Chapter 110: The Chariot (Isaac, Tatara, Hoji, Yomo)

Ward 6, Morihoshi Elementary
I'm wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and red Converse. I'm sitting on the bench as I see the kids playing around on the playground. It's been at least 3 months since I started attending Morihoshi Elementary. I'm looking at the swings, then the slides and the hopscotch section. I'm minding my own business.
This isn't like Mexico at all. Fresh start, mom and dad said. We've already been denied entry to over 20 restau…rants, even though they're active CCG…police…officers, I thought, annoyed, as I see three boys approaching me.
Boy #1 is wearing a Dragonball Z t-shirt, blue jeans, and red Skechers. Boy #2 is wearing a green t-shirt, blue jeans, and purple Champions. Boy #3 is wearing a red t-shirt, black shorts, and blue Reeboks.
"Hey, kid." Boy #2 said, as I looked at him.
"What?" I said, wondering.
"See that wishing well?" Boy #2 said, as I looked around, and the well from 30 feet away.
"Yeah." I said, calmly.
"If you look down there, you'll see China." Boy #3 said, excited.
"That's not true!" I said, skeptical.
"It is! I saw China just now down there." Boy #1, in a reassuring manner. I then get off the bench and walk towards it.
What kind of person can make a well that reaches China? I thought, as I finally make it to the well.
"Now, if you look down hard enough, you'll see China." Boy #3 said, as I looked over the well. I look down for 5 seconds before an annoyed look on my face emerges.
"I don't see…" I said, before I find myself lifted off my feet.
"WAAAH!" I shouted, as I get tossed over the well. I fall 15 feet and hit the water. It's only 18 inches, as I hit my head on the floor. The water is barely able to cushion it, as blood streams down my face.
"Have fun in there, mojado (wetback)!" Boy #2 said, laughing, as he and the other 2 boys seal the well with a black lid and lock it. Tears begin to stream down my eyes.

"Tell me where Torso is, you son of a bitch!" I said, angrily, as I looked down at a Blade Ghoul. I'm wearing a black suit over a white work shirt, black tie, washed out black jeans, black leather belt, black Converse, and black rim glasses. Urie is wearing a white trench coat over a black work shirt, black pants, black leather belt, blue gloves, and black leather shoes. Saiko is wearing a black poncho over a white trench coat, black skirt, black leggings, and blue Reeboks. Hsiao is wearing a gray trench coat, black pants, knee high black boots, and blue gloves that covers the entirety of both her arms. Touma is wearing a red poncho over a blue jacket, black pants, blue gloves, and white Nike's. Aura is wearing a blue trench coat over a white work shirt, black pants, and blue Vans. The Blade Ghoul is wearing a red poncho over a blue sweater, black pants, and white Skechers, and an iron arrowhead helmet.
"I don't know!" The Blade Ghoul said, as I pressed my foot on their head.
"That's not good enough, asshole!" I said, as Urie spoke.
"Isaac. If they don't know, they don't know! Move on!" Urie said, as I scoffed.
"Fine." I said, as I pulled back Ozymandias' hammer and fired a Q-Bullet underneath the Blade Ghoul's chin, killing them instantly.
"Isaac, we'll find Mutsi." Saiko said, as I looked at her.
"It's been one week. We still haven't found him." I said, worried.
"Look, since Shirazu's death, it's just…I just can't lose another close friend." I said, calmly.
"Anyways. Hsiao, sitrep?" I said, wondering.
"Squad 1 is currently looking for Tatara. Squad 2 is currently looking for the leader of the Blades. And Squad 3 is rounding up the remaining Aogiri Ghouls while trying to find the base for the White Suits. Estimated at least 50 White Suit members." Hsiao said.
"Touma, how are the rations?" I said, wondering, as he looked inside his black backpack.
"We've got enough for at least another week." Touma said.
"Aura, how are you holding up on using Sombra and Rorschach?" I said, as he checked his black holster.
"I've got at least 10 Q-Shells, and 4 magazines." Aura said, calmly, as I walked near the edge of the cliff.
"Shit, it's already nighttime." I said, as I grabbed the black Quinque briefcase on my left hand while holding Milagro on my right.
"All right, everyone, we'll take a 30-minute dinner break. After that…" I said, as I feel something wrap around my left ankle. I don't have time to react, as I get pulled down from the cliff.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed.
"Isaac!" Urie and Saiko shouted, as I then tap my chest twice to activate APII. I land on the ground back first, but APII cushioned the fall.
"Yo, Isaac, you okay, dude?!" Aura shouted, as I waved at my team.
"I'm fine. My guess, that fall was at least 80 feet. I'll find another way back to you guys." I shouted, as I tap my chest twice to deactivate the APII.
"On second thought, I'll find Mutsuki. You guys take a break." I shouted, calmly.
"Are you sure, Isaac?" Saiko shouted, from above the cliff.
"I'm positive." I said, calmly.
"Nǐ quèdìng nǐ zìjǐ méi wèntí (Mandarin for 'Are you sure you're fine on your own')?" Hsiao said, skeptical.
"What's Hsiao saying, Saiko?" I said, puzzled.
"She doesn't think you'll be fine on your own." Saiko said.
"Trust me, I've killed over 280 Aogiri Ghouls during my 6 years at CCG. I'll be fine." I said, as I walked into the dense forest.

