Get Me Out of Here!
"Where am I?" What happened?" I questioned just waking up from a slumber that I don't even remember.
The place looks super unfamiliar, it looks like a beach, but far different than Sandgem Beach. I'm surrounded by those hicks, Mizuki, Kōki, Jun, and the two pretty boys Hikari and Valeri. Whatever reason for Mizuki having bandages on her right arm, I'm happy, she deserves it. I also notice that a small toddler with a green bowl cut stood next to Val, while this weird egg-looking thing is next to Mimi. What are these strange things?
"Eleanor, you're awake!" Val cheered. "I was so worried about you! Are you alright?"
"Why would you be worried about me pretty boy? I'm like the richest most beautiful person at camp. How about you worry about yourself first?"
"Eleanor, Val is just concerned!" Kōki exclaimed. "You've been unconscious for hours on end and both Jun and I had to carry you for miles! So please just tell us, are you alright?"
"Wait, what do you mean unconscious? What do you mean I was carried for hours? Where am I? At least answer that you hicks!"
"Smellanor, I've had enough of you bitch!" Mizuki threatened as she came close to me. "Another word from you, and I will kill you!"
"Everyone, please stop fighting!" Val begged. "We've been here for less than a day and we're already fighting so often! Why can't we all just get along?"
"What do you mean here for less than a day?" I questioned. "Please just answer me! I'm scared!"
"Eleanor, just calm down," Mimi said in a soothing voice. "Listen to me, let me explain everything to you."
"You better explain it to me quickly pretty boy!"
"Eleanor, look this will be very hard for you to believe, but we're currently not on Earth."
"You must be joking right? You're delusional pretty boy!"
"Eleanor, can you like not interrupt Mimi please?" Jun scolded me. "Please just listen to her finish, then you can talk."
"Alright you hick, I'll listen."
"Thank you, Jun. Eleanor, do you remember being sucked into a wormhole?"
"Hmmmmm, actually thinking about it I do! I just don't remember what happened after that. So wait, we're really not on Earth anymore?" I asked panicking.
"I'm afraid not," Mimi replied. "Unfortunately the moment you got to this world, you were possessed by this being known as Gardevoir."
"WHAT? How dare this Gardevoir! My beautiful body isn't meant to be controlled and used! Ew, how embarrassing!" I yelled as I got up and began pacing around unable to think straight of the events that had occurred.
"We don't understand why Gardevoir possessed you either and honestly it isn't very nice," Mimi replied. "Still Gardevoir provided us with some useful information. If you'd calm down I can explain it to you."
"Alright, fine I'll relax. Come on hurry up and finish the rest already pretty boy!"
"I'd really appreciate it if you stop calling both Mimi and Val pretty boys!" Jun demanded.
"Or else what doofus?" I smirked. "Yeah, I thought so like you'd hurt a lady like me."
"We're currently in a world full of creatures known as Pokemon," Mimi said. "You see these two Pokemon beside me? This one over here is called Ralts," she said pointing at the toddler with a bowl cut. "The one that I have on my lap is called Togepi."
"These creatures look so ugly!" I exclaimed.
"Big sis am I ugly?" Ralts asked.
"No of course not!" Val comforted Ralts. "She's just being mean, don't listen to her!"
"Wait you can talk?" I questioned Ralts.
"Yeah, we can talk," Ralts replied. "We're Pokemon after all."
"Please tell me this is all a dream!" I screamed.
"Unfortunately, it's not a dream," Mimi replied. "We're in a different world and we have the make the best of it. Pokemon are basically supernatural creatures that have powers beyond our understanding of science. Ralts can teleport people for example. While Togepi has the ability to discharge electricity from their body."
"I legit believe this is all just a bad nightmare and if I go back to bed things will get better!" I exclaimed as I covered my face with my blanket. Albeit, a few minutes later had to deal with the grim reality of my situation.
"You're right, we aren't on Earth anymore!" I cried. "Oh no, what's going to happen to me?"
