Episode 10: Siren's Song

Hey there guys, gals and non-binary pals. Tardispilot297 here bringing you another new episode of Mega-Man: Robotic Hero! Well we're officially at 4 episodes remaining within this season. I know that probably sounds sad for some of you but don't worry just because this particular season ends doesn't mean the series will end anytime soon.

And now the winners of this month's "Who's that Mega-Man Villain?" Contest. And the winners are….. Theoldblood98 and HEROS central!

Please note that all related Mega-Man media as well as the music in this chapter each belong to their respective owners. I do not own anything.

And now without further ado let's get started.

Music has a way of affecting people in different ways. It can either inspire or make people go nuts. And for me it almost ended up putting the entire world under the influence of an evil siren. Not to mention put me through one of the worst pains in my life.

It all started at Paradise Pier where me, Alia and the guys were in the middle of conducting a test of my armor. The test being how well it works underwater. For the most part everything was ok as long as I paid attention to how long I was holding my breath. Normally being able to walk along under water would be cool. That is if it wasn't for the large octopus trying to wrestle with me. Looking back I'm sure it didn't mean any harm but at the time it was really starting to get on my nerves.

I wanted to tell it to let go but that would've involved having to open my mouth which given my current depth was definitely out of the question. Up top on the pier looking down, Douglas contacted me through my internal comms. "How's it going down there friend?" He asked. Fun fact about being a robot: you don't always need your mouth to communicate. And lucky for me I was capable of transmitting some of my thoughts over certain audio waves. In this case my internal comms. "Well it'd be better if this thing would just let go!" I managed to answer while still struggling with the octopus. "Will someone please remind me why this was a good idea?" I asked.

Alia stood next to Douglas holding her hand up to her ear which had a small earphone inside it. "Hey, you were the one who wanted to test your abilities under different conditions. Yep I'd say it was YOUR good idea that brought you here." She told me. "Hey at least you don't have to wear these stupid earphones." Axel commented as he fiddled with his own pair. He took out his phone and started pressing his fingers on the screen until it showed a music playlist.

Axel pressed play and music started playing through the earphones. The music also played in Alia and Douglas' pairs causing them to wince a little and press their hands to their ears. "On the plus side they make for great wireless earphones because in terms of fashion these things just don't cut it." He added. Douglas looked over at Axel slightly annoyed. "They're not supposed to look good, Axel. They're designed to filter out background audio waves so we can more efficiently communicate." He explained. "Yeah like when I say things like WILL SOMEONE HELP GET THIS THING OFF OF ME!?" I shouted unconsciously opening my mouth to form the last few words.

This proved to be both a good thing and a bad thing. The good thing was the unexpected surge of bubbles managed to scare the octopus off with it swimming away. The bad thing was that I was still underwater and immediately tried to cover my mouth to conserve what little breath I had left. As I was scrambling to get back to shore Alia was looking at her reflection from the water admiring the earphones Douglas had made himself. "Well I don't think they're stupid. I think they're actually pretty cool." She said, as Douglas looked at her with pride. "Why thank you Alia. In fact they might be my finest work yet." He told her.

Axel meanwhile was singing along to the singer of the music he was listening to. Albeit very badly much to the misfortune of Alia and Douglas. It took my head bursting out of the water loudly gasping for air to get everyone's attention as I walked up to the beach coughing up seawater. Alia and the guys ran up the pier to head down to the beach. Good thing it was still early in the morning so there weren't many people around to see me crawling out onto the shore and transforming back into my regular clothes.

I got up on my knees rubbing my hands together for warmth as the sea air was incredibly cold. They ran over to me with Douglas asking if I was OK. "Yeah, not so bad. Although can a robot catch a cold?" I asked, shivering a little. Alia sat down next to me. "Oh, here. My hands are warm." She said, bundling our hands together. We then looked at our hands before glancing up at each other locking eyes. As soon as we did we both immediately looked away with me trying to hide the blush on my face.