I'm walking into the forest as I activate my right earpiece.
"Akira, Hoji, come in." I said, waiting for a response.
"Isaac, you alright?" Akira said, through the earpiece.
"Yeah. Something just tripped me up and I fell 80 feet. Don't worry, I used APII to cushion my fall." I said, calmly.
"Good. Any luck on Mutsuki?" Akira said, wondering.
"Negative. How are you guys on Tatara?" I said, as Hoji spoke through the earpiece.
"Nowhere in sight yet." Hoji said, calmly.
"All right, then. And don't worry, Hoji. If I come across Tatara, you already gave me tips on what to do." I said, as I look at my black Quinque briefcase.
"I got to go. Stay sharp." I said, calmly, as I see a sign that read, Danger: Mines.
Great, I thought, nervously.
"Will do." Hoji said, as I then pull out a red Motorola RAZR flip phone. I go through the contacts, and text Miza's number.
"Miza. Where the hell is Torso?!" I texted.
"I don't know." Miza texted.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" I said, frustrated.
"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW?! HE'S HOLDING MY BEST FRIEND HOSTAGE!" I texted.
"Look, I'm sorry! It was out of my hands!" Miza texted.
"Out of your hands?" I said, confused.
"Out of your hands?" I texted.
"Tatara would've murdered us if we tried to stop Torso." Miza texted, as I had an angered look on my face.
"Of course Tatara would…" I said, before a red, thin skeletal tail appeared at the speed of light, and destroyed the top half of the RAZR. It also takes away the fingertips of my right index finger and right middle finger.
"Mierda (Shit)." I said, horrified, as I immediately got down on the ground. I then hear a familiar voice.
"Finally, I have you all to myself." Tatara said, as I looked around the forest.
"Why am I not surprised that it's you, Tatara?" I said, annoyed. Tatara offers no response.
"I take it your tail pulled me down here?" I said, annoyed.
"Yes." Tatara said, coldly, as I got up and ran to some trees for cover.
"3 and a half years' of having to deal with you and your complete soft-hearted buffoonery." Tatara said, as I had a baffled look on my face.
"Buffoonery? Eto made me second-in-command so I would defend her from all the people she kept pissing off!" I said, frustrated.
"You only earned that position by knocking her up!" Tatara said, mockingly, as I turned my head left.
"¡Cabrón, vete a la mierda (Asshole, fuck off)!" I said, angrily, as I try to hear where Tatara's footsteps are coming from.
"Bù, nǐ kěyǐ gǔndàn (Mandarin for 'No, you can fuck off')!" Tatara said, angrily.
Left, I thought, as I emerged from the left and fired a Q-Bullet from Ozymandias. No Tatara.
"Joder (Fuck)." I said, as I see Tatara's red Bikaku tail coming from my right. I parry the tail with Milagro, as Tatara retracts the tail instantly.
"Just be grateful that the fingertips I sliced off of your right hand were a preview." Tatara said, as I then run past 3 trees. I duck down as Tatara takes them down one by one with his tail. I hide behind the next tree. I then look at the black Quinque briefcase that's in my left hand.
Hoji, I promise. I will not fail, I thought, as I opened the briefcase.
Over 150 feet away, Tatara is trying to find where I'm at.
"Come on out, Isaac. The more time you waste, the less likely you'll see your friend alive. Who knows, maybe Torso-" Tatara said, as he then sees multiple shards coming right at him. One shard manages to land a cut on Tatara's upper left cheek.
"What the…?!" Tatara said, shocked, as he sees me emerging from one of the trees. I'm holding one of Hoji's Quinques, Douhi.
"FEI?!" Tatara said, in shock, as I have a calm but determined look on my face.

"We need to talk." I said, calmly, as I looked at Hoji and Akira. I'm wearing a black suit over a white work shirt, black tie, washed out black jeans, black leather belt, black Converse, and black rim glasses. Hoji and Akira are wearing white combat gear.
"Hoji. What are you going to do once you cross paths with Takizawa?" I said, calmly. Hoji ponders the question for a few seconds before speaking.
"I'm going to have one last talk with him, man to man, before giving him a merciful death." Hoji said, calmly.
"I see." I said, as I begin to turn around. Then a thought pops up in my head.
"Hoji." I said.
"Yes, Isaac?" Hoji said, wondering.
"Do you still have Douhi with you?" I said, wondering.
"Yes. Akira's got it, along with her Quinques." Hoji said, as I see the black Quinque briefcase that's next to Akira's white Quinque briefcases.
"Hand Douhi over to me." I said, as Akira had a curious look on her face.
"Don't you have enough Quinques already, Isaac?" Akira said, wondering.
"I'm handing Sombra and Rorschach over to my protégé, Aura. He's very familiar with them now." I said, as the three of us look at Aura. Aura is wearing a blue trench coat over a white work shirt, black pants, and blue Vans. He's also carrying Sombra and Rorschach in his hands.
"All right, then." Akira said, as she hands me the black Quinque briefcase. I grab it and turn around to head back to my team. I stop after taking 2 steps.
"Hoji." I said, as he looked at me.
"I promise, on my father's grave, that if I find Tatara…" I said, as I turn my head to look at Hoji and Akira.
"…I will make sure that he remembers my dad's last words to him before I kill him." I said, calmly.
"What did your dad say to Tatara while in Bejiing?" Akira said, curious.
"Zhixí (Mandarin for 'Choke') …," Hoji said, as I finished the sentence.
"…húndàn (Mandarin for 'motherfucker')." I said.

Off the Coast of Ward 8, Rushima
Rage boils inside Tatara as he sees me carrying the remains of his younger brother, Fei.
"Oh look. A family reunion." I said, calmly, as I smiled. Tatara activates his Kakugan.
"Wǒ huì shāle nǐ, nǐ zhège biǎo zi yǎng de (Mandarin for 'I'll kill you, you son of a bitch')!" Tatara said, angrily, as he jumps to the first tree that he decimated (20 feet away from me). I fire Douhi near his feet, as the shards set off a landmine. The landmine staggers Tatara, as I sprint towards him and plunge Milagro into his right pectoral muscle with my left hand at the forefront.
"You idiot. I can handle the heat." Tatara said, as I pull Milagro out of his chest before pulling a pin from a flashbang from my black holster.
"Eto told me where the other 2 Kakuhou are." I said, as Tatara's eyes widen in shock. The flash immediately blinds Tatara, as he rubs his eyes to try to see where I am. I'm nowhere to be found.

I'm standing near the entrance to Hoji's house. I'm with Eto, Emilia, and Asami. I'm wearing a black leather jacket over a blue sweater, dark blue jeans, black leather belt, black rim glasses, and blue beanie hat. Eto is wearing a green jacket over a pink sweater, black skirt (knee length), black leggings, red rim glasses, and red heels, with a turquoise wig. Emilia is wearing a zipped blue jacket, blue jeans, and pink Skechers. Asami is being carried in Eto's arms. Asami is wearing a purple jacket, blue jeans, and white Reeboks.
The door opens and Hoji emerges. Hoji is wearing a red sweater, blue pants, and white socks. Sakura is wearing a yellow shirt, blue jeans, and blue flip-flops. She is 4'8, has neck length brown hair, and grey eyes.
"Isaac, Yoko. Glad you guys could stop by with the kids." Hoji said, content.
"Hey, guys!" Sakura said, as she waved at Emilia and Asami.
"Hi." Emilia said, in a shy manner.
"Just in time for dinner. Come on in and shoes off." Hoji said, as Eto and I comply.

