Chapter 16

Something… was definitely going on.

The next morning, Gojo wondered about but found that the students were gathering up at the communal eating area. They have taught the students old enough to cook for themselves, the younger ones are slowly getting kitchen experiences before they are ready to handle making a meal.

But today, was odd.

The students were all gathering about and whispering.

"You seeing this?"

"I know, who knew they could eat so much?"

Gojo leaned in and whispered. "What's going on?"

It startled the students but they sighed with relief to see Gojo standing there. "We're watching the headmasters of the school chowing down. I never seen anyone eat that much before… never."

"Huh? They're eating the place out?"

"Well, we over heard Eso Sensei last night, he had just gotten all new and fresh meat from the hunt. But didn't have the room for it. There were a lot of older meats he decided to use up to make room, Suiryu and Yuuji sensei said they would handle the rest if he was okay with it… since then, they have eaten anything and everything he has brought out to them."

It wasn't out of the realm of possibilities for Suiryu to pack away a lot of food, he is known for that after all. Yuuji too if he is hungry enough. But as he peered over the students, he froze.

On either side of them, they had piles, upon piles of empty and dirty dishes. It was like something out of a cartoon! Yet they kept going!

Eso had come out with the latest plate but said. "This is the last one… are you two sure you are okay?" he asked nervously.

Suiryu merely nodded as he waved the plate over.

They ate it all then and there too, but the looks on their faces…

Eso picked up on it instantly. "You're not full, are you?"

The two shied away. "You are not cooking any more for us… it's not fair." Yuuji said but held his stomach oddly. "That was a ridiculous amount of food, how can we not be full?!"

"We're dragons!" Suiryu snapped back.

"I know we are, but still, we cannot be eating this place out of food! We need to go hunt."

Suiryu nodded in agreement. "Bro, thank you. And sorry for the mess…"

"You do dishes for a week when you get this under control. Understood!" he demanded.

They nodded and turned to leave. The students have since scattered, but Gojo remained. "So… still hungry huh? Any ideas as to what you want to hunt down?"

Suiryu shook his head. "We better find something good or we're in trouble…" he paused oddly. "Kitsune said something about orcs…"

Gojo snickered. "Orcs? Really? You mean the pigs on two feet?"

"Yes, those kinds of Orcs."

Gojo jumped as Kitsune came from behind him. "One of the few who can still get the drop on me…" he said and snickered.

However, she ignored him and approached the Itadoris. Yuuji and Suiryu appeared concerned. "If you two will come with me, I am certain we can solve two situations at once." She said.

Yet before Gojo could even ask, they vanished! The three of them were gone in the blink of an eye…

"Well, I guess I'll be…" as Gojo turned, he jumped again as Yua now stood there! "Can you not turn off your curse signature like that on me? I am not use to people getting past me!"

She rolled her eyes but snickered, yet froze as she saw all the dishes left on the tables. "What the hell…"

"Itadoris got hungry… they are still hungry." He explained.

Yua paused as she let the notion sink in. "This isn't good…" she muttered.

"What do you mean? They are just hungry!"

"Satoru… what happens if it gets to the point where we cannot satisfy their hunger? What do you think will happen to two young dragons that don't get enough to eat?" she snapped back at him.

He paused but then realized the severity of the situation. "Ah… point taken… they would go ballistic and eat anything and everything to fill themselves…"

"We need to better understand this, for the moment, let's help Eso out, he has to be tired from all of this."

It wasn't how he wanted to start off his day, but knowing Yua, she would hold it against him if he didn't help out! So for a good portion of the morning, he and Yua did dishes as Eso managed to refill his fridges and freezers.

By mid afternoon, they returned.

Yuuji was in much higher spirits than before, Suiryu too. They looked and acted like their old selves again. "God, I needed that… who knew Orcs tasted so good!" Suiryu said aloud.

"Orcs?"

Yua overheard him and grew curious. "You two ate Orcs?"

"They were everywhere!" Yuuji said in an oddly excited tone. "But not just that, they were attacking people and other creatures of the divine. We found women they kidnapped and females from the divine side. We liberated everyone… after eating the orcs… that was what? Twenty each?"

"About right…" Suiryu said offhandedly.

"HOW did you find Orcs?" Yua asked. "I have heard of them, but my family hasn't encountered them before… I don't think…"

"You probably have, but they are in human disguise." Suiryu explained. "Apparently they have an excellent cloaking jujutsu. They learn that the moment they walk to blend into human society and to kidnap women…" he paused oddly as an idea came over him. "Which means we can do the same now…"

Yuuji's eyes widened. "Oh, you mean shape shift?!"

"Not now!" Yua scolded. "You know every time you use jujutsu or are trying to figure it out, it's hard on your system as well, and it takes away your energy that you are using to suppress your hunger!"

The two paused and hung their heads. "Sorry…"

"Until you get this under control better, you two should just focus on keeping yourselves full and fed. Understood?"

They nodded. Like scolded little boys they accepted what she had to say and appeared to be listening to her. Yet as they began to walk away, she noticed Yuuji scratching his head oddly. He was using two hands to do it.

"Itchy scalp?" Gojo asked of her.

"If it is, it would be a miracle. I doubt it… if anything… someone's horns are growing in…"
