I Trust No One
I got worried that I was never going to reunite with my best friend Val and my dumb older brother, but thankfully we managed to meet up once again. Although let's be honest the scenario we're in is less than desirable. Being surrounded by multiple killer bees that I believe are called Beedrills. We're so close to our deaths, yet I'm here laughing on the inside so cynically.
As I continued to daydream on the inside, I heard Ralts commanding me to take cover behind a tree as this weird egg-like baby Pokemon is about to discharge electricity or something. Well who am I to argue, I know nothing about this very unscientific world I'm in.
Still, my claustrophobia caused me to panic and make the situation unbearable for everyone.
"Ew don't touch me Jun! Ew get Smellanor away from me! Ew ew ew!"
"Please stop Kiki!" Val begged. "We need to stick close together or else it could be dangerous!"
As soon as Val stopped talking, I heard a large explosion which sounded like an electrical current discharging and zapping everything nearly. It also sounded like the Beedrills were buzzing in pain, but that sound faded instantly.
When things finally became quiet, I quickly got up and took a peak at the area we were just in. Every single Beedrills disappeared! It's like they all died, vanished into thin air. If they did die, their deaths would be different than death in my world.
Since the situation is seemingly safe for now, the first thing Mizuto and Val did is go up to the egg-like Pokemon to comfort it. I stayed behind with Kōki, Jun, and Smellanor. No, it isn't the fact that I'm actually scared of the egg-like Pokemon, nor did I care if I startle it. I just didn't want to be close to my dumb brother.
The egg-like Pokemon began to wail and jumped into my brother's shoulders hugging him tightly. What a baby, just like my brother. Just a few minutes later, the Pokemon began to fall asleep.
"Aw look Togepi is so adorable!" Val blushed as they got closer to us. "It's also such a powerful Pokemon! It completely drove away those Beedrills all by themself!"
"Is everyone okay?" Kōki questioned. "Is that Pokemon going to be okay? I don't want to see them hurt."
"I'm not sure, Kōki," Mizuto replied. "I'm a bit worried, the move must have taken a lot of their energy. However, they seem to be sleeping very peacefully right now. So maybe we don't need to worry too much."
"You're right," Kōki replied.
"Val, I'm so glad you're safe!" Jun exclaimed giving Val a huge hug. "I couldn't do anything properly worrying about your safety!"
"Aw big brother," Val replied, "I'm a big kid now, I'll be fine! But I really missed you too! I had zero doubts you'd be alright though! You're my big brother for a reason!"
"Well, at least we won't be separated now," Jun replied. "What kind of big brother would I be then, right?"
"Aw, don't say that…" Val perturbed.
"So big sis," Ralts interrupted, "I'm sorry to interrupt. I just want to know if you want to know what move Togepi used.
"No no you didn't interrupt! I'm all ears Ralts!"
"So the move Togepi used is called Metronome. If someone uses Metronome, they will wiggle their fingers around and it randomly draws in energy to produce any random move. I'm still not sure about the science of properly controlling a Metronome though. I'm just glad that it chose a very powerful move."
"Do you think it'll drain too much of Togepi's energy?" Mizuto questioned. "I just hope Togepi is actually resting like a baby and not in some sort of pain right now."
"I think Togepi will be fine Mimi," Ralts replied with assurance.
"Alright I'm glad, I can't see my poor baby all hurt."
"I'm sure Togepi will be glad to have such a loving mother like you, Mimi!" Ralts complimented.
"Hey, are you losers done?" I asked annoyed. "Stop it with this mother bs and all! Just shut up! No not a word from you Val!"
Val nodded in sadness as they stayed silent.
"I do wonder where must we go now?" Kōki questioned. "I wish Gardevoir would appear and help us out."
"I almost feel like Gardevoir can only possess Eleanor for some reason," Jun remarked. "But seeing how Eleanor is still unconscious, I don't see Gardevoir possessing her to tell us directions anytime soon."
"I'm really concerned," Val said. "It's been how long and yet Eleanor is still unconscious? Are we sure she's alright? Oh please be alright Eleanor!"
"Why are you making it such a big deal?" I questioned irritated. "Who cares if she's unconscious, she'll just burden us if she's conscious. Probably blabbering about how rich she is and how her cousin is such a famous celeb. If she does wake up, I'm going to knock her unconscious again!"
"Hey Mizuki, I understand you and she has a bad history," Kōki replied. "But you can tell both Hikari and Valeri are very concerned with her well-being. I hope you just try to put your difference aside and understand others' feelings. I hope I didn't say anything that'll offend you."