I'm looking at the dossier report on Tatara when Hoji speaks.
"It was crazy that day. Six months of recon that led to me and your dad confronting the Chi She Lian." Hoji said, as I looked up at him.
"My dad told me about that day. He said that you guys killed the leader of CSL through a combo of my dad timing his shots with Ozymandias while you delivered the finishing blow with Chi She." I said.
"Correct. We also lost over a hundred men that day. 13 SCIs and 28 ASCIs alone on Yan. We thought for sure that we had also killed Tatara when your dad shot him at point blank." Hoji said, as he hands me the files on Operation Red Mist.
"Is there anything I should learn when confronting Tatara?" I said, curious.
"From what me and your father saw when we confronted Yan was that he had a Kakuja. Resembled that of a salamander." Hoji said, as I chuckled.
"Super easy. HAHA." I said, chuckling as Hoji sighed.
"Yan was 8 feet tall in that Kakuja form." Hoji said, calmly, as I had an alarmed look on my face.
"Seriously?" I said, flustered.
"Yes. And that he could breathe fire up to least 4000 degrees Celsius." Hoji said, as my eyes further widen in alarm.
"That's not helping." I said, awkwardly, as Hoji then shows me the photo of Yan's Kakuja form. It has gray skin, looks muscular and scaly, and has two large hammers at the back, along with a wispy gray tail. The head appears triangular and has a gap at the front of the head.
"Oh, dear." I said, as my left eye twitched.
"He can teleport as well." Hoji said, as I looked at him.
"Teleport?" I said, curious.
"Tatara was able to close in on Takizawa before he could even get a chance to react to his appearance."
Hoji said, calmly.
"Out of curiosity, how many Kakuhou did you and my dad find in Yan and Fei?" I said, wondering.
"1 for Fei, and 3 for Yan." Hoji said.
"Does Tatara often get triggered by seeing Quinques associated with his brothers?" I said, curious.
"Yes. Remember, when Akira and Misato found Douhi crushed?" Hoji said, as I nodded my head yes.
"I see. And his Kagune?" I said, wondering.
"Red Bikaku tail. Long and thin with a spearhead as the tip. Beware, because it is fast. Milagro is your best chance of parrying that tail." Hoji said.
"Got it. So, I got to be prepared for in case Tatara sees me in his sights?" I said, as Hoji nodded his head yes. I then get up and proceed to leave when a though pops up.
"Out of curiosity, were there any other Quinques that you and my dad got from Beijing?" I said.
"There was one. We gave it to Mado as a gift." Hoji said, as he pulled out a briefcase from underneath his desk. He opens it and a pair of awl pikes emerge. Both pikes have a shield at the bottom.
"What's the name?" I said, curious.
"Iistuu." Hoji said, as he places the dual Quinque on his arms.
"Oh, I get it. The shield is to protect your arms." I said.

"Got it." I said.

I'm putting all of Eto's 'food' into the fridge when I hear Eto speak.
"Tatara has 3 Kakuho in his body." Eto said, as I turn to look at her.
"You're not lying?" I said, wondering.
"No. Remember, I dated Tatara for over a year before I started seeing you." Eto said, as I walked towards her.
"Do you know where each one is?" I said, curious.

Off the Coast of Ward 8, Rushima
"Do you realize where we are, you idiot?!" Tatara said, as he feels a sharp pain from his left hip.
"AAH!" Tatara shouted, as he turns to see plunging Milagro deep into his left hip.
"Yeah, I do. Come on, I want to see that Kakuja form of yours, pendejo cabrón (fucking bastard). You want to kill me, don't you?" I said, as a smile emerged from my face. Tatara lets out an angry roar, as I pull Milagro out of his left hip before I tap my chest twice to activate APII. The black entity engulfs my body as I sprinted away from Tatara with inhumane speed, setting off a landmine in the process. I turn around to look at the smoke that's blocking my view of Tatara from 40 feet away, as I fire multiple shards off Douhi into the ground. Two landmines go off in the process. I then see blue flames overwhelm the smoky dust.
"Whoa!" I said, as I then see Tatara emerge from the dust. He has activated his Kakuja form.
"It's just like your older brother's." I said, calmly, as blue flames emerge from his triangular head. I then hear my right earpiece go off.
"Isaac, sitrep." Akira said, through the earpiece.
"Can't talk! Tatara's fighting me!" I said.
"What?!" Akira said, in shock.
"HA! Do you think that armor of yours can protect you from this?! I was easily able to kill Amon when he wore that!" Tatara said, as I stared at him.
"One difference between me and Amon. I always kept my cool, while Amon never fucking did." I said, bitterly, as the eyes on my APII helmet glow yellow. Tatara spews blue flames from his mouth as I grip Milagro with my right hand at the forefront, bringing forth the shield. Tatara then jumps up and proceeds to destroy 2 trees with his left hammer, while swinging it towards me. I duck and roll just in time.
"I can why your brother died at the hands of my dad and Hoji. He was too damn emotional about what was happening around him that day." I said, as Tatara spews more blue flames from his mouth.
"YOU DON'T WHAT THEY'VE DONE TO UPEND MY LIFE!" Tatara shouted, angrily, as he teleports within 5 feet of me. I bring forth the shield again to block his swinging right hammer, as it sends me flying back 30 feet and onto a tree. APII breaks through the tree, as the tree tumbles while setting off 3 consecutive landmines, with each one being louder than the last.

I'm wearing a black suit over a white work shirt, black tie, black pants, and black leather shoes. I'm staring at the tombstones of my father and my mother, Reynaldo and Maria. I'm also carrying in my hands a copy of The Bible.
"Mamá, papá. Lo siento, por no tomarme tu trabajo en serio. Sé que debe haber sido difícil para ustedes tratar de trabajar 5 días a la semana en el CCG, mientras sufrían discriminación racial y cuidaban a un 'niño especial' que el gobierno consideraría irrelevante (Mom, Dad. "Dad, I'm sorry for everything. I should've listened first before losing my temper when you told me about mom's death. It sucks we won't be going on that trip to outside the 23 Wards today. Had so much planned out. Mom, if you see Dad up there, tell him I'll be okay." I said, calmly, as I wiped my tears away.
"So…I promise you this, guys. When I graduate from Second Academy, every time I get promoted, I will stop by and give you an update on what's happening in my life." I said, calmly. I then hear Doc's voice.
"Isaac, come on." Doc said, as I turned to see Doc, Hoji, and Kiyoko. Doc is wearing a brown trench coat over a white work shirt, gray pants, white gloves, and black leather shoes. Hoji is wearing a black suit over a white work shirt, black pants, black leather belt, and black leather shoes. Kiyoko is wearing a blue jacket over a white work shirt, small blue tie, blue skirt (knee length), and black heels. I then look at my parent's gravestones.

From 200 feet away, is Eto. She's wearing a blue sweater, black skirt, black leggings, red rim glasses, and black Converse. She also has neck length green hair. She has a somber look on her face, as she sees me walk away from my parent's tombstones.

Off the coast of Ward 8, Rushima
I get up back on my feet and look around the environment.
"I've waited 10 long years for this." Tatara said, as I grab all 4 concussion grenades and toss them to the ground. I then turn around and ran as fast as possible. I turn to see Tatara is near the grenades. I fire with Douhi, as the shards hit one concussion grenade, causing a chain reaction that ends up setting off 2 more landmines.
"AHH!" Tatara said, as he becomes dazed by the grenades and landmines. I then sprint towards Tatara and fire a barrage of shards from Douhi right at Tatara's exposed mouth.
"Agh!" Tatara said, as I then plunge Milagro straight into Tatara's exposed mouth.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHH!" I shouted, angrily, as his Kakuja form disintegrates. I see that I stabbed Tatara in his left upper cheek, right through his red iron mask. We both fall to the ground as I look at him.
"TELL ME WHERE TORSO IS!" I shouted, angrily.
"FUCK YOU!" Tatara shouted, angrily.
"FUCK ME?! That's gonna be your last words, you son of a bitch!?" I said, angrily.
"You deserve everything that's coming to you for what your father did!" Tatara said, angrily.
"THEN TELL ME WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED THAT DAY FROM YOUR POINT OF VIEW!" I shouted, angrily.

