Two's Company And Three's A Family-Ch 18
The next morning Penelope opened her eyes and smiled as she looked at the sexy man laying naked in bed beside her, she still couldn't believe that they had spent the night making love. After their initial nap that lasted about an hour they woke up and made love 3 other times before finally falling into a deep and much needed sleep.
As she laid there smiling at his sleeping face he said, "morning beautiful", she blushed and said, "I'll show you a good morning hotstuff" as her lips descended down on hers. He rolled her over onto her back and slid between her thighs and just as he was getting ready to thrust home their cells started ringing.
Derek said, "you have got to be kidding me, we are suppose to be on down time for a few days" as he rolled over and grabbed his cell, he looked up and said, "mine's pretty boy". Penelope grabbed her cell and said, "mine's Jayje" as they both hit talk.
Derek said, "Morgan" at the same time as Penelope said, "Garcia", they looked at each other and weakly smiled before saying in unison, "I'll be right there". Derek sighed and said, "get dressed and I'll take you home so that you can get ready for work", she grinned and leaned in and kissed his lips passionately and when they pulled apart she said, "thank you for last night, it was amazinggggg".
He laughed and said, "I agree, it was amazing and it was amazing all because of you sweetness" and his lips found hers again in another kiss. Penelope reluctantly pulled away and said, "we don't have time for this nowwww" as she threw the sheet back and grabbed her clothes and threw them on so she could go home and grab a shower before heading to work.
On the ride to her apartment it was decided that they would ride in together and that she would drive his truck back to her place and keep it until they returned home. After a quick shower and a change of clothes the new lovers were now heading to the BAU for briefing for another grueling case.
When they stepped off of the elevator JJ and Emily looked up and saw that the two of them had walked in together, the girls looked at each other and grinned knowing that Derek and Penelope had spent the night together.
Hotch walked out of his office and said, "we've got a bad one", the team looked at each other and sighed as they headed up the stairs and down the corridor that led to the round table room. The briefing lasted about 15 minutes and then after giving Penelope her orders they heard Hotch's famous words, "wheels up in 30"
Everybody quickly exited the round table room and headed to grab their go bags so that they could meet everybody at the elevator to head to the landing strip. Derek grabbed his go bag and then walked his baby girl to her office where he dropped his bag and pulled her into his arms.
He looked down at her and said, "I love you baby girl", she smiled and said, "I love you to hotstuff, now go be free my love and come back safe to me and Hank". He kissed her lips and said, "I will" and then before walking out of her office he gave her several more kisses, he winked at her and said, "one more for the road" and she laughed as his lips descended on hers one final time before he walked away.
She walked over to her computer and sat down and started delving into the information super highway in search of the answers that her team needed in order to find the sick unsub that was setting the fires that were killing innocent first responders
The team was about halfway to Texas when her face appeared on their computer screens, Derek said, "give us something good goddess", she laughed and said, "so far the only thing I have been able to find out is that this unsub is slippery".
Reid said, "does that mean that you weren't able to find anything out about our victims?", she said, "now now boy wonder I didn't say that" and went into the information that she had been able to find. When she was done Hotch said, "keep looking Garcia", she said, "will do bossman, Garcia out" and Derek watched as she winked at him before her beautiful face disappeared from the screen
Hotch looked at the team and said, "when we land Derek I want you and Reid to head to the latest crime scene and see what you can find, who knows, maybe you can see something that the others missed". Derek and Reid both nodded their heads yes in agreement as Hotch said, "Em, I want you and JJ to head to the ME's office and see what you can find out and Dave and I will head to the PD to see if their have been anymore fires"
The team then sat back and looked at crime scene pictures and discussed scenarios as their flight to Texas continued.
