Chaos 12: The Reunion

It's a gorgeous morning on Twilight Island.

The seagulls were chirping as loud as they could, signaling everyone across the village that it was time to wake up. If one were to look at the village, they would see that a party had just recently happened. There were people sleeping (mainly men) all over the beach with empty mugs in their hands, a large used cooking pan and small grills, burnt tiki torches. There were also several Chao, Critters and Wisps amongst them sleeping as well.

At Kia's house, Naruto was sound asleep in the guest room, his shortened hair all messy. He felt the rays of the sun hitting his face, irritating him slightly as he opened his eyes halfway. He shook his head and let out a loud yawn, smacking his lips as he sat up and looked out the window. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes as he saw the aftermath of what happened the previous night, watching as many housewives were waking up their husbands while those who were awake immediately went to clean the beach.

"Oh man, what a wild party last night." Naruto commented as he laid back down. The young guardian turned his head to the side, possibly to get a little bit more sleep, only to feel a forehead touching his own. "Hm?" He opened his eyes halfway again to see Kia's face close to his, their nose almost touching each other. He looked down and saw she was wearing her pajamas, which was a tank and pants that were a lighter shade of orange.

The guardian stared at her for a bit longer before his eyes opened in comical shock as he moved his head back away from her and kept his mouth tightly shut to stop a scream of shock that was about to come out.

"Are you kidding me!? Okay, don't freak out! Do it like last time! Just move very slowly and don't-?!"

Just when he was about to move, he felt furry arms wrap themselves around his neck and he felt something...soft rubbing his arm. His body went stiff as he saw a white cat's tail in front of his face. He slowly looked to his left and felt his jaw drop with a huge blush on his face. Felicia was in the same bed as them...and not only was she not in her cat form, her outfit was gone, leaving her...basically EXPOSED with all the white fur covering her more private areas.

Okay, he was so terribly glad that they were asleep. Because if they were awake, they would see that his entire body was the color of a strawberry, cherry or anything else that was red. What kind of f'd up situation was this? This was something that only happens to those protagonists from those harem anime/manga! If they taught him anything, it is that if he ever gets caught in a situation like this, then he needs to hurry up and get out of it before someone or something wakes the girls up!

KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Hey Naruto! Wake up! Breakfast is almost ready!"

A flat look appeared on Naruto's face with his eyebrow twitching dangerously. Was this really some kind of twisted joke created by fate?

"Omochao, I'mma kill you."

The young guardian paled when he heard the girls groaning. He looked down at Kia and saw her rubbing her eyes before looking up at him tiredly. She blinked the tiredness out of her eyes and stared at him while drooling.

"M-Morning Kia." Naruto stuttered as he smiled nervously at her.

Kia continued to stare at Naruto before noticing the questionable position the two were in with her arms wrapped around his neck and her leg over his. She also noticed that Naruto was currently shirtless and was wearing only blue shorts. Her whole face burned hotly with her eyes widening by the second.

"Hm~what a nice dream~" Felicia said as she released Naruto's arm, sitting up and yawning. "Good morning Naruto! Kia!"

All she got in reply was silence. Kia turned to look at Felicia and saw her nearly bare body with her arm wrapped around Naruto's. A couple of seconds later, the sound of two screams, one out of embarrassment and the other out of fear were heard in the house which made those who were awake or sleep jump a little in surprise.

A few more seconds later, there were sounds of slapping and punching inside the guest room with the door moving as though someone was trying to escape. Inside the kitchen, the sound made Nala stop cooking for a moment as she looked at the guest room door and heard the ruckus that was going inside it. She placed a hand on her cheek and looked amused.

"Haha. It's gotten so much livelier here." She went back to her cooking and paid no mind to the people outside who were looking at the house strangely because of the noises while Zane and Ethan looked at the door with confusion.

A couple minutes later, everyone sat around the table and began to eat their breakfast. Sarabi, Zane, Ethan and Omochao were looking at the other trio that were sitting across from them and saw their reactions. Kia had her eyes closed and was eating her breakfast, though her cheeks were still dusted red in slight embarrassment. Next to her, Naruto had several bumps on his head along with red handprints on his cheek and a bruise on the other. Felicia was at the end and happily ate her breakfast.

Sarabi had a teasing smile on her face. "Now what on earth has happened to you, Naruto? Was it a rough morning I presume?" A painful moan from him was the answer she got.

"More painful than rough…" Naruto said, flinching in fear when Kia opened one eye halfway to glare at him. From the way he was backing away, it looked like he was about ready to bolt the moment she tried to attack him again.

"Hmph." Thankfully, she didn't and went back to eating her breakfast.

Naruto sighed in relief that he was off the hook. So then…why did he feel a powerful killing intent coming from right next to him? He went stiff as he slowly turned to Kwan, only to see his face somehow being shadowed and he was holding some sort of native knife as he tapped it on the table. His eyes were glaring in his direction making Naruto sweat nervously.

Ethan looked comically confused about what was happening, Omochao sweat dropped at this while Zane had a neutral expression. Sarabi was giggling and Nala was more composed though she did send an apologetic look at Naruto's way.

Sarabi then coughed to bring the awkwardness to an end, even though she wished for it to continue as it amused her. "So Naruto, little Omochao has been telling me that you plan on bringing people to the island?"

Naruto was a bit caught off guard by the change in subject but was thankful for it as it got rid of the awkwardness. He shook his head and his injuries instantly disappeared. "That's right! Moving forward, Angel Island will be a place where everyone can follow their hearts, live in peace and have somewhere to start over!"

"Yeah!" Felicia cheered happily as she fist bumps the air. "And we're gonna help him make it happen!"

"Are you sure that's okay?" Nala asked, looking a little worried for him. "I mean, it's beautiful that you want all sorts of people to live there but there could be those who would want to just take the Master Emerald."

"I wouldn't worry about that." Kia said with a sly expression which was shared by the others.

"Oh?" Sarabi raised a curious brow at seeing the expressions on their faces with Nala and Kwan looking also curious. "Why's that?"

"Let's just say…" Naruto started. "A lot of changes happened on the island yesterday and I know for sure that the bad guys will be more than happy to have a Master Emerald."

The young demigod still couldn't get over what happened the other day. Immediately after he opened his eyes, he saw the shocked expressions everyone had when they looked at him. Confused by this, he looked over himself and saw the markings on his Chaos Mode. He immediately turned to the Master Emerald, seeing his reflection as he saw the changes of the form.