Beijing, China, Inside Undisclosed Location
Tatara is wearing a white trench coat, white pants, and black leather shoes. He's playing a game of go with a six-year-old female kid. She's 3'7, has bob cut white hair and yellow eyes. She's wearing a white sweater, white jeans, and white Reeboks. He sees his brothers, Fei and Yan, arriving. Fei is 5'9, has white hair and red eyes. Yan is 6'2, has white hair, and yellow eyes. They're wearing the exact same clothing as Tatara, but Yan has on a lower half red iron mask as well.
"Hēi, tǎ tǎ lā. Nǐ zài jiào wǒ nǚ'ér xià wéiqí ma (Mandarin for 'Hey, Tatara. Are you teaching my daughter how to play go')?" Yan said, as Tatara looked at him.
"Wǒ de yìsi shì, bàituō, nǐ duōnián lái yīzhí jiào wǒ rúhé wán zhège yóuxì. Wǒ xiǎng xiù lán huì zǎodiǎn kāishǐ de (Mandarin for 'I mean, come on, you taught me how to play this game for years. I figured Xiulan would get an early start')." Tatara said, chuckling, as he places a black stone onto the board, completing his formation and trapping 5 of Xiulan's white stones.
"A, lái ba (Mandarin for 'Ahh, come on')." Xiulan said, annoyed, as Yan patted her on the head.
"Jìnbù, xiù lán. Jìnbù (Mandarin for 'Progress, Xiulan. Progress')." Yan said, politely.
"Wèi, fēi, nǐ hé míngzhū huán hǎo ma (Mandarin for 'Hey, how are you and Migzhu doing, Fei')?" Tatara said, wondering.
"Hǎo ba, wǒmen de hūnlǐ yào dào wǔ yuè, dàn wǒmen yǐjīng quèdìng nǐ shì wǒmen de bànláng, ér xiù lán shì huā tóng (Mandarin for 'Well, our wedding isn't until May, but we've already decided on you as our Best Man, and Xiulan being the flower girl')." Fei said, as Xiulan giggled.
"Hūnlǐ jiàng zài nǎlǐ jǔxíng (Mandarin for 'Where's the wedding going to be held at')?" Tatara said, curious.
"Míngzhū zhǎodàole yīgè sījiā huāyuán, lǐmiàn kāi mǎnle zhèxiē shèngkāi de yīnghuā. (Mandarin for 'Mingzhu found a private garden that has these blooming cherry blossoms')." Fei said, as they hear suddenly hear gunfire from far away.
"Bàba, nà shì shénme shēngyīn (Mandarin for 'Dad, what was that sound')?" Xiulan said, worried.
"Bié dānxīn, xiù lán. Wǒmen yǒu 80 duō míng chéngyuán zài qiánxiàn zhàogù zhèxiē rén. Wǒ de yìsi shì, tāmen bù kěnéng... (Mandarin for 'Don't worry, Xiulan. We've got over 80 of our members taking care of those humans at the front. I mean, there's no way they can') ..." Tatara said, optimistic, as the ceiling then explodes from above. Tatara gets hit with debris and gets knocked out in the process.

Tatara is lying on the floor. He slowly wakes up and moves his head to see multiple bodies on the floor, both investigators and CSL Ghouls. His eyes widen in shock as he sees Xiulan and Fei, dead. Both have been dismembered.
"Xiù lán, fēi (Mandarin for "Xiulan, Fei')!", Tatara said, weakly, as he then sees Yan, in his Kakuja form, fighting off multiple investigators by spewing blue flames and swinging his hammers around them. Among them are Hoji, who has his Quinque, Chi She, and Reynaldo, who has his Quinques, Ozymandias and Rorschach. Reynaldo and Hoji are wearing black combat gear. Reynaldo turns around and notices Tatara is awake.
"Hoji, keep Yan at bay!" Reynaldo said, as he sprinted towards Reynaldo. Tatara tries to activate his Kakugan, only for Reynaldo to fire a Q-Bullet at Tatara's left cheek with Ozymandias.
"AHH!" Tatara shouted, as Reynaldo places his right foot on Tatara's chest, before pulling back the hammer on Ozymandias.
"Zhìxí, húndàn (Mandarin for 'Choke, motherfucker')." Reynaldo said, coldly, as he fired another Q-Bullet right at Tatara's left eye. The last thing Tatara sees before losing consciousness from the bullet is Hoji sprinting towards Yan with Chi She to deliver the final blow.

Hoji and Reynaldo look at the work they've made in taking down the Chi She Lian.
"Well, guess Operation Red Mist was a success." Hoji said, chuckling.
"I'll say." Reynaldo said, sighing.
"Hoji. The Ghoul I killed, Fei, you can have his Kagune." Reynaldo said, as Hoji looked at him.
"You sure?" Hoji said, wondering.
"I don't mind. I'm good with Rorschach and Ozymandias." Reynaldo said, as he looked at his guns.
"Thanks." Hoji said, content.
"I mean, you're getting promoted to ASCI for this. Hey, we still need to find a Kagune to give to Mado." Reynaldo said, as they looked at Xiulan's dead body.
"She could make for a great Quinque." Reynaldo said, as Hoji had a skeptical look on his face.
"I don't know…" Hoji said.
"Come on, Mado managed to make a Quinque from a 14-year-old Ghoul. And besides, she's Yan's daughter." Reynaldo said.
"All right." Hoji said.

Tatara is inside one of the body bags that's being taken for examination. He opens his eyes and realizes what's happening. He activates his Kakugan and quickly escapes the body bag.
"Shénme guǐ (Mandarin for 'What the fuck')?!" The truck driver said, flustered, as Tatara releases his thin, long, red Bikaku tail, and decapitates the driver with it. The truck flips over as a result. Tatara then forces the back door trunk open with his tail, and escapes. Tatara is wheezing, as he walks back to where his base was.

Tatara arrives back at the CSL homebase, where it has been ransacked and in flames. Tatara cries out to his family members.
"Yán! Fēi! Míngzhū! Xiù lán (Mandarin for 'Yan! Fei! Mingzhu! Xiulan')!" Tatara shouted, as tears begin to stream down his face. He then looks down and sees Yan's lower half red iron mask. Tatara then gets on his knees and slowly picks up the mask. Tatara's facial expression changes from sadness to anger, as he then puts the mask on his face.

