Hephaestus was in her office. She had a mirror in hand and was looking at her reflection. Even now, Hephaestus couldn't believe the problem that had plagued her for a long time had been solved easily by the person she wanted to recruit to her Familia. She then heard a knock on the door.

"Hephaestus-sama," Tsubaki said. "The expedition team is ready…Hephaestus-sama? You're not wearing your eye patch! How? I thought you said that not even a god or goddess was able to heal it?".

"It was Jaune's doing," Hephaestus said. "Even now, it's hard to believe that my face has been healed. Every time I put down the mirror, I'm afraid that it would return to how it used to be".

"Are you talking about that Jaune Arc?" Tsubaki asked. Hephaestus nodded at her. "Not only is he a great blacksmith, a powerful individual who is capable of diving deeper than anyone in the dungeon, but now he is even able to remove something that Gods and Goddess aren't capable of removing. Are we sure that he's human?".

"I'm…sure? I believe he is…." Hephaestus was questioning Jaune's identity. "It doesn't matter. He helped me with a lifelong problem that I had. I'm not going to pry into his secrets".

"Anyway, as I said earlier, the team is ready to go for a long expedition in the dungeon," Tsubaki said. "Everything has been prepared".

While this was happening, Hestia knocked on Hephaestus door. In her hand was a short sword. Hestia was curious about the sword that Bell brought home a month ago. She knew that it wasn't a normal short sword since it would emit lightning from time to time. Hence, she came to Hephaestus to check it out.

"Hepha! I need you to check something…for me…." Hestia said while opening the door. But then she saw the face of Hephaestus that no longer had an eye patch or the disfigurement. "Hepha! It's gone! How were you able to get rid of it?".

"Oh. Hestia," Hephaestus said. "I didn't. A person that I was trying to recruit asked me if I could show him what's under my eye patch, and he proceeded to heal it on his own accord".

"Seriously?!" Hestia asked. Hephaestus nodded. "Whoa! That person would be one amazing recruit if he can remove something even Gods and Goddesses are incapable of removing. Anyway, I need you to take a look at this short sword. Bell came home one day, and he had this sword. He said it was gifted to him. Can you make sure that it wouldn't harm him in any way?".

"Sure, no problem," Hephaestus said. She then took the short sword from Hestia. Hephaestus was surprised. The weapon that Hestia wanted checking was similar to Flame Emperor of Tsubaki forged by Jaune. The magic was ingrained in the weapon. Hephaestus then took off the handle of the sword. There, she saw Jaune's signature. Hephaestus then checked the swords abilities. "There is nothing wrong with this weapon at all. It's quite impressive. Your boy is lucky to receive something like this for free. This weapon is a masterpiece. A magic weapon of this calibre would cost 100,000,000 valis".

Hestia was shocked at the value of the short sword. Lightning Edge was not only Jaune's first magic weapon, but it's also the first and only Legendary he crafted.

"100,000,000 valis…And it was given to him for free?!" Hestia shouted. "There has to be some catch, right? No way would anyone give away such an expensive weapon for free. Maybe the person that gave Bell this weapon and is making him do questionable thing!".

"Calm down, Hestia," Hephaestus said. "You can ask Jaune who purchased this weapon and from there find the person that gave Bell the short sword. From there, you can confront the person and ask what he's up to. I can even ask Tsubaki to escort you there".

"Thank you, Hepha!" Hestia said. "But isn't it late now? I don't think stores are open at this hour except for pubs".

"That's true," Hephaestus said. "Then I'll bring you there in the morning. I'm always there anyway".

"Eh? Why?" Hestia asked. "That's not very like you".

"That's because the person that I want to recruit is there," Hephaestus said. "He owns the store".

"Wait, the person that healed you is a blacksmith?" Hestia questioned. "That's not right…How would that work? That doesn't make sense".

Hestia kept asking questions about Jaune and how he could heal Hephaestus.

The following morning, Jaune's Blacksmith was not open because Jaune was in (Training Room – Legendary) teaching Haruhime advanced magic.

"He's not open," Hephaestus said. "That's weird. Normally, he would be open at this time".

