"Naruto… Naruto… Wake up, we're already here" Shizuka said softly to his ear, he then slowly opened his eyes and saw Shizuka's face up close. His cheeks reddened almost immediately, and not only that, he realized that he was sleeping on her lap.
Out of embarrassment, he quickly got up and apologized to Shizuka. He told her that he didn't mean to do that and make her feel uncomfortable, but Shizuka disagreed.
"Why are you apologizing, Naruto? You did nothing wrong"
"Well… I-I did kinda used your uh… Lap as a pillow not too long ago…" he said sheepishly
"And what's the matter with that?" she argued
"I don't know… I just think that I shouldn't be doing that without your permission or something" Naruto replied
"You have nothing to worry about Naruto, as a matter of fact, I enjoyed it actually" she returned
"You did?"
"Indeed, it felt nice to run my fingers through your golden locks. And I didn't know you purred when someone scratches your whiskers" she giggled, hearing this made Naruto even more embarrassed to the point that he just wanted to fade away.
He was then surprised when Shizuka grabbed his hand and dragged him out of the carriage they were in a while ago, and once they were outside, Naruto saw the three huge mountains with buildings on top.
"What now?" he asked since this was his first time being here, sure he has heard stories about this place from his sensei but seeing it in person is a different subject
"What do you mean 'what now'?" she asked
"How are we going to get up there?" Naruto wondered
"We get there by doing it the ninja way" Shizuka replied
"You mean to say we'll climb that mountain?" Naruto was still confused
"Correct, why? Are you scared? Is this the Naruto that defeated me in the past or is this an impostor?" she teased
"EH?! Me, scared? Hell no, I'll show you" he replied enthusiastically
"That's what I thought but how about we make things interesting"
"And by interesting, you mean?"
"I propose a wager, whoever loses has to do what the winner wants them to do"
"Any limitations the loser has to do?" he clarified
"The loser has to do anything"
"Anything?"
"You heard me, anything. I hope you're not thinking any lewd thoughts Naruto" she teased once more which flustered Naruto, she saw this which made her laugh.
"I'm just joking Naruto, but if you really want to then I gue-"
"OKAY CAN WE START?" he interrupted since this was more than he could take, Naruto's face was as red as a tomato
"Sure, the first one to get to the top, wins. Are you ready?" she asked
"Give me a sec" he said as he stretched his body to prepare and while he was doing that, Shizuka told her escorts that they could go now since she and Naruto would have a race.
"Okay I'm ready" he said after finishing
"On our marks"
"Ready… Get set… GO!" she yelled and the both of them were off to the races
- After The Race -
"No fair… You keep using shortcuts" Naruto protested
"I didn't say shortcuts are not allowed, if anything, you should have suggested banning them" she argued, Naruto tried to think of a counterargument but couldn't
"Fine… You win which means I have to do what you want"
"Good, the first thing I want you to do is to hold my hand" she said with a smile
"EHHH?!"
"You have to, you agreed didn't you?"
"B-B-But there are people looking at us…" Naruto said in a shy manner
"Don't be shy Naruto, you're just holding my hand" Shizuka said to him, eventually he relented and just went with the flow. Naruto held her hand as they walked through town, the villagers of Nadeshiko Village looked at them as they passed by since Shizuka was the current leader of their village. People greeted her to which she returned the gesture, Naruto could see lots of people murmuring and whispering to one another and he knew they were talking about them. But this time it felt different from the way the villagers from Konoha gossiped about him when he was younger.
"Is something wrong?" Shizuka asked when she noticed that Naruto was deep in thought
"Huh? Oh, no hehe. Nothing's wrong dattebayo, it's just that I remembered something from the past which isn't important"
"I see… Well then, I should let you know that I am going to introduce you to my parents, I hope you're alright with that Naruto" she said
"P-P-P-Parents?..." Naruto said nervously
"Why of course, they've been meaning to meet you" she replied
"They know me?" he asked
"Indeed, I have been telling them about you ever since I met you" she answered which made him blush
"O-Okay then… Sure"
"Terrific, you'll do just fine so don't worry about it" she smiled
After a while of walking through the village, they finally arrived at the front of a large building. Once they were in front of the door, the door opened by itself, and then they were greeted by her attendant.
"Welcome back Shizuka-sama, I see you have brought back Uzumaki-san with you. Did you succeed in gaining his ha-" Shizuka quickly covered her mouth
"Shhh… He still doesn't know about that, I'm getting to it"
"Oh right, right… Welcome to Nadeshiko Village Uzumaki-san, we hope you enjoy your stay here" she said to him
"Thank you uh… Tokiwa, right?" he answered
"You are correct, I'm impressed that you remembered my name after so long"
"I'm just lucky at guessing hehe" he scratched the back of his head
"Are my parents here?" she asked
"Not yet but they will be here before dinner Shizuka-sama" Tokiwa replied
"I see… Well then, I'll be showing Naruto around the house"
"Very well"
"Follow me Naruto" she said as she grabbed his hand once more
Shizuka dragged him around the house and showed him all sorts of stuff like the dining room, their study/library, living room, guest rooms, and many more. And finally, they reached the dojo, Shizuka opened the lights which illuminated the entire area.
