Saphira followed Optimus and Bulkhead, she noticed they were walking towards her room, which was curious to her. Miko kept dancing excitedly, she probably knew what the surprise was and that was okay. Saphira already had a guess, yet she was still excited for it as she knew the bots wanted her to be happy. And now she had no worry about stepping outside the base with Ronan off her trail for the time being. Arcee, Jack, Raf, Bumblebee and Ratchet followed behind Saphira with smiles on their own faces.

"You wanna fill me in?" Jack asked Arcee curiously, covering his mouth with his hand to try prevent Saphira from hearing him.

Arcee chuckled softly. "Nah, you can find out like she can." The femme smirked as she saw Saphira glancing back at them. "We would not want to ruin the surprise that has been worked on. I know you will love it, Saphira."

She smiled, she heard Bee whirring excitedly and Raf smirked at his friend. "I can't wait to see her face!"

"I wish I could understand you, Bee," Jack said with a light laugh, then I can know secrets that are being kept from us.

"Ha! Bee would not say anything if the secret was big enough," Ratchet said with a chuckle. "He might be young, but he isn't that foolish. Not foolish enough to spoil a surprise. He has learned not to do that after a few times he has slipped up on surprises."

Bee laughs, which made Saphira chuckle. His laughter came out in whirs, but Saphira found herself enjoying the whirs he makes, she just wished there was a way for her to understand him. She was certain it was frustrating for Bee to not be understood by everyone, but at least most people around him were able to.

"Alright!" Saphira yelped in surprise when Miko suddenly covered her eyes with her hands. "No peaking, Saphira!"

"Warn me the next time you are going to do that," Saphira said with a sigh of irritation. "Especially after being chased by someone who intends to kill me."

"Sorry, I am just excited for you!" Miko sounded way to enthusiastic about it. "Although…to me, it's kind of boring. But I know it is totally your style, and that you will love it. That's the most important thing."

Saphira just nodded in agreement. She heard Bulkhead chuckling softly and a soft hum from Optimus. Milo kept her eyes covered while she helped Saphira walk forward and not run into anything. At least the girl was honest that the surprise for Saphira wouldn't be something Miko would like. But it was nice that she was excited for Saphira.

"You can uncover her eyes now, Miko," Optimus spoke after a few minutes. Miko uncovers Saphira's eyes and she looked around, but she didn't see anything and looked up at Optimus. "Saphira, I know you will like what we have done. Since you desire to have a plot of land to use as a place to escape from us and grow plants, we have made something for you." He lifts his leg to reveal a door, Saphira widened her eyes to see it was too small for an autobot. "It took a little bit of time for myself, Bulkhead and Ratchet to build with the tools we have. We have managed to finish this. It will lead you outside, and with no tracking device on you, you will be safe."

Saphira walked over to the door and opened it, she saw it lead into a brightly lit hallway and she looked up at Optimus. "As long as this isn't some kind of labyrinth to get lost in," She joked before stepping into the door. "At least it's warm in here…kind of like outside…"

"We designed it so it would filter the outside temperature and air directly," Ratchet explained. "That way it will feel like a nice walk from the base to the abandonment property. Would one of you kids accompany Saphira, please?"

Jack nodded, stepping forward as he was really curious about this surprise. He looked at Saphira with a grin. "Shall we?"

"Of course." Saphira stepped into the hallway to walk through. "I imagine this tunnel is underground a bit so the decepticons don't see it too."

"You would be correct, Saphira," Optimus's voice echoed gently as he spoke. "You are quite safe, thankfully there is no scraplet damage that we had to fix."

Saphira chuckled softly, she was glad to hear that, even though she was certain the scraplets wouldn't be interested with the tunnel anyway. She walked through the tunnel briskly, eager to see the end of the tunnel. She already suspected where it leads to, and the excitement made her begin to run. Jack was surprised and followed her quickly.

"Why are you running?" Jack asked curiously as he followed her.

