Chapter 7
Hi, i'll post 1 or 2 chapters a week starting now, I've written up to chapter 9 and this is chapter 7
So please forgive me if I only post 1 chapter a week I have irl problems so writing has slowed down. Hope you enjoy this chapter
The nest morning Kakashi, Sasuke and Sakura had woken up and had breakfast, Naruko was asleep and tired so they let her sleep
"Kakashi you think Zabuza might attack soon?" Sakura asked "to be honest I have no idea, he's wounds were pretty bad" Kakashi said as he scratched his chin "tsunami-san tell Naruko-chan we're at the bridge when she wakes up" Kakashi said as they took tazuna and left for the bridge
"The bridge is almost done it's a matter of time before this country is free" tazuna said visibly happy "your right let's hope we don't go up against Zabuza and the hunter nin" Kakashi said as they walked,
They made it to the bridge and saw workers dead, tazuna ran up to one of the dying workers "what happened here?! Who did this?!" Tazuna asked as the worker looked at him fearfully "d-demon, tazuna you shouldn't have come her-"the worker said before he died in tazuna's arms, then a heavy mist came up
"Zabuza!" Kakashi said as Zabuza and the hunter nin appeared "I'll take Kakashi ,you take care of the uchiha brat" Zabuza said as he lunged at Kakashi swinging his sword "yes Zabuza-Sama" haku said as he threw sinbon at Sasuke,
Kakashi dodged as Zabuza tried to take off his head, Kakashi unveiled his sharingan and started trying to block and parry Zabuza's hits,meanwhile
"Katon:Housenka no jutsu (Phoenix flower jutsu)"Sasuke said as he shot multiple small fireballs at haku who dodged and hit him with sinbon 'these stupid sinbon' Sasuke thought as he threw some kunai at haku but he blocked them with his sinbon
Meanwhile at tazuna's house
Naruko ad just woken up and saw the time "WHY DIDNT ANYONE WAKE ME UP!?" She yelled as she got up, and got ready then she heard shouting,
Tsunami was met by two thugs that were sent by gato to take her hostage "so gato-sama want's tazuna's daughter as a hostage" one of the thugs said as inari came around the corner "inari don't come here! Run" tsunami yelled as inari hide "it's go before gato-sama get's pissed" the thug said as they Tied tsunami's hands behind her back and started walking then
"Let my oka-san go!" Inari yelled as he ran at them with a knife "you have a death wish kid?!" The thugs asked as they Swung there swords but only cut though a log
"What were you saying about hero's?" Naruko asked as she put down tsunami on the ground, she substituted inari with a log and grabbed tsunami, as the two thugs turned around to attack Naruko, two of Naruko's clone's kicked them on the back of there head's knocking them out
"Inari where are the others?" Naruko asked "there at the bridge" Inari said as Naruko darted off, back at the bridge. meanwhile, haku and Sasuke were locked in heated combat, as they locked blades "I'll win no matter how many sinbon you throw at me" Sasuke said "very well take this"
"Hyōton: Tsurara tsubame (icicle swallow)" haku said as he made a thousand needles of ice 'great job Sasuke you and your mouth' Sasuke thought as he got ready as the needles rained down, Sasuke quickly substituted himself with a log and kicked haku on the mask hard, haku fell in front of Zabuza "I'm sorry Zabuza-Sama I'll finish this quickly" haku said as he got up and started to concentrate his chakra
'What is he doing?!' Sasuke thought as haku started making ice mirrors all around Sasuke 'what kind of jutsu is that?!' Kakashi thought as Zabuza said " haku is getting serious, if I were you I wouldn't have high hopes of you student living" Zabuza then got ready to start there fight.
Haku then started bombarding Sasuke with attacks, Sasuke was completely helpless then Sakura threw a kunai at haku who grabbed the kunai, then threw some shuriken at Sakura which haku blocked with her sinbon "haku what's the meaning of this?" Zabuza asked "Zabuza-sama let me handle this" haku said "so you mean no Interruptions ok, good" Zabuza said as he continued his battle with Kakashi,
Then Naruko came running and threw some kunai at haku, haku had to block the kunai as he got out
"Yo guys what did I miss?" Naruko asked as she got ready to fight, "Naruko-Chan you got here just in time" Kakashi said as he blocked one of Zabuza's streaks 'ok if I attack from the inside and Naruko-Chan attacks from the outsid-' Sasuke thought as he turned around and saw Naruko inside the dome "Naruko-Chan you're supposed to surprise you're enemy not you're ally" Kakashi said as he sighed
"Naruko-Chan you fool!" Sasuke said "what do you mean fool? I came here to help you" Naruko said as she pouted "your now trapped in here like me, you have to be more careful your a ninja" Sasuke said as he started making hand signs "wait what are you doing?" Naruko asked as Sasuke said "Katon: Goukakyuu no jutsu!"