"Calm down Eleanor," Val said as they got closer to me. "We're all scared and unsure about our future as well. However, I promise you we have a lead into at least securing ourselves a safe place. This Pokemon known as Cinderace promised us that."
"Ooo what safe place?" I questioned. "Are we going to have a nice big mansion with lots of yummy foods and a nice big jacuzzi?"
"Um I'm not sure about the details of our place," Val replied. "But Cinderace requires us to do a task before he'll reward us."
"What task?" I asked. "Count me out of this, if it takes too much effort!"
"If you don't do the task," Mizuki replied, "then you don't get to reap the rewards! You got that stupid bitch?"
"Please no fighting you two!" Mimi begged. "Let's just calm down before we head to our destination where we need to complete a task for Cinderace."
"Well at least tell me what task we need to do! Sheez how hard can it be pretty boy?"
"I'm surprised you're more impatient than my big bro," Val giggled. "Basically we need to fetch him an item known as a Thunder Stone from a place called Thunderwave Cave. Ralts is going to show us the way."
"Do we even know what a Thunderstone looks like?" I questioned.
"I do," Ralts replied. "It's basically a smooth green stone with a lightning symbol on it. They're not common, but we should be able to find one in Thunderwave Cave."
"So Eleanor, are you okay with all of this?" Mimi asked.
"I mean it's not like I really have a choice here, do I? But as I've said I ain't gonna help you guys. I'll come with you guys if the two boys here promise to carry me again like you did when I was unconscious."
"Absolutely not Eleanor!" Jun complained. "We're sick and tired of having to carry you around!"
"Eleanor, please forgive me," Kōki replied, "but we're really tired and we'd appreciate it if you could just walk on your own."
"And get my clothes and shoes all dirty and smelly? A lady like me can't accept that!"
"You're already a dirty and smelly bitch!" Mizuki insulted me. "I can't see how walking is going to make it any different!"
"Come over here and say it to my face Mizuki!" I demanded.
As Mizuki came close to me with her fists held up, I suddenly became unable to control my own body or speech. I didn't know what exactly happened. But a glowing light engulfed my body.
"Help me, help me!" I screamed and begged. "Please somebody help me!"
Somehow I ended up in a white void.
"Where am I? Who is responsible for this? Show yourself! I'm going to get my daddy to sue you and get you in trouble! Do you know how much power and wealth we have?"
I only heard echoes in this room, which caused me to get more anxious and panic even more than usual.
"Please, just let me out of here!" I cried. "Why am I even here? Please I'll do anything!"
Suddenly as I continued to cry on the cold hard floor of the void, a mysterious being appeared in front of me. She looks like a woman in a white dress with green arms, and a green medium-length bob cut. What really mesmerized me is her red eyes and a large red fin-like horn. She looks both human and alien at the same time.
"My child," she spoke, "it pains me greatly to see how ill-intended and selfish you are."
"What do you mean? You let me out of this place right now! Do you know what daddy's going to do to you? You don't mess with a van Weeren and get away with it!"
"Your threats don't scare me. Just understand you are the only possible way I can communicate with the other children. I'm sorry for having to use your body as a vessel."
"Wait a minute are you Gardevoir? Are you responsible for me fainting?"
"Yes, I am Gardevoir, nothing more than a spirit right now. I have to use your body in order to communicate urgent matters to the children. Now if you'll excuse me, I think we've talked long enough, forgive me as I take over your mind!"
Unable to protest, Gardevoir shined a light as she disappeared while I remained in this void. However, unlike last time I'm actually able to see, as usual, seeing the group of hicks surrounding me.
"I apologize for the interruption last time," Gardevoir said through my body to everyone! "The reason I had to cut my visit short last time, is that if my vessel gets injured or killed I will cease to exist. We were all in danger that time, I sincerely apologize."
"Gardevoir, you're back!" Val exclaimed. "But why can you only communicate with us through the possession of another body? Also, why are you possessing poor Eleanor's body?"
Wow, the pretty boy actually stood up for me. I'm kinda impressed, not going to lie.