I tap my chest twice to deactivate my APII armor. I have a somber look on my face after hearing Tatara's story on how he lost his family. I then deactivate my right earpiece, as Tatara deactivates his Kakugan.
"I know that what my dad and Hoji did was unforgiveable." I said, somberly, before glaring at Tatara.
"But that gives you ZERO fucking right to take your anger out on me." I said, coldly.
"You and your family made your fucking choice to become terrorists." I said, coldly, as Tatara glared at me.
"WE NEVER FUCKING ASKED TO BE TERRORISTS! We just wanted to be left alone!" Tatara said, angrily.
"What are you talking about? Your group was on the radar of the Chinese government for years." I said, annoyed.
"You don't get it! We were sport for the Washu Family!" Tatara said, as I had a confused look on my face.
"What are you talking about?! Eto told me what the Washu Family has been doing ever since she inducted me into Aogiri. There's no way in hell The Chairman has that kind of power in China!" I said, as Tatara looked at me.
"You don't get it. The Chairman has power in EVERY country's CCG division!" Tatara said, as my eyes widen in shock.
"Even China? That's not possible. China and Japan have political beef stemming back from pre-WWII." I said.
"Every single member of the CCG's Chinese Division is under The Chairman's payroll." Tatara said, as tears streamed down.
"I loved Eto! I really did!" Tatara said.

Tatara is wearing a white trench coat, white pants, black leather shoes, and a lower half red iron mask. He's reading a copy of Sen Takatsuki's Resentments when he hears something land on the ground. He turns and sees that it's Eto. Eto is wearing a maroon hoodie, floral scarf, blue shorts, and is wrapped head to toe in bandages.
"Hey." Eto said, politely.
"Uhh…hey." Tatara said, awkwardly.
"What's your name, if I may ask?" Eto said, wondering.
"Uhh…my name…is Tatara. I'm sorry, my Japanese is terrible. I just moved here a month ago from China." Tatara said, annoyed, as Eto then notices Tatara's copy of Resentments.
"You want to know a secret about that book?" Eto said, as Tatara raised an eyebrow.
"What?" Tatara said, wondering.
"I wrote that book." Eto said, happily.
"You? Wait, you're Sen Takatsuki?" Tatara said, confused as Eto walked towards him.
"Call me Eto. I'm looking for potential members of Aogiri. Want to join?" Eto said, as Tatara let out an annoyed sigh.
"I was already a part of one group a few years back in Beijing, and…" Tatara said, as Eto interrupted.
"The Chi She Lian." Eto said, as Tatara had a shocked look on his face.
"How the hell did you…?" Tatara said, as Eto spoke.
"If you want to know, all you got to do is join my group, so we can fuck the world up and make it brand new again." Eto said, happily.

Tatara and Eto are in Eto's bedroom. They had just finish making love. They're underneath the sheets as Eto snuggles herself onto Tatara's moderately toned chest.
"You were quite surprised when you found out I wasn't a kid, right?" Eto said, chuckling.
"Well, I was thrown off for a second or two." Tatara said, awkwardly, as Eto giggled.
"I mean, you and me bossing everybody around like they're not relevant." Eto said, sighing.
"You know, Ayato has been very arrogant as of late." Tatara said.
"The pipsqueak?" Eto said, as she looked at Tatara.
"Yes." Tatara said, as he rubbed his eyes with his hands.
"How many recruits do we have now?" Tatara said, wondering.
"Over a 1,000. I'm trying to see if we can reach 2,000 by the end of next year." Eto said, as she kissed Tatara's lips.
"You know, I'm beginning to enjoy this relationship of ours." Tatara said, as Eto giggled.

"What?" Tatara said, surprised, as he looks at Eto. Tatara is wearing a blue hooded cloak over a white trench coat, white jeans, black leather belt, lower half red iron mask, and black leather shoes. Eto is wearing a maroon hoodie, blue shorts, floral scarf, and has her arms and legs wrapped in bandages.
"Tatara, look. It's been a year, and I really care about our relationship, but with the growing number of members we have in our ranks…" Eto said, as Tatara spoke.
"Don't you mean strong-armed?" Tatara said, clarifying.
"Well, that too." Eto said, awkwardly.
"Look, it's nothing personal. But I think we need to stop dating. I don't want to compromise what we've built at this point." Eto said, calmly, as Tatara removed his mask.
"Fine." Tatara said, as a somber smile emerged from his face.

Tatara is wearing a white trench coat, white jeans, black leather belt, lower half red iron mask, and black leather shoes. Eto is wearing a maroon hoodie, blue shorts, floral scarf, and is wrapped head to toe in bandages. Eto is holding her bandaged wrapped hands out to catch the snowflakes. The snow melts in her hands, as Tatara watches Eto from a bench.
"It's snowing." Eto said, happily, as Tatara looked at her.
"Hey, Eto." Tatara said.
"Yeah, Tatara?" Eto said, wondering.
"That Dove we met at Ward 11. Isaac. Why did you stop me from killing him?" Tatara said, wondering.
"He's someone I owe an enormous debt to." Eto said, as Tatara had a surprised look on his face.
"You owe him?" Tatara said, wondering.
"Noro killed his mom, and I got his dad killed for trying to expose the CCG's dirty laundry." Eto said, somberly.
"You had his father, the man that was involved in my family's death, working for you?" Tatara said, flustered.
"He was my inside man at the CCG. Arima killed him." Eto said, as Tatara facepalmed.
"You mean the One-Eyed King? Was he aware of Reynaldo being involved in your plan?" Tatara said.
"He was. From what Arima knew, an anonymous informant ratted Reynaldo out. And the Washu Family decided to get rid of him." Eto said.
"Does he even know what happens to those who are buried at Konishi Memorial?" Tatara said, wondering.
"No. He doesn't." Eto said, depressed, as she looked down at her hoodie.