When he turned back to his human form, he found out that there were no changes done but he didn't remember what had even happened. Thankfully, his friends explained what went on while he was in a trance. But he won't lie, he truly did feel like he was complete and that he felt stronger than before.

After that little episode, Naruto called most of the island's inhabitants and brought them to the shrine. After a tearful reunion with the island inhabitants as they hugged the life out of Naruto, he introduced them to his friends. That's when they all did a proper greeting to the island's first ever visitors and new residents.

Naturally, Ethan and Felicia were all stunned and in awe as they saw the otherworldly creatures on the island. Felicia immediately fell in love with them as she found them to be the most adorable creatures she had ever seen and actually gathered some of them in a group hug.

To her, they reminded her of the animals from the cartoons she watched in her childhood. She was also immediately well-liked among the cat family critters and the Chao who inherited their traits. Ethan found himself having fun with the little creatures as they swarmed him lovingly yet very gently so they wouldn't scare him, getting him to pet each of them on the head. Kia and Zane had already seen the Neutral versions of the Chao, but they never saw the Hero or Dark versions nor the Wisps. They only heard of them when Naruto told them the story of his first Halloween.

Omochao gave an explanation for the Hero and Dark variants while Naruto gave an explanation of their alien friends and their powers. Some of the Wisps even went at Naruto and began scolding him in their alien language with Naruto looking sheepish as he bowed his head in apology. They were unhappy with him because they went on a cool adventure and he didn't bother to ask them if they wanted to come along.

After that, Naruto happily gave everyone the grand tour of the island, which brought excitement to his new friends, especially Kia as she herself wanted to explore her former life's homeland. Just when they were about to get the tour started Naruto, Omochao and the island resident's realized that the Chaos Control from earlier had caused a great deal of changes to happen on the island.

For when they left the shrine area, which was hidden by a cave blocked by a waterfall, and into the forest, Naruto had discovered that there was a path that was never there before which confused him and Omochao greatly. He and his friends watched as the others ran to said path, all of them looking curious. Some of them even stopped and excitedly told them to follow them which they did.

The path that they were following led them right towards a brand new Zone!

Seeing this made Naruto excitedly leap high into the air, unknowingly summoning a gust of light green wind below his feet that gave him an extra launch, to get a better view of the City Zone, and what he saw stunned him.

The beautiful city was placed in the center of an open area which was surrounded by forests and small hills. The buildings were all nice and sparkling clean, but also looked futuristic. On the west side of the city was a forest with a large beautiful japanese-style bathhouse that had a stream that went somewhere and beautiful flowers surrounding it. To the east, there was an area that looked like an urban town. The north had a pretty impressive assortment of training grounds. He could also see that there was a large lake in the south area.

After Naruto came down, the group traveled through the city. They noted that the city was split into major districts which consisted of shopping, housing, park/playground, among others including an Academy. There were even trams and futuristic monorails around the city, along with these tube-like structures which they noticed they can travel through using these floating platforms. It had just about anything you would find in a city as large as this, including some coliseums for live music performances, fighting tournaments and events for the Olympic games.

Some of the buildings even had board promotions of movies, snacks and all kinds of restaurants Felicia ain't ever heard of. They were even promoting hover vehicles called Extreme Gear.

Another thing they noticed was the city was so...green. Not green as in there are mosses growing everywhere but green as in nature. The city was filled to the brim with healthy trees, grass, flowers, gardens, rivers with bridges over them that end with a waterfall and even ponds. Most of the smaller buildings even had water flowing out of them as though they were a fountain. It was like this city was living in perfect harmony with nature. There were also Rings scattered throughout the Zone which Naruto told everyone to pick up after explaining their purpose.

Naruto, Felicia, and Omochao even noticed that there was not a single car and bus in sight, despite this being a city.

After they finished exploring the new Zone, Felicia actually started crying which surprised everyone. To her, she was happy yet also sad. The city reminded her so much of the famous cities back on her earth and walking through it brought back so many memories. For so long she was trapped in this feudal japan-like era where shinobi ruled the planet and she missed her more modern world where there were TVs, video games, and most of all music of different genres. She was so thankful to God that Naruto was able to find her before she would die out in that storm, otherwise she would've missed seeing this!

After she said this, the others comforted her by giving her words of encouragement and some hugs. Once that little episode ended, Kia and Felicia 'led' the group back to various clothing stores where they tried out a lot of clothes which ranged from different cultures. They even made the boys try out some stuff, especially Naruto as they forced him into trying out some girl clothes, much to his absolute embarrassment as they saw they truly did make him look like one.

The group grabbed some clothes they liked and went to a diner where Naruto happily cooked everyone some breakfast, using the fruits he gathered from the trees across the Zone. Not counting Omochao, everyone else was surprised that Naruto could cook, and what he made using those fruits was delicious which only fueled Naruto's pride with his skills in the kitchen.

After they had their breakfast, Naruto quickly grabbed his friends as they continued their exploration on Angel Island.

The first Zone they explored was the Angel Jungle, a large peaceful jungle system located near the coast of the island. Much to their surprise, they saw the clean sea on the beach area, showing that the island had fallen on the ocean. The area is full of vegetation, with exotic plants and palm trees decorating it. There are also many waterfalls and water pools with Animals and Wisps spread out around the Zone.

Much to Naruto and Omochao's amazement, the Zone went through an amazing change. The tropical jungle was a lot brighter and greener than usual as though it had grown. There were new kinds of exotic flowers, fruits, plants, and some ancient tombs and relics. There were also these water valves and pipes that feed directly into the plant life. All in all, the Zone looked like it would be a great tropical resort.

The next Zone they entered was something brand new, just like the City Zone. This new Zone shares many similarities with the famous Green Hill on South Island. It was close but not much. If anything this would count as one of the green-hill theme areas in Sonic's world but it was certainly better looking than the original. This zone was a paradise with a beautiful looking village. The buildings are big and there is a lot of plant life growing around. Vines appear on the checkered floor dirt, grind rails, the shuttle loops and corkscrew loops. There were both natural and mechanical palm trees and other plants which release clean air in the sky that makes natural plants grow. Wooden bridges are also seen along with a cave that leads to the lower area where crystal clear water is shown alongside some gemstones in the ground.

Naruto decided to call this new Zone, Green Paradise.

The group then traveled to the Hydro City, a large ancient temple system submerged in water. At least that's what it should look like but much to Naruto's shock, the Zone had changed and for the better.

