are falling in line with the wind.
"Ash, answer me." The Kanto native finally turned back to her and as he expected, she wore a serious yet concerned look on her pretty face. His Pikachu glanced at him for the briefest of moment, wanting to know how his trainer acquired those injuries.
"It's the old wounds from the Braviary." Ash spoke in a very unconvincing manner, trailing his words off slowly.
"Those cuts are not from a Wing Attack, that's a clean cut across your chest. Ash, please tell me what happened. Did you fight a pokemon?" She spoke in an almost pleading manner, she was really concerned over his wellbeing. But Ash couldn't bring himself to tell her how he got injured, he didn't want to bring up the traumatic experience Dawn had to go through to others. The 3 of them had unanimously decided to keep what happened in Eterna city between them to prevent false rumours in school.
"Just let it slide, it's nothing major." He sounded more harsh than he liked, but he was not spilling the beans unless Dawn or Misty gave him the permission to. Such harsh tone from Ash made Korrina flinched visibly, to which Ash noticed.
"Alright. But please be more careful next time. Can you stand?" He felt terribly guilty that he treated her like that, worse still she pretended that his words didn't effect her and even helped him up. She placed her arms around his waist to support, despite the fact he could walk normally.
"Yeah I'm fine, thanks." She lead him to the nearby bench and gently placed him down. As she stripped Ash off his skating equipment, Ash remained eerily quiet when Korrina's knelt before him, removing the last of his protective gear. She placed the skating gear next to her, stripping her own protective gear once she was done with his.
"Pikachu, Riolu, why don't you two go play in the park? I want to talk to Ash." The two starters nodded and ran into the grassy fields of the park, playing tag with each other as their trainers sat together in silence.
"I'm shouldn't have pushed you to try skating." Ash felt his heart wrenched over how guilty Korrina sound, he swallowed his pride and scooch closer to her while trying his best to find the right words to say to her.
"It's my fault, I should have told you about my wounds earlier."
"That attack looked like it came from a pokemon." His silence annoyed Korrina, why can't he just be honest with her? Wasn't she his friend? Her anger slowly faded away when she noticed Ash's reflective expression, perhaps he's been through something horrible and was too afraid to tell her. She scolded herself internally at how pushy she was, she needs to be understanding here.
"I'm sorry, I just- I just want to know Ash. I'm worried. A few weeks ago you were in the hospital, now you're injured again! What's next?" It was a worrying trend that's for sure, Ash himself was wondering what's coming next. It seems like fate is a sadist, wounding him at any chance possible.
"Maybe I will be crippled?" It sounded more of a question that an answer.
"Ash this is not funny!" Korrina glared at the raven haired teen which caused him to hold the two of his hands in the air nervously. Finally, she was getting a reaction out of him!
"Yeah, shouldn't joke about this huh." Korrina sighed and crossed her arms, staring at their two partner pokemon jumping and chasing about.
"Does Misty and Dawn know?" Ash gave a slow but cautious nod, she was fishing information from him again.
"Yeah they do."
"So they know what happened to you but you can't tell me?" She sounded angry, and maybe jealous? Ash couldn't place his finger on it, but he narrowed it down that maybe Korrina was mad that he was playing favourites. Part of him really wish he can tell her, but the solemn promise he gave to Misty and Dawn kept popping up in his mind.
"It's- look Korrina, I can't tell you because it's personal. Please understand that." He grasped her hand and squeeze it lightly, showing his conviction and his desire to end this conversation. The roller skating enthusiast nodded bashfully, but she understood that Ash wasn't ready to tell her.
"I didn't mean to pry." She sounded so lost and guilty, if Ash could pull her into a comforting hug without it being weird, he would have done it in a heartbeat.
"I know, I wish I can tell you Korrina but- all I can say that it involves Dawn and Misty too, that's all I can say." That really surprised her, perhaps it was something that happened during their holiday trip to Eterna? She didn't jump to conclusion on what happened between the 3, but she can tell that something serious happened.
"Is it something too sensitive?" The subtle nod from Ash was all she needed.
"I see, I understand." The two sat on the bench in pure silence, not saying a single word to each other. The tension between the two can be felt by their starter pokemon, especially Riolu given that he can read people's emotions. The two pokemon whispered to each other before they gave each other a nod and jumped onto their trainer's lap, surprising the both of them.
