Erune & Rosie

(Elina's POV)
It's been a few days since we left Hyrule Castle. With the Blue Maiden's guidance, the five of us set out for Eastern Hyrule in order to save Zelda and defeat Wind Mage Vaati. Right now, we were all resting for a bit. Red was cooking lunch over a fire, Blue & Green were sparring, Vio was reading a book, & I was dipping my feet in a nearby river (look up "Elina - dipping her feet in a river" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt")*
Blue Link: Here I come, Green.
Green Link: Bring it on, Blue!
*The two of them clashed swords*
Blue Link: That's one and two!
Green Link: Three! Four! *the two finished & panted*

*I took my feet out of the water, dried them, put on my boots, & then went to join my brothers*
Elina: I know it's hard, but we can't rush these things. If we want to re-power the swords so we can rescue the Maidens and Princess Zelda, we need to take this one step at a time.
Red Link: Well, we can't do it all tonight, so sit down and let's eat!
*We all sat down around the fire & ate our fish*
Green Link: I'm glad you can taking it easy!
Red Link: Y'know, if you hit two rocks together, sparks fly.
Blue Link: Great! Spark up your sword!
*After we all finished, Vio stomped out the fire & we all left*
Elina: Let's go!
(Third-Person POV)
*As soon as our heroes were gone, one of the rocks Red had used to start the fire shook. Suddenly, an eyes appeared on it. It then rolled a bit until it came to a crack in the ground. It fell down the crack until it landed on the shoulder of Shadow Link. Shadow Elina was sitting next to him*
Shadow Link: Hmm. Those five fools won't quit, eh?
Shadow Elina: They're headed for the Blue Maiden's Village.
*Shadow Link petted the stone eye`
Shadow Link: Well done, my pet.
*Shadow Elina tickled it, making it giggle*
Shadow Elina: We must make sure that before they manage to restore the Four Sword, we smash them to bits!
*As she said that, Shadow Link clutched it in his hand*
Shadow Link: Now . . . *he threw the creature as hard as he could* Off you go! Remember to keep an eye on them!
*The evil twins laughed as it bounced away*
Shadow Elina: No matter where you five fools go . . .
Shadow Link: You'll never escape our reach!
*They laughed again*
(Elina's POV)
*When we arrived in the Blue Maiden's Village, there was a line of people outside the Police Station. They all looked angry and frustrated*
Woman #1: Hey, get back in line!
Man #1: But I've been waiting for three days!
*One of them knocked on the door*
Man #2: Hey! When're you gonna open the door? Open up!
*Just then, a girl our age ran towards them*
Erune: Stop! Stop fighting!
*Many of the people in line were shoving & cutting in front of each other*
Man #3: Hands off!
Woman #2: Quit shoving!
Man #4: 'Scuse me.
*The girl was suddenly pushed to the ground*
Woman #3: Hey! Don't push!
Man #5: I'm falling!
*Three of the men in line started to fall towards Erune. Just before they landed on her, my brothers ran forward, blocked them with their shields, & pushed them back*
Man #6: What the - !?
Green Link: Back you go! Back in line!
Man #6: Who are you guys?
*I ran to the girl on the ground*
Elina: Are you alright?
Erune: Y - Yes. Thank you.
*The four Links turned to us. The girl looked really surprised at the sight of them as I helped her stand up. My brothers turned back to the adults*
Green Link: Grown-ups shouldn't act so foolishly.
Man #7: S - Sorry.
Blue Link: Right. It sets a bad example for the children.
Woman #4: But . . . Our children were stolen from us!
*The adults all turned back to the police station*
Man #8: Let us in!
Woman #5: Do something!
Woman #6: Find my boy!
*The girl took us back to her house & gave us all something to drink*
Erune: Thanks for your help. I'm Erune.
*My brothers all had a blush on their cheeks. I rolled my eyes. Erune then leaned in closer to my brothers*
Blue Link: W - What?
Erune: You really look exactly alike. Are you quadruplets?
*My brothers were about to protest, but I intervened*
Elina: Yes! We're actually quintuplets. *I pointed to Green* He's the oldest. *then Vio* He's the second oldest. *then Blue* Then him. *and finally Red* And finally him. I'm the youngest. And the only girl, obviously.
Erune: Oh, I see. *she began to explain to us what happened* Ten days ago a big storm hit town. When it passed, 18 children were gone.
Green Link: Eighteen!?
Erune: No one knows anything. But in the square, I saw a shadow that looked just like one of my missing friends. The people outside think I know someone more, but I don't. Every day the people get angrier. This used to be a quiet village.
*My brothers then got excited*
Red Link: Don't worry!
