010: Spike Spiegel and Kakashi Hatake.

Spike Spiegel hates dogs, children and women with attitude. When he arrives in Neo Tokyo through GATE-2026 in search of Vash the Stampede, The $$60,000,000,000 man, he gets Intel from Hikigaya that he has escaped to Konoha, the Village Hidden in the Leaves. If Neo Tokyo in 2026 feels archaic, Konoha would look practically prehistoric. And they don't allow spaceships in that particular corner of the multi-verse. Wonderful. When Yuigahama provides him with the necessary documents and a decent supply of Lang-pills he takes the GATE to Konoha. There he is told that Vash the Stampede has fled to Sunagakure.

"What the hell does that mean?" Spike Spiegel asks.

"The village hidden in the sand." Kakashi Hatake replies.

"And how do I get there?" Spike asks with a hint of annoyance.

Kakashi Hatake rubs his chin. The lower half of his face is covered with a mask but Spike can feel the smile which is hidden from view. "Well, normally we run."

"You are joking."

"If you want, Guy can give you a lift."

"In a car?" Spike asks uncertainly.

"On his back. You know. Like a piggyback ride." Kakashi explains. "I'm sure he will think of it as a new workout routine. Do you want me to get him? You know what, I will get him." And then he pulls one of those fancy ninja moves and vanishes.

After the end of this humiliating experience which he considers as nothing but a bad dream, Spike Spiegel decides that he hates dogs, children, women with attitude and ninjas.

"So," Iroha Isshiki asks back at the TOWER, Hikigaya's HQ. "Did Might Guy give you a piggy back ride?"

Spike Spiegel ate his bell peppers and beef. "No comment."

A/N: I promised it would either be L or Kakashi and this time I went with Kakashi.

Also, don't worry, L will appear soon. And it will be funny as hell. Now, everyone has been suggesting a lot of ideas and I think I will write each and every one of them, because they are all great. But I will leave it up to you to decide which to write first. Here are the options for future chapters:

Option 1: Yor ends up befriending Erza Scarlet and asks her to babysit Anya.

Option 2: Makishima getting foiled by Anya.

Option 3: Kakashi and Hiratsuka go on a date. While their students spy on them to make sure the date goes without a hitch.