"Because I already know what might be at the end of the tunnel. And I want to see it!" Saphira had a big smile on her face as she ran through the tunnel. She saw the door at the end and came to a stop when she reached it, placing a hand on the door and pushing it open. She grimaced as the golden light of the sun filtered through the gap. "Fresh air…warm sunlight…" She pushed the door all the way and smiled when she saw she was standing in front of the abandoned house. She glanced back at the door to see it resembled a little bit like an outhouse. She placed her hands on her hips. "Now that's impressive."

Jack stepped out and smiled, looking around at the plot, seemingly unimpressed by it, but he was glad Saphira was happy. "This is kind of a dump, Saphira."

"Not for long." Saphira looked around, smiling at the house, the old barn and very run-down garden. "It is going to look like a mini paradise in a few weeks. Just you wait. You can go back now, Jack. I am going to do some mapping out."

Jack looked at her with a frown, she walked away from the door to look around to see what was around now it was day. "Are you…uh…sure? I think Optimus will want to see you back."

"Of course I am sure. I am not going to do anything stupid, I am just going to…" She paused as she dropped to the ground, scraping her fingers at the ground curiously. "Investigate the property…" She could tell by how hard and dry the ground was that a well was going to be difficult, especially in this part of the country. "If they are worried, one of them can take a drive around to see what I am doing."

Jack nodded, though he did not move as Saphira walked over to the worn-down garden. She wasn't exactly interested in the plants themselves, but rather how good the soil was. Good soil was a key ingredient for successful growing, not just water and fertilizer. She dropped to her knee and dug her hand into the dirt to feel the structure of the soil. She hummed softly, pushing her hand deep into the soil and smiling, pulling hand back out holding moist soil with worms wiggling in the dirt. She was happy about this.

"Gross." Jack shakes his head, making her chuckle softly. He turned to leave. "I'm going to head back, might as well let them know you are happy and already doing something with the place."

Saphira nodded. "And just for the record, worms mean good, not gross." She placed the soil back down, brushing some soil off her hand and looking at the overgrown plants. "Still…I need tools…" She glanced at the abandoned shed and walked over to it. She didn't know if there were any tools here, but when she opened the shed, she smiled as she saw a hoe straight away. "Rusty…but still seems sturdy."

She grabbed the hoe off the hooks, glancing at the other tools here. There was a fork, shovel and there appeared to be a hammer. The nails would be useless, but the tools she had would work for now. She took the hoe out and returned for the fork and shovel, she knew she would need all the tools to begin what was needed to start with. She grabbed the fork and drove it into the soil to dig out the overgrown bushes, pulling the roots up from the ground. She smiled as she caught the scent of damp, good soil. It was a unique smell that some may find horrendous, but Saphira loved it.

She worked on the garden beds for a few hours, stopping only to cool down and take a step back. She made sure to not stay in the sun too long, though the colour of her pale skin did redden as a little sunburn began to set in. None of the autobots came out to disturb her during this time, which she was mostly happy about as she could get some of what she wanted to do done.

Though as the afternoon hovers over her, Saphira felt her stomach growling as she got majority of the weeds and old plants out of the soil. She also had begun to turn the soil over as the same time. She knew she wouldn't have much time though, she needed to get onto improving the soil and adding compost and other matter to it before putting any plant into the ground. She also needed to make a list of what plants to start growing as well.

"Saphira?" She jumped a little as she heard Optimus's voice and turned to see the Peterbilt parked by the garden. "You've been out here for a few hours. Your skin looks…red."

She glanced at her arms and widened her eyes. "Slag…sunburn…" She took a deep breath and picked up the tools. "Let me put these away and I'll be right out." She wipes the sweat from her forehead as she carried the tools back to the shed and returned to Optimus. "I guess I was having enough fun that I wasn't paying attention."

"I am glad you are enjoying yourself, Saphira. I will say though, Ratchet is going to have a few words about your skin if you don't protect yourself. It seems the sun appears to be harsher on your bodies than our own." Optimus sounded genuinely concerned as he spoke to her. She smiled at him as she was grateful. "If you wish to go for a drive, we can do that."