Hydro City now looked like a fun aquarium and water park at the same time. The waters were now crystal clear and the drowning hazard seems to have died down. Although there were no natural dry spots as the ruins were still submerged, they now teemed with moss, brightly colored fish and dazzling corals. The glass tubes that were around the zone turned into elaborate glass encasement around large areas of the ruins. There were no spikes in sight and the large fans have been given covers to prevent injury. Even the waterslides were safe with some of them being used as stairs. They also noticed these statues that bore a resemblance to Chaos and Tikal.

Felicia commented that this zone would be a great tourist attraction and a great place for aquamarine-like darkstalkers to live in.

Once they explored all they could, the group left via Naruto blasting them straight out of the roof of the temple and onto the next Zone; Marble Garden, an ancient ruined city. Being one of the largest Zones on the island, you can see orange mountains under a blue, clean sky. Some ruins are covered in large amounts of vegetation.

The zone is even more breathtaking than it was before. From the looks of it, the ancient city of the Zone has been rebuilt to its original state with eco-friendly green houses scattered in hidden areas. The hazardous traps, spiked balls and the sinking muds are now gone with the Spinning Tops being something that you can sit and laze around on without running on it to make it move almost like a hoverboard. There were also beautiful marble carved ornate benches and statues of Naruto and the others.

There was also a new area that is heavily inspired by Ancient Roman architecture and features large centurion statues, Doric columns, aqueducts, antiquarian villas, and active fountains.

The Marble Garden looked like a beautiful nature park.

The group made their way towards the Carnival Night, only for Naruto and Omochao to once again be shocked once they made it to the entrance. It was gone! The carnival that Dr. Eggman created on the island without Knuckles' say so was replaced by a brand new carnival...no. It was replaced by an amusement park!

There were a whole lot of new rides, some neon signs on buildings that had Naruto and the others names on them, and large balloons of various characters' heads, including their own. Unlike Carnival Night which always took place at night hence its name, the zone has a time frame to match with the other zones and there were no hazardous obstacles in their way.

Speaking of, this new amusement park still has some elements of Carnival Night, such as the circus-themed tents, circus display shops and there was also a boardwalk that led to a large ocean. Balloon Park was also still part of the zone. This new zone even had a castle! A castle! How coolio was that!?

Naruto decided to call this new place; SEGA World!

Once the fun and games were done, they went to the Ice Cap, a large piece of land covered in frost and icy mountains. Just like before with other Zones, everyone stood in awe as the Ice Cap went through an incredible change just like the other old zones.

The Ice Cap has truly become a winter wonderland that fits the Christmas theme. The mountains are still icy but they now have walkways to get from the top to the bottom and they also seemed bigger. The ice machines that were scattered in the Zone were long gone. There were also large multicolored crystals and ice sculptures scattered around.

Just being in this Zone made the group feel like they wanted to drink some hot chocolate and sit around a warm fire.

The group next made their way to the Launch Base. Naruto and Omochao weren't even surprised to see that it had changed. The Launch Base is now in a far more natural state and has become a type of airport for flying vehicles. It also looked like a place scientists would live in as there was a research center and telecommunications building. The lake is crystal clean and there are bridges across it. The surface of the Zone is now white with various shades of blue. It even had a piping system

In fact, they actually discovered an airship that somewhat bore a resemblance to Eggman's Flying Battery, except it was more of a leisure airship instead of a battleship. It even had Naruto's symbol on the balloon. It almost looked like something out of a fantasy video game.

After exploring the zone, they followed a whitewater rafting that led them into Mushroom Hill, a forest hill filled to the brim with giant mushrooms. Not much of it has changed, except the forest was bigger and there were more colorful mushrooms. There were also several large mushrooms which you can relax under as if it was a tree. There was also a river.

Naruto showed them a shortcut that leads into the Sandopolis, a scorching hot large desert and pyramid location. That too had gone through a great and incredible change. For one, Boo's House and the Hyudoro's Pyramid were gone. Second, nearly half of the desert is gone and was replaced with a new beautiful natural jungle filled with colorful plant life, unique flowers and tasty looking fruits along with palm trees. After exiting the jungle, they discovered there were newly added oases scattered throughout the zone.

The Egyptian pyramids that were still there are more preserved and maintained and are part of a beautiful garden in the middle of the desert. They also discovered a large river bank around the desert. Surprisingly enough, there was a new set of ruins in the desert and Desert Palace was still there.

Naruto had to admit, the Zone was definitely 100x better than it was before. Hell, if the Hidden Sand Village saw this, they would be jealous. The others agreed to that with Felicia even commenting that someone named Anakaris would love to claim this region as an empire.

The next Zone they entered was the Lava Reef, which takes place inside of the island's volcano. The Zone now had a crystal plant with green plants surrounding it. There were also crystals forming in the volcanic tubes with the lava having surprisingly cooled down. The zone was definitely safe to become a mining area for people who are into it.

After exploring Lava Reef, Naruto showed them a secret hidden passage that leads into the Hidden Palace. Surprisingly, it hasn't changed that much.

They also explored the shrine of the Hidden Palace. They also found an ancient Warp Point that leads right into the Sky Sanctuary, though Naruto was a bit anxious to check it out. When he first came here, the Sky Sanctuary was the only Zone he never got to see, mainly because of that damn Death Egg destroying most of it and Mecha Sonic's explosive end destroyed the remaining few. Everyone else shared his disappointment when Omochao told them about it.

But then Naruto remembered all the miraculous changes to certain Zones and the newer Zones. If these Zones were able to, then would it also be possible for Sky Sanctuary to return?

Now feeling more curious and wanting to know, Naruto was the first to take a step forward into the Warp Point and completely vanished somewhere. While everyone waited for Naruto to return, they didn't have to wait for long as he instantly returned, looking so excited that he was literally bouncing in place. He told them all to follow him before going back.

This of course made everyone look at one another before they warped after them. What they saw stunned them all to the core of their very being. Now they knew why this place was considered a holy place with Felicia believing they might've entered some sort of heaven.

The Sky Sanctuary consists of a series of floating ancient but somehow brand new ruins in a clean, light blue sky with few rather large clouds. The aforementioned ruins are made of white marble and are covered by many kinds of vegetation, such as mosses and palm trees. There are also some bridges with floors that are made of glass with technological patterns on them.

It was no wonder why no one was allowed to enter such a beautiful looking Zone. Kia wondered if the Knuckles Clan were the ones who created this place and forbidden those except their own to enter it. Ethan closed his eyes throughout the whole experience once he saw how high in the clouds they were. They were so incredibly high in fact, they were able to see all of Angel Island sitting on the ocean right next to the Mystic Ruins, and boy was it massive! It was so massive, it could even be a continent. They also saw a new island attached to Angel Island which was in the shape of a...Chao head? Seeing this made Naruto and Omochao gasp as they realized what that island was.