As he shot fire from his mouth he noticed the mirrors weren't melting "What the hell!?" Sasuke exclaimed in disbelief "you can't melt my mirrors with that little firepower" haku said as Naruko said "Kage banshin no jutsu! (Shadow clone)" as she made a bunch of clones and started attacking the mirrors,
Haku then destroyed all of them with brutal efficiency, and then started attacking them with his sinbon "I knew it, it's a kekegenkai!" Kakashi said as he paled "hahahaha your students have no Chance!" Zabuza said as he laughed "I saved haku from death as he was freezing to death, alone, without dream" Zabuza said
"it was not my intention to become a Shinobi, if one is to follow the shinobi way they must have no mercy, so please do not blame me if I have to take your lives" haku said coldly as he began to attack, Zabuza took the opportunity to try and stab Kakashi in his sharingan but Kakashi grabbed the kunai "even if you defeat me you beat haku, he was just a street boy when I found him but I trained him in the most Advanced forms of killing, I taught him everything I know, and the boy picked up quickly, soon enough he was able to kill even the most skilled shinobi, I made a tool that can destroy anything" Zabuza said as he continued attacking Kakashi.
"Naruko-Chan DONT!" Sasuke said as Naruko made more clones and haku destroyed them 'wait I saw his movements, maybe I can track him' Sasuke thought as Naruko said "again!" Naruko made more clones and the same thing happened 'Yes! I can track him!' Sasuke thought as he got ready Naruko tried again the same thing happened again but this time,
"Katon:Goukakyuu no jutsu! (great fireball)" Sasuke said as the fire barely didn't hit haku 'he tracked my movements that's impossible! It must've been a coincidence' haku thought "Naruko-Chan trying running out of the dome" Sasuke said as she gave him a confused look "ok Sasuke-kun" she said as she ran "oh no you don't" haku said as he shot from the mirror at Naruko then "Katon:Goukakyuu no jutsu (great fireball)" Sasuke said as it missed haku, and Naruko was hit back by haku
"Naruko-Chan try it again" Sasuke said as Naruko tried again "that's the last time you'll move" haku said as he shot at Naruko and threw several sinbon at Sasuke "Katon:Goukakyuu no jutsu (great fireball)" again it missed and Sasuke was hit in the leg and more places as Naruko was hit back,
"Kirigakura no jutsu! (Hidden must jutsu)" Zabuza said as the mist got heavier and Zabuza disappeared 'where is he gonna strike?' Kakashi thought "Tazuna-san!" Kakashi shunshined in front of tazuna "let's too late" zabuza said as he swung his sword,
Naruko was down and Sasuke picked up a sinbon and started blocking the incoming sinbon 'he's not just trying to protect himself, he's trying to protect his friend, and yet he's tracking my moves ' haku thought "Naruko-Chan you better not pass out again" Sasuke said as he threw the sinbon a one of the mirrors "most impressive uchiha-san your reflexes are good" haku said as he threw a bunch of sinbon at them, Sasuke grabbed Naruko and jumped out of the way
'He's predicting all of my moves, how?' Haku thought as he noticed the new reawakened sharingan 'those eyes, he's awakened his sharingan!, I'll have to finish this fast I'm running out of chakra ' Haku thought alarmed 'I can see all of his movements! It's time I win this battle!' Sasuke thought as he got ready
"Huh Kakashi you let your concern for does brats get in the way of this battle, ohh well you'll have more then enough time to apologise to them in the next life" Zabuza said laughing as Kakashi clenched his new chest wound
"He said Sasuke-kun will die! No I'll not let him kill Sasuke-kun or that Naruko-Baka!" Sakura said "you'll never be able to kill Uzumaki Naruko the number one energetic and idiotic ninja or Uchiha Sasuke!" Kakashi said with faith in his students "wait uchiha Sasuke?!" Zabuza asked a little worried "yes his full name is uchiha Sasuke!" Kakashi said "I heard one boy survived the uchiha massacre but so did haku, nothing can stop him" Zabuza said as he got ready
Haku threw more sinbon at a downed Naruko as he shot out of the mirror, Sasuke jumped in front of Naruko taking the fatal blow as he grabbed haku and threw him back at the mirror "Sasuke-kun w-what have you done?" Naruko said as she tried to break out of her shock "Naruko-Chan you idiot" Sasuke said as he fell back as Naruko grabbed him "w-why Sasuke-kun why did you do this?" Naruko said as she tried to hold back her tears "I-I don't know my body moved on it's own" Sasuke said as the light in his eyes were slowly Deming "I promised myself I would kill nee-san but my dream dies with me…" Sasuke said as he wiped a tear from Naruko's face
"…but you still have your dream…" Sasuke said as he died in Naruko's arms "he protected his friend with the power he didn't even know he had, he was a true shinobi worthy of honour and respect" haku said "shut up, shut up, just shut UP!" Naruko yelled in rage and sorrow "I'll damn rip you to shreds!" Naruko said as red demonic chakra started pouring out of her and healing her wounds ' her chakra is visible and so demonic, what is she!?' Haku thought alarmed