"Look, a note," Hestia said. She then read the note. "Store is not opening for seven days. Please return after seven days".

"That's new," Hephaestus said. "I've never seen his shop close this long, even when he goes to the dungeon. I wonder what he's doing?".

Inside (Training Room – Legendary), Haruhime was learning the magic that Jaune was teaching her. Jaune wouldn't teach this magic until she was more experienced with magic, as it could cause death if a single mistake is made. However, inside (Training Room – Legendary), Haruhime can make as many mistakes as she needs to master the spell if she can endure dying over and over again.

Boom! Haruhime made a mistake, and she was blown to bits. Moments later, she was back to normal as if nothing had ever happened. Jaune then corrected her mistake.

Boom! Once again, Haruhime made a mistake. This time she lost concentration why performing the spell.

Boom! Once more, Haruhime got blown to bits. This time she chanted the spell improperly, which caused it to self-destruct.

Over and over again, Haruhime was getting blown to bits. Every time it happens, she gets a better grasp of the magic. Usually, a talented magician would take years to achieve the level of Haruhime now, but thanks to (Training Room – Legendary) and Jaune's teaching, she was progressing faster.

The magic Jaune was teaching Haruhime were Divine Regeneration of the Vermillion Bird, Descent of the Lightning Dragon, Great Barrier of the Black Turtle and Super Strength of the White Tiger. The magic that kept blowing up Haruhime was the Super Strength of the White Tiger as it was internal type enhancement magic. One mistake, the spell would wreak havoc in the body.

"That's enough for today," Jaune said. "You did well. Tomorrow, I'll teach you how to do chantless magic. It's better, faster and would be unexpected by your enemy".

"Now, let's train with your sword," Jaune said. "The last time you were doing well with your footwork. Now, I'm going to teach you basic techniques and how to predict your enemies movements".

Haruhime soaked in all Jaune's teaching like a sponge in water. Not only is she a willing and hardworking student, but she's also talented.

After seven days of intense training, Jaune believes that Haruhime is ready to explore the lower floors of the dungeon. But before that, Jaune wants to teach Haruhime a few more magic and let her use (Martial Arts Practice -10 years – Legendary). Since Haruhime was joining him and Scáthach on their adventure, Jaune didn't want her to hold them back.

(Martial Arts Practice -10 years – Legendary) is different from its Epic variant. The Legendary variant allows one to use the time they need to train and store the remaining time when and be used when needed. With Haruhime's talent for magic, she would need a year to master the spells Jaune taught her.

"Haruhime," Jaune called. "I've taught you powerful magic. Although you can use them relatively well, you haven't mastered them. So, take this and activate it. The card will send you to a white space and allow you to enter an enlightened state. Use that chance to fully master all the magic you've learned from me.

Haruhime nodded at Jaune, and she took the card from him. She didn't know what to do with the card, so Jaune instructed her on how to use it. Once the card was activated, Haruhime felt enlightened. All the spells she learned is becoming clearer to her. Haruhime was in the (Martial Arts Practice -10 years – Legendary) for a while, but as soon as she left, she saw Jaune still standing in front of her, just as she entered the white space.

"How was it?" Jaune asked. "How much time did you use to master all your magic?".

"10 months," Haruhime replied. "How did you know that I was going to exit the white space?".

"Pfft! I didn't know," Jaune said. Haruhime then looked at him with a puzzled look. "The white space that you were on when you crushed the card doesn't move in sync with this world. To you, 10 months has passed. To me, it's only been a second".

"Such an item exists?!" Haruhime asked in shock. "That's amazing".

"So, how was it?" Jaune said. "Did you learn to make all the spells I taught you into chantless magic?".

"I did. I was also able to shorten the activation time of the chantless spell," Haruhime said. "With this, do you think I can go to even lower floors in the dungeon?".

"Why don't we head to the training room and find out?" Jaune said. "Come on, we still have a few hours before we open the store".

Jaune and Haruhime went to (Training Room – Legendary) with that. Both of them didn't hold back with their spar. Although Haruhime has gotten better and her chantless magic activation is fast, it wasn't enough to beat Jaune. Besides, Haruhime still needs to increase her Stamina and Endurance, which is her weakest attribute.