"Hey Pikachu/Riolu." The two starters held their respective trainer's hand and intertwined them together. The trainer blushed at the close proximity and attempted to question their starters when they exchange trainers and snuggled on the other person's lap.
Korrina smiled at patted Pikachu's head, somehow understanding their starters efforts to have the two of them to make up with each other. She giggled when Ash's held Riolu in his arms inquisitively, analyzing the Aura pokemon with great detail.
"Hmm now that I realized it, red is a good complimentary colour." Referring to Riolu's crimson red eyes, Ash held Riolu in front of him as he stared at Korrina. Her Riolu looked cluelessly adorable as to what's happening.
"Why's that?"
"I don't know, personally I think it goes well with people who has gray eyes." Korrina felt her face blushed red, knowing that Ash was talking about her. Such cheeky compliment from Ash should be expected, but given that they were somewhat arguing before, it was nice that they were talking freely again.
"Well I do like red, as you can tell." Ash glanced at her outfit, admiring the patterns and colours as well as the curves that go with it. He averted his gaze quickly when Korrina caught his gaze, before muttering quietly.
"You look good in red." Korrina caught the bashful tone of his voice and smiled to herself. She glanced at the lush green grass before her that dance to the tune of the windy breeze, patting Pikachu's head every now and then.
"I think you would look good in red too." A long sleeve red jacket with white cuffs and collar would compliment Ash's unruly raven hair and dark brown eyes. Indeed, the more Korrina thought about it, Ash would look better in the crimson red than his standard dark blue jacket. The combination of his black hair and red clothes would scream power and dominance, that or Korrina just love the combination of black and red.
As she mulled over what Ash would look like in red, Ash took the opportunity to stare at Korrina, secretly admiring how serene and calming she looked at the moment. She tucked the strands of hair behind her ear, tilting her head just slight to give Ash a clearer view.
Which undeniably made her look prettier.
Between the cool breeze and the welcoming sight that was pleasing to the eye, a sudden phone call from his phone spook everyone. Ash muttered an apology before reaching his phone, surprised at who was calling him at the moment.
"Mom? Oh you're nearby? Dinner? Uh sure I don't mind. Alright bye bye." Korrina glanced at Ash gave off a sigh, perhaps disappointed that the quaint evening they have was coming to an end.
"My mom is picking me up for Dinner, I think she's mad at me that I didn't pick up her call during the holidays." Korrina chuckled at Ash's position, no doubt his mother would grill him for ignoring her during the holidays. That being said, the girls had planned to meet up at a restaurant that was recently opened in Jubilife, to celebrate the new month of school so to speak.
"But the girls are planning to have dinner at the new restaurant that just opened. You know the one that serves Kalos cuisine?" Ash knew that, Misty and Dawn told him before they left for their clubs. He waved Korrina off, standing up with Pikachu perched on his shoulders as always.
"It's fine, you girls can go without me. I haven't see my mom in a while anyway, so I want to catch up with her." Korrina nodded, she understood Ash's position that spending time with family is important. Her parents had sent her off to live in Sinnoh with her grandfather, though she frequently contact them through the aid of video calls.
"Alright then." As Ash was about to leave the park, he noticed that his jacket is stained with the blood from his wound. He can't go home because that would take too long and his mother is already waiting for him. Not to mention he had to return to the school and hand Pikachu back to the school faculty, so he's already short on time.
"Korrina, can you take my jacket?" Korrina was admittedly surprised when Ash's took his jacket in front of her, he folded his jacket to her in an embarrassed manner before glancing at the floor.
"Huh?"
"Sorry if its weird, but there's blood on it and I don't want my mom to know." Korrina nodded and took Ash's jacket in her hands, she glanced at his white shirt that very clearly showed his wounds. In all honesty, his jacket make it less obvious compared to the giant red spot on his white shirt.
"I understand, please leave it to me. But your shirt-" Ash waved her off, he hoped that when he returns to school, no one would notice the bloodstain on his shirt. Otherwise he looks like a serial killer that just committed a murder.
"I have a spare shirt in my locker, so I can use that. But that jacket means a lot to me, my mom personally made that." Korrina smirked when Ash spoke bashfully, he was clearly a mama's boy, but given his upbringing it was to be expected. She find it heartwarming in all honesty, his desire not to worry his mother was quite adorable to witness.