After leaving the Sky Sanctuary via Warp Point, they decided to visit the Mystic Ruins. There they discovered that even the Mystic Ruins had changed as well. Not only was the train station and the train itself gone, along with the wooden ramp, but it looked like a new piece of land was added as though it were a puzzle.

They looked at the extra large land to see that it was a slope hill filled with flowers that leads to the coast of a bay, complete with a large docking area. From the looks of it, this new area was meant for those traveling by sea to come and park their ships.

The group immediately left to explore the ruins of what was left of the Knuckles Clan. During this, with Naruto and Omochao explaining to the others about the Mystic Ruins, Kia took the lead this time but she looked like she was in a daze. Unknown to them, she was in fact having visions of seeing Tikal running around the ancient ruins throughout certain parts of her life. Some she saw with her mother, others she saw with her grandma, but not with her father unless he was training her.

Nobody didn't say anything as they let her take a trip down memory lane before she led them to a temple that looked like a house. After telling them that the place was in fact Tikal's house, Kia went inside to explore it with the others waiting outside to give her some time to reminisce.

As she explored every nook and cranny of her old home, she found a whole lot of stuff that belonged to Tikal, her mother and grandmother. She also found a whole bunch of ancient scrolls that were hidden behind a wall in Tikal's parents room. These ancient scrolls showed various martial arts fighting styles, which were obviously from Pachamac, and some were the teachings of how to use Chaos Energy. She grabbed the stuff and sent them into her own pocket dimension.

Once she was done, she met up with the others and continued the tour of the Mystic Ruins. Once that was finished they went to explore the new island. Much to Naruto's and Omochao's absolute joy, it was the famous Chao World that used to be located outside of Central City. As they explored the island, Omochao saw a lot of things had changed since he was last here. The island now looked like a resort for Chao to live in. The three original gardens; Hero, Neutral and Dark had not only expanded but there were other gardens as well. The Chao Lobby was replaced by a Resort Lobby and the Chao Kindergarten was still there, other than that the gardens themselves were completely empty.

While there were still some areas on Angel Island Naruto wanted to show them along with telling them that there were also hidden areas yet to be discovered, he decided to cut it early after Kia told him that she wanted to head back to her island to let everyone know that they finished their journey. Naruto agreed to that idea as he knew that they were no doubt worried about her and because it would take almost a whole while to explore the massive island. Zane agreed to this as well while the others were curious, wanting to learn more about Kia's island.

Before they left, some of the Chao, Wisps and Critters came along with them as they too wanted to learn more about Naruto's World and see it for themselves. Naruto then warps everyone to the village of Twilight Island, which makes the villagers stop what they were doing and look on with alarmed expressions, Kia's family among them.

When she saw them, Kia gave her family a tearful group hug which they immediately returned, bringing joy to everyone who was watching. Kia's friends saw her and joined in with hugging their friend, Zera and Anna crying tears of joy.

Team Chaos gave one another happy smiles at that with Naruto about to join in before he saw the death glare on Kwan's face, which made him stop and sweat nervously even though he still had the same happy expression.

After the tearful reunion, everyone noticed the newest additions to the group which shocked them as they saw the foreign creatures and Felicia especially, who happily waved at everyone and introduced herself to them while striking a pose and ending it with a 'Meow!'.

Naruto and Kia told everyone that the Chaos Warriors and Terios have been defeated which has brought loud cheers of joy. A moment later, there was a party. Everyone had a fantastic time. The islanders absolutely loved the Chao and Wisps, especially the children as they played with them non-stop. The villagers even got the chance to know more about Felicia as she entertained them with her singing and dancing. Ethan was having fun playing with Kion and the kids at their age group.

While the party was going on, Naruto, Kia and Zane were having a meeting with Kia's family and the village elders so that they could tell them about what happened. After a lengthy detailed explanation along with Naruto telling them about making Angel Island into a nation, the family let the group go out and have fun while they discussed what they learned from them.

As nightfall came, everyone performed a prayer for the people who lost their lives during the massacre by lighting wax candles on small boats and releasing them out at sea. Everyone turned into the night after that though some stayed out for the after party.

"Besides, the Master Emerald is a secret amongst us. So nobody will find out about it." Naruto finished what he said after that quick little flashback.

"You were definitely right about the island being a fun place to live in Naruto!" Felicia said happily after gulping down her breakfast. "I've never seen so many different environments placed on a single landmass! Not even some of the floating islands in Makai have that. It's like something out of a video game!"

"Yeah! It does, doesn't it?" Naruto asked before scratching his head sheepishly. "Though to be honest, I wasn't expecting the island to go through a complete remodel along with Chao Resort Island being added to it."

Kia shook her head. "Remodel or not, the island is still as beautiful as I imagined it would be." She closed her eyes and smiled fondly. "The regions, the hidden shrines and friendly creatures. We got to see many new and amazing things that it would be shameful not to have people come and live there."

"Which brings us back to the original subject." Kwan said, his tone that of a chief. His eyes focused on Naruto. "Starting a nation will not be an easy task. How exactly do you plan on going about bringing people there?"

"The others and I talked about it the other day." Naruto said, his tone serious. "There's plenty of ways to get to Angel Island. For me and Kia, we can just warp there ourselves due to our connection with the Master Emerald. For everyone else, they either have to fly using an aircraft or a creature that can fly or a Ring Portal."

"However, the Mystic Ruins now have a docking area for ships to come and go, which means we're gonna have to find some way to transport them from down there to up there." Kia added in. "But we'll worry about that later on."

Zane nodded in agreement. "Indeed. We also need to find those who are in need of homes and protection. The shinobi nations just so happen to be full of them."

"The only problem is we don't know where to begin." Naruto said, a small frown on his face.

"Why don't we ask Zabuza and Haku?" Omochao asked, getting everyone's attention. "Zabuza is a Missing Ninja and Haku is a trained Hunter-Nin. I'm pretty sure they've traveled a lot and know some people."

"Good choice, but not possible." Zane said.

Naruto nodded. "Yeah. Zabuza and Haku are in the Land of Water helping out in the civil war against the Mizukage, remember?"

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that." Omochao said.

"We should ask Tazuna instead." Kia suggested. "He's been a carpenter for a long time, so he must have seen and heard some stuff throughout his years of work."

"Hey yeah, that's a good idea." Naruto said happily. "If we're lucky, he can also introduce us to some people who…" He trailed off as a thought occurred to his mind at the thought of Tazuna, or better yet, a certain event that's supposed to happen. "Oh man! I completely forgot about the bridge!"