"I know that chakra, no way she's using it!" Kakashi said as he paled "that chakra it's too much for him where is it coming from?!" Zabuza asked worried "all right I need to finish this fast" Kakashi took some of his blood from his wound and swiped it on a scroll "kuchiyose no jutsu (summoning jutsu)" Kakashi said as he summoned some of his dogs
Naruko slowly put down Sasuke's body as she then ran at haku, he went to a mirror above Naruko and then tried to hit her from above and Naruko dodged and then punched haku hard on the mask, launching him out of the dome, Naruko jumped after him as haku stood up his mask falling of as naruko ran at him "I'm sorry Zabuza-sama I failed you" as his mask fell off Naruko's punch stopped inches from his face "didn't you vow to kill me for killing your friend?" Haku said as Naruko punched him knocking him back
"Is that all the strength you can put behind that punch? If so you'll never keep your vow" Haku asked "I live to protect and serve one person, it's not compassion but it's a betrayal of your life's very purpose, day after day of pain of nothing" haku said "speck for yourself working for a person who doesn't know the meaning of honour" Naruko said she tried to stay calm "my father and mother were farmers and very poor, our life was hard but we were content, but because something long before I was born everything changed everything" haku said as he remembered "what happened what are you talking about" Naruko asked as haku continued "people of kiri had come to hate and fear people with kekegenkai because the clans were mostly used as mercenaries and hitmen, these clans fought in countless battles, so when pace was finally instated the clans went into hiding, one day after I discovered my kekegenkai and showed it to my mother my father killed her and tried to kill me, but I killed them" haku said a sad look on his face "and that's what I hate needless killing" Naruko was shocked 'he's just like me' Naruko thought "I have failed you Zabuza-sama" haku said
"Fanged pursuit" Kakashi said as his dogs began to tunnel, Zabuza jumped back but he was bitten and pinned down "I thought if I can't see you, I'll just smell you" Kakashi said "you let me attack you so you could track me" Zabuza said with rage in his voice "look were your ambitions got you, I hired thug for a pig like gato, now you shall die a thug!" Kakashi said as he did some hand signs
"Chidori!" Kakashi Formed a layer of lightning on his hand "I will not let you kill tazuna, he's a brave man and is trying to free his country" Kakashi said
"Your not a slave your a human being!" Naruko said "I'm a broken tool, a Blunt knife, I am of use to no one anymore, so please let me die, kill me!" Haku said coldly
Inari was running though the village and banging at door "uncle kahie come with me to the bridge!" Inari yelled "no Inari I'm done fighting, fighting is for heroes and fighting will only Bring us what, only more fallen heroes and regrets!" He said "well I don't want to live a life of regrets either and that's why we have to fight, you, me, ota-san, jiji everyone has to fight! Hiding and cry won't make the fears go away!" Inari said as he walked away
'What do I do now not one of them will open there doors to listen' inari thought as he ran though the village.
"Why do you hesitate?" Haku asked as Naruko clenched her teeth "is that all you think? It's that simple?" Naruko asked as haku looked at her with a pleading look! As Naruko got ready haku noticed Zabuza was about to get killed, as Naruko threw a kunai at haku, he blocked it "I'm sorry but I can't die just yet" haku said as he disappeared in a mirror
Kakashi had just killed haku who protected Zabuza with his body "the boy threw himself at my attack" Kakashi said in absolute disbelief "well done haku" Zabuza said he released the kirigakura no jutsu and tried to hack Kakashi in half though haku, Kakashi dodged and put the body of the boy down 'he'd hack me though the poor boy!" Kakashi thought in rage,
"Naruko-Baka over here! Where's Sasuke-kun?" Sakura asked as she tears on Naruko's face she knew what happened, she ran post Naruko and hugged the body of Sasuke as she cried,
Zabuza ran at Kakashi with every intention of slicing him in two, Kakashi kicked him in the face "I have had it with you Zabuza, I will kill you right here, right now!" Kakashi said Zabuza attacked a pissed off Kakashi again and Kakashi stabbed him in the arm, again Zabuza tried one handed "you have no idea what real strength is!" Kakashi said as he stabbed his other arm "look at you, you can't even make hand signs" Kakashi said
"I must say I'm very impressed" gato said as he walked with an army of thugs "gato I don't understand what's the meaning of this" Zabuza asked "you will die here and if you can be so kind as kill some of these thugs I would appreciate it" gato said as he grinned evilly