"I will take good care of it, don't worry about the stains!" Ash smiled as he placed his hand on her shoulder, pulling her closer to him just slight. Obviously such bold actions surprised Korrina, though she tried her best not to appear flustered.
"Thank Korri, I owe you one." With that, he said good bye to her as he ran back to school, ignoring Korrina's calls for concern over his recently closed wound. She sighed when Ash was out of sight before she glanced down at Ash's jacket, her mind suddenly clicked when she recalled what Ash called her before leaving.
"K-Korri?" Riolu snickered as he patted his trainer's head, thoroughly enjoying her cute reaction over Ash's newfound nickname for her.
"So I saw the pictures you posted online, why didn't you tell us you were planning a trip to Eterna City for the Spring Festival?" Misty sighed at Serena's question, she poked Dawn' shoulder and gave her a "I told you so" look to her.
"Told you that you shouldn't have upload those pictures." Dawn sipped on her drink, ignoring Misty's constant poke on her shoulder.
"Its fine Misty, I'm just a little jealous." Serena chuckled as she stared at Bea who's munching on the side dish of her steak begrudgingly. To be fair, the chef did drenched too much thousand island sauce on the salad.
"Aww don't be Serena, next time I promise the 5 of us gets to go somewhere special alright?" Misty placed her hand on her cheek, glancing at her friends who were indulging themselves with their food.
"Without Ash?" Bea said it in jest, she personally won't mid if Ash tag along with them for the holidays given that he always with them during their numerous outings.
"Well unless you want him to come." Misty gave a cheeky grin, though she knew the girls won't mind Ash's company. She certainly won't mind.
"I don't mind." Serena spoke as she took a forkful of pasta. The Kalosian restaurant they were dining in was opened recently over the holidays. With such close proximity to the school dormitories, authentic restaurants such as the one they are in are often popular with the students. Especially if you slap a discount for them.
As Misty continued her conversation with Bea and Serena, Dawn noticed that the normally loud and talkative Korrina was being awfully quiet. She glanced at the Kalos teen before giving a soft smile, she seemed troubled and that was concerning given Korrina is always so upbeat and positive.
"Korrina? You okay? You seemed out of it." All the attention was immediately drew to her, she panicked when all the eyes were on her before she waved her two hands in a dismissive manner and focused on chowing down on her food.
"Huh? Nah it's nothing." Bea narrowed her eyes, she observed Korrina for a few second before her eyes widened in shock. She placed her fist at her mouth and pointed towards Korrina's shirt with her other hand.
"Korrina why is there blood on your shirt?" Korrina glanced downward on her shirt and cursed inwardly when there is a small drop of blood on the white part of shirt. The blood must have came from Ash when she placed his head on top of her lap, brushing her shirt against his jacket in the process. How did she not noticed that before?
"I must have hurt myself when I skated." The Kalos native seemed to share Ash's ability to tell unconvincing lies.
"On your shirt? And not on your knees or legs?" Bea crossed her arms, staring at her with judgemental eyes that pressured her to tell them the truth. Serena patted Korrina's bare shoulders, hoping that her best friend can tell her what happened.
"Korrina, tell us what happened." She glanced at Dawn and Misty before sighing, rubbing her left arm in the process.
"I went to spar with Ash today, and while we were walking, I persuaded him to take on skating. He fell down and the wounds on his chest somehow reopened. B-But Riolu used Heal Pulse on him and I bandage him, so he should be okay now. I'm sorry I lied, it's my fault that Ash is injured." Bea softened her look immediately before walking towards her and pat her shoulder reassuringly.
"It's not your fault Korrina, injuring yourself is part of skating right?" Every beginner, no matter how talented they are would fall down on their first try, Ash was no exception.
"That's right, and Ash never held it against you right?" Serena added on, squeezing Korrina's hand to comfort her.
"No." Bea smiled when Korrina shook her head, she sat back down on her sit before a thought crawled up to her.
"Shouldn't Ash's wound be fully healed by now? Why did his wounds reopened? Strenuous activity should have no affect on fully recovered scars, especially after Heal Pulse is used." Bea was no stranger when it comes to injuries, she knew full well a Heal Pulse from a professionally trained Chansey or Audino can fully seal the wound to prevent it from being reopened again. So it was perplexing that Ash's wounds is bleeding again unless he's chest is banged against a sharp surface or rough surface, which was unlikely giving they were skating in a rink where the concrete floors are smooth and devoid of rocks.