His reaction made everyone look at him while Kia, Zane and Omochao looked surprised as well.

"Nya? What bridge?" Felicia asked.

"The bridge that Tazuna and his men have been working on." Kia answered. "We promised Inari, his grandson, that we would come back and see the bridge after we beat the Chaos Warriors."

"Judging by how many days have passed since then, the bridge should be complete right about now." Zane said, placing his utensils on his empty plate.

"So does that mean, you will be going again?" Nala asked. She hasn't seen her daughter for so long, she feels saddened that she has to go away again.

"Yeah. But don't worry we'll be back." Kia reassured her mother before looking happy for some reason. "Matter of fact, there's something I want to tell all of you."

"What is it?" Kwan asked, curious to know what it was that made his daughter so happy all of a sudden. The others shared his curiosity.

Naruto was more than happy to say what she was going to tell her folks. "Well, last night me and Kia talked about some stuff and we got some exciting news to tell you!"

That caused a lot of reactions to happen within Kia's family; Nala had a delighted expression on her face, Sarabi looked amused while her eyes had a knowing look and Kwan's whole body went stiff, a horrified expression on his face.

"We decided…" Kwan's body began to tremble as Naruto continued. "That it would be great…" He slowly lifted his hand up and turned it into a fist. "If everyone on Twilight Island would come to-"

"NEVER!"

SLAM!

Everyone jumped at Kwan's sudden yelling and his fist destroying the table in half. They turned to see him already up from his seat and was making his way towards Naruto who tried to back away from the angered father looking scared and confused.

"H-Hey! What are you-!?" Naruto was grabbed by the neck and was lifted off the floor, his feet dangling in the air.

"You little bastard! I knew it! I knew you were just lousy, good for nothing little pervert!" Kwan yelled, his features set in an angry demonic face. "If you think you can just come here and ask for my daughter's hand in marriage then you got another thing coming!"

What he said made everyone look either comically shocked or surprised while Zane still retained his neutral expression though his eyes did widen ever so slightly. Naruto and Kia were both blushing hotly by what the village leader said.

"MARRIAGE!?" They both cried out.

"EHHH!?" Omochao looked between the two in surprise as the yellow dot turned into three exclamation marks. "You two are getting married!?"

"Congrats." Zane told the two.

"B...But what about me, Naruto?!" Felicia asked, looking like a sad cat that was about to lose her special someone.

"What do you mean!?" Naruto asked in confusion, feeling very scared right now at the situation he found himself in with Kia's dad.

"I wanna marry you too!" Felicia called out.

…

There was a major pause in the air as everyone stared at Felicia who had tears in the corner of her eyes as she glared at Naruto with a pouty expression while the guardian himself opened his mouth with shock. He slowly turned to look at Kwan, who took out the knife he had earlier, his pupils shrunk in absolute fury as he gave Naruto a murderous gaze.

"You're dead, boy."

Naruto gave out a comical scream as he warped out of Kwan's grasp and ran out the house with the village chief immediately chasing after him, his knife set on stabbing him. "It's a misunderstanding!"

"Father!" Kia called out angrily as she chased after the two, her whole face still red from her father's words. "He didn't ask me to marry him! Leave him alone!"

"Hey wait for us!" Felicia called out, doing a quick prayer as thanks for the food and followed them. "Come on guys!"

"Coming!" Omochao said, flying after them.

Zane blinked several times before shrugging and followed them, leaving Ethan alone with Nala and Sarabi. The young boy looked at the two adults then back to the door, silently wondering if he should follow his friends or stay and help clean up. The doctor did teach him and the others that they must always clean up after themselves but then again, that scary man was going to hurt one of his big brothers.

Sarabi smiled at the worried boy and rubbed his head softly. "Go on ahead little one, we'll clean up the mess."

Ethan looked surprised but then gave her a big happy smile, showing some missing teeth, and nodded as he ran after them. Nala and Sarabi looked out at the door to watch the commotion that was going on. Kia and Felicia stood in front of Naruto protectively as Zane and the rest of the men were holding Kwan back to stop him from killing Naruto.

"It's a shame though." Nala said with a disappointed sigh. "I was hoping Naruto proposed to her."

Sarabi laughed. "Not to worry Nala! I'm sure a wedding will happen soon…" She gave a smirk. "I hope you took some pictures of them."

Nala looked outside for a moment, then turned to her mother-in-law before smirking as she reached behind her back and took out pictures of Naruto and Kia sleeping in the guest room bed before Felicia showed up. The two women shared a good hearted laugh while the whole village was watching in disbelief as Kwan tried to kill Naruto.

All over a simple misunderstanding.

Later on

After everything had finally calmed down, Kia explained to everyone what she and Naruto talked about last night. It was about bringing all of the villagers to Angel Island as the first people to live there. When that announcement was made, everyone, her family and friends included, were very surprised to hear that. Kwan immediately took them someplace quiet so that they could explain themselves about the offer.

Naruto told him that since Terios had discovered the island, he and Kia figured that he might've told his master about it at some point after meeting this so-called oracle. The two didn't want this Master, whoever he is, to come here and start looking for a fight. So they decided to have the people of Twilight Island to migrate to Angel Island, that way Kia's family and friends can be much closer to her and they'll be further safe from harm.

Kwan thought about this and he had mixed feelings on the idea. While the older man agreed with it as it would mean the remaining people would be even safer if they were on a flying island, a part of him didn't want to leave Twilight Island. This island was their home, their once hidden sanctuary. Their culture, technology, there was simply too much history on this island that dates back over a thousand years since its founding. They couldn't just leave all of this behind.

Sensing the internal struggle, Kia let her father know that there was no rush and that he can take some time to talk it over with everyone. Naruto agreed with her as he already expected this to happen, Kwan thanking the two in gratitude.

After that, Team Chaos prepared themselves to get ready to go back to Waves. Breakfast was already finished, they took their morning baths and were now at the beach. Kia's family and friends were there to see them go again like last time, only now they were waiting for Naruto. As everyone was talking amongst themselves, the guardian himself came running towards them.

"Hey guys!"

Everyone turned to see Naruto running towards them as he stopped in front of them. They got a good look at his new outfit and they were impressed with what they saw, especially the girls.

His shoulder length hair was cut from the back, now becoming neck length, and he had two bangs that framed his face and went past his chin. He now wore a sleeveless shirt that's blue in the center and light blue on the sides, light blue pants with white lines circling around the knees and a white belt. His new sneakers were white and blue and he proudly wore his new pendant on a blue necklace. He wore gold earrings

"Wow! Naruto, you look cool!" Ethan commented softly, earning a chuckle from his adopted big brother.

