Two's Company And Three's A Family-Ch 14
The next morning Penelope woke up to the sound of her cell beeping to let her know that she had a text message, she yawned and reached over onto her bedside table and grabbed her cell. She smiled as she saw that her message was from Derek, she felt her heart racing as she read, " GOOD MORNING SWEETNESS, CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU TONIGHT, LOVE, YOUR HOTSTUFF".
As she laid there smiling, she still couldn't believe that she, that Penelope Grace Garcia techno nerd was dating the hottest man she had ever laid eyes on. She then threw back the covers and climbed out of bed, she quickly grabbed her clothes and headed toward her bathroom for a shower.
After finishing her shower she got dressed and headed through to her kitchen to grab herself a quick cup of coffee and a muffin before heading out to work. The ride to the BAU didn't take long and soon she was stepping off of the elevator and making her way toward her lair so that she could get her babies up and running for the day.
Penelope sat down in her chair and sighed happily because her life was falling into place nicely and she couldn't have been happier about it because she had an amazing job, wonderful friends/family and the most amazing boyfriend ever so what more could a girl ask for.
She was then pulled from her thoughts when she heard a knock on her door, she said, "come in", the door opened to reveal JJ and Emily standing there, she quickly waved them in and said, "come in girlies, come in, come in" causing the two women to laugh as they stepped into her office.
Penelope said, "welcome back ladies", JJ said, "good to be back Garcie, good to be back", Emily said, "thanks for all of your help, if it weren't for you and your mad skills we wouldn't have caught our unsub and we wouldn't have been able to save our victims".
She smiled and said, "I'm glad that I was able to help", JJ said, "the reason that we are here is that we wanted to see if you would like to grab lunch with us later"?, Penelope said, "yeah, sure, that sounds like fun girlies"
JJ and Emily smiled at each other and then at Penelope before JJ said, "well we have to get back to our paperwork but how about we meet at the elevators at noon"?, Penelope said, "sounds like a plan to me ladies" causing JJ and Emily to nod their heads yes in agreement before they turned around and headed toward the door.
Penelope sighed and turned back to her computers as she continued to get things ready for her busy work day and it was only a matter of a few minutes before she was pulled into several searches for B team and those searches kept her busy until it was time for her to meet JJ and Emily at the elevators so they could head out to lunch
During their lunch the girls laughed and talked and talked and talked as they got to know each other even better than they had before and soon they were even talking about outfits for her to wear on her date tonight with Derek.
All too soon though it was time for them to head back to work and Penelope couldn't wait for the work day to end so that she could head home and get ready for her date with Derek. She had no idea what he had planned but just thinking about spending time alone with him was making her blush and making her heart race.
Over the past 6 to 8 weeks she had met, got to know and fell in love with Derek and his adorable son and now she couldn't imagine her life without him in it. She was thrust back into work when B team needed additional searches done to help them with their case and those searches kept her busy until it was time for her to head home to get ready for her night out with her hotstuff.