"No no you're actually right Kōki. You're very mature and wise, like a true big brother. Hoshi is really lucky to have you as a big brother. So smart, so handsome, so…."
"Um, thank you I guess," Kōki interrupted blushing and shying away.
"So Val and Mizuto," I said, "Eleanor is clearly alright since she's still breathing. Jun felt her pulse a while before we all met up again. She's going to be alright. She's probably just in a deep slumber."
"I'm so glad to hear," Val sighed in relief. "I think maybe for tonight, we should consider finding some shelter. Or at least a comfy place to rest. If only we could find somewhere to have a nice shower or bath. I feel icky."
"At least you actually smell really nice Val," Mizuto said giving me a stink eye. "Unlike a certain someone here, ew."
"Hey want to fight?" I questioned with my fists up. "How about you be a man and fight me Mizuto!?"
"For the last time, my name is Hikari! If you want to fight, then bring it on!"
Just as we got close to fighting each other, Val stepped in to try to push us aside.
"Please don't Mimi and Kiki! I beg of you. We're all stranded in an unknown world. We should focus on trying to leave and reunite with our families as soon as possible. Please stop fighting, if not for each other, for me please?"
Not wanting to hurt Val's feelings any further, I complied.
"I'm sorry Val," both Mizuto and I said in unison.
"I wish I could give the two of you a timeout," Val said. "Back on topic. I think we really need to find a place to rest. It's getting dark right now. I'm tired from walking for so long. I'd also really like to take a nice shower."
"Big sis, if you want to take a bath," Ralts said. "I recommend we try to find a place to camp by the beaches. I can show you the way there. I'm sorry I didn't teleport closer there. Had I known…"
"Hey, that's alright Ralts!" Val interrupted. "Honestly, if you teleported us somewhere else, we may have never met Togepi nor seen the others again. So I thank you for that! So shall we have a vote on where we'll camp?"
"I'm in agreement with Val," Mimi replied.
"Me too!" Jun and Kōki agreed in unison.
"I mean I don't really know where else to go," I replied.
"Well looks like we're all in agreement! Ralts please lead the way!" Val commanded.
Ralts left Val's arms and lead us to a beach. The weather went from a nice cool breeze to more chilly, but I didn't mind. I wear shorts and t-shirts during the cold winters in Sinnoh, not going to let this breeze bother me.
"Finally, we don't have to carry Eleanor anymore!" Barry exclaimed in relief. "I legit cannot believe how heavy she is!"
"Ow, my back hurts!" Kōki complained.
"Hey, do you want me to crack your back, Kōki?" I offered.
"Um, sure," he replied awkwardly.
"Wow look at you two gentlemen!" Mizuto exclaimed. "I'm very proud that the two of you took care of Eleanor this entire time. Have any of you eaten yet?"
"Stupid Jun here saw this red berry that looks somewhat like a tomato with spikes," I replied while helping Kōki crack his back. "Without even thinking he took a bite out of it and literally ended up breathing fire. He had a swollen lip and had a very difficult time talking for quite a while. I mean it was hilarious though, you should have seen his face haha!"
"Are you okay from all that big bro?" Val questioned as they brought Jun another berry with a yellow colour to it. "It hurts me to see you hungry and tired, here eat this! I promise it's safe and nutritious!"
"Aw thanks, Val," Jun replied taking the berry and giving Val a pat on the head. "I'm legit starving."
"If you're really hungry," Ralts said, "I recommend we save the berries for later. There are fish in the ocean nearby and they fill you up more! Besides berries can come in very important if any of us are injured."
"Great thinking!" Val complimented. "Does anyone have any idea how to create a fishing net?"
"I do," Mizuto replied, "but I don't think we have the materials. I actually think the best course of action would be to create a spear of some sort and catch the fish that way. Besides, it's getting chilly and I only have one blanket. I think we should get some wood and rocks to start a fire."
"That sounds like a great idea!" Kōki exclaimed. "Shall we go and collect the materials?"
"Kōki and Jun," Mizuto replied, "I think you two should rest. Thank you for your hard work today. Please also take care of Eleanor and Togepi as they rest. Val, you should rest as well, you really helped me out a ton today thank you. Mizuki and I should be the ones who gather the material."
"Aw, you don't need to thank me!" Val blushed. "I appreciate your care, but I really want to gather some wood. Maybe you can gather some rocks and Kiki and I will gather some wood? I think that's the best way!"