"Well, well Kakashi it looks like we have a common enemy" Zabuza said "that reminds me your little punk nearly broke my wrist" gato said as he kicked haku's body "Get away!" Naruko yelled "that's enough use your head Naruko" Kakashi said "you and haku were together for years doesn't that mean anything to you!?" Naruko asked Zabuza "it's the end of the road his usefulness is at an end" Zabuza said "if you said that your even worse then I thought, haku lived for you, served you, he used as his own body to protect you when he had no strength left, DOESN'T THAT MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU!?" Naruko yelled "that's enough Naruko-Chan calm down" Kakashi said "you talk to much, but your words cut deep, even deeper then any blade, he felt pain and sorrow and curse'em I feel them too now" Zabuza said as tears ran down his face
"Kid give me a kunai" Zabuza said as Naruko obliged "If I can't go where haku is I'm taking that son of a bitch WITH ME!" Zabuza yelled as he ran through the thugs killing them with brutal efficiency as he got stabbed in the back some times, he slashed gato's neck then stabbed him straight through the heart, as he walked back to where haku's body was he collapsed a few feet away "I'm sorry haku, if you can…please forgive me" he said as Kakashi came over "k-Kakashi please put me next to haku" Zabuza begged "sure" Kakashi did as he was asked "I know you didn't kill the boy you were always so soft, and I know I can't go where you are but I hope I can see you one last time-" Zabuza said as he passed away next to haku,"oi don't get too comfortable we need to get paid and if gato's dead, we'll just take what the town has" one of the thugs said as an arrow hit the ground in front of him
"Inari!"Naruko said as she saw Inari and the other people of the village, thugs where a little concerned but then, "Kage banshin no jutsu!" Kakashi and Naruko yelled as they made as many clones as they could, the thugs started running to the ship, as they left the crowd cheered
Sasuke woke up with a headache 'I'm not dead?' Sasuke thought as he saw Sakura and tazuna "what happened" Sasuke asked as he got up "don't get up your hurt" Sakura said as Sasuke asked "where's Naruko-Chan?" His particular question was answered when a Orange blur shot at him and pinned him to ground "Naruko-Chan your ok-" before he could finish he was caught in a soul stealing kiss by Naruko
Sasuke's brain wasn't quite working right and he blushed deep red as he melted into the kiss, Sakura's jaw hit the ground as she stared in shock and disbelief, she was heart broken as she quietly walked away, as the kiss ended "why did you do that you stupid teme-kun?, why?" Naruko asked as tears freely ran down her face "I don't know my body moved on it's own" Sasuke said as Naruko said "I love you so much" as she kissed him again making him blush even more, "I love you to" Sasuke said as he got up and patted her head"you two love birds had enough let's go" Kakashi said as both of them blushed
Later that afternoon…
Kakashi and his team had buried Zabuza and haku making there Graves with wooden crosses and stabbed the kubikiribōchō at the head of the grave and helped tazuna with the bridge, after that they went to tazuna's house, as Naruko and Sasuke talked Sakura sat alone and thought 'how could that Naruko-Baka take my Sasuke-kun how?!' She was heartbroken and Kakashi could see it, he knew if he didn't do anything things could go badly
"Yo Sakura anything wrong?" Kakashi asked as Sakura just looked at him sadly "how could Sasuke-kun take that Naruko-Baka over me? What does she have I don't?" Sakura asked as Kakashi felt her pain "he knew her for a long time Sakura, it's not physical attraction, they have a deep mental connection" Kakashi said as Sakura continued to listen "maybe Sasuke wasn't meant for you, you have to find someone you truly love" Kakashi said "but I do truly love him" Sakura said as Kakashi sighed
"Sakura trust me you'll find someone, so don't follow Sasuke, he has someone he loves" Kakashi said as he patted her shoulder, later after they finished eating dinner Naruko kissed Sasuke "goodnight, see you tomorrow Sasuke-kun" Naruko said as she left for her room Sasuke just blushed and went to his room, Kakashi eye smiled as he saw them "they grow up so fast" he said as he wiped anime tears from his eye
The next morning…
They left as inari cried and hugged Naruko "nii-san do you have to leave so soon?" Inari asked between sobs "yea,but I promise I'll see you later, dattebayo! " Naruko said with a thumbs up as they started to leave, Sasuke and Naruko were holding hands as they walked happily together on the newly opened (great Naruko bridge) named in honour of the who inspired them to fight back
"you two are so cute" Kakashi said as he patted them on the head as they blushed, the rest of the way to the village Sasuke and Naruko talked, as the into the village Naruko kissed Sasuke on the cheek "i'll see you later Sasuke-kun!" Naruko said as she left a blushing uchiha behind