She glanced at her hands, they were still covered in dusts of dirt. "Uh, maybe after a break. I could use some food and water at the moment." She walked over to the outhouse to enter the tunnel. "I'll meet you back in the base."

Optimus said nothing as she walked back into the tunnel, making her way back to the base. She was grateful that he had come to let her know it was time to come back. She didn't have any kind of communication on her, aside from her phone, but they risk very little when it comes to protecting their base. It was perfectly fine as the walk was not very far, and once she stepped into the base, the cool air was incredibly welcoming. Although, she knew she might need some aloe vera for her skin because it was starting to feel irritated.

She decided to take a shower to refresh herself and soothe the burns on her body, though she knew she might get some kind of rant from Ratchet. She shrugged, deciding it wasn't going to be an issue, it wasn't a very bad burn and she could deal with it. Once she was refreshed and in a new pair of clothes, Saphira made her way out of her room to head to the lobby, feeling happier now that she had spent sometime outside and getting her hands dirty.

Someday soon, that patch of land is going to be green and beautiful.

Saphira had grabbed an empty textbook to write down notes and draw the property out so she could make some plans for it. She hummed softly to herself, swaying her body gently as she walked as she was feeling very happy and she couldn't wait for things to start happening. She also had to consider the flowers as well, as she needed to attract pollinators and some flowers were good at keeping pests away.

"I must say, this will have to be the first time I have seen you this happy." She looked up to see Ratchet looking down at her with a smile. "I am glad that we have finally given you something you can work with." He looked at her skin closely and widened his optics curiously at her. "Is that what happens to your skin when you're out in the sun too long?"

Saphira shrugged as she walked towards the stairs to the platforms. "Yeah, I didn't put any sunscreen on or wore a hat. So I guess that is my fault." She walked up the stairs humming to herself softly. "I might request to go into town to get aloe vera though, just so my skin doesn't get so dry."

Ratchet stepped closer, looking at her skin more closely. "Does it hurt?"

"Of course it hurts!" Miko responded quickly, the medic turned to look at the girl sitting on Bulkhead's shoulder. "Sunburn hurts depending on how bad it is. Luckily, Saphira doesn't have a terrible sunburn. If it was worse, you will know about it. Touching her would be a bad idea at this time too, everything will feel hotter to her than normal."

Saphira rolled her eyes at the girl. "Miko, I was perfectly capable of responding. And it stings, but not to the point of discomfort." She took a seat on the couch and keep writing. "Right now I am more interested in other things."

"Like what?" Raf walked over and sat beside her curiously. "Oh, I see, you're mapping out the property and listing the different plants you can grow in each season. Nice…and I've heard about growing zones. Do they really impact plants that much?"

"They do. Though sometimes it can be dealt with by use of a greenhouse or some extra TLC to the plant. Of course, if a plant requires a cooler environment, it isn't going to grow somewhere that's very warm." Saphira looked at Raf as he looked at her book. "I can teach you."

"Nah, it's not my thing. I prefer to learn more about computer stuff. But it is great that you've got something to enjoy." Raf leaned back and grabbed a gaming controller. "I hope you don't mind if I play against Bee."

"Nope, as long as you don't distract me." Saphira smiled at the boy before she kept drawing and listing down some things. "I am in my own little world right now."

Optimus was smiling as he stood in the lobby, listening. He was happy she was happy, it was the right move to give her that plot of land. He did not know what she intended to do with it, but seeing it change and grow will definitely be something to enjoy. "Would there be anything we can do to help you with your project, Saphira?"

She paused when she heard Optimus's question. She turned to look at him and shrugged. "Um…only that I may need a car every now and then to haul some things out to the property…but…" She looked at Bulkhead and smiled at him. "You wouldn't mind helping, would you? You're the only one I can think of who would have the most room in the trunk."

"I would be happy to help!" Bulkhead said enthusiastically. Miko groaned suddenly and rolled her eyes. He looked at her in surprise and shakes his head. "Don't worry Miko, I highly doubt Saphira will ask all the time."