"As long as I don't need to be around my dumb brother!" I replied. "Let's go when you're ready Val!"
"Alright, let's go Ralts!"
"Right behind you big sis!"
As Val and I got into the woods, Val patted my shoulders trying to signal my attention.
"Kiki, I think we really need to talk."
"Yeah what is it?"
"I just feel very uncomfortable with the disrespect you show your sister."
"You mean brother."
"See not this again! Please Kiki, I love you and you're like my bestie, but you need to respect Mimi more. You can tell she gets so hurt by the actions of your parents and yourself. Even if you refuse to call her your sister, at least stop calling her your brother. Don't call her by her dead name either please! Just call her Mimi going forward. If not for her, for me please?"
"I'm so sorry," Ralts interrupted. "What is a dead name?"
"I'll try to explain it as best as I can," Val replied. "So Mimi and I were technically born as boys. I can only speak for myself, but I also think I speak for Mimi as well. So what I say about myself should apply to Mimi as well. Growing up I always knew I was born in the wrong body. The moment I was allowed to be my true self, feminine, girly, etc. I became happier and more in tune with my own body. I was allowed to be my true self much earlier than Mimi though, thanks to my super supportive mother and big brother. Mimi didn't really have that fortune though."
"Oh I think I understand," Ralts replied, "so both of you were boys before, but are girls now?"
"Pretty much sums it up!" Val giggled.
"It's sad that you two are just feeding into Mimi's delusions," I replied shaking my head.
"Mizuki, I've always wondered, why were you so supportive of my transition but so against Mimi's? You even defended me from your own mother, but you support your mother's abusive actions against Mimi? I don't quite understand. I just feel it's not because you're inherently transphobic, but instead dealing with internal struggles that you're not telling me about."
"Val leave me alone," I demanded. "Let's just pick up some wood and get back to the camp."
"I just hope you find peace deep inside. It's not good to bottle up all of your emotions."
"Yeah shut up already Val!" I lashed out.
Without another word, Val just stood there sad with Ralts comforting them. I didn't want to yell at my best friend, but I really think Val just needs to stop being so nosy and stop trying to care about my life. I'm going to do things the way I want.
When I finished collecting enough wood, I signalled Val that I wanted to go back. Val simply nodded still sad thanks to my yelling.
"Hey look I didn't mean to yell at you," I apologized. "Please understand there's so much going on in my mind. I just wish I had never come here. Like why was I brought here? I find it so suspicious that someone who could just possess another body would just disappear in sight. I don't feel that Gardevoir being has the best intentions."
"Kiki, I understand. I wish I was back home as well just relaxing and not needing to worry about a thing. However, just wishing isn't going to solve our problems. We're facing a dilemma and we need to try our best to resolve it. Please don't lash out your anger at people who don't deserve it, alright?"
"I mean sure, I guess. Still, I don't know who to trust. I definitely do not trust Gardevoir, if she even tries to communicate with us again. What do you think?"
"I think if she wanted to get rid of us, she'd have done so already. If she has the power to suddenly possess Eleanor like that, who knows what other things she's capable of? If she really wanted to get rid of us, I don't think we would have met Ralts and Togepi, two Pokemon clearly wanting to help us."
"I mean she could just be a sadistic monster wanting to toy with us before killing us off you know?"
"I don't agree with you there Kiki, sorry to say. I have trust in Gardevoir and I really hope she can communicate with us again."
"Whatever," I said as we finally reached the others.
"Hey what took you two so long?" Mimi questioned.
"Sorry Mimi," Val replied, "we just got distracted. But Kiki got the wood for the fire and I got enough long wooden sticks that we can use as spears."
"Aw thank you, you two did great! Let's start a fire now. I'll go fishing."
"Hikari, I want to help!" Kōki offered. "I know how to sharpen the edge of the sticks so it can be used as a spear!"
"Aw, thank you Kōki! Alright, I'll let you do your thing as I help Val and Mizuki set up a fire."
Mimi and Val set up the fireplace as I started the fire. Kōki soon finished creating the spears and we all went to gather some fish.
As we began to cook the fish, we have to decide who gets the one blanket Mimi has.
"Okay, Jun seems to have fallen asleep," I claimed, "so let's not let him have a say."
"I can wake him up," Val said. "He really needs to eat something anyways. Hey big bro, I don't mean to disturb you, but you should get some food. We're making fish!"