"What did Eto see in you that I couldn't?" Tatara said, as tears streamed down his face, while I have a somber look on mine.
"She needed someone to remind her that she is still a human being even if she has Ghoul blood running in her body. Someone that could reel her back from the brink of despair." I said, as I wiped my tears.
"I see." Tatara said, calmly, as he looks at me, and then pictures Reynaldo.
"You look just like your father. Paler, more reasonable, but still like your father." Tatara said, calmly.
"I rarely get that from other people." I said, calmly.
"I can see why Dr. Kano hates you and your father so much." Tatara said, sighing.
"What did Dr. Kano promise you if you killed me?" I said, coldly.
"That I would get Eto back." Tatara said, somberly.
"You fell for his empty promises. Tell me, did he send Takizawa over to Zeum Hall to get Hinami purposely locked up at Cochlea?" I said, bitterly.
"Yes." Tatara said, somberly.
"Was he spying on everybody at Zeum Hall that night? Was that how he knew about Mutsuki?" I said, wondering.
"Yes." Tatara said.
"Did he order you guys to steal Shirazu's body after OGR?" I said, struggling to remain calm.
"He had help. A clown." Tatara said, as my eyes widen in anger.
"I need you to tell me. Who did Dr. Kano send to steal Shirazu's body?" I said, calmly.
"He sent Naki and the White Suits to steal your friend's body." Tatara said, depressed.
"I see." I said, disappointed.
"I will make a promise to you. Something that Dr. Kano would never keep. I will allow you a chance to seek revenge on Hoji. But you're only getting one chance, considering that I already took down 2 of your Kakuhou." I said, coldly, as I got up.
"Torso's cave is at least 2 miles away from here. There's a base not far from here. Tomoe will show you the way once you show up there." Tatara said, as I looked at him.
"Your protégé knows?" I said, calmly.
"She visited his cave a few times. She's got your friend's Quinques." Tatara said.
"There's one more thing you should know." Tatara said, as I looked at him.
"A few days ago, Dr. Kano used Rize's Kagune on another subject." Tatara said, as my eyes widen in alarm.
"Who?" I said.
"All he would say was that it was a Clown." Tatara said.
"Mierda (Shit)." I said, as I tap my chest twice to activate APII, and sprinted up a tree. I then proceed to jump across numerous trees as I make my way to the base.
50 feet away from where Tatara and I spoke, was Taco. He is perched on a tree branch. He's wearing a black hooded robe over a sleeveless gray shirt, black pants, and black sandals, with bandages wrapped around his ankles.
"So, Isaac really is Mothman, huh?" Taco said, as he smiled.

"Please step the fuck back, Furuta." Kaneki said, calmly, as a grin emerged from Furuta's face. Fall Out Boy's "Alone Together" continues to play throughout the PA systems.
"Let's be alone together (yeah). We can stay young forever (yeah)." The PA systems blared, as Furuta spoke.
"Oh, my childish boss. I'd really didn't want to do this, but…" Furuta said, as he opened his Quinque briefcase to pull out Rotten Follow. He revs up the chainsaw, as he spoke.
"Breaks my poor heart to do this." Furuta said, chuckling.
"In what way?" Kaneki said, annoyed, as Furuta looked at him.
"You cut me off, I lost my track." The PA systems blared.
"That this will be the last time I get to see you with a panicked look on your face!" Furuta said, as he sprinted towards Kaneki before jumping up and attempts to slash Kaneki with Rotten Follow, only for Kaneki and Hinami to move in opposite directions. Kaneki jumps up a wall, turns around, and kicks Rotten Follow out of Furuta's hands with his right foot. Furuta then grabs Kaneki's lower right leg using his left hand.
"Like Investigator Kijima's!" Furuta said, happily, as he grabs Rotten Follow with his right hand and attempts to slash at Kaneki. Kaneki swings his body forward to move out of the way, as Furuta hits nothing but a wall with Rotten Follow.
"I'm outside the door, invite me in." The PA systems blared, as Furuta loosens his grip on Kaneki's lower right leg, allowing Kaneki to deliver a roundhouse kick at the back of Furuta's head. The sheer force of Kaneki's right leg results in Furuta getting faceplanted onto the wall, leaving a dent from where he got faceplanted.
"Teeth-hee!" Furuta said, hilariously, as he takes a few steps back, while he sees his right central incisor tooth fly up in the air. Furuta ducks down as Kaneki jumps up to deliver an axe kick from his left leg. Furuta moves to the right, avoiding the axe kick, and grabs his tooth with his left hand. He then puts it back in place.
"And I said, I'll check in tomorrow if I don't wake up dead." The PA systems blared, as Furuta smiled.
"Thumb attack, bitch!" Furuta said, as he attempted to poke Kaneki's eyes out with his thumbs. Kaneki's eyes widen in shock as Furuta's thumbs come within two feet of him, when Furuta finds himself lifted in the air. Furuta lets out a loud gasp, as he looks to see that he has been impaled in the chest.
Kaneki then looks behind Furuta and sees that Hinami has released her spiny yellow Rinkaku tentacle from her left hip.
"Scream it from the top of your lu-lu-lungs." The PA systems blared.
"Ouchie!" Furuta said, as blood gushed out of his mouth before Hinami throws Furuta to the side. Hinami's Rinkaku tentacle disintegrates, as she places her hands over her blue sweater.
"Let's go." Hinami said, embarrassed, as Kaneki smiled. Hinami and Kaneki then flee from Furuta, as he struggles to get up.

Ward 23, Cochlea, Somewhere in Level 3
Touka, Ayato, and Yomo see that Arima and his Squad Zero team, along with numerous investigators, have arrived from the twirling staircase in front of them, as My Chemical Romance's "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" blares throughout the PA systems. The members of Squad Zero are wearing the exact same clothing as Arima's, but they have hoods over their heads. Touka and Yomo put their masks back on, as Ayato activates his Kakugan. Arima opens his silver Quinque briefcase to pull out IXA. Multiple investigators begin to sprint towards Ayato, Touka, and Yomo, as two vermillion Ukaku wings emerge from Ayato's shoulders and proceeds to fire multiple red shards towards them.
"Remember when you broke your foot." The PA systems blared, as the investigators used their respective IXA's to block the shards coming their way. Touka sprints and jumps up in the air to fire multiple purple shards at the investigators from above. The shards pierce through the heads of 6 investigators, killing them instantly.
"There's too many of them!" Touka said, as she lands on the ground, while Ayato plunges his right arm, now crystallized into a red blade, onto an investigator's stomach.
"NO SHIT!" Ayato said, as he pulls out the blade before sprinting past the numerous investigators around him.
"Cellblock's just ahead! Follow me!" Ayato shouted, as Touka and Yomo follow suit. They arrive at Cellblock C, as Ayato deactivates his Kakugan and Kagune.
"To be a joke and look. Another line without a hook." The PA systems blared, as Ayato pulled out the keycards to unlock the door in front of them. He places them near the scanner, but a loud red buzzer goes off.
"Shit! They must've have deactivated the keys!" Ayato said, frustrated.
"Can we pry it open?" Touka said, wondering, as Yomo looked around to see if they were followed.
"No. We gotta do it from the control room." Ayato said, sighing.
"Guys, heads up!" Yomo said, as they turn to see Arima firing a bolt of electricity from his Quinque, Narukami. Touka, Yomo, and Ayato jump out of the way, as the electricity leaves behind rubble in its wake. Yomo stares at Arima, with anger in his eyes.
Arima, Yomo thought, angrily, as Arima aims Narukami at Yomo. Yomo proceeds to jump up, as Arima fires at Yomo with Narukami. Yomo moves to the right and gets his right arm grazed by the 150,000 volts of electricity.
"I'm not okay. I'm not okay." The PA systems blared, as Yomo lands on the ground, as he sees Arima activate Narukami's second mode. The rods on Narukami split from 2 to 4. Yomo then sees Touka about to get hit with Arima's Narukami.
"Yomo!" Ayato shouted, as Yomo sprints towards Touka and shoves her out of the way, as he gets hit impaled on the lower jaw with Narukami. Arima pulls Narukami out, as blood gushes out of Yomo's open wound, which begins to stream out of Yomo's broken raven mask.
"Yomo!" Touka shouted, as Arima takes another swing at Yomo. Ayato arrives just in time to block Narukami with his left Ukaku wing, before turning his head to face Yomo.
"Don't give out yet, old man!" Ayato said, annoyed, as Touka jumps up to fire multiple red shards at Arima. Ayato does the same with his right Ukaku wing, as Arima sprints like a madman, dodging a flurry of red and purple shards.
"I mean this, I'm okay (Trust me)!" The PA systems blared, as Arima then sprints towards Touka and lands a slash across her chest, as she falls on her back. Ayato sprints towards Arima to ambush him, but gets slashed across the chest as well, when Arima turns around. Ayato too, falls on his back. Yomo then gets up and looks at Arima, who turns to face him.