"The wounds he had were recent I think." Korrina added cautiously, eyeing Dawn and Misty to fish a reaction out from them. She didn't forget what Ash told her and while she promised him she won't pry into it, at the very least she needs to know the reason why Ash was injured. I
"Did he hurt himself? Dawn, Misty did you know about this?" The silence from the two made Bea narrow her eyes, where was the compassion they display for him? The Dawn and Misty she knew would immediately ask 101 question regarding Ash's wellbeing.
"Ash is your roommate, aren't you concerned for him?" She sounded a bit louder than she liked, which drew the attention of the other customers. Serena quickly stood up and utter an apology to the customers and the waiters before sitting back down, she gave a glare to Bea who sheepishly smiled at her for drawing so much attention.
"Ash got hurt by a Golbat." Dawn spoke suddenly, playing with her food with her fork as she refuse to look at them.
"Dawn-" Misty grasped her arm, shaking her head at her. Its not that she doesn't trust them, but what happened in Eterna should stay between them, for better or worse.
"It's fine Misty, we might as well tell them." Dawn was confident that her friends won't spread the news, besides, she didn't want to place Korrina in a tough spot. Serena and Bea might think she was the reason why Ash was hurt, even if they say it wasn't her fault. She can tell that the two girls care deeply for Ash.
"Tell us what?" Serena didn't like the hesitancy and secrecy, it sounded rather ominous. Dawn took a deep breath, before staring at her friends right in the eye. Such tension caused the girl to stare at her attentively, Bea even grabbed the edge of the table to calm herself since it was related to Ash's injuries.
"I almost got molested by Team Galactic grunts during our trip to the Spring festival." Dawn averted her eyes as Misty embraced her into a hug, rubbing her back softly. The utter astonishment and horror from the girls' face was something expected but that didn't meant it made the situation better.
"Oh my gosh, are you okay?" They sat closer to Dawn, placing their hand onto her to show solidarity and support. Even the normally stoic Bea showed her concern and worry over her, she cursed herself at accusing Dawn for being heartless, not knowing what she had to go through.
"I'm fine, Ash managed to find me and beat them up before they can do anything." The look of absolute relief was obvious on their face, the girls recompose themselves and sat back on their seat, though it was noticeably closer to Dawn and Misty. Gathering her courage with the support from Misty, Dawn waited for most of the customer to leave the restaurant before telling the story of what happened to her. From how she rescued to Rockruff, to Ash's inevitable battle with the Galactic grunts. It was difficult, but the girls never pressured her throughout the ordeal.
"So that's why Ash was so private about his wounds, he didn't want anyone to know what happened to you." Korrina spoke quietly, that make sense why Ash was so uptight about it. He wanted to protect Dawn's honour and name.
"I wanted to keep this as tight as possible. I'm sorry I didn't tell you girls but-" Serena shook her head, Dawn's willingness to tell her experience was admirable and brave. She was certain that the girls understood her situation and her reluctance to raise the issue again.
"It's alright Dawn, we understand." Dawn smiled, feeling blessed that she had the support from her close friends who understood her situation.
"Thanks."
"Must be a horrible experience." Bea couldn't imagine what Dawn was going through, the fear, the dread and the sudden relief of joy. It must be a rollercoaster of emotions just for one night.
"It was but Ash was there, so was the Rockruff that I helped rescued." The blunette smiled, thinking about Ash and Rockruff's heroic efforts to save her. A scene that seemed to come out from the movies, yet it happened in real life nevertheless.
"So Ash charged in like that?" Serena was astonished that Ash was willing to throw himself in harms way, but she knew she shouldn't be considering Ash was a kind person who can't handle survivors guilt. She remembered during their Summer Camp adventures, he personally told her he would rather be the one to get hurt than her whenever she sprain her ankle or step on a sharp rock. Such was the values and ideals that he carried to his current teenage years.