"He's right." Saphira looked back at her book, humming a little as she turned the page and began drawing out plans. "Right now, I'm just planning. Maybe next weekend…"

"Oh! I forgot, Xavier's parents wanted to meet with you this weekend," Ratchet interrupts, making Saphira grimace a little at that. "Do you still want to meet with them?"

"I already let them know that I am unavailable. I don't exactly want to go out for lunch and have Ronan pounce on us." Saphira also did not want to meet them, she really wanted no money from them because it wasn't hers.

Nobody else seemed to want to argue, which was great. Saphira had truthfully not sent them a message, she simply ignored them and hoped to not have to face his parents. She was more inclined to work for money over being handed it as compensation. It would do nothing to make her scars and pain disappear, and she worried it was a trap as well.

"Optimus, I'm receiving a signal on a restricted band." That got Saphira's attention. She lowered her book and turned to look at Ratchet as he looked at the console, typing and reading what was being sent. "It appears to be coming from a star ship inside this solar system." That was interesting, Saphira got up from the couch and walked over, curious to know what this was. She looked at the screen curiously as she waited. "It's an autobot identification beacon."

Saphira was surprised and turned to look at Ratchet. "Really? There are more autobots out there?"

Ratchet nodded to her. "The masses scattered to the galaxies when Cybertron finally went dark," Arcee explained, though she seemed a little suspicious by the transmission as she gazed at the screen. "But, cons have been known to bait traps with false beacons."

"That's kind of concerning if they can do that." Saphira looked at Optimus who nodded in agreement. "Still…if it's another bot…hopefully they can get here safely."

Optimus looked at the console and began to speak through the com link. "Unknown vessel, this is autobot outpost omega one, identify yourself."

There was some static before a response came back through. "I've had warmer welcomes from decepticon combat brigades," A voice responds in a slightly sarcastic tone.

"Wheeljack?!" Bulkhead exclaimed in surprise. He walked towards the console with a smile as the bots look at him. "You old con crusher, what are you doing all the way out here?"

"Bulkhead? That's you?" The bot responded with the same amount of surprise as Bulkhead. "What's with all the security?"

"The rock we're on is crawling with cons," Bulkhead explained, he still had a big smile plastered on his face. "How soon can you get here and even the odds?"

"Sometime tomorrow, if I put metal to the pedal."

Miko was excited to know another bot was coming, she grinned at Bulkhead who was smiling back at her. "Another bot's coming here, how cool is that?"

"It would definitely be nice to have another around here," Saphira said thoughtfully. "It might get a tad more crowded, but more the merrier." Ratchet rose an eyebrow at her to tell her he didn't think so, making her smirk at him. "Sometimes I wonder why you're not a hermit, Ratchet."

"A what?" The medic looked at her with a baffled expression. "What the slag is a hermit?"

"Someone who lives in solitude, usually under religious reasons by human standards. But generally speaking, you definitely seem like someone who enjoys his own company." She smirked at him as he shakes his head in disagreement. "I personally would be okay with that."

"I enjoy company, just the silent type," Ratchet huffed and looked at Optimus. "But, another bot will be good. I'm still making repairs to the ground bridge though, if we can get Wheeljack here, we might be grounded for sometime."

"Understood." Optimus turned to Bulkhead. "I know of Wheeljack by reputation only. Can you verify his voice print?"

The green bot nodded. "He is one thousand percent the real deal, Optimus."

Satisfied with the answer, Optimus looked back at the screen to continue speaking to Wheeljack. "We will send landing coordinates, Wheeljack. Safe journey."

"See you soon, buddy!" Bulkhead adds in excitement. "I'll make sure you get a proper welcome."

Arcee smirked at Bulkhead, seemingly amused by Bulkhead's reaction to knowing Wheeljack was coming. "So who's the boyfriend?" She asked, making Saphira giggle softly.

He chuckled at her in response. "Me and Jackie go way back. We were part of the same war unit, the Wreckers. Which means the cons are gonna wish he never found us."