"Thanks bud!" Naruto said, looking at the others and seeing that they were wearing the new clothes that they got from the City Zone. "But look at you guys though. You look pretty cool yourselves!"

Zane now wore black pants, a red jacket that has the sleeves rolled up and a white shirt underneath it. For footwear he wore red sneakers.

Kia wore a white off the shoulder top that exposed her midriff and tribal green pants with beige, green, and red triangular patterns. She wore blue bracelets on her wrists and a pear aquamarine pendant as a necklace.

Felicia now wore ripped jean pants that hugged her maturing waist nicely and a white shirt that has the picture of a cat on it.

Ethan wore light gray pants, a white long sleeve shirt with a green vest over it. He also wore a green bandanna around his neck.

"Aw, thanks Naruto." Kia smiled at the compliment he gave them. "So, is everybody ready?"

"Ah!" Felicia said as she realized something.

"What's wrong?" Zane asked.

"Since we're going back to the Ninja Nations, I mean is it really okay for me to come with you guys looking like…well, this?" Felicia asked, showing her paws, legs and ears

"What do you mean? Of course it's okay." Naruto said with a smile.

"R-Really?" Felicia asked with everyone nodding at her

"Don't worry. The people in the Land of Waves are good. If they see you with us then they'll know you're our friend and they'll love you just like everyone here." Kia replied. "But if you really don't want to, then that's okay too."

Felicia looked surprised at her but then turned to people of Twilight Island, seeing them either nod their heads at her or smiling, telling her that they accepted her just like her friends did. She immediately brightened up and nodded towards Kia.

"Okay!"

"Good!" Naruto said happily. "We're off to the Land of Waves! We'll see you all later!"

The island residents nodded their heads at him. "And like before, we'll be waiting for your safe return." Sarabi said, glancing at her son. "By the time you return, my goofy son will give you his answer about your proposal."

Kwan coughed into his hand with Nala and everyone else giggling at him.

Naruto nodded at her and took out a Ring Portal. He glanced to the side to check on his little friends, only to see all three species happily interacting with the people of Twilight Island and having fun. He smiled at seeing this as this what he envisioned for Angel Island to be like.

He tossed it right behind him as it grew large and opened up a portal that leads into the lake where Naruto first met Haku. Naruto, Zane, Ethan and Omochao walked through the portal.

"Is that the coolest thing you've ever seen?" Felicia asked as she walked through it.

"Definitely." Kia said. Turning around to her loved ones she giggled at the dumbfounded expressions, waving at them one last time before walking through the portal just as it disappeared

Everyone still watched with dumbfounded expressions on their faces though Sarabi was the one who got out of it.

"Welp, I don't know about you all but I'm packing." Sarabi said as she walked away to pack her belongings.

Everyone simply stared at her with sweat drops running down their heads.

Land of Waves: Great Naruto Bridge

Today was an exciting day in the Land of Waves. It was the day where Tazuna's famous bridge, the Great Naruto Bridge, was finally completed.

Right now, many people were standing in front of the bridge's entrance as Tazuna was in front of it, holding a giant pair of scissors and was close to a red ribbon. As Tazuna was giving his speech on this joyous occasion, the Naruto Retrieval Team were hiding in the shadows of the trees far away from the people. They weren't exactly paying attention to Tazuna's speech as they were more focused on the people and keeping an eye out.

"This is crazy." Tsunade said, looking annoyed. "What exactly makes Tazuna think that Naruto and his friends will be coming today?"

"They will come." Hiruzen told her. "Naruto is not someone who breaks his promise. We just have to be patient."

"But does he even know the bridge is done?" Tsunade asked.

"Don't forget Tsunade." Jiraiya said, leaning on a tree. "Naruto said that he and his friends will come back as soon as they finish off the Chaos Warriors. Judging by the rumors that's already spreading around, it looks like they've accomplished it."

Kushina remained silent throughout the exchange, her eyes more focused on her surrounding area. She could feel and hear her heart beating anxiously as she looked for any signs of her son. She of course heard the rumors Jiraiya talked about and needless to say, she had mixed reactions to it just like any other time she heard about her son's accomplishment. Not only did he fight against these Chaos Warriors monsters and regained whatever of his powers he has, he fought against the Hidden Sand's jinchuriki while he was in his Tailed Beast Mode.

The fact that he stood his ground against such a terrifying monster by himself and actually won against him filled her with so much pride and joy. But just like before, there was also self-disappointment, sadness and deep regret as he accomplished this by his own strength and power without getting properly trained by her or her husband.

Speaking of her husband, she looked down at her wedding ring and softly rubbed it. In the letter Minato sent, he told her that the moment Naruto sees them, he will attack them without hesitation. When that happens and if Naruto still won't listen, she will call him using their wedding rings so he will come to help them deal with him. But that's why Hiruzen came along on this mission, to help calm Naruto down just in case he does attack them.

Now, all they got to do is wait for him-

"LOOK! OUR HEROES HAVE RETURNED!"

Kushina jumped as she heard the loud happy shout, interrupting her from her thoughts. She, her team and the crowd looked to where they heard the shout. The former jinchuriki's eyes widen and glisten slightly. There before her, standing a few feet away from the crowd was her long lost son Naruto, who was happily waving his arms at the crowd of people, and his friends.

"Hey everyone! We're back!" The crowd gave loud cheers in response.

Kushina covered her mouth with both hands as she stared at the face of her son. Finally! Finally! The day has come. Six years since he ran away from home because of what they did to him. Six years since she's been wanting to hold him in her arms again, to apologize to him for all they've done to him and give him the attention he never got as a child. Six years she's waited to see his smiling face. Now...now...he's here right in front of her.

"Naruto…" She whispered to herself as she felt a rush of emotions flood her heart even as she watched the crowd surround her son and his friends.

"He's...here." Tsunade said, looking quite shocked to see him appear and to see him go through another change of appearance.

"Don't you just hate being wrong?" Jiraiya sent an amused smirk her way, making her glare at him. He turned back to Naruto and his friends, seeing that they were now up front with Tazuna as he introduced them once again to everyone in the crowd who didn't know them.

Hiruzen wore a proud smile on his face as the village greeted Naruto and his friends with open arms. He also took note of Naruto's current appearance. When Takashi took on Naruto's appearance, he looked like a boy that grew up in the wild...but now, he looked like someone who had gotten stronger. Like he was complete.