"It was so blurry and I thought I was dreaming at first, but hearing him screaming and fighting the pokemon face to face was so unreal." Amidst the confusion, all she saw was the pebbles and stones raining down from the sky. She thought the attacks was aimed towards her until she realized not a single shard or fragment hit her, instead it hit her assailants. The loud warcry Ash gave certainly made her heart swell in joy and in hope and as she ran towards the safety of the bamboo forest to conceal herself, she watched Ash viciously lashed out his attacks onto the pokemon. He seemed so different, so ferocious yet there was sense that the nerdy roommate she can depend on was still there. It was hard to describe the feeling.
"Never thought Ash would do that. But then again, he's the same boy who stayed behind to fight a pissed off Braviary to buy time for his classmates to escape." Misty added on softly. Ash's selfless nature shine through time peril times, it was he characters and personality that she grew to admired despite his laidback attitude.
"He later told us that he actually took Kendo classes when he was young and that he was well versed in various Kanto style sword fighting. Which explains why he managed to hold his own against the Skunty." Dodging the barrage of Fury Swipe attacks from a pokemon is no easy feat, especially against an opponent who can inject poison into your veins. One false move from Ash it might be over for him given they were far from a Pokemon Center. That thought chilled Dawn to the core, if anything happen to Ash because of her, she would never live it down.
"That's insane, I guess Ash became your hero huh?" Serena added coyly, grinning when Dawn's cheeks became red. She averted her gaze and rubbed her shoes together, causing the other girls to snicker at her reaction.
"Aww look, she's blushing." Bea spoke as she leaned in, placing her hand on her cheek.
"Shut up, you would too if you see Ash charging in for your sake." Her initial expression of annoyance quickly turned into one of curiosity. The immediate silence from the girls surprised Dawn, were they thinking of Ash doing the exact same thing for them?
"I guess." Korrina spoke softly, trying her best to distract herself with other thoughts that is not Ash.
"Does your mom know Dawn?" The Sinnoh native shook her head, she never had the courage to tell her mom. She couldn't bear the emotional conversation she would have with her mom.
"No, I didn't tell her. I don't want to worry her." Serena sighed but she gave nod nevertheless, she would probably do the same if she in Dawn's shoes.
"I understand." The moody silence set in immediately and Dawn wanted to change the topic as soon as possible. This was suppose to be a fun outing with friends and she was determined not to let what happened to her in Eterna to ruin the rest of her life.
"But! We still had fun during the festival. We really enjoyed our time in Eterna city." The positive and excited tone from Dawn brought smiles across the table, so the girls respected her wishes to not discuss the topic any further.
"Where did you go?" Korrina only knew they took pictures of the shrines, though she would be lying if she wasn't jealous of Dawn and Misty cozying up with Ash in their photos.
"We took pictures, visit the ancient shrines, watch the Sakura petals falling in the air, ate the amazing street food and even bath in an onsen." The envious looks from her friends made Misty and Dawn grin, it was something they can flex on them now.
"That sound so nice. Especially the onsen, I would love to enjoy a nice hot spring." Serena would love to relax in a hot spring, her mind would be free from all worries as she can enjoy the soothing waters that works wonder on her skin.
"Yeah, Ash was-" Amidst her excitement, she slipped out something that was perhaps special and private to them. Misty slapped her forehead, not believing that Dawn accidentally slipped out their unique experience in the onsen. While they didn't do anything questionable, the mood and the tension of the onsen experience begged to differ.
"Ash? Wait, so y-you and Ash-" Dawn covered her face with her hands, her face turned bright red when Serena pointed at her in complete shock.
"It's a mix bath." Misty added on quickly, hoping that they didn't given them the wrong impression. But seeing the unconvincing look on their faces, Misty knew it would be difficult to convince them to think otherwise.
"I suppose you won't mind sharing with him huh." Serena whispered as she smiled to herself, glancing at the table cloth before her.
"He was really embarrassed, he was closing his eyes the entire time until we asked him to come in to the waters." Misty spoke freely, not caring if they have false impression on them anymore. In fact, she would be happy to boast about their onsen experience to the girls. The exclusivity and the special bonding they had with Ash solidify their friendship and bond, to what extent? That's up to them to decide.
"Dawn?" The blunette glanced at Serena who bit her lower lip, the honey blonde gathered her courage before staring at her right in the eye.
"Yes?"
"Do you like Ash?" The sudden unexpected question caused everyone to stare at her, baffled at what Serena was doing. The Sinnoh native dropped her fork and waved her hands in the air frantically, not expecting the bold and direct question.