The dojo was fairly huge, probably larger than the one he saw at the Hyuga compound. The dojo inside Shizuka's house looked almost identical to the Hyuga Clan, except this time the Nadeshiko Village symbol was painted on most of the walls.
"Cool dojo you got here Shizuka"
"I'm glad you like it, shall we put it to good use?" she asked
"You mean to say you want to spar?"
"Indeed, are you down for one spar?"
"Sure but this time we need to lay down some rules"
"Okay, what would those rules be?"
"No large-scale jutsus of course but anything safe indoors is fair game, and genjutsus are off the table" Naruto said
"Very well, on the other hand, I propose to use only taijutsu, so no kunais, no shurikens, no senbons, etc. Lastly, the one to pin down their opponent wins"
"Deal, but does the winner get this time?"
"Oh ho… Looking for a reward huh?" she teased
"I-I-I-It's not like that!"
"I'm joking, the same reward as last time but this time, the winner gets to ask the loser to do three things for them, does that sound fair?" she asked and Naruto contemplated for a while
"DEAL!"
"Very well then… Ready… Get set… FIGHT!"
- An Hour Later -
Shizuka and Naruto were in a stand-off, both of them were panting. They have been at it for a while now and neither one of them have yet to pin down their opponent.
"Still as strong… as I remember…" she complimented him
"T-Thanks… I could say the… Same to you too…" he returned the compliment
They stared at one another, once Shizuke finished catching her breath, she quickly rushed toward him. She ran to him as fast as she could and performed a spinning kick, Naruto quickly blocked her leg using the length of his arms. He felt the impact and it was heavy, this made his arms a bit numb but he was still able to block her attack. Shizuka then landed on the ground and performed a double leg sweep which Naruto was able to dodge by jumping up and backing away.
Suddenly Shizuka felt a presence coming from behind, she moved aside and dodged a clone that was about to tackle her from behind. Shizuka looked at him and saw that he had a foxy grin on his face.
"You sly fox"
"Hehe… What can I say? I just really love this jutsu, Taju Kage Bunshin no Jutsu! (Multiple Shadow Clone Technique), it's not yet too late to concede Shizuka" he teased
"In your dreams Naruto, bring it" she taunted
Naruto then nodded at his clones and all of them ran at her at high speeds, she was able to dodge and avoid each and every attack whilst dispelling a clone whenever she can. Slowly but surely, she whittled down the number of his clones.
Shizuka dispelled the final clone but she was surprised to see that Naruto was nowhere to be found, she then felt someone coming from behind and she knew it was Naruto. Shizuka decided to let Naruto grab her so that she could counter it with her own move.
Naruto put his arm around her neck and held her head, Shizuka quickly countered it by placing one of her legs behind his feet and pushing him backward which caused him to fall on the floor. She quickly capitalized on this and pinned him down.
"I win again Naruto"
"How do you know I'm not a clone?" her eyes widened when she heard this, suddenly Naruto dropped down from the ceiling and landed on top of her, he then pinned her down to the floor.
"Gotcha!" he said, he then realized that his face was so close to hers. Naruto backed his face away from her as fast as he could out of embarrassment.
"Uhmmm… Naruto, your arm is on my chest" Shizuka replied
Naruto looked at his arm and saw that it was resting on top of her soft chest, Naruto's cheeks quickly heated up which caused him to loosen his hold on her. Shizuka smirked and turned the tables by pinning him down and trapping his head between her thighs which prevented him from breathing.
Naruto struggled to breathe as a result, he tried his best to break free from her thighs, he knew he could but he doesn't want to touch her thighs out of fear that she would think that he was a pervert. Naruto tapped the floor multiple times to signal that he concedes, "I give up…" he said
Shizuka released his head from her thighs which allowed him to breathe once more, "Looks like I win again"
"I… Guess so…" Naruto tried his best to catch his breath
Both of them were sweaty and exhausted after their spar, Shizuka then told him that she'll show him his room and a place where he can freshen up.
Five Minutes Later
"This is it" Shizuka said as she opened the door, both of them entered the room and Naruto saw that the room looked like it was a girl's room which confused him.
"Uh… Are you sure, I feel like this is your room" he said
"It is my room"
"Oh, I see, well then… Where's my room?"
"This is YOUR room, or in this case, OUR room"
"EHHH?!..."
"Is there something wrong?..."
"Well… Not necessarily but uh…"
"I'll be using one out of the three tasks I can give to you, I order you to share a room with me"
"*sigh* Fine…"
"Good, I'll be using the bathroom to freshen up now and once I'm done, it's your turn" Shizuka said to him and he nodded as he waited for her to finish.