"Huh?" Jun snorted as he woke up. "Oh hey Val, thanks for waking me up. Sure let's eat, I'm starving!"
"Before we eat, can we all decide who gets the blanket?" Mimi asked. "Remember I only have one here."
"Um, I think Val should get the blanket!" Jun exclaimed.
"I'm indifferent," Kōki replied, "anyone of you can take the blanket. I'll actually decline it so someone else can have it."
"This is really hard for me," Val said. "I mean I'd love a nice cozy blanket myself, but I feel someone here needs it a lot more than me. I actually vote for Eleanor to have the blanket, since she's still unconscious and the youngest one here."
"Ew, anyone but Smellanor!" I complained. "Honestly I agree with Jun, Val you're the shortest one here so you should get it."
"What does my height have anything to do with me getting a blanket?"
"Well silly Val, it's so you can fit into the blanket the easiest. You also deserve it with how kind you are. Besides again, anyone but that bitch Smellanor!"
"Please stop this Mizuki!" Mimi yelled. "There's no reason to argue this. It seems everyone but Kōki and you have voted for Val to have the blanket. Therefore I also vote for Val. I have to actually agree with Mizuki for once that you're the one most in need of a nice warm blanket and you deserve it."
"Alright, I'll take it then," Val replied as Mimi handed Val the blanket.
In a twist of surprise, Val went directly to Eleanor as Val tucked Eleanor into the blanket and also brought her close to the fire.
"Val what are you doing?" Jun questioned. "That's your blanket, not hers!"
"You're right big bro! It is my blanket. That's why I'm going to do what I want with it. I want to keep Eleanor safe and warm, she's still unconscious!"
I honestly cannot comprehend why Val is this selfless. It defies all forms of logic. We as humans are meant to thrive to be the greatest and there is a huge emphasis on the survival of the fittest in nature. Who cares if Eleanor freezes to death? Not me!
"Honestly, I don't know what to say," Mimi said. "But Val you're such a pure-hearted person. It brings tears of joy to my eyes."
"Aw, there's no need to cry!" Val said. "I just want to make sure everyone is safe and sound. Shall we eat now?"
"Yes, I'm starving!" Jun exclaimed as he quickly gobbled down a fish, only to choke on the bones.
"Big brother, are you okay? Does anyone here know the Heimlich maneuver?"
"Um, I do!" Kōki exclaimed rushing to Jun's side to help him out.
"Big bro! You got me all worried! Please chew slowly and eat patiently silly big bro!"
"Alright, I'm sorry for causing a panic," Jun told us.
As everyone else began to eat their fish, I just looked at my fish and stared at it in disgust. Despite my intense hunger having not eaten anything but a small boiled egg this morning, I couldn't fathom myself eating this fish. It just made me want to puke.
"Mizuki, why aren't you eating?" Mimi questioned.
"You know the damn reason why! I can't tolerate this much food!"
"What do you mean this much food?" Mimi questioned in an extreme state of concern now. "All you had all day were veggies and a small egg, that's it! Mother isn't here to control what you can or cannot eat anymore. Please just eat and get your proper nutrients!"
"You don't understand at all, do you? Boys will never understand the situation our stupid mother put me through! I'm going to gag all this food out if I eat it!"
"Kiki, please even if you can't eat it all, can you at least take a few small bites? I don't want to see you collapse from hunger! Would you like a berry instead?"
"Fine I'll take a few small bites and that's it. No berries for me though!"
I took a few nibbles from the fish before tossing it aside. All I wanted to do is sleep.
"I'm heading to bed, see y'all later!" I exclaimed napping on my bag beside the fire. "If anyone wakes me up, you're dead!"
"Alright, good night Kiki! Sweet dreams!"
"Good night my sister!"
"Good night!" Kōki and Jun said in unison.
Without another word, I shut my eyes off and fell asleep very easily. However, the sleep was less than pleasant. I had the most awful nightmare. In my nightmare, I had a dream where I grew up living in my parents basement, while Mimi turned out to be a successful dietitian who started his own nutrition company that focuses on providing proper nutrients to developing countries.
"Absolutely not!" I yelled as I woke up in the middle of the night "There is no way I'm going to allow my stupid brother to become more successful than I am! Oh, my thank goodness it was just a nightmare."
Everyone else is still asleep right now and I'm starving, so I'm sure they won't mind if I eat some berries.