Purple Link: With Link on the case . . .
Green Link: Your problem is . . .
Blue Link: As good as solved!
Elina: And I can help too. My name's Elina.
*Erune & her Mother looked surprised when they heard our names*
Erune's Mother: Link and Elina!?
Erune: Link's a Knight from the Castle and Elina is Princess Zelda's handmaiden! Do you guys know them?
*My brothers all did a prat-fall*
Green, Purple, Red, & Blue Links: Look! We already told you . . .
*I giggled*
Erune: I'm so glad heroes from the Castle have come! Please, save the village's children!
Green Link: Of course we will.
Erune's Mother: Stay here tonight. You must be tired after your journey.
Elina: Thank you, Ma'am!
(Third-Person POV)
*Later that night, Vio, Red, & Blue were up in the guest room*
Red Link: Erune is soo cute!
*Blue pulled on his ear*
Blue Link: Focus on the job, Red.
Red Link: OW! I'm just saying is all!
Purple Link: I bet Vaati is behind this somehow.
*Blue picked up his sword*
Blue Link: In the past, Vaati took maidens, right?
Red Link: Then Erune is in danger!
*Suddenly, Blue jumped on his bed with his sword drawn*
Red Link: Uh . . . What's with you, Blue?
Blue Link: . . . I got a gut feeling we're in danger.
Red Link: But there's no one here but us.
Blue Link: Oh. Yeah. *he sat back down on the bed. just then, he found something under his pillow* Hey! There's a rock in the bed. *he went to the window & threw out the rock* Where are Green and Elina?
Purple Link: They went out to get some air.
(Elina's POV)
*Green & I stood on the porch outside, looking at the night sky. Just then, we heard a loud *FUMP*. We looked around the corner & saw Erune sitting on a bench, looking at a doll. We went up to her*
Green Link: Erune, it's dangerous for you to be out here.
Erune: Link, Elina . . . I was saying goodbye to Rosie. I'm giving her away tomorrow. I'm a little sad, but I'm too old to play with dolls.
*Green & I sat down next to her*
Elina: But isn't Rosie important to you? If so, you shouldn't let her go. You'll be sorry later.
*Green nodded as Erune looked back at Rosie. Suddenly, a hand grabbed Green by the ear & pulled him around a corner*
Green Link: YOW! *I ran after him & saw it was Blue pulled both of Green's ears* What are you doing, Blue!?
Blue Link: Sneaking off by yourself! We work as a team, remember!
Elina: Blue! Stop it! You're hurting him!
(Third-Person POV)
*Erune looked at Rosie, who started to shake. She then smiled*
Rosie: Let's play. *Erune screamed & dropped her as she started laughing. Rosie then got back up & latched on to Erune's shoulder* I know a place . . . A Special place where only kids can go . . . And play . . . Forever!
(Elina's POV)
*Suddenly, I heard a loud "Clunk"*
Elina: Erune? *I looked back around the corner & saw Rosie on the ground & Erune was gone* Erune!?
Green Link: Sh - She's gone! *Vio & Red came down from the guest room with their swords & shields ready. I got out my bow & arrows* Search the grounds! Look for clues! *I followed after Green. we soon found footprints leading away from the house. we followed them until we saw a shadow in the shape of Erune, crying on the ground* Wh . . . What's that?
Elina: Where . . . E - Erune! Where are you?
*Green & I kneeled down to the ground & patted the grass*
Green Link: It's just her shadow! How can that be?
*Suddenly, we heard chuckling. We looked behind us & saw a little round rock . . . With an eye on it*
Arrghus: How amusing! *Green & I both got scared & tried to run away, but found another one on the ground* I saw that. *we tried to run away again, but found a rock wall covered in eyes* I spy . . . With with my rocky eye . . . Two very frightened heroes!
*One of the eyes shined a bright light at us. Then everything went black*
?:*off-screen* Green! Elina! You too!?
*When I opened my eyes, Vio, Red, & Blue were standing above me & Green*
Green Link: Everyone?
Purple Link: When we looked into that rocky eye, we wound up here!
*Green & I stood up & saw where we were*
Green Link: It looks like the village . . . Warped through a bad dream.
Elina: Through a nightmare!
Purple Link: It's a lot like the real thing, but subtly different. Sort of like we are.
*Just then, we all heard the sound of children laughing. We all turned & saw a group of kids running through a meadow. Green ran to them & grabbed one of the kids by his arm*
Green Link: The missing children? Hey, kid!
Child: Yes, mister? *the kid turned around & we saw it was actually a toy soldier* This is a land with no adults. Just kids, and we get to play all day long. All play and no work means we're just like toys. *we saw that Erune has been turned into a doll* You never get tired or hungry. You just play forever. It's fun!