Little did I know Alia was doing the exact same thing. Douglas stood there smiling at the two of us and probably would've made a teasing comment if Axel hadn't started singing again. "You can't fight the currents of love!" He sang off key. With the moment ruined I pulled my hands away to break the bundle. "Uh, excuse me. I think I'm gonna need my hands for this." I told her as I covered my ears to try and drone out Axel's bad singing. Lately Axel had gotten into a new popular robotic pop singer that recently showed up named Sayu. So much so that later at school he had shown up wearing a black T-shirt with a picture of a blue heart with the word Sayu written inside of it.

As we were walking down the hall he was holding a music player playing one of Sayu's songs called Currents of Love. I listened to the music with a little confusion. "I don't get it. This Sayu comes out of nowhere and suddenly she's the biggest thing since digital downloads. It's so-" I said before Alia interrupted me. "Infuriating how mindless pre-packaged corporate garbage is preventing true musical artists from being heard?" She asked. "I was gonna say 'weird' but ok." I replied. Axel just looked at us and scoffed. "Sayu Isn't just about music. She's an expression of my unique personality." He explained to us.

We turned a corner to see the next hallway practically filled with kids wearing various pieces of Sayu-related apparel and admiring them, along with more posters on the walls and lockers. "Ohhh yeah, you're definitely one of a kind." Douglas commented. "Yeah every single one of you." Alia added. We walked through the hall until some girl bumped into Alia. "Hey, watch it!" She told Alia. "You watch it!" Alia talked back. The girl then looked at Alia's ears where she was still wearing the earphones. "Nice earrings, Where'd you get them? The 99 cent store?" She asked in a mocking tone. "For your information they're not earrings and they were a gift." Alia told her.

The girl then looked at her confused and started glancing over us until her eyes fell on me. Her eyes then widened as if realizing something. "Ohhh I get it, you got them from your boyfriend there." She said pointing at me. "Everyone always said you two losers would get together." She finished before walking away. Me and Alia both looked at her with shock. "We're not losers!" She shouted. "We're not together." I added. Axel then out of nowhere started singing again. "Stronger than hate, Anchored through the hurricane.

Go on, no need to wait. You can't fight the currents of love!" He sang, annoying both me and Alia.

We both turned to him and shouted at the same time telling him to keep it down. Our outburst caught the attention of Bulk and Skull standing next to some lockers nearby. "Dude look, the love birds are ganging up on Stern." Skull said, earning a laugh from Bulk. Alia and I then turned to them. "We're not lovebirds!" We both shouted at the sametime surprising each other. We turned away from each other while Douglas and Axel just stood there looking at each other. "What's with them?" Axel asked him. Douglas just looked at him and shrugged his shoulders in confusion.

A little while later we were in class with one of our teachers, Ms. Cho standing in front of her desk addressing all of us. "As you know, the Northwestern Nine Standardized testing starts in two days, and because my bonus is proportional to your grades, we have installed the CramTastic Mark Five." She announced holding her arm out to a machine set up next to her desk. Every student was wearing a helmet with four prongs with a keyboard and three computer screens on every desk each reading 'STANDING BY'. "The latest in state-of-the-art subliminal study-aid technology." She added. She then walked over to the machine reaching over to push a large green button. "Now, Let the learning begin!" She said, pushing the button.

The screens then changed only to start playing Sayu's song. Everyone in class except for me, Douglas and Alia started cheering. Me and Alia immediately took off our helmets but Douglas kept on listening to the song as if entranced. Ms. Cho then turned off the machine and took out the program disc only to discover it had been replaced with a music CD. She looked at it with surprised irritation until she noticed that the background music of the song was still playing. She looked confused for a moment before turning around to look at Axel. "Mr. Storm, would you kindly turn off that blasted music?" She asked him.

Axel looked up at her. "It's not me. It's coming from outside." He told her as he pointed his finger toward the window. Everyone started taking off their helmets and got up to take a look outside. Pulling up in front of the school was a large truck with a stage attached at the back. It had large amplifiers and speakers with a large banner with the name Sayu on it. As the music started to build a bright light flashed as a large cloud of light blue smoke started to cover the stage. As it dissipated a figure started to appear on the stage. The was revealed to be a robot in blue and white armor with her lower half consisting of a mermaid tail. She then started singing into a microphone she was holding in her hands to the music.

'Undercurrents pull at your heart

Feeling so powerful it leads you on

The waves of emotion wash over me.