"As a spirit, I can only communicate if I possess another body. It's not something I wish to do either, it pains me deeply. However, I have no other choice. The only reason I possess Eleanor solely is because I cannot possess a person with a pure heart."
How dare this Gardevoir insult me like that! I have a pure heart, I'm a really sweet and kind person! Mizuki should be the only one possessed, in fact, it even seems like she agrees with me.
"Mizuki has a pure heart?" Mimi questioned sarcastically. "That's news to me."
"Yeah, my brother is actually right for once," Mizuki replied. "I know my heart and intentions aren't pure, so why can't you possess me?"
"Mizuki my child, you know yourself deep down you are full of pure intentions and empathy. There's just a lot crowding your judgement and your actions right now."
"You know nothing about me Gardevoir! So just shut up! Aren't you here to tell us something important? Or are you just going to lecture us? Get on with it and hurry up!"
"Please calm yourself down my child. I will tell you what I know. Please also understand I can only stay in this form for a few minutes. It will take me hours before I can regain this form to communicate. So listen carefully. Mizuki your main partner will be a Pokemon known as Popplio. You will meet her in the Grass Continent, which is the continent south of the Air Continent. Kōki your main partner will be Turtwig. Jun your main partner will be Piplup. Hikari your main partner will be Chimchar. All of them will be in the Grass Continent. Valeri, as I have said before, you are already with your main partner, Ralts."
"I don't mean to interrupt," Mimi replied in sadness. "But what does this mean of Togepi? Does this mean Togepi and I are not meant to be partners? I don't want to have to abandon her."
"Hikari, just because Chimchar will be your main partner, it doesn't mean you cannot have other partners. Togepi will still be your partner and I know when she evolves you'll have a super close bond."
"So my Togepi is female?"
"That is correct Hikari. Unfortunately, I will have to leave soon, so are there any more questions?"
"Um, do you happen to know who Eleanor is going to be partnered with?" Mimi asked.
"Yes, she'll meet her main partner Gible in the Air Continent."
Gible? Wait I'm going to have to be partnered with one of those hideous creatures? Oh no, oh no! Ew absolutely not! I have to protest this to Gardevoir if she can even hear me!
The more I'm unable to communicate properly with Gardevoir, the more my suspicions rise. It also seems like these hicks are completely blinded and obedient to everything Gardevoir says. I don't feel safe being around them, I simply do not want to go any further with them.
"I'm sorry my children, my time is up for now. I will have to communicate with you later on! I hope I can see some more visions that will be helpful to everyone!"
"No Gardevoir, please don't leave!" Val begged. "I still have some questions!"
But it was too late. Gardevoir disappeared from my body as I regained consciousness. I momentarily fainted like last night, but I could still hear everything in my surroundings.
"Oh no, please don't tell me Eleanor is unconscious again!" Kōki worried.
"Well if she is," Jun snarled, "I say we just leave her here."
"I'm awake you dumb hicks!" I yelled as I got up. "For some reason, I was able to communicate with Gardevoir and I was aware of everything you guys talked about. It's definitely a lot different than last time."
"Are you alright Eleanor?" Val asked. "I'm just glad you're not knocked out like last time!"
"Does it look like I'm alright pretty boy? How about you get your body possessed and tell me if you're alright or not? My my I wasn't wrong when I thought you hicks are uneducated."
"That was totally uncalled for!" Jun complained. "You really expect us to have sympathy for you even after all of this? We were concerned for your well-being, and you treat us like dirt?"
"Hey, I never asked for any sympathy. I never asked to be with any of you guys. I just want to be by myself."
"Please don't be so impulsive!" Mimi requested. "You have no Pokemon, you have no idea how to navigate through this world."
"It's not like I'm going to go any further with you hicks. So just leave me alone. I'm willing to bet I'm going to go further than all of you! Besides, I don't trust Gardevoir or anyone here really. It still seems fishy she'd just possess my body like that and go as she pleases. I smell something funny for sure."
"It's probably just the fish," Ralts chuckled.
