It was the middle of the night and while the Natsu team was sleeping peacefully in Twilight's palace, far away from Ponyville, in the darkest part of the Everfree Forest, something was happening.

Various animal remains, pieces of bones and flesh surrounded the area and the culprits were the hooded figures who no longer had the disguises on, allowing their true appearance to show.

"Grrr. As much as I love devouring these pathetic creatures, when are we going to do something?" asked that figure with the membraned hands, but now it could be seen to be an aquatic looking humanoid creature. (Similar to the swamp creature).

"Calm down, Whamplash. Patience is a virtue for some." said the large figure who now looked like a very muscular man with a ponytail as the only hair on his head. (Similar to a genie)

"Genguar is right. I know, why don't we tell some jokes?" asked the two-toned figure who happened to be some sort of jester with a body, arms and legs so lanky they looked like rubber sticks and a happy face mask covering his face. "Though I'll run out later." said the clown whose mask had turned, causing the happy face to change to a sad one, even the tone changed.

"Seriously, Pinkais, that mood swing of yours is going to drive me crazy." said the female-voiced figure that now turned out to be some kind of humanoid ant with a human face and a female body.

"Don't worry, Thimchid. I'm sure our leader has some plan. Don't you, Hitlin?" asked the horned figure that turned out to be a woman with reddish skin, devil horns and tail, and four yellow eyes.

The person she was speaking to was the figure with the metal gauntlet, but now it could be seen to be a man with gloves, boots and a black metal breastplate, and a cloak as black as night. He also wore a helmet with two horns that revealed his face and long, silver hair that reached to his waist.

"That's right, Mathisa. It's a matter of strategy, guys. We're in uncharted territory and we can't do anything until we get information from the world we're in." said Hitlin.

"If that's so, then why don't we find someone and beat the information out of them?" asked Whamplash.

"We would draw too much attention if we attacked blindly. If we're going to get information from someone, we should do it by stealth." said Genguar.

"But we've been walking through these woods for a couple of days now and we've found nothing but wild beasts without any valuable information." said Thimchid.

"Maybe there's no one in this world. Wouldn't that be funny? Hahaha." said Pinkais before his mask turned to be a sad face. "Though in reality it would mean we came here for nothing."

"No. I can sense life in this world. I'm sure sooner or later we'll find someone who can 'help' us." said Hitlin.

"Perhaps that time will come sooner than expected." said Mathisa, drawing the attention of the others. "I just got the thought of someone and from what I can gather, she seems to be pretty pissed off."

A smile formed on the armored man's face.

"Take us to her." said Hitlin.

"They think that because I lost my hive they have defeated me, but they are wrong! Yes, you bet they are wrong, because I will return, I will get my hive back and I will take revenge on them all!" cried Chrysalis, the former queen of the changelings who had now ended up exiled in the forest after her last defeat.

"How interesting."

Suddenly, she heard a voice and turned around quickly to see Hitlin and his group standing in front of her.

"You weren't lying when you said she was pissed." said Hitlin.

"Trust me, she keeps having thoughts of revenge and hatred." said Mathisa.

"Who are you? Answer me!" said Chrysalis in a very loud and angry voice, demanding answers.

"Wow, looks like someone has anger issues." said Thimchid chuckling.

"Anger is a feeling of doom. If you let it control you, you will be doomed to failure." said Genguar.

"Huhuhu. I find it amusing." said Pinkais before his mask turned away, turning sad. "But I also feel sorry for her."

Chrysalis gritted her teeth in anger, as she felt as if she was being ignored or treated like a foal.

"Very well, if you are not going to answer me, then, you will serve as food!" shouted Chrysalis as she lunged towards them to attack them.

Suddenly, however, a breeze of wind hit her and made her stop a little and before she could react, Whamplash grabbed her by the neck and pushed her to the ground.

Chrysalis was trying with all her might to free herself from the grip of the aquatic creature, who gave her a terrifying toothy grin.

"Tell me, Hitlin, can I devour her?" asked Whamplash.

It was then that Chrysalis began to feel something she hadn't felt in a long time. Fear. Normally she was the scary one, both to her subjects and those ponies she attacked, but seeing that creature's toothy grin was enough to make her shiver with fear at the thought that this could be the end of her.

"It's not necessary. She could be very useful to us." said Hitlin moving closer until he was standing next to the two of them.

Chrysalis turned her gaze to who was surely the leader of that group.

"Greetings, miss. Normally I usually say I ask the questions, but today I'm feeling generous, so I'll answer your question. As for who we are, well... We are demons of the dark guild, 'Hellish War Horse'."