But can you see the ocean through the reef?'

Just like that everyone in the classroom started cheering and rushed out of the room to join the crowd forming outside. The crowd of teens cheered as she continued singing.

'Undercurrents drag at your heart

Feeling so powerful it leads you on

A new tide comes in and I'm washed away

Forces stronger than hate are left in the wake'

Sayu then stopped singing to talk into the microphone. "Hell-o Silicon High! Who do you love?" She asked. The crowd cheered in response chanting Sayu's over and over. As they were chanting her chest started to glow a little. Sayu smiled as it shined brighter and brighter. "That's it babies, keep saying my name." She said, basking in the attention. "Are you ready for a little youth revolution?" She asked the crowd. Me and the others came out and stood on the stoop at the doors.

Me and Alia looked at the stage confused while Douglas stood in a trance looking at Sayu. "So beautiful." He said. We looked at him surprised and suddenly Axel ran out shoving his way through us and leaped into the air. He landed in the crowd who started to carry him near the stage. "We love you Sayu!" He shouted over the crowd. "That's because I fill a void in your empty lives." She told them. "You're right Sayu!" Douglas shouted, causing me and Alia to look at him concerned. Sayu then continued singing.

'Stronger than hate

Anchored through the tidal waves

Go on, take the bait

You can't fight the currents of love!'

The crowd cheered louder along with Douglas who ran off to join the crowd. Alia tried calling out to him but he seemed not to listen to her. "What's the matter with him?" She asked me. I was about to answer when suddenly my internal comms started giving off a feedback loop causing a loud noise inside my ears, causing me to wince a little. At first I wasn't sure what was causing it until I looked over at Sayu.

'Lifts you from the deep

Rescued when you're lost at sea

Only surge you'll ever need

You can't fight the currents of love!'

Her voice may have sounded pretty but the look on her face gave away her true nature. I then realized what was actually happening and it wasn't good. Nearby Ms. Cho got up onto a nearby fire hydrant holding up a megaphone to her mouth. "Attention robotic teen idol! I order you to cease and desist!" She shouted. Sayu just looked at her amused. "Desist this, grandma!" She told her before she began harmonizing a set of notes.

Suddenly everyone in the crowd's eyes started to glow a subtle shade of red. They all turned around and glared at her while scowling. She looked at everyone scared and unsure what was happening but I knew full well what was going on. The truth was Sayu was using her music to control the minds of all the teens. The crowd then charged at Ms. Cho who tried to run away only to trip and fall to the ground and try to shield herself with her arm. I quickly jumped behind the side of the stoop and transformed into my armor.

Once I finished I leaped over to her and picked her up in my arms and jumped out of the way of the stampeding teens. We landed on the ground safely away from danger and I carefully put Ms. Cho down. "Are you ok, miss?" I asked her. She lowered her arm and looked around until she spotted me standing next to her. "Ohhh yes I'm alright thank you." She told me just before I ran off back toward the stage. "Now to knock the pop princess of the….charts?" I stopped to see that both Sayu and the stage were suddenly gone without a trace. As I stood there confused, a number of teens started to place their hands on their heads as if they were coming out of a trance.

I ran off out of sight to safely transform back while Axel and Douglas stood dazed a little before shaking it off. "Hey! No encore? What's that all about?" Axel asked, irritated. Meanwhile the truck with the stage attached pulled into a warehouse. The door on the driver's side opened up to reveal the driver or rather 'drivers' were Met and Eddie with Met working the pedals and Eddie with an arm extension coming out of his head to work the steering wheel. The two hopped out of the truck and walked over to the stage where Sayu jumped down to the ground. "Well I think that went rather well." Eddie commented.

Sayu just scoffed and pushed past them. "Of course it did. Would've been better if we had stuck around a little longer." She complained. "I'm afraid that couldn't be helped Splash Woman. After all, we couldn't risk that little blue twerp getting his hands on that special core of yours." Wily told her, stepping out of the shadows. "Ok, first of all it's Sayu, not 'Splash Woman' got it?" She told him, holding up her finger at him. "And second, don't you worry about your special home made core gramps. Got it safe and sound right here." She added placing her hand over her chest.