"Yomo, your sister isn't gone completely. Her legacy still lives on." I said, as I drank my mug of coffee. I'm wearing a green T-shirt, black Converse, black jeans, and black-rim glasses. Yomo is wearing a silver sweatshirt, black jeans, and black Skechers.
"How so?" Yomo said, wondering.
"Through her kids." I said.

Ward 23, Cochlea, Somewhere in Level 3
Isaac, you're right. Through Touka and Ayato, I will see Hikari again. To think that my actions and my life weren't meaningless, Yomo thought, as he took off his raven mask, and activated his Kakugan.
"Yomo?!" Touka thought, as two black wings emerge from Yomo's shoulders, while his grits his teeth. Purple electricity crackles through his wings as he sprints towards Arima.
I will protect them, no matter what! Yomo thought, determined, as he brings forth an electric purple orb from his right hand, and lunges it towards Arima. Arima deflects it with the overly large hilt of Narukami, before aiming his Quinque towards Yomo. A large blue electric orb forms, as Arima fires it
at Yomo.
"YOMO!" Ayato and Touka shouted, as Yomo closed his eyes before deactivating his Kakugan.
Hikari… Yomo thought, as he waits for death, only to hear something land on the ground. He opens his eyes to see that Kaneki is standing next to him. Kaneki has left Kakugan activated as he blocked the orb with a gigantic red Rinkaku tentacle.
Yomo, Ayato, and Touka look on in shock as claws emerge from the tip of Kaneki's Rinkaku tentacle, while Switchfoot's "Meant to Live" plays over the PA systems. Kaneki looks at Touka, who has a calm smile on her face. Kaneki then sprints towards Arima, and tries to hit Arima with his tentacle, only for Arima to block it with Narukami. They find themselves in a stalemate before leaping back 10 feet.
"Ayato!" Kaneki said, as Ayato looked at him from behind.
"Mothman said lowest drainage port, correct?!" Kaneki said, as Ayato's eyes widen in surprise.
He knows about Isaac's plan?! Ayato thought, as he spoke.
"Yeah!" Ayato said.
"Get them out, now! You'll find Hinami and Banjou there! Go!" Kaneki shouted, as Ayato and Yomo head out the door that Kaneki busted through earlier.
"We were meant to live for so much more." The PA systems blared, as Touka spoke.
"Kaneki." Touka said, as Kaneki looked at her.
"See you later." Touka said, as her eyes welled up. Kaneki lets out a light chuckle, as Touka follows
Ayato and Yomo. Kaneki then looks at Arima.
A little hit harsh much, Touka? Kaneki thought, as he and Arima sprint towards each other with their weapons at the ready.

Ward 23, Cochlea, Somewhere in Level 3
Hinami is sitting with her back against the wall, while Banjou, Jiro, Sante, and Ichimi look around to see if anyone else is coming.
"Over there!" Banjou said, as he sees Touka, Ayato, and Yomo sprinting towards them.
"Hinami!" Ayato said, as Hinami looked at Ayato.
"Ayato…" Hinami said, as tears welled up in her eyes. She gets up, runs towards him, and kisses his lips as Ayato wraps his arms around her waist. They lock lips for 5 more seconds, before taking a step back.
"Sorry I'm late…Isaac and I needed time to figure out how to get you out." Ayato said, calmly, as he let out a content sigh.
"Let's go home. Isaac is really looking forward to having you meet Asami." Ayato said, as Hinami smiled. She then sees Touka walking towards her.
"Touka…" Hinami said, as tears streamed down her face. Touka then raises her right hand as Hinami closes her eyes. Hinami then feels something around her cheeks. Hinami opens her eyes to see that Touka is pinching her cheeks. Touka lets out a light chuckle.
"Knucklehead." Touka said, as she smiled.
"I'm sowwy." Hinami said, as Ayato chuckled.
"All right, guys. Let's go. Ayato, where are we going?" Banjou said, wondering.
"We're heading further down. Level 5." Ayato said.
"The Disposal Room?" Banjou said, flustered.
"Mothman said there's a drainage port at Level 5 that's connected to the Disposal Room. We shut down that machine, we can escape through it." Ayato said.
"Got it." Banjou said, as everybody headed further down Cochlea.

Kaneki and Arima are 15 feet away from each other. Kaneki tosses his black trench coat and activates his left Kakugan. Three red Rinkaku tentacles emerge from his hips as he activates his left Kakugan.
I will be the pawn, Kaneki thought, as he sprinted towards Arima.

I'm 100 feet near the base as Tatara said. I see multiple White Suit Ghouls looking around. I count at least 2 houses, each one being 3 stories tall. I take some time to collect myself and speak to my earpiece.
"Akira, Hoji." I whispered, calmly, as I hear Hoji's voice on the other end.
"Isaac, you're alive?" Hoji said, surprised.
"Yeah. I used APII during my fight with Tatara. I knocked out 2 of his Kakuho, but he fled afterwards." I whispered, calmly.
"That's great to hear, Isaac. Where are you?" Akira said, wondering.
"Near a base. White Suits. Going dark." I said, calmly.
"Isaac, hold—" Akira said, as I turned off my right earpiece. I then pull out from my right breast pocket, a small black box. I open it. Inside is pink cocaine.

I then proceed to take a line of pink cocaine on my partially severed right index finger. I inhale it through my nostrils. My eyes widen upon the pink cocaine entering my system.
I also pull out from my left breast pocket, a left Bluetooth earpiece. I place it on my left ear and pull out an iPhone 6 Plus from my front left pocket. I go to Spotify and select "Fuckin' Problems" by A$AP Rocky, featuring Drake, 2 Chainz, and Kendrick Lamar. I then tap my chest twice to activate APII, as I sprinted towards the White Suit nearest to me and fired a barrage of shards from Douhi.

