Keihatsu: I'm quite worried about the future of the other librarians. The new Emperor Iruka was quite benevolent but the rebel from Sengi's loyalist showed me a sad future where the librarians became sidelined and no longer relevant.

Vạn Thư: Indeed. But at the same time we won't ever be dragged into their problem again.

Keihatsu: How do you think about the Fountain of Miracle?

Vạn Thư: Why did you say so?

She asked with a curious look, Keihatsu then continued her words

Keihatsu: Just like the fate of the Fountain of Miracle, it was meant to be a Fountain that store the origin of all scrolls but it had been locked away forever for being too corruptive. I realized I could never find it without a map and a teleportation spell because it was too dangerous to be used.

Yet at one point of my life it was extremely alluring to think about it. All of the weakness of a normal librarian could disappear within a moment and I would come out stronger than I was. Turned out it was a trap. There was no such easy outcome like that.

Vạn Thư: I almost did that on Gensokyo but somehow I learned from your lesson and burned my document to prevent other from knowing about it.

Vạn Thư and Keihatsu were walking across the street of the Human Village. It had been a few days ever since Keihatsu began to learn about Gensokyo.

Keihatsu: But what will we do if we don't join any battle?

Vạn Thư: Retire then.

Both of them arrived at Hieda Temple School, the entire goal of Vạn Thư was to make Keihatsu accustomed to Gensokyo by letting her live in the Human Village as a normal villager. But as time grew by she realized she had no intention to retire after a while living in here.

Meanwhile in Kotou

The construction of Kotou already finished but they still lack one important thing: human. The point of it was to prolong the existence of any magical beings inside Kotou by using human faith to feed other. It was the exact thing that happened in Gensokyo where the Yokai relied on human faith to survive.

And lucky for them there was an interesting event that caused some of them to accept Alternative Yukari's invite to enter Kotou. The new law from Emperor Iruka caused some of the librarians and their families to be unhappy about the fate of the librarians as he declared they can retire at this point.

The purpose of it was to prevent another disaster caused by Sengi as those scrolls were corruptive toward anyone who wasn't the librarian. This ensured he and his descendant won't have to deal against that problem again.

But for the librarian his decision was a final nail in the coffin for the long tradition of various librarians who were once the loyal servants of the Emperor.

This was why various librarians along with their families entered Kotou as both Yukari arrived at various locations in Hakoniwa to recruit people to fill in the empty Human Village. Because Alternative Yukari demanded to manage the Human Village as she understand Hakoniwan residence than Yukari she had no choice but to leave that job to her. This was why the Human Village in Kotou won't be ruled by fear but by faith because of the different situation in here.

(It was also because Alternative Yukari doesn't like to let her parallel version to completely control everything in here)

As the librarians carried their scrolls into Kotou many of it had been kept at the Great Library of Kotou which was a successor to the Great Library of Hakoniwa but in the Kappa design. Thousands of scrolls had been transported here thanks to the boundary portals from Yukari and the Great Library itself had a massive storage that could hold myriad scrolls with ease.

As the Gods looked in annoyance that there wasn't any way to stop Yukari from doing this, they could only stay at their place and meditate to forget the embarrassing defeat they suffered earlier.

Yuyuko: Let's build a new Cherry Blossom Tree in our new Hakugyokurou!

Yuyuko made an innocent smile yet Yukari had a fear from her word 'Cherry Blossom Tree'.

Yukari: (Don't tell me you wanted to bring back the Saigyou Ayakashi again!)

Yukari was in a slight fear just because of those words alone. Still, it was just a harmless cherry blossom tree because after all this new garden in Kotou was just a mimic of the original Hakugyokurou.

Youmu: Dinner is served!

Everyone began to eat as they celebrated the construction of the Great Library. All of the other humans and librarians who entered here also had a big party at the new Human Village. Eventually the Gods had to swallow their pride and join the fun with other. They knew they couldn't stop Yukari from her own plan but at least Yukari was level-headed enough to make peace with them to prevent any tension from happening.

More importantly, Vạn Thư and Keihatsu along with other from Gensokyo also got invited in this big party thanks to Yukari's portal. This was the moment Keihatsu realized where she actually belonged to. Vạn Thư almost followed her into here but then she remembered everything that happened to her and she decided to walk away instead.

Keihatsu: You don't want to stay here? This place got everything we need! We even got a new Library in here and there won't be any war to ruin our life!

Vạn Thư: I can't. I realized I grew accustomed to Gensokyo now. There was so much things that happened to me that made me unable to return to Hakoniwa anymore.

Vạn Thư looked at Keihatsu with a sad smile but at the same time she already knew Keihatsu didn't enjoy her time in Gensokyo that much because she was being unfamiliar with it.

Vạn Thư: I guess this is a farewell then. Maybe I would visit you once in a while after this.

Keihatsu: At least it was fun to befriend with you. May you find your peace in Gensokyo.

Both of them shake their hand under the starry night sky as the big party ended.