Wily looked at her with a look of irritation on his face. "I told you to stop calling me that." He told her. Sayu just stood there rolling her eyes and replying whatever. "Anyway, report. What were the results of our little test?" He asked her. Sayu told him how things went at the school before I showed up. "Excellent! A resounding success! Thanks to the energy analysis from Elec-Man and the archive files on the early study data for the Omega Core Bomb Man stole from the city mainframe, the core is working to perfection." He shouted with excitement.

Met looked up at him with confusion. "I don't get it sir. If you wanted the data on the Omega Core so badly, why couldn't you just access the original files back at Light Industries?" He asked. "Light went to a great deal of trouble to hide the fact that the Core wasn't destroyed. If I started going through the old data files it would risk drawing suspicion to my recent activities." He explained. "Besides it may not be a perfect replica to the real thing, but I think this 'Beta' Core will do just fine for now." He commented, getting close to Sayu's chest. She gave him an annoyed look before slapping his hand away. "Hey! Hands off grampa! You're not my type." She told him. Wily shook his hand in slight pain. "Now watch it, missy. Don't forget who gave you that body and voice in the first place." He threatened.

Sayu just rolled her eyes again. "Yeah yeah whatever you say." She told him, turning away from him. "Anyway I'm going to go prepare for my next concert tomorrow night. Nobody better disturb me." She instructed strutting away. Wily groaned, gripping at the bridges of his nose. "Why did I ever build a teenager as one of my robot masters?" He asked himself. He turned to look at Met and Eddie. "On that note have all the preparations been made for tomorrow night?" He asked. "Yes doctor, we've secured a barge stage as well as cameras for the worldwide broadcast." Met reported. Wily smiled at the news. "Good. Just think this time tomorrow night I'll have both the world and the Omega Core in my hands." He said snickering.

The next day everyone at school continued to view Sayu as the greatest singer of all time. The only person that wasn't viewing her in a positive light was Ms. Cho, who was currently walking down the hall carrying a small pile of magazines with Sayu on each cover. "Sayu… Sayu… Sayu. I swear if I see even one hint of that woman in school today, I'll-" As she turned the next corner she came face to face with students wearing all kinds of Sayu merchandise. From shirts to sweaters to designer jackets and accessories. Even a few female students had their hair styled after Sayu. There were also way more posters covering the walls and the lockers.

Ms. Cho stood there shocked for a moment before crushing the magazines in her hands and grinding her teeth. Meanwhile, me and Alia were talking about what to do about Sayu when we met up with Douglas who was now wearing a shirt with Sayu's face on it. "Oh Douglas, not you too." Alia groaned. "What can I say? As an amateur roboticist I can't help but marvel over her design." Douglas told her. "You can't be serious?" She asked him. "If you think that's bad, wait til you see this." I told her pointing out Axel walking up to us.

Axel was now wearing along with his Sayu shirt, her eye liner design and a wig fashioned into Sayu's haircut. He stood there in front of us looking pleased with himself while me and Alia just looked slightly disturbed. "Ok Axel, you're starting to scare me. And I fight killer robots." I told him. Axel just shrugged. "It's a Sayu thing. You wouldn't understand it." He told me. Alia just looked at him and Douglas while crossing her arms across her chest. "Ok you both do realize that she's actually an evil mind-controlling robot?" She asked them. "Well yeah but you gotta admit, compared to the other evil robots in the past she's way better looking." Axel countered. "He's not wrong." I playfully commented only to receive a slight glare from Alia.

Suddenly a female started shouting nearby running through the hall. "Hey everyone! Sayu's giving away free concert tickets at Bucky's music store!" She shouted. Within seconds everyone in the hallway started running towards the nearest exit. However Ms. Cho stepped in front of the door holding her hand out. "Hold it right there! None of you are going anywhere except deten-" before Ms. Cho could finish she was seemingly almost trampled over by the group of teens pushing their way through the doors.

Not too far away Alia and I were busy holding Douglas and Axel back by their arms as they struggled to run after the crowd. "Must - have - Sayu - tix." Axel said, straining against my grip. "Must - admire - Sayu - build." Douglas said, also straining against Alia's grip. "I think it's safe to say we've lost them." I commented. "Looks like we're gonna have to reprogram them." She told me. A few minutes of pulling and restraining later we had managed to tie both Axel and Douglas to two chairs while they were both wearing two CramTastic helmets and each staring at three computer screens in front of them.