I took one of each berry from Mimi's bag and gobbled them up without a second thought. Oh, they both taste so sweet and soothing. It was going to take time for me to get used to eating more food, but these berries are just so good! Still what I really want is a burger. I see there are ordinary fish in this world. Would there be ordinary cows, pigs, and chickens? I'm really in the mood for some meat, mmmmm.
The berries were delicious, but it made me feel sleepy again. I checked the time on my phone, 4:52. Yeah more rest for me. Actually, I just noticed the strangest thing before I fell asleep again. My phone is at 100% despite being almost dead this morning. I need to figure out this phenomenon first thing in the morning!
I couldn't quite remember my dream, but it clearly wasn't a nightmare this time. Still, my deep slumber was cut short when I heard people yelling my name.
"Wake up Kiki! Please we're under attack!"
I woke up to witness the horror of our camp surrounded by flame. I couldn't quite witness who exactly is attacking us. But it didn't matter, I saw a ball of fire heading my way as I narrowly dodged. Despite dodging the fireball, I could still feel my skin burn.
"Who are you?" I asked crying in pain. "Show yourself and stop attacking like a coward!"
"Who am I?" The voice mocked me back. "How dare you ask who I am? Who are you? What are you doing in our world? Answer now or else I will kill all of you without any remorse!"
"We don't mean any harm!" Mimi exclaimed begging for our attacker to spare us. "Please we were brought into this world by some unknown wormhole and we just want to leave! Do you happen to know someone named Gardevoir?"
"Wormholes? That's exactly how invaders to our world have been coming here! You must be one of them! Take this for your insolence!" It yelled as it sent another ball of flames towards us.
Since we're all surrounded by fire, there is no way for us to escape this huge ball of fire coming our way.
Just as we thought our deaths are imminent, Mimi's Togepi jumped in front of the ball of fire as it prepared this unknown technique where it tried to absorb the attack from the unknown being.
"Togepi, why did you do that?" Mimi probed. "Please you're just going to hurt yourself!"
Togepi unable to talk began to cry as it surprisingly took the attack and pushed it back. Togepi's immense power pushing the ball of fire away caused the attacker to finally reveal himself as he narrowly dodged his own attack. He looks like a humanoid rabbit with white skin. The middle portion of his head has a red hue. His fur seems to include a pair of red pants, and his legs are blue-coloured. It's a very strange colour scheme for sure!
"You dare attack me? A vassal of the great Thundurus? You will die for redirecting my own attack!"
"Please stop master Cinderace!" Ralts begged as our attacker prepared another fireball. "Please I'm begging you, these are my friends. They're innocent I promise you."
"Who are you?" Cinderace asked.
"My name is Ralts. I have lost my family and these humans have protected me and sheltered me. Please understand I was also afraid of them when I first encountered them, but they comforted me and protected me from a swarm of Beedrills. I owe my life to these humans! Don't you fulfill requests for commoner Pokemon like myself? My request is to please spare their lives and see them as innocent. If you're upset about Togepi redirecting your attack, keep in mind they're just a little baby and weren't even commanded by anyone. They just wanted to keep themselves and their friends safe."
Cinderace cancelled his attack as he stood there with his eyes closed thinking. His facial expression definitely did not encourage me, since it looks like he's trying to contain his anger. However, it quickly went from trying to contain his anger to a calm expression. In fact, he even let out a smile.
"Ralts! I accept your request! On one condition!"
Everyone's sudden sigh of relief returned to panicking.
"Yes, master Cinderance?" Ralts questioned.
"There is an item in Thunderwave Cave that I request your so-called friends and saviours fetch for me. If all of you can complete my request, I will believe in what you say. I will then welcome everyone to this place known as Pokemon Square."
"I don't mean to interrupt," Kōki said. "However, what happens if we fail?"
"If you fail then that means I won't have to deal with you!" Cinderace chuckled. "Thunderwave Cave is home to many Electric-Type Pokemon who can zap your very existence away. If you manage to avoid them you will succeed, and if not then you'll be gone from this world. Is that understood?"
All of us nodded as I shivered. Not only does this seem like suicide, but even if we succeed, it just doesn't feel like Cinderace will do as he promised. All of this looks like a trap.
"I see all of you understand and agree," Cinderace said pleased. "Very well, Ralts do you happen to know the way to Thunderwave Cave?"
"Um yes, I do Master Cinderace!"
"Excellent, I will have you lead the way. Once you are done, meet me at the entrance of Thunderwave Cave, as I will then see if you got the right item or not. Goodbye!"