"Oh be quiet you dumb hideous animal!" I demanded.
"You know for once I actually agree with you Smellanor," Mizuki replied. "I agree Gardevoir and Cinderace are probably going to lead us to a trap."
"Eleanor, please don't just go off on your own!" Val pleaded. "It's going to be dangerous!"
"Val, don't try to convince her," Jun interrupted. "She's clearly made her own decision. We should be on our way."
"What about breakfast?" Kōki questioned.
"I think it's best we have breakfast on the road," Mizuki replied. "Smellanor doesn't deserve any!"
"You think this will be hard for me? I'm going to show you how much I don't need you and that it's you that needs me! I can easily get my own food! I'll see you, hicks, never!"
Val, Mimi, and Kōki left sad, while Jun and Mizuki left angry. Not surprising at all, their personalities are way too easy to predict these days.
With hunger looming, first I need to go fishing for some food. I remember fishing with my parents and I would always catch the biggest most delicious fish without a single effort. There is just one problem though, I don't have a fishing rod. I really wish I had that high-tech fishing rod my daddy had designed for me. I'd have all the fish in the sea by now.
Looks like I have no choice but to go into the sea and try to catch the fish myself. But my beautiful dress? Oh no oh no! I can't get it dirty and wet, ew! But I'm so hungry though. Didn't the others say the forest had berries? But it's so far away! Oh, it looks like I have to catch some fish if I want to eat right away!
I took off my shoes and socks as I walked into the still chilly water. Oh, why can't it be warmer? I see some fish in front of me so I think I'll just grab them. Come here you little rascals!
Catching the fish is going to be a lot more difficult than it looks as whenever I got close they would just swim away at a speed that I cannot chase them at. Oh, why does this have to be difficult? Why do fish swim so fast?
After a long time of trying and failing to catch a single fish, I gave up and ran out of the ocean to get dressed back in my socks and shoes. It's super infuriating how much more difficult it is to catch fish in this world! Why can't the fish be more like Earth fish? Or is it maybe just maybe I was given a massive advantage back home? No that can't be! My daddy says I'm the best and the most skilled! It must be that fish are harder to catch in this world! That must be it!
Looks like I have no choice but to go find some berries in the forest. Like I love berries and all, but I can't tell which berries are poisonous or not. I also hate forests. They're full of bugs, germs, and other icky things!
The forest here also looks creepier than the forests back home. Just entirely unpaved grass. Back home the forests near my home would be beside large fields of cut grass where I can relax.
After minutes of walking, it seems like I'm just back in square one! Oh, this is so annoying! Why can't I find some food? I'm so hungry and I don't have any energy left to move. I want my daddy!
Maybe some rest will help my situation? But how am I supposed to know? I've never had to go hungry ever in my life back home. No this is a first for me. I hate it, this shouldn't be happening to me! Why is this happening to me? I didn't do anything to deserve this!
As I lay down on the grass, my luck went from bad to terrible. A few huge spider web strings flew towards me. As I looked up to my horror, I witnessed multiple huge hideous spiders. Each is roughly my size. Each has a small sharp horn, with two sharp pincers. Its body is covered in red colour with black stripes. Strangely enough, they all only have six purple and yellow striped legs, two of which are on their back!
As I screamed they began to shoot more webs at me, encasing me in their webs.
"Hey, how dare you do this to me! Do you know who my daddy is? You don't mess with the daughter of Fabian van Weeren! He's going to sue all your asses you know!"
These hideous creatures simply let out a vicious hiss as they encased my body with their webs until my entire body got covered in webs. Why, why, why must this happen to me?
Unable to see a thing, they carried me off to somewhere unknown. Probably back to their nest? Oh no, they're going to eat me! No, no, no! This cannot be! I'm simply too young and pretty to die! Why can't they take Mizuki or someone else instead?
Despite my screaming and threats, the spiders simply did not care and probably couldn't hear nor understand me. It's hard to scream properly covered in these webs.