Now that the kids were on stage, the retired Kage took his time to observe Naruto's friends. He first took notice of the girl with peach-orange wavy hair, who was standing quite close to Naruto. Takashi was right on the money when he told everyone about her. She truly looked like someone who came from a foreign land. Plus her outfit was something he had never seen before.

Looking at this young girl told him that she was exactly like Naruto. Someone who was born with a very special power and uses it to protect those important to her. She might even be someone very important to Naruto, seeing how close she was to him.

Next was the boy in red, the one with the metal arms. Just looking at this boy told him that boy must've suffered a terrible ordeal to make him lose both of his arms and gain those metallic replacements. It's unheard of for shinobi to lose a limb or two during a mission. Those who lose an arm would continue on with their missions. But when it came to losing either both limbs or just all of them then they would either be forced to retire or just take their own life. Yet this young man, someone had actually given him new arms in place of his lost one which is certainly unheard of in this day and age.

Hiruzen then turned his attention to the floating toy and was quite surprised to actually see it was in fact alive as it was happily flying around Naruto's head before it sat down on his shoulders. He turned away from the toy and noted the two new members. A small boy that was around the same age as Mika and his grandson Konohamaru. However, unlike those two, this child's shy demeanor told the old shinobi that he had suffered early on in his life. Something just told him that it was Naruto and his friends who saved him from whatever situation they found him in.

And then there's that final girl on the ground and Hiruzen had to do a double take as he looked stunned to see her. What in the world was that other girl? Never in his life has he ever seen someone like her before! He saw that her limbs were covered in fur and ended with not human fingers but instead of clawed fingers and feet. Taking a closer look at her, he noticed the moving ears and tail, in fact her whole appearance told him that she was some sort of...cat girl. A part of him thinks it's just a costume while another part thinks it isn't.

The retired Kage laughed in amusement. Naruto sure has made a lot of interesting friends while he was away.

"Miss Kushina! What are you doing?!" Shizune's shocked whisper made Hiruzen turn his head to see a somewhat dazed Kushina about to come out of hiding but was held back by her

"Naruto." Kushina's whispered voice said as she tried to take several more steps, only for Tsunade and Jiraiya to join which she didn't pay no mind to. She was more focused on Naruto. "My little boy...he's there. He's right there in front of me. I have to go to him. I have-"

"Kushina." Hiruzen's stern tone immediately stopped her as she turned to him. "If you go out there right now, there's no telling what Naruto might do, especially in a large crowd like this. I know that you want to see and talk to him, but you can't yet. We have to be patient and wait for when Naruto's alone."

Kushina looked ready to argue but held her tongue, knowing that he was right. She gave a longing look at Naruto before stepping back, making everyone let go of her and she turned her attention back to Naruto.

After Tazuna cut the ribbon and everyone came up to the heroes once again to talk to them, Team Chaos decided to head to Tazuna's house, where they met up with Inari and Tsunami who were quite happy to see them again, especially Inari as he went to hug Naruto, Kia and Zane. After quick intros for the two newest members, everyone sat down in the living room to discuss what Team Chaos had planned, not knowing about the guests that were outside listening in.

"What's that?" Tazuna asked, making sure he heard what Naruto said. "You mind saying that again kid?"

"I said I decided to turn my island home into a country." The guardian repeated what he said. "And we need to find people who're in need of homes."

"We were hoping you knew of any places where we can find such people." Zane said.

Tazuna scratched his beard and closed his eyes, humming in thought for only a minute. He opened his eyes and looked apologetic. "No, sorry kids. Nothing comes to mind. To be honest, ever since Gato came to town, all I've been thinking and worried about is Wave and the bridge."

"Somehow I knew he would say that." Kia sighed as she and the others looked a little dejected.

"What about any Darkstalkers? Have you seen them?" Felicia asked.

Tazuna and his family looked at her in confusion. "Darkstalkers? What are those?" Inari asked.

Team Chaos looked to Felicia, who immediately nodded her head, telling them it was okay to tell them. So they told the family about the darkstalkers with Felicia proving to them that her appearance wasn't a costume but is in fact real as she switched between her cat and human forms which understandably shocked the family in awe. They didn't say much as they only told them the basics of what they are and where they came from.

Just outside the house, the Naruto Retrieval Team were listening in to the conversation, their presence clearly hidden and needless to say they too were shocked as well to learn of these de...these darkstalkers and that one of them is inside the bridge builder's home.

"I can't believe it." Tazuna grumbled as he rubbed his temples. "First, a fire demon and now you're telling me there are monster people like your cat friend out there?"

"Basically." Naruto replied.

"Kid, has anyone ever told you that you attract a lot of strange people?" Tazuna asked, giving him a raised eyebrow.

Naruto just smiled and shrugged his shoulders. "You wouldn't be the first." He then reached out to rub Felicia's ears, earning a delighted purr from her. "So far, Felicia is the only darkstalker we met. So if she's here then that means the others are here as well. That's why we're being on the lookout for them so that way we can bring them back home to the islands...well, the good ones at least." He finished his sentence sending a knowing stare towards Felicia, who continued on with her purring.

Kia nodded. "We were wondering if you guys might've heard or seen anything…strange going on in the middle of the night."

"Strange how?" Tsunami asked curiously.

"You know, like hearing strange noises at night when you're in bed?" Omochao asked.

"Nope. Sorry kids but none of that happened around here." Tazuna said, making Team Chaos look disappointed again. He looked a bit creeped out though. "And uh...you say these darkstalkers only come out at night?"

"Yes." Felicia said, looking down at the table. "Darkstalkers always live in the darkness and only come out when the humans are asleep. It doesn't help that a lot of humans hate us, because to them we are simply monsters or demons that don't belong in their world."

"My goodness." Tsunami said, feeling sorry for the young catgirl.

"That sounds awful." Inari commented, feeling the same way as his mother.

"I...see." Tazuna said, giving out a tired sigh. "Great, now I'm gonna get nightmares knowing there are monster people hanging around at night."

"U-Um…" Ethan shyly raised his hand in the air, getting everyone's attention. "Since Mr. Tazuna doesn't know, why don't we ask around the village to see if they heard anything?"

"I agree." Zane said. "It's like Felicia said, to humans darkstalkers are basically monsters, so it would make sense that there might be rumors going on about a walking corpse, a wolf man, and a man wrapped in old dirty toilet paper."

Everyone stared at Zane for a moment before they all let out laughs.

"Alright. Let's go ask around." Naruto said, standing up and making his way out the door. He stepped outside, he felt a gust of wind hit the right side of his face along with a leaf hitting his cheek. He peeled it off to examine it but then noticed five different scents in the air. "What the?"