After putting in the correct program disc Alia turned on the machine as the computer screens started showing different charts, graphics and texts on many different subjects. "And now the healing starts." Alia proclaimed. A part of me felt bad for doing this to them but it was for their own good. Knowing it was going to be a while the two of us left the room and closed the door. As we walked away I started to think about some details that didn't add up. "I still don't get why we're not affected by Sayu's music." I thought out loud.

Alia thought about it for a moment. "Well yesterday you said your internal comms were giving you a headache right? So maybe it's because of you being a robot, and my-" "Individuality or intelligence?" I finished for her. Alia looked at me surprised for a moment. "Actually I was gonna say 'utter disdain for anything obviously tacky' but okay." She said looking away while pushing her behind her ear. "You really think I'm smart?" She asked me. I was about to answer when suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder along with a voice telling me 'Not so fast'.

I turned around to see standing behind me a very strict and slightly unkempt Ms. Cho looking at me and Alia. "You two lovebirds may be the only students left in the entire school-" She started saying before me and Alia said at the sametime that we weren't lovebirds. "But that's not going to stop me from giving both of you an education." Ms. Cho finished grabbing both our wrists and leading us away to a classroom. Once inside she instructed us to sit down in two of the desks. She turned her back to get ready for the lesson when Alia noticed one of the windows was wide open. She lightly nudged me with her elbow and gestured at it with her thumb. Making sure Ms. Cho wasn't looking, we got up from our desks and snuck over to the window and proceeded to jump out.

I held Alia in my arms so that we could land safely on the ground. "Now then let us begin by-" Ms. Cho said before turning around and noticing that we weren't there. "Wha? Now they're vanishing into thin air? How is this happening?" She shouted, gripping at her head. Meanwhile after I transformed and called Rush to meet us near school, me and Alia were both riding on Rush flying through the air. I held onto her by her waist as she looked down to see us flying over the city with amazement.

She then looked back up at me while I was looking ahead and started looking at me with a slightly dreamy look on her face. I caught her looking at me from the corner of my eye and turned my head to look at her. "Alia, are you ok?" I asked her. Alia seemed caught off guard by my question. "Huh? Oh! It's just really nice up here, that's all. Flying's nice." She replied, looking away again to hide her blushing face. I looked at her confused until my eyes widened a bit with surprise and turned away a bit smiling and blushing a little. Suddenly Rush came to a stop, tossing us both off and flying face first right into a large cardboard cutout of Sayu on top of the roof of the music store.

We then peeled off and fell on our backs onto the roof. "Falling on the other hand, definitely stinks." Alia said, slightly groaning in discomfort. Rush then flew over us whining as if he was saying sorry. "It's OK boy, we know you didn't mean it." I reassured him. We got up and looked over the edge of the roof to see a large crowd surrounding the store below. I looked around the rooftop and spotted a door entrance behind us. Inside me, Alia and Rush walked down the stairs onto a walkway looking over the store.

Inside was an arch that read 'BUCKY'S' with a banner over it reading "Sayu'' in big, light blue letters. Two giant cutouts of Sayu are on either side of the door, one looked like it was singing into the microphone and the other looked like it was looking over the crowd with an adorable look. Teens all over the ground and on the various floors and balconies crowd and cheer as Sayu's song plays in the background. On the ground floor teens were loudly cheering. A tower of video screens all fill up from the bottom row, left to right, showing a collective picture of Sayu singing on her microphone. At a top balcony where two men in yellow security shirts stood on either side while spotlights shined down on the floor from the ceiling a blue plume of smoke erupted from it before clearing up to reveal Sayu.

Everyone below started breaking out into cheering screams. Sayu held up her arms to reveal her holding two fans made out of yellow concert tickets in her hands. She then threw the tickets into the air to the crowd below just as a row of small cannons fired an entire cloud of concert tickets covering the ground floor. Sayu looked down at the cheering crowd with a smile grabbing a microphone. "Who do you love?" She asked. The crowd started chanting her name over and over with Sayu grasping the railing and smiling with adoration. Her chest then started glowing brighter and brighter as the glow started to spread throughout her entire body. She closed her eyes and leaned back bringing her hands up to her chest as if she were soaking in all the love from the crowd.