Meanwhile, back in Earthland, several people stood in front of the ring of symbols that took Team Natsu and the demons to the other world.

"Are you sure this the right place?" asked Lily.

"Yes, the scent of Salamander and his friends ends up in this place, although there seem to be other scents around here, but I don't know who they belong to." said Gajeel.

"Juvia will smite whoever dared to harm my Gray!" said Juvia with fire in her eyes.

"Calm down, Juvia. We still don't know what happened to them." said Mirajane.

"Besides, I doubt anything bad happened to them. Our friends are too manly to be defeated easily." said Elfman.

"What are you doing, Levy?" asked Lisanna noticing that the writing mage was paying more attention to the symbols on the wall.

"I think I know what happened to them." said Levy after some thought and attention.

"You do?" asked Elfman receiving a nod from the writing mage.

"Yes. From what I can see, these symbols appear to have been written by an ancient powerful mage who existed long ago." said Levy.

"And what do they mean?" asked Mirajane.

"Well, it's been a while since I've read about these symbols, but I think I pretty much understand what they say." said Levy before turning her gaze to the others. "It seems that these symbols can open a portal to another world."

"Another world? You mean Edolas?" asked Lisanna.

"Impossible. There is no magic left in that world, remember?" asked Gajeel recalling his experience in that world without magic.

"I may not have known all about Edolas, but I'm sure I would have found out if there had been any portal to Earthland." said Lily.

"Which means this portal must lead to another world entirely." said Levy.

"And our friends must be there." said Mirajane.

"How are we going to get there?" asked Lisanna.

"Mmm." expressed Levy crossing her arms and putting her hand to her chin as she thought of an answer.

"Why can't we just open the portal and go to where they are?" asked Gajeel.

"I don't think it's that simple." said Lily.

"Actually, maybe it's not such a bad idea. If I read the symbols, maybe I can activate the portal." said Levy.

"Do you really think so?" asked Elfman.

"We lose nothing by trying." said Levy before she began translating the symbols on the wall in a manner that resembled a chant.

Suddenly, the symbols began to glow.

"Hey, looks like it's working." said Gajeel before Levy paused to contemplate the result.

Soon after, the entire ring began to glow, causing the mages to cover their eyes to avoid going blind.

The glow covered the entire area and in a second, it vanished, showing that the area was completely empty.

Back in Ponyville, Team Natsu was hanging out with Mane 6.

"It's kind of nice to hang out quietly." said Lucy.

"I agree. It's nice to go on adventures and exciting things, but a little relaxation isn't so bad either." said Rarity.

"Well said." said Erza nodding as she agreed with the fashionista pony.

"By the way, any word on the suspicious guys that came with us?" asked Gray to the friendship princess.

"I spoke to the princesses before we left, but unfortunately, they said they hadn't found anything concerning them at the moment." said Twilight.

"I'm a little worried about what they might be doing." said Wendy.

"What if they are planning to attack us?" asked Fluttershy nervously.

"In that case, I'll give them a good beating." said Natsu.

"Aye, sir." said Happy.

"Count me in for that. We'll show them that no one messes with us." said Rainbow Dash punching the air.

"I remind you that we don't know anything about them or what they can do." said Applejack.

"That's true. Even though we faced them, they didn't show much of their powers." said Wendy.

"Not to mention we don't know what they look like." said Charle.

"Yes, they could have various aspects, like some kind of humanoid-looking aquatic creature, a four-eyed demon, a humanoid female ant, a clown, a genie, and a human man in black armor." said Pinkie Pie to the confusion of the others.

"You are being over the top. Even if they were going to attack, I highly doubt they would right now." said Spike with a shrug.

"Uh... Spike." said Twilight pointing to the sky.

They all turned their gaze upward to see some mysterious glowing objects falling from the sky and landing in the middle of the Everfree Forest.

"Me and my big mouth." said Spike patting his face.

"That rings a bell." said Applejack.

"Yeah, that's exactly how we came into this world." said Lucy.

"But who will it be, friend or foe?" asked Rarity.

"I-I hope it's friend." said Fluttershy hiding behind Erza's legs.

"We'd better go check it out." said Twilight.

"I'm way ahead of you." said Natsu before quickly running towards the Everfree Forest.

"And once again, he's dashing back into danger." said Rarity.

"That's Natsu for you." said Happy.

With no time to waste, they all went running to find out what it was that had just fallen from the sky.

As Natsu was running through the forest, he began to pick up a somewhat familiar scent.