"W-What?" Serena went to her and held her hands in a comforting manner, her intention wasn't to embarrass her. She just genuinely want to know where her heart's lie for personal reasons.
"After everything that had happened, do you have an interest in dating Ash?" Dawn stared at Misty who had conflicting emotions hidden behind her emerald eyes. She rubbed her bare arms, shrugging in a defeated manner. If Serena was being this forward with her, she might as well return the gesture.
"I-I don't know. I don't think he sees me that way." Truth to be told, she doesn't know what relationship she wants to pursue with Ash. Was he her friend? Roommate? Or something more? In all honesty, they hasn't been an open talk regarding their relationship, and she preferred it to be that way. Ignorance is a bliss after all.
"But you like him right?" She stared at the honey blonde teen, was she encouraging her to be with Ash or was she scouting out her competition? Dawn was really confuse, did Serena have an interest in dating Ash too? They weren't really close in the first place, though the past few weeks she swore the two have been talking with each other more often, laughing and giggling about. So perhaps she has taken an interest in Ash now.
Just as Dawn was about to respond, the restaurant doors open and Ash came in, wearing a bright red jacket that had white cuffs and collar around it. Korrina felt her face flushed at the sight as she started to sink in her chair, Ash really took her suggestion and wore the exact same jacket she had in mind!
'There's no way in Xerneas that he bought that because of me.' Korrina was having a panic attack.
His new wardrobe cause the others to blink, surprised that he would even wear a red jacket. Ash often wore dark and dull colours, so this was the first time they seen him in red and he rocked it.
"Ash?" He waved to them and sat between Bea and Dawn, surprised that the girls were still in the restaurant. He honestly thought all of they have went back home, but he still decided to swing by just in case.
"Hey girls, thought all of you would be done by now." The girls glanced at each other, thanks goodness their conversation came into an abrupt end. But given the bold question from Serena, it got many of the girls thinking of their relationship with Ash. It got them thinking a lot.
"What's wrong?" He was perplexed by the ominous silence from the girls, it seemed that he had interrupted something important. Maybe there were talking about him before he intruded?
"Nothing, Dawn and Misty was just telling us what you all did during the festival." His lips settled into a smiled as he crossed his arms, leaning to the back of his chair.
"That intrigued huh." He presumed that Dawn and Misty left out some of the details of their holiday.
"We were having an interesting conversation." The wording was a bit odd, almost as if they were trying to hide what they were discussing prior to his arrival. He decided to let slide however seeing that they were staring at him a bit too much for his liking.
"I can tell, you all barely touched your food." Referring to their food that was barely touched, Ash looked around the interior design of the restaurant and admired it Kalos style decor. They even had a small replica of the Prism Tower in the middle of the restaurant, how they managed to move the entire thing in was anyone's guess.
"Do you want to order anything?" Ash shook his head, he's mother order a bit too much for their dinner. While initially she was pissed off that he didn't call her, her anger quickly subsided when he told her his Spring Festival experience, minus the unpleasant parts. She even gave a jacket to him before leaving, the very same jacket he was wearing at the moment which was perfect because he was only wearing a black shirt when meeting her. It did dawned to Ash that he was wearing red, which reminded him of the conversation he had with Korrina. Which was a coincidence that his mother knew red was his newfound colour, mother intuition at its work?
"Nah I already had dinner, so I'm quite filled up." He rubbed his stomach to dramatize how much he ate, which caused the girls the stare at his supposed wound. He caught wind of this and felt creep out by the intense staring from, was his red jacket too much? It's just a new jacket, nothing to be surprised by it right?
"Why are you all staring at me?" Korrina kicked Serena and Bea's leg lightly, breaking their trance and stupor.
"Nothing!" The raven haired teen frowned, his tone turning into soft and concern.
"What's going on here? Am I interrupting something?" Ash sound upset, in fact he looked like he was about to leave. Misty glanced at the girls and could tell they were panicking over Ash's foul mood. They were always honest around him, including him in every little conversation they have. So this was the first time they try to exclude Ash away from a conversation.
"No no no." Dawn sighed as she rubbed her temples, at this point it became annoying at how everyone so careful around her. She turned to Ash and tapped his shoulders, grasping his attention.