I looked between her and the crowd cheering for her. "Something tells me they're not gonna like seeing their idol get blown to pieces." I said. Alia looked around until she spotted one of the large cutouts of Sayu. "Don't worry I think I can distract them." She told me. Back down below the crowd continued to chant Sayu's name fists pumping in the air. Suddenly the crowd stopped and gasped in shock looking up. Sayu looked as well to see Alia hanging from a rope with a red marker in her hand as she finished drawing a pair of glasses on the cutout of Sayu's face. She had also added a mustache and goatee. Alia then held her hand up to shout at the crowd. "Hey everyone, look! It's Sayu Mcsucks!" She shouted.

Sayu glared at her before gasping at the glow in her chest dimming slightly. She looked back up at Alia. "Oh great, a critic. Maybe you'll like my new song better?" She said getting ready to sing into the microphone. Before she could I flew in on Rush and knocked her off the balcony sending her flying into a wall. "Hey! Do you take requests? How about 'Beat it'!" I told her. Sayu picked herself up, glaring at me. "How about I lay down a few vocal cords instead, dipstick!" She said drawing a breath and uttering a loud shriek knocking me off Rush and through the roof.

Alia looked concerned and started climbing the rope back up. Sayu then focused her energy and started to float in the air and fly through the hole after me laughing. The crowd below just cheered thinking that it was all just a show. Back on the roof I slowly stood up as Sayu flew out through the hole and floated above me with a smile. She uttered another shriek at me but I managed to dodge and jump up to tackle her and pin her down with our hands interlocked with each other.

Sayu struggled underneath, unable to overpower me. "Dipstick? Ho ho. Funny. Who writes your insults? The same hack who writes your songs?" I asked her. Down on the street below the crowd continued to chant Sayu's name. Her chest then started to glow brighter again as Sayu started grinning. She suddenly started to slowly push back against me and now I was the one struggling. Eventually she was able to tower slightly above me as I was trying to push back. I grunted looking worried when I glanced over to the crowd chanting below and looked back at Sayu. "The chanting…makes her stronger." I said, realizing the source of her strength. "You got that right, baby pop. And the more kids chanting, the stronger I get!" Sayu confirmed as she started to throw me into the large cutout of herself on the roof.

I slammed into the top of it causing it to break loose and fall forward nearly going over the edge with the bottom barely keeping it steady. I sat up grasping my head and looked up at Sayu floating above me. "And if you think I'm strong now? Just wait until midnight when my concert goes global. And the whole world's chanting my name. Then you'll ALL be my slaves!" She said shouting another shriek attack at me and knocked me back on top of the cutout. The attack hit me so hard it caused me to transform back.

Sayu looked down at me until a sudden loud noise drew her attention away from me. She turned to see Alia standing there in the doorway and ran out to stand between me and her with her arms stretched out. "Get away from him!" She shouted at her. Sayu just looked at her amused. "Aw, teen love. They say it never lasts, but nothing distracts teenagers more than hormones. And I need to keep you busy for the next eight hours…" She stated, confusing both me and Alia. "I've got more than just music for you. Not that they're all chanting my name, my music CAN affect you! So how about a love song?" She finished harmonizing a different tune and blasting a soundwave at us.

Alia was sent flying landing on the other end of the cutout while I braced myself and started falling under a trance. Alia got up on her hands and knees looking down in terror as the cutout shifted under her wait. She stopped moving and looked over at me as I turned around. She was confused to see me look at her with a goofy, and dreamy grin. Sayu on the other hand just chuckled a little at the sight. "Well I think I'll leave the new couple alone. Ciao babies!" She said laughing as she dove back down through the hole.

Alia looked even more confused. " New couple? What the heck is she talking about?" Alia asked me. She then noticed that I was climbing up onto the cutout. "Uh, Rock? Now would be a good time to call Rush and fly us out of this." She told me. Instead I just continued to climb onto the cutout and proceeded to slowly crawl towards her shifting the cutout further over the edge. "Rock, wait! What are you doing?" Alia asked me, starting to get worried. "Wow. I just never realized, you're really pretty when you're about to fall off a building." I told her, still in a daze.