"That smell... It can't be. Or can it? There's only one way to check it out." said Natsu continuing his run.

Gajeel let out a groan as he sat up while rubbing his head.

"Damn. She felt like she was a vehicle. That midget totally screwed up." said Gajeel.

That's when he received a hard blow to the head from the writing mage.

"Rude! I told you I only understood most of what it had written! It's not my fault the outcome was like that!" said Levy.

"While I agree that the landing was rough, it looks like we've reached the end of the journey." said Lily.

"Does that mean we're in the other world?" asked Elfman.

"It seems so. I feel a strange magical energy in the air." said Mirajane.

"So, Juvia is in the world Gray is in? Gray, where are you?!" shouted Juvia hoping she could find her beloved.

"Juvia, keep your voice down. We don't know what might be in this world." said Lisanna.

"Besides, who knows how long it will take to find them." said Gajeel before Natsu jumped out from behind him and hit him in the head, knocking him down in the process.

"Skin as tough as steel. I wasn't wrong. It's you, Gajeel." said Natsu with a toothy grin.

"Damn Salamander! What kind of recon method is that?!" exclaimed Gajeel with white slanted eyes and shark teeth as he punched the fire dragon slayer so hard that it sent him flying into a tree.

"Hey, why did you hit me?" asked Natsu.

"You hit me first! We came all this way to find you, and this is how you greet us, you brainless bastard?" asked Gajeel.

"What did you call me?!" asked Natsu with shark teeth and white, slanted eyes.

In the next instant, the two entered into a brawl that created a ball of smoke that completely covered them.

"Well, one thing is clear, Natsu is fine." said Mirajane.

"But where are the others?" asked Lisanna.

"Natsu!" the other Earthland mages looked to the side to see Lucy and the others arrive and needless to say, they froze as soon as they saw them.

"I-It can't be." said Lucy unable to comprehend what she was seeing.

"GRAY!" cried Juvia throwing herself into the ice mage's embrace. "Oh, Juvia is happy to see you again!" said Juvia rubbing her head against her beloved's.

"J-Juvia!" exclaimed Gray in surprise at the sight of his stalker.

"Levy? Elfman? Mirajane? Lisanna? What are you doing here?" asked Lucy surprised to see them all.

"We came to rescue you." said Levy.

"Rescue us?" asked Happy.

"I don't need rescuing!" said Natsu stopping the fight for a moment.

"You'll need it once I'm done with you!" said Gajeel resuming the fight.

"We hadn't heard from you since you left on that mission and the master was starting to get worried, so he sent us to investigate." said Mirajane.

"And in the process, we came across some strange symbols on a wall. When we found out what they were and what happened to you, we activated it to get here too." said Lisanna.

"I see. That explains why you are here." said Erza crossing her arms.

"One question, who are those with you?" asked Elfman pointing to Mane 6.

It was then that Gajeel stopped his fight with Natsu when he noticed the little dragon. He walked over to him and crouched down.

"What a weird lizard." said Gajeel touching the dragon.

"Hey." began Spike pulling his hand away from the iron dragon slayer. "Dragon, dragon, not lizard. I don't do that tongue thing." said Spike crossing his arms feeling offended.

"Is he a dragon?" asked Lily surprised to see another dragon.

"His name is Spike and he and the girls are some friends we made in this world." said Wendy.

"In fact, Twilight has let us stay in her castle in the time we've been here." said Charle.

"Really? In that case, thank you so much for taking care of our friends." said Mirajane bowing in thanks.

"It's nothing. After all, they are strangers in a strange land. I wouldn't feel right leaving them alone." said Twilight.

"That's manly." commented Elfman with a smile.

"You do realize we're girls?" asked Rarity.

"And cute too." said Lisanna.

"T-Thanks." said Fluttershy shyly with a blush of embarrassment.

"Hey, aren't you going to introduce us to your friends?" asked Applejack.

"Oh, sure. Girls, this is Gajeel Redfox, Levy McGarden, Lily, Juvia Lockser and Mirajane, Elfman and Lisanna Strauss. They are friends of ours from Fairy Tail." said Erza introducing herself to her friends.

"How do you do? I'm Twilight Sparkle and these are my friends, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Spike." said Twilight introducing herself and the others.

"You'll probably have lots of questions and we'll be happy to answer them, but I think it would be best to talk somewhere more private." said Lucy.

"I agree." said Lily.

"Juvia will go wherever Gray goes." said Juvia still hugging the ice wizard.

With all that said, the three groups headed out of the forest with the intention of talking about what had been going on the last few days.