After quite some time, they finally put me down. Looks like they're finally at their nest.
Wow, I can't believe it, my last moments before I even turned 10! Flashbacks arrived in my head as I dreaded my final moments. Flashbacks of all the times my parents gave me all I wanted. That won't be happening again. Flashbacks of all the times Mizuki was the bane of my existence! Ugh, I hope that bitch has it coming for her! Flashbacks of the times pretty boy Val was so kind to me, even though I was rude to them. What a naive baby! Please, why can't someone else just take my place? I don't deserve this!
My flashbacks got interrupted by the screams and cries of what I assume to be other Pokemon that fell victim to these spiders. Oh, can they just shut it already? I'm trying to lament here!
I felt one of the spider's legs crawl on top of me, yup it's time for my end. All my crying and begging won't help me now.
Just as I thought they're about to devour me brutally, I heard a soothing singing voice. It almost made me want to fall asleep. But like where did the voice come from?
As the singing went on I felt the spiders move away from me! What kind of singing could cause this sort of effect?
Although the good news is brief and short since I felt something touch the web that encased my face. Oh no, are they finally trying to eat me now? Or wait, it doesn't feel like spider legs. It feels like the hands of a small child, maybe even a baby.
A few moments later, my entire face was freed from the webs! As I opened my eyes to take a peak hoping it's not the spiders, I found a cute little pink balloon-like Pokemon in front of me!
"Hey what are you doing here?" I questioned. "Who are you?"
"Who am I?" It giggled. "Who are you? I'm none other than the fabulous Jigglypuff!"
"Jigglypuff, why did you rip off the web covering my face? Were you the one who sang? The voice sounds identical to yours."
"That's right! That's me!"
"But why did you sing?"
"I thought you were going to be smarter. But take a look at those Ariados! They're all fast asleep."
"Hey, I'm smart! How dare you! But you're right, those spiders and their victims are all fast asleep."
"I don't usually care about the lives of others, but you intrigue me. I want to know how you didn't fall asleep from my singing. You don't look like a Pokemon either. That's why I'd like to save you and stay close. I want to learn more about you!"
"Save me? I don't need saving you brat! I'm fine just the way I am!"
"Oh really? Well, my singing effects wear off pretty soon. So unless you want me to just leave you here…."
"ALRIGHT ALRIGHT! I'll come with you."
"Hehe, only if you beg me to save you from these webs."
"Forget it!"
"Alright suit yourself…"
"Wait, wait alright please I beg of you! Please get me out of here!"
"Hehe, I knew you'd beg me! Alright, let me release you!"
Jigglypuff quickly ripped off all the webbing that encased me, as we escaped their nest.
"Which way do we go?" I questioned.
"Honestly I'm not sure, let's just get as far away from this place as possible!"
Just as we decided on a direction, the spiders woke up.
"Oh no the Ariados have woken!" Jigglypuff screamed. "We need to run now!"
"Wait can't you just sing?"
"Singing requires a ton of energy which I don't really have right now I'm sorry!"
"Oh, how worthless!"
"Hey, I'm the one who saved you in the first place! Be grateful you spoiled child!"
"Are you calling me the child?" I questioned as we continued to run as fast as we can. "I'm like way taller than you and don't look like a little baby!"
Without another word, Jigglypuff hit me on the back of my head.
"Ouch, that hurt you little brat!" I complained.
"Hehe, it's what you deserve!"
Jigglypuff's little stunt caused me to trip and injure my knee. This also meant that the Ariados as Jigglypuff calls them caught up to us as they surrounded us.
"Jigglypuff, you got me into this! Do something!"
Jigglypuff let out a loud voice that produced waves hitting the Ariados. It didn't really seem to hurt them though.
"Oh no, not this again! Just as I thought we were going to be safe! Are you sure you can't do anything else Jigglypuff?"
"I'm sorry, but I'm exhausted! I'm sorry for hitting you back there! That was awfully rude of me!"
"Oh, I don't want to die this early!" I cried as I hugged Jigglypuff tight.