"This is gonna be so good!" Miko exclaimed before gasping loudly. "I need to get my guitar! If he's gonna be here tomorrow, he's gonna love rock music."

Bulkhead chuckled in agreement. "He most certainly will."

Ratchet rolled his eyes in irritation. "Oh joy…loud music. Just what I needed."

"He might prefer the acoustic guitar over an electric guitar," Saphira said softly. Miko shakes her head with a scrunched-up nose. "I can easily play a great tune to welcome him instead, it won't be as loud."

"I would prefer that over the loud noise that horrid guitar Miko owns creates," The medic said, glancing at her with a smile. "At least you may yet have another bot to tag along with if he sticks around."

She shrugged. "I doubt it. If he's anything like Bulkhead or Miko, he'll just be cool to hang out with and that is it." She looked back at her book and walked away. "I have more interesting things to do than worry about a new bot. But…" She looked at her arms with a little grimace. She sighed and turned to Optimus. "If you don't mind taking me into town, I would like to buy something."

Optimus nodded to her. "I do not mind at all…so long as you feel confident enough for it."

"Wait, how about I get something for you?" Jack suggests, which got him a frown from Saphira. "Do you really want to go back into town after what happened today?" Saphira was silent for a moment before looking away with a sad expression. "I thought so. You can pay me back later for it."

"Alright…" Saphira sighed softly and looked at him. "Aloe vera please. I could really use it."

He glanced at her arms for a moment and nodded. "Of course. I figured you would."

"What is aloe vera?" Arcee asked curiously with a frown.

"It's a plant that has been used for thousands of year to soften the skin, and to treat some skin conditions," Jack explained as he walked down the stairs. "Like sunburn…"

"So you are uncomfortable," Ratchet comments and frowned at her. "I might have something for it."

"I would prefer to use something that is natural, Ratchet. But thanks for the thought." She looked at Jack as he walked over to Arcee. "I guess Arcee will take you."

Jack nodded as he grabbed his helmet. "Of course. Hopefully no one will recognize the bike, the last thing I need is be stalked as well."

Saphira nodded to the boy as she understood perfectly how he was feeling. Arcee transformed and drove away once Jack was on the bike. Saphira hoped it won't be an expensive bottle of aloe vera, but it wouldn't matter as it would help her.

She looked at Ratchet who was still frowning at her. "It isn't just about me being uncomfortable, I also don't want for my skin to be painful when it peels. Aloe vera will help with that." She lifts her arm and rubbed it, showing the flakes already coming off the skin. "It isn't bad, but it still is uncomfortable. Don't worry, there is a new layer underneath that will be like new."

"Hmmm…" Ratchet turned away thoughtfully and walked away. "You still should have been honest."

"It's not going to kill me, Ratchet. It's just sunburn, not a deep wound." She shakes her head a little and looked at Optimus. "Is it really that big of a deal?"

Optimus did not respond for a moment as he processed it. "I do think being dishonest is wrong, Saphira. However…you are a human, we are not. You are aware of how to care for your own body. I do not think it is wrong for you to deal with it in the way you know how. However, Ratchet is learning about it. I think you should at least have told him so he is prepared in the future."

"I actually plan on growing the plant too, so we won't have to buy the ointment," Saphira added with a smile. "It's a plant that can grow here, and I intend to grow enough of it to not need to shop for it. Any bottles I use can be reused."

"That sounds like a solid plan," Bulkhead said with a smile. "I am not sure how big the plants get, but I guess it doesn't matter."

Saphira shakes her head as she sat back down. "No, it does not." She heard Bee and Raf resume their video game as she continued mapping out her vision. "Tomorrow has just gotten a lot more interesting."

Saphira did not know what Wheeljack would be like. She was looking forward to meeting him, though she was most certainly sure that he will just be a friend. Especially as she didn't have the same kind of personality as Miko had, which was why she and Bulkhead had such a good relationship. It was going to be an interesting day, she didn't know if she would be back from her job in time to meet him though.
