Penelope did search after search and kept coming up with nothing and then she bit on her bottom lip and said, "think Garcie, think, don't give up now, not when your team needs you". She blew out a deep breath and went deeper into the births of the victims parents and she smiled and said, "hmmmm, that's got to be something" as she picked up her phone and hit a number.
After a few rings Hotch said, "you're on speaker Garcia", Penelope said, "sir I searched and searched and couldn't find anything", Reid said, "butttttt"?, she giggled and said, "you know me so well boy wonder" causing Reid to blush and grin as they waited on Penelope to continue./
Penelope then said, "all of the parents of the victims were all in the system but not in a bad way, they were all put into foster homes before they were adopted at an early age". Derek said, "every one of them"?, she said, "yep, like in the first victims family the father was in foster care for a while before he was adopted and with the second it was both of the parents" as she continued filling them in on what she had found
As she was getting ready to end the call her computer beeped letting her know that her search was over, she said, "guys, I think I just found something else". The team listened as she said, "the only person to not get adopted at that time was a Jeremy May and he, ohhhh bless his heart", Derek said, "what's wrong sweetness"?, Penelope said, "he was shipped from foster home to foster home and abused both physically and sexually in all of them"
Emily said, "any idea where he is right now Garcia"?, she let her fingers fly across the keyboard and then said ,"ahhhhh yes, my raven haired beauty he is in the very town you are in now". As Hotch opened his mouth to get her to do a background search she said, "already on it sir" and then after a few seconds she said, "ohhhh he's a naughty naughty boy" and then continued filling them in on what she had found
After the call ended she sat back and sighed hoping that what she had uncovered would help her team of crime fighters find and stop the sick unsub that was kidnapping young children. It was several hours later before her cell rang, she smiled when she saw, "HOTSTUFF" flashing on the ID, she hit talk and said, "talk to me tall, dark and sexy".
Derek laughed and said, "good to hear your voice to baby girl", she said, "is everything okay"?, he said, "everything is more than okay, thanks to you we were able to not only catch the unsub but found all of his victims, all of who were safe and currently with their famalies"
She smiled and said, "awwwww thank you for telling me that handsome, I really needed to hear that", he said, "any time gorgeous, any time" causing the smile on her face to be even bigger. Derek said, "we're finished with our paperwork and are wheels up, we should be home by morning", she said, "that's great news sugar shack, very good news".
Derek said, "would you like to maybeeeeee go out tomorrow night, well that is if we aren't called out on another case"?, she said, "I would love to go out with you tomorrow night". Derek said, "well I'll get off here and I'll see you tomorrow, okay"?, she said, "sounds good to me my Hershey's kiss" causing them both to laugh and it was only a few minutes before the call ended.
The next couple of hours flew by and soon it was time for Penelope to grab her things and head toward the elevator so that she could go home and soak in a tub filled with bubbles. when she got home a little time later she called and talked to Hank and Fran before climbing into a tub filled with bubbles so that she could soak the day away.
Sometime later she changed into her night clothes and pulled the covers back on her bed and climbed in and rolled over onto her side and smiled as she whispered Derek's name. She then closed her eyes and it didn't take long before she was sleeping peacefully and dreaming of the man that had stolen her heart, one Derek Michael Morgan.