One of the scents smelled like an old monkey that's been smoking, the second was a frog or something, the third smelled like medical herbs, the fourth smelled like a pig and the last felt familiar to him for some reason.

"Is something wrong, Naruto?" Kia asked curiously, wondering why he stopped walking. She and the others were standing behind him, watching silently as he sniffed the air.

"Um, nothing. Just smelled something funny." Naruto said. "Anyway, let's get going."

As he and the others split off and left, they were completely unaware that they were being watched from on top of a large building by the Retrieval Team.

"That was close." Jiraiya sighed in relief that they weren't caught.

"So what now?" Shizune asked.

"Now they're separated, we can go and confront Naruto." Hiruzen answered.

Hearing this made Kushina's heart beat faster, her anxiety of meeting her son starting to act up. She had to take deep calming breaths to try and calm herself down.

Tsunade nodded her head and turned to Tonton. "You're up Tonton."

"Oink!" Tonton nodded her head, jumping out of Shizune's arms and heading to where Naruto was going.

Naruto was walking through the village, looking quite happy at how much it had changed since Gato's death. The streets were clean, the stores that were boarded up are now open for business and there was no form of poverty whatsoever. It looked like the country was going back to what it used to be. Anybody who's seen him all happily greeted him with smiles on their faces which Naruto gratefully returned.

It was only a couple of minutes when he started to ask people if they heard anything about strange or bizarre monsters roaming around at night. Sadly, like Tazuna, nobody hasn't heard of anything. Not even a speck of a rumor!

But he's not going to give up. There has to be someone around here that's heard of something related to monsters.

"But then again, this is a small country." Naruto thought to himself. "I highly doubt a darkstalker would hang around here." He was about to take another step forward but felt something grab his pant leg, stopping him. "Huh?" He looked down only to do a double take as he saw a pig was grabbing his pants with its teeth.

Naruto blinked confusedly at the pig and looked around for its owner only to see nobody wasn't even paying attention to it. He looked back down at the pig and noticed something strange about it. It was wearing a red jacket that fit its big rounded size.

"Oink." The pig released him and looked up at him. "Oink!"

"Hey little fella." Naruto went to the pig's eye level to look at it. "Do you need something from me?"

"Oink!" The pig nodded. It turned around to run ahead before looking back at Naruto. "Oink! Oink!"

Naruto raises a single curious brow but then shrugs his shoulders and runs after the pig. He followed after it, leaving the village and entering a nice open clearing through a forest. The pig immediately stopped and looked back at Naruto, who was looking at their surroundings before turning back to the adorable pink thing.

"Why'd you lead me all the way out here?" Naruto asked, curious as to why the pig wanted him to follow it.

"Oink. Oink, oink."

Naruto furrowed his brows in confusion but then noticed something familiar about the pig. "...wait a minute." He walked up to the pig, making it almost sweat nervously from the expression on his face. He got close to the pig's face, eyes narrowed in suspicion as he rubbed his chin. "Don't I know you? You look familiar."

"O-Oink!" The pig went stiff in fear as it started to sweat bullets, seeing Naruto's expression go from suspicious to realization.

"Yeah...yeah, I think I do know you. Aren't you-"

"Naruto."

Naruto stopped reminiscing and froze in place the moment he heard the voice that called out his name. It was the voice of a woman he had not heard from in a long time. That soft sweet gentle voice from a past he put behind him and one he never heard from ever again. It was also the voice that he never wanted to hear from the day he ran away.

The guardian, still in his kneeling position, slowly turned around to face the owner of that voice, silently hoping the owner of that voice wasn't who he thought it was. Unfortunately for him, it was exactly who he thought it was. There, standing a few feet away from him was Kushina Namikaze, a gentle smile on her face and tears in the corner of her eyes as the wind blew her hair to the side.

"It's been so long...my beautiful baby boy."

No words.

No words came out of him. Not even a gasp. He remained as silent as a rock, staring at her.

Without even turning away from her, Naruto stood up, eyes widened to the point his pupils shrunk and his mouth opened in slight disbelief. He didn't pay any attention to the others that appeared behind her after she spoke nor to the pig that ran straight towards its caretaker. No, he was more focused on the red headed woman.

"...you." Naruto finally found his voice as he spoke in a low tone. He started to see brief flashbacks of his memories of her.

The early happy memories he had with her were replaced and completely overrun with the sad painful memories of what she, her family and village did to him as a child. The more he continued to stare at her, the more he kept seeing these painful memories and the words that were said to him.

"Hey look! It's that chakra-less freak!"

"It's so sad, he can't be like the rest of his family."

"What a nuisance!"

"You will never be a ninja!"

"You need to have chakra to be a ninja. So just drop it."

"Sorry Naruto, we're busy with your sisters."

"He's just not that important as the girls are."

"That is enough! I'm sick and tired of this attitude of yours! Why can't you be more like your sisters? Just go to your room and don't even think about coming out until you get your act together!"

"You…"

His fingers twitched, the bones in them cracking. Veins pulsed on his forehead and his cheeks, showing his already rising anger. His ocean blue eyes turned into a reptilian emerald green complete with a slit pupil. His stunned expression slowly morphed into a scowl as he bared his fangs in a snarl.

"YOU!"

A second later, a loud explosion erupted on the island.

Author's Note: Ladies and Gents, welcome to the new arc; Return to Konoha, Chunin Exam and War. Naruto has finally met his mother once again and he is not happy at all. How will it turn out? What will they discuss? Find out in the next chapter.

I know you guys are going to ask me a lot of questions, like who was that mysterious man at the beginning and why did I have him erase Naruto's memory of meeting with him while letting him keep certain info from it? For now, I'll just say this, the man is someone who belongs in the 'real' world.

As for why I had him erase Naruto's memory of him, it's because like he said, Naruto isn't going to see him anytime soon. He only had two purposes, show the final fight off to the Drifters and have his little meet and greet with Naruto. I originally planned on Naruto to remember the whole meeting so he can tell others about it, but in all honesty, I didn't really like the idea so I just chose to have his memories erased of both the man and Drifters.

Now onto the subject of Angel Island; Three new Zones, updated old Zones and two brand new islands added to it, Angel Island has now become a truly wonderful continent to live on. Like I said in the previous chapter, Naruto's good heart and desire to bring people on the island had caused this miraculous change to not only the island but to the Mystic Ruins as well. Just think of it like the Land of the Sky from the Sonic OVA.

That's all I wanted to say.