As we both cried with our eyes closed hoping for a quick and painless death, I heard the sound of a boulder nearby. For some reason the boulder sound caused one of the Ariados to scream in pain. I opened my eyes to witness one of the Ariados being hit by a boulder. Another boulder hit another Ariados! The last Ariados got hit by some sort of telekinesis attack!
"Hey, are you alright Eleanor?" A voice questioned from afar. I couldn't quite make out the voice just yet. It was your typically very cute girly voice until I realized that it was Val's voice!
"Ralts use Confusion again!" Val commanded.
"Yes, big sis!" Ralts exclaimed.
Another telekinesis attack hit one of the Ariados.
"Togepi, just keep doing what you did back there!" Mimi commanded as they all got close to us. Mizuki, Jun, and Kōki followed suit.
Togepi continued to create boulders out of nowhere as those boulders repeatedly hit two Ariados. The Ariados did of course try to fight back!
"Watch out everyone!" I warned.
Thankfully everyone here is cautious and listened to my wise words as they dodged the Ariados attacks. Eventually, Ralts and Togepi's repeated attacks overwhelmed the Ariados, causing them to flee.
"Are you alright Eleanor?" Val asked as they got close to me. "We were all so worried about you!"
"Yeah not me," Mizuki smirked. "I just didn't want to see Val sad, so I agreed to come back."
"Does it look like I'm alright pretty boy? I was nearly eaten by those stupid spiders if it wasn't for this pink little baby here!"
"Aw they look so cute," Val giggled. "What's their name?"
"My name is Jigglypuff!"
"Aw, Jigglypuff you're so adorable!" Val cheered. "I know it'll take some time for you to process this, but I just hope you're alright Eleanor."
"I don't need your sympathy pretty boy!"
"Then let us leave you here by yourself," Jun replied angrily. "We all know how that went."
"Oh I'm so sorry Val," I replied. "I didn't mean to get all upset! I was just so scared!" I cried. "You don't know how scary it was to be encased in an uncomfortable coat of web and nearly get eaten!
"Hey it's okay I understand," Val said as they comforted me. "I'm not upset, all I want is for you to be alright. At least you're safe and sound now!"
"Thank you, Val," I replied. "Hey Mizuki, your arm is all better now it seems. No more bandage around it?"
"Ralts helped me find some berries known as Rawst Berries," Mizuki replied. "I applied some of my burnt skin and it instantly healed! See good as new!"
"Oh wow, I didn't realize the power of berries here! I have a cut on my knee, do you know of any berries that could help me?"
"Oh, I think this should do the trick!" Mimi exclaimed as she took out a yellow berry and her blender. She blended up the berry into a mushy state as she applied the mush on my knee. It instantly healed my wound painlessly!
"This world is so strange," I said.
"Yeah I'm in agreement," Kōki replied. "However, we still need to finish our task. Maybe then we'll see some good news for once. I think we should all take a small break, then head out for Thunderwave Cave. Is everyone alright with that?"
"Yes, Kōki!" We all agreed in unison.
"My my look at you Kōki," Mizuki said. "You're being such a leader! Oh, it just makes me glee!"
"Um thank you?" Kōki replied awkwardly.
"This does make me wonder, where will you go now Jigglypuff?" Hikari asked.
"Hmm, I feel like I want to tag along with everyone. You creatures intrigue me! I can learn a lot about all of you!"
"So are you going to be Eleanor's partner?" Kōki questioned.
"I mean I guess! I prefer to go solo though!"
"Partner? I don't want a partner!" I complained. "But I mean you are pretty cute Jigglypuff, unlike the other hideous Pokemon around here."
"Well, then it looks like it's settled!" Jigglypuff exclaimed. "I'm going to tag along with everyone!"
I simply cannot explain my feelings right now. I just don't understand why I actually feel grateful for these hicks for once. What's really making me question my mind is why I'm suddenly feeling attracted to Val. Like I just don't get it. Yeah, pretty boy is nice and all, but it just feels wrong to be attracted to them!
