Chapter 21

Back in the earthly realm.

Yua finally settled down.

When Gojo got her home, he kept his arms wrapped around her, refusing to release Yua until she calmed down. She took deep breaths and shed tears over the incident. But she kept reminding herself, they NEVER would have done that to her in their right frame of minds.

"Oh God…" she whispered.

"Shhh, it's okay now, Yua. Yuuji and Suiryu are being taken care of… it's okay." He said in a calming tone.

She found herself nestling into Satoru a lot more. She finally settled three hours later. Yua was quick to first check herself over, there were no wounds to address, let alone find thanks to Lady Tiamat. But what startled her was the fact that, despite the wounds she endured… she shouldn't have survived them. Dragon claws, any kind of scratch they land on a victim well go septic rather quickly. Not to mention, the wounds weren't that deep, and yet, the blood flowing out of her was not something that could be ignored.

Even as a sorcerer, this should have had far more devastating consequences.

"Yua?"

She snapped out of her daze as Satoru looked her over. "I'm okay, I was just… thinking." She said offhandedly. Her hand blindly reached for her stomach where Suiryu landed a rather powerful strike. She knew then and there that was the blow that would have taken her life had Lady Tiamat not appeared.

She sighed aloud, but then felt Satoru's arms wrap around her. He began to kiss the side of her neck gently before working his way up to her cheek. She leaned into him. "Why did you want me the most?" she asked.

He paused for a moment. "You're asking this now?" he snickered. "Yua, I haven't wanted anyone else. It's not every day I find someone who is nearly at my level."

She nodded. Despite her abilities, she knows she isn't as powerful as Satoru. However, she is a close second place no doubt.

Just as she thought about it, he suddenly came from the side and landed a kiss on her lips! "Satoru!" she said in shock.

But he snickered. In fact, there was a little devious look on his face. "Say… Yua… how about we have a late dinner?" he asked offhandedly.

She was stunned by his suggestion, but that look in his eyes, well… that spoke of something else. For once, she wasn't going to argue with him on the notion. Instead, Yua pulled out of his arms and made a quick call. "Hi, Eso. Can I take a rain cheque on the offer for dinner? I greatly appreciate it, but… Satoru has something else in mind. Okay? Thank you." And hung up.

"What did you do that for?" he asked.

"Well. Something tells me, we are not going to want to be disturbed for a while, right?" she asked curiously.

His smile grew. "You want to see how limitless I can be?" and gave a playful wiggling of his eyebrows.

"I think you were going to show me either way." She snickered.

The days passed, and then weeks… and then months.

It was two before they realized it. However, there has been no sign of Yuuji or Suiryu. Lady Tiamat hasn't even kept them updated on the situation. But perhaps, it's for the best. They are growing dragons, she rather have them stay where they are until they are in their right frame of minds again, or repeat what just happened…

She does not want to repeat what happened!

Yua has never been scared to die in a sense. Yet, when she faced off against those two… well… a whole different fear was put into her that day. As hard as it is to wrap one's mind around it, she also understands that they couldn't stop themselves. Gojo on the other hand doesn't seem so forgiving.

"They should have said something!" he said one day. She didn't realize that he too was stewing on this for just as long as she was! "I mean, Suiryu should have known better at least! Yuuji… Yuuji would have wrangled himself in, but this time…"

"Satoru… how many times have you dealt with a young dragon?" she asked.

He was about to speak but held his tongue.

"As much as it was scary as it was… I know they would not have hurt me on purpose. Suiryu respects me, so does Yuuji… we can't hold this against them or over their heads." She insisted.

He sighed aloud to it all. "Fine!" he protested. "But I am NOT happy about it."

She giggled at his reaction. Even so, ever since it occurred, she found the curse wombs have been bending over backwards to help her with the smallest task. Perhaps they feel obligated to do so after what their brothers put her through. She tried to set their minds at ease and even told Choso she was okay and this was not their fault either.

Chose was adamant. "As older brothers, we set the example. We must have done something wrong for them to do this to you of all people, Yua. No, this is something we MUST do," he insisted. The brothers were all in agreement.

Yua turned to Junpei who wasn't nodded along with the older brothers. "I am outnumbered here and have to go with the majority" he whispered to her. "Besides, we don't mind helping you out Yua."

She smiled and nodded graciously to them. "Thank you, but please, do not over do it."

Eso has been cooking all her meals as of late. Junpei is willing to go out and get whatever is needed in the cities. Yua has found she can't bare to leave the domain for long periods of time. She feels sick to her stomach. The triplets have been her gopher boys, bringing things to her from the other brothers.

Choso has gone all out in making her blankets.

There were a lot of leftover materials from Lady Tiamat's legions that he used that to create blankets, shawls and pillows for Yua. Sometimes Choso's talent is scary!

But, she felt she was greatly appreciated by them. Still, she wondered how long it would be before the Itadori twins return…