After we waved Cinderace goodbye, he disappeared into thin air!
"Oh my, how did that happen?" Val questioned.
"Cinderace is one of the three vassals of our greater guardian, Thundurus. He is granted special powers to teleport back and forth anywhere he pleases as long as it is on the Air Continent."
"Air Continent?" Mimi questioned.
"That's the name of the continent we're on," Ralts replied. "At least that's what my mommy told me. She said Thundurus is our greater guardian and beneath him is the lesser guardian known as Tapu Koko."
"I don't trust him at all!" I exclaimed. "This must be a trap. He must plan to ambush us."
"Mizuki, we have no choice though…" Mimi sighed.
"I trust him," Val said. "I can understand why he attacked us at first. He was just concerned."
"Why would he want us to fetch some random item that he can get himself with his powers?" I asked. "Like clearly he's up to something."
"I think it's because he wants to see if we are truly trustworthy ourselves," Val replied. "If we do as he says, he'll trust us."
"You're so naive Val," I sighed. "I feel sorry that you're so innocent and misguided."
"Hey don't talk to Val like that!" Jun demanded.
"Oh, how about you just shut up Jun! The last thing I want is to listen to someone as reckless as you!"
"Please everyone, stop fighting!" Mimi begged. "Let's have a quick breakfast before we head off. We still have some berries and fish saved up. Wait a minute, WHO ATE ALL THE BERRIES?"
"Um, I did loser," I burped. "Sorry I was starving last night."
"Oh my god! Oh my god!" Mimi panicked. "Okay calm yourself down Mimi, we still have some fish left. But what if someone gets sick or something, oh no oh no!"
"Hey, Mimi get a hold of yourself!" Jun commanded as he grabbed Mimi's arms. "Listen, stop panicking! We still have food, and let's be honest with how many berries I've seen around the forest, there's still going to be a lot more available for us."
"Yeah you're right Jun, I'm so sorry!"
"Alright, like you said," Jun replied, "let's have some breakfast and head out soon."
Without another word, we all began to eat the fish we had left over from last night. Well at least the others did, I just took a few bites before throwing it away. I can tolerate and gobble sweet foods, but anything with an unpleasant odour like the fish I still gag at.
As we were about to leave after breakfast, I felt a sharp burning pain in my right arm. I tried not to scream or show it off, but Val easily caught attention of it.
"Kiki are you alright? That burn looks horrifying!"
"I'm fine Val, don't worry about me!" I begged. "Oh my god, my arm looks hideous!" I screamed as I saw the patterns of burnt flesh covering my right arm.
"Mimi do you have a first aid kit in your bag?" Val asked.
"I should, let me go check!" Mimi replied as she scurried through her bag throwing out a lot of junk before finding her first aid kit!
"Mimi, do not come close to me!" I demanded. "Do not touch me! Remember what I said about boys touching me!"
"Val, can you help Mizuki with the cooling of her burn and bandaging it?"
"Yes, I can Mimi!"
Val helped cool my burn down with a cool wet cloth. Val made sure to disinfect my arm as well which hurt like shit. Finally, Val applied some lotion and bandaged it up.
"Thanks, Val!" I said.
"Hey, Mizuki is it?" Ralts asked.
"Yeah what do you want?"
"Oh well, I actually know a berry that will help you heal your burn. It's called a Rawst Berry. I don't know exactly where in the forest we can find them, but I can tell you which berry is the Rawst Berry."
"Yeah no, I think I'll be alright."
"Aw why Mizuki?" Ralts questioned disappointed. "I promise it'll help you."
"Because I don't trust you, you idiot! I don't even know why I'm in this stupid world! After what your so-called master did, how can I begin to trust you?"
Ralts simply began to cry instead of replying.
"Kiki how could you?" Val scolded me as they went to comfort Ralts. "Ralts defended us from Cinderace and saved us all. I don't see how we can't trust him. Please just let your guard down for once, the world isn't some evil place full of hatred and malice! The world is full of love and joy!"
"Even if our world is like that, this world sure isn't! You're not going to convince me to follow along with your plan! I'd much rather go on my own way! I don't trust any Pokemon!"
"You're going to get yourself killed if you do!" Mimi cried.
"Better that than to be with you!" I screamed.
As I continued to argue with everyone, I heard a distant moan. The moan sounds super familiar, it came from none other than Eleanor!
As Eleanor began to moan more and more and even mumbled a few words, we all turned our attention to her. She finally got up and asked, "where am I? What happened?"