*Green & I got mad*
Green Link: Show yourself, Shadow Link!
Elina: You too, Shadow Elina! We know you're both behind this!
*Suddenly, a giant round thing came towards us*
Arrghus: Welcome to the Dark World. But you're early. Ten years too early to face me!
*It was a giant version of the Rocky Eye Monster. It opened it eye & tons of miniature rock monsters appeared around it. The rocks attacked us*
Red Link: Stop staring at me!
Purple Link: We'll never get neat the main eye this way!
*Just then, Green noticed a toy box & grabbed a boomerang from it*
Green Link: Everyone grab a weapon! Start with the smaller eyeballs!
Blue Link: B - But . . . They're just toys!
*Vio picked up his own bow & arrows*
Purple Link: I'll take this one.
*Red grabbed a slingshot*
Red Link: Dibs on this!
Blue Link: Oh! I see! I'll use this! *he reached into the toy box & took out a butterfly net. he tried again & took out a pair of flippers. he flipped the box over & found a hammer* This will do nicely!
*The four Links used their new weapons & I used my own bow & arrows*
Green Link: Take that!
Purple Link: Let's get 'em, guys!
*Green then sliced one of the eyes in half & his sword began to glow*
Green Link: What!? When you cut a monster, the sword gains Force Energy!
*Red used his slingshot to hit multiple eyes & I did the same with my arrows*
Red Link: Take that, and that, and that!
*Green sliced more eyes*
Green Link: C'mon! Power up time!
*Vio did the same. Soon, all the smaller eyes were gone. The big eye looked around*
Elina: There's no where left for you to hide!
*Suddenly, the monster started crying right above Red*
Arrghus: I m - made all those little rocks! Now they're g - gone! I'll never see them again! WAAAH!
*Then Red burst into tears*
Red Link: Really? That's so sad! You're making me cry! Huh? *just then, all the monster's tears dried up & turned hard around his feet* Th - The tears . . . They've dried like cement! I'm stuck! I can't move!
*The monster then stopped crying & charged towards Red*
Arrghus: I'll crush you!
*Vio & I quickly got in front of Red, arrows ready*
Purple Link & Elina: Hail of arrows!
*Our arrows hot the monster's eyes*
Arrghus: OW! I can't see!
*The monster then crashed into the hardened tears, breaking it. We all dodged*
Red Link: I'm free!
Blue Link: Look out! Comin' through!
*He hit the monster with his hammer & it split right down the middle. As the monster was destroyed, crystals began raining down on us*
Elina: Wow!
Green Link: It's raining Force Crystals!
*Just then, Blue pushed Green out of the way*
Blue Link: Outta the way! I crushed it, so they're my Force Crystals!
*Then he, Green, & Red started wrestling*
Green Link: You want to hog them all!?
Blue Link: Shut up!
Red Link: I fought too!
*I ran over to break them up*
Elina: Will you guys stop it!
*Vio picked up one of his own*
Purple Link: My, what an ugly display.
*We made our way to our destination*
Elina: At last, the Eastern Temple!
*We made our way inside*
Red Link: It's the Yellow Maiden!
My brothers broke the stones around the crystal prison & it shattered*
Yellow Maiden: Link . . . Elina . . . You must have defeated the terrible monster, Stone Arrghus! Wonderful! Thank you! And the Four Sword shines as it did before! But still not powerful enough to defeat Shadow Link and Shadow Elina. *a big blue pearl appeared in her hands* Please, take this Moon Pearl. When struck by moonbeams it opens a gate to the Dark World. It will aid you in your fight.
Green Link: A Moon Pearl, eh?
*We then met with the villagers*
Villager #1: We truly thank you, heroes.
Child: Thanks miss, mister!
Villager #2: A happy ending!
Erune: I'm an only child. I've only ever had Rosie, but now you're like my brothers and sister. So please try to get along. Don't fight.
Blue Link: Well . . .
Purple Links: Of course!
Red Link: We always get along!
Green Link: Yep! We do!
Elina: Don't worry, I'll make sure of it.
*Green held out his hand to Erune*
Green Link: Well, this is goodbye, Erune.
Erune: Link . . .
*Suddenly, Red grabbed Green by the back of his shirt*
Red Link: I wanna a shake hands too!
Blue Link: Get over here, you sneak!
Purple Link: I wish there was just one of me again!
Boy: Are these guys really heroes?
*I angrily stomped over to my brothers, grabbed them all by the backs of their shirts, two in each hand, & dragged them away*
Elina: Will you knock it off!? Honestly, you guys are so annoying!