"Ash, I told them what happened." The waved of realization washed over him, he's eyes focused on the girls and immediately understood why they were looking at his jacket. He rubbed the back of his necks, he hoped that Dawn and Misty didn't dramatize the battle he had with the Galactics, it was honestly a one sided battle, and not a battle he was proud of either.
"So that's why all of you were looking at my chest." He really didn't want anyone to know about his injuries, they would make a big fuss about it while in reality its nothing serious. He took a quick glance at Korrina and sighed inwardly when she averted her gaze from him. No doubt that she was feeling guilty that she was the one who caused him to bleed.
"Sorry Ash, I know you don't want anyone know." Ash shook his head as he rubbed Dawn's shoulders, which drew various reaction from the others, particularly from Dawn herself who felt Ash's hands on her bare skin.
"There's nothing to apologize Dawn, this isn't about me, if you want to tell them that's fine." The Sinnoh native nodded wordlessly feeling utterly paralyzed when Ash flashed her a reassuring smile. Once he was certain that Dawn understood his sentiments regarding the situation, he turned to Korrina and sighed at how timid she looked.
"Korrina, don't blame yourself alright? I never held it against you when you asked me those questions, I would be annoyed and worried too if I was in your shoes." The blonde nodded, feeling relieved that Ash didn't held it against her. While a part of her knew Ash never blamed her for her persistence, hearing the words from his mouth was way better, it was tangible and real.
"Look, I want to forget what happened in Eterna City, well only the fighting Team Galactic part. The rest of the holidays were thoroughly enjoyable. I'm sure Dawn wants to move on from this incident too." The sea of nods from his friends made Ash smiled, good finally they can put this behind them. He was tired of bringing this accident, and he was sure Dawn shared the same sentiments too.
"Good, enjoy your dinner alright?" He watched the girls savour their food that has probably gone cold by now and chuckled when Bea separated the peas and salad from her dish and focused on the meat instead. Her love for meat and dislike for vegetables was something he could understand whole heartedly. He scanned the girls and noticed that Korrina seemed to be out of it, which worried him greatly.
"Hey Korrina." The Kalos blonde got caught off guard when Ash asked for her attention, she almost knocked her drink off the table but fortunately Serena managed to catch it. She muttered a sheepish thanks to the honey blonde teen, turning to Ash soon after who placed his hand on his cheek.
"Yes?" Ash chuckled at her blunder, ignoring the fact she was glaring at him.
"Let's go skating again." Korrina blinked and grasped her hand together, giving him a firm look.
"Are you sure? You don't need to go skating with me if you don't like it." She didn't particularly seemed happy with her words, because Ash knew it was entirely forced. Skating is her pride and joy, for her to share that experience with him is an honour.
"What do you mean? I enjoy skating, except for the falling down part. Besides, you spend so much money on the equipment, I have to repay you back some how." He lowered his head on the table, placing his heads directly on top of his arms as he stared at her, rather cheekily. He didn't knew what came over him but Ash swore he was getting more bolder and cheekier with his comments and actions around the girls. Maybe he felt that they were comfortable with him and vice versa, to the point that friendly physical gestures is common between them.
"U-Uh." Seeing that she wanted to say yes but was actually embarrassed to because of their friends, Ash decided to play his trump card. He enjoyed getting reactions from others, particularly from the girls whom he called friends. H
"Unless you don't want me to-" Ash spoke slowly, trailing off in a fake disappointed manner.
"No! I-I mean, I don't mind." Korrina recomposed herself after the little shout she gave, she rubbed her arms shyly and tried to play it off coolly. Secretly she was happy that Ash was willing to skating another go, especially with her. Part of her thought that Ash did so because he felt guilty she spend so much money on him, but seeing him skate for the first time made her realized that he thoroughly enjoyed his time roller skating. Which undeniably made her heart swell in joy that someone else is also interested in her hobby.
"Great, look forward to our skating sessions Korri." Korrina immediately became a boiling kettle as steam started to come out from her ears, she waved her hands in the air frantically when the others stared at her bright red face. When did Korri came from?
"Korri?" The Kalos blonde hid her face behind her hands when Bea said her nickname in confusion. Korrina didn't like the fact he was using her nickname he gave her today so publicly. At the very least, d-do it when they are alone!
"A-Ash!" He only chuckled at her adorable reaction.