Author's Notes:
This was an adaptation of Chapter 128 of TG OG, Chapters 70, 71, 72, 85, and 88 of TG: re, Season 2, Episode 8 (where Eto and Tatara look at the snow), and Season 4, Episodes 2 & 3 of the anime version.
Tatara, Hoji, Yomo, and Isaac take the spotlight, as Tatara's backstory is finally unveiled (as best as I could), while Hoji reveals the details on what happened during Operation Red Mist. Isaac and Tatara finally have their confrontation, before finally coming to an understanding. Isaac then discovers a shocking revelation that will leave Eto vulnerable in her confrontation with Furuta; he's unaware that Takizawa heard the entire conversation between him and Tatara. And finally, there's Yomo, who after learning from Isaac's conversation about legacy and family years ago, steps up to defend Ayato and Touka, as Ayato finally reunites with Hinami (they're not out of the woods, just yet).
Chapter 111 will see Isaac attempting to find Tomoe, during his drug fueled rampage against the White Suits, as he continues his quest to rescue Mutsuki.
If you're wondering, Iistuu, the Quinque that Hoji uses during his battle against in Chapter 88 of TG: re, came from the Kakuho of Tatara's niece, Xiulan for this reimagining.
To Guest from Chapter 109: As I said from the Author's Notes on Chapter 108, Eto's overall fate was never properly addressed by Sui Ishida during the Six Years Later… Epilogue. I am planning to address that. And she will still play an active role after the 3CR/R Arc (just in flashbacks).

Ward 20, Undisclosed Building, Rooftop
Kaneki is wearing a black sweater and black shorts over a thick black bodysuit, with thin cutouts on his arms and legs, and Black Puma sneakers. He also has white hair. He is looking over the buildings of Ward 20, as the rain continues to pour down. He hears coughing. He turns and sees that it's Nishio. Nishio is wearing a black sweater, blue jeans, red Vans, and brown rim glasses.
"I see that you're eager to partake in this. Dumbass." Nishio said, chuckling.
"Hey, Nishio." Kaneki said, as they sat down in crisscross position.
"30 stories. Great view." Nishio said, as he looks at the city.
"Yomo called me. Anteiku is beyond salvation." Kaneki said, somberly.
"Damn Doves. I don't mind Isaac, though. That was out of his hands." Nishio said, calmly.
"Mr. Yoshimura told me to stop Isaac." Kaneki said, as Nishio looked at him.
"Stop him from what?" Nishio said, puzzled.
"From killing Mr. Yoshimura." Kaneki said, as Nishio looked confused.
"Why?" Nishio said, curious.
"Isaac found his daughter. She's convinced him to take revenge on Mr. Yoshimura." Kaneki said, as Nishio had a confused look on his face.
"What are you talking about?" Nishio said.
"I don't have time to explain." Kaneki said, as Nishio scoffed.
"There's no way that's how it going to end. Isaac just goes and abruptly turns against us. That's stupid." Nishio said, sighing.
"It's gonna suck that the Doves won't know which server at Anteiku was a Ghoul." Nishio said.
"Nope." Kaneki said, as they hear gunfire from around the sealed off area.
"If you pick up and vanish, they won't find you. For fuck's sake, Mr, Yoshimura has grown on me." Nishio said, as thunder cracks the sky.
"Koma, Irimi. Way too nice. You know, Isaac and Irimi do seem like a nice pairing." Nishio said, as Kaneki looked at him.
"Isaac and Irimi?" Kaneki said, curious.
"They've been dating for about 7 months." Nishio said, as thunder cracks the sky again.
"Yomo is busy doing last minute stuff." Kaneki said.
"He's going to Touka's place. Cuz I know for sure she's gonna try and pull something." Nishio said, as Kaneki looked at him.
"What about you?" Kaneki said, wondering.
"I'm getting the fuck out of here. I die here, Yoshimura, Irimi, and Koma's lives will have been for naught." Nishio said, as he got up.
"My gullible sister, Yumiko. Before she died, she told me to live. So, before I go off the grid, I'm gonna go see Kimi." Nishio said, as he chuckled.
"Why?" Kaneki said.
"I'm not gonna let her wait for me until she's 75. Besides…" Nishio said, as he turned to face him.
"There's no way I'm gonna pass an opportunity to get laid with Kimi one last time before going off the grid." Nishio said, as he smiled.
"You know, if Isaac and I…" Kaneki said, as Nishio had a displeased look on his face.
"Don't bring that up now and make it sound depressing, you idiot. I'm thankful that you guys helped me out on that, even though Isaac knew who we were." Nishio said. Nishio then looks at the BDSM mask that Kaneki has in his hands.
"But seriously, Kaneki. Why are you doing this? You've got Hinami, Banjou, his friends, and even, ugh, Tsukiyama, waiting for you." Nishio said, as Kaneki got up.
"I keep thinking about Mr. Yoshimura and his motivations for Anteiku. Who AND what did he open that café for? Why would someone like him who loves humans so much…" Kaneki said, as Nishio spoke.
"Hey. You know about the cup that's stored in the back of the cupboard at the pantry?" Nishio said.
"Yeah. I've seen it. A small, blue antique coffee cup. Never used even once." Kaneki said, calmly.
"You know, I think he's been waiting all this time…" Kaneki said, calmly.
All this time to see his daughter again, Kaneki thought, as he sighed.
"I'm gonna help them out one last time, and on my terms. I…" Kaneki said, as he and Nishio are interrupted by a familiar voice.
"I'm not letting you go." The voice said, as they turn to see Tsukiyama. Tsukiyama is wearing a purple flannel shirt, black pants, and brown Johnston & Murphy leather shoes.
"Tsukiyama?" Kaneki said, somewhat surprised, as Tsukiyama has a somewhat sad look on his face.

Off the coast of Ward 8, Rushima
Tsukiyama is wearing a black hooded robe over a purple flannel shirt, purple pants, and black Johnston & Murphy leather shoes. Irimi is wearing a black hooded robe over a sleeveless black shirt, black jeans, Black Dober mask, and black Converse. She has purple nail polish on her fingernails. They are awestruck as they reach the White Suit base. They see that the 2 houses in front of them are up in flames, along with the numerous dead and mutilated White Suit Ghouls that are lying on the ground.
"Que diable s'est-il passé ici (French for 'What the hell happened here')?" Tsukiyama said, in shock, as Irimi feels something touch her right Converse sneaker. Irimi looks to see that it's a White Suit Ghoul.
"Hey, what happened?" Irimi said, wondering, as the WSG looked up at Irimi.
"We were attacked. Dove. Black armor. Screamed 'Kill 'em all dead bodies in the hallway'. Took a hostage." WSG said, wheezing.
"Hey, was Naki here?" Tsukiyama said, wondering.
"Guard tower. Can't miss." WSG said, as he gave one last breath before dying. Tsukiyama and Irimi then look at each other.
"We need to find Naki. Where's Nishio?" Tsukiyama said, wondering.
"He went to look around Rushima." Irimi said, as she activates her Kakugan and sprints off. Tsukiyama follows suit.