Alia started to get more scared as the cutout leaned further over the ledge. "Rock? Get back! Rock!" She yelled at me as she started to sink lower and lower on the cutout. Unfortunately I continued not to listen and continued crawling towards her. Alia continued to beg and tell me to stay back. I stopped briefly and raised my hand to point at her and myself. "But you're over there and I'm over here. I wanna be over there." I told her. Alia then took a good look at my face. "Wait, I know that look. That's the same longing puppy dog stare Douglas gave to Sayu." She told me. "Who's Sayu?" I asked her. "Well that's a pleasant side effect." She said lightening up a little.

That lightness was soon shattered by returning fear as I continued to get closer to Alia causing the cutout to lean further until Alia started to slide off and fall towards the ground screaming. She held out her arms as if hoping to grab onto something to stop her falling. Just as she was about to hit the pavement Rush flew over and caught her in midair. Alia grabbed hold of him and thanked him. "Good job Rush. Good boy." She said petting his head as he barked. They flew back for me just as the police arrived.

Within a few minutes all the teens were being rounded up with Ms. Cho speaking into a megaphone. "Attention unruly teens. By the authority of the emergency mass grounding act, you are all under house arrest. You will now be escorted back to your homes to await parental punishment." She announced. "And as for your precious Sayu. She's going down!" She added before having the megaphone taken away by a police officer. "Ok give me that." He told her. Just as we were about to fly off a few police officers stepped through the door and spotted us. "Alright hold it right there." One of them ordered. Fortunately Rush was able to quickly change back beforehand while me and Alia just stood there putting our hands in the air.

A few hours later I was back home getting a lecture from Dad. "Just what is the matter with you?" Dad asked. "You need to be studying for the Northwestern Nine testing tomorrow." I looked at Dad with a still dreamy look on my face. "How can I study when I can't stop thinking about Alia?" I asked him. Both Dad and Auto looked at each other surprised at my question. Suddenly the phone rang with Auto walking over to answer it. "Hello, Light residence." He answered. He listened to the voice on the other end for a while before his expression turned into worry. "Of course. One moment please." Auto said before calling over to Dad.

He told him that the phone call was from Dr. Cain and that he needed to talk to him. "He says it's important." Auto added. Dad walked over and took the phone. He started talking to Dr. Cain on the other line. I wasn't in the right mind to hear what they were talking about but it made Dad's expression turn from curiosity to shock and finally to understanding. "I understand. Yeah I'll be over tomorrow afternoon." Dad said before hanging up the phone. He let out a sigh and then looked back over to me. "Auto, take Xavier upstairs to his room." He said. Auto nodded and escorted me back to my room.

A few moments later I just lay on my bed constantly thinking about Alia due to Sayu's spell. Until I heard a sudden thump outside my window. I turned my head just in time to see Alia climb up to my window and knock against the glass. "Alia!" I cried out in excitement. Alia made the shush gesture with her finger. "You snuck out to see me? Oh this is just like Romeo and Juliet. Except I'm the one on the balcony and I can understand what we're both saying." I told her. Alia told me to open the window though her voice was muffled so I didn't fully understand.

Of course I still got up and opened the window only for her to end up falling through onto the floor. "You want me to open up? OK, so a few years back I wanted to know where babies come from but my Dad was acting all weird and evasive about it so I-" Alia stood up and covered my mouth with both her hands. "Will you knock it off!" She told me in a loud whisper. "We have to stop Sayu's concert before she takes over the world." She added. She then looked over at the wall next to my bed and saw a makeshift shrine to her composed of all the pictures I had of her. She retracted her hands and cringed a little upon seeing it. "Ok, even the part of me that's kinda liking the attention is really freaked out by this." She admitted.

I then reached out and grasped her hands. "It doesn't matter. So long as we have each other." I confessed to her looking right into her eyes. "Will you snap out of it!" Alia said while grabbing ahold of my wrists. "You don't feel that way about me. And I don't feel that way about you." She told me. "Then why are you still holding my hands?" I asked her, causing her to let go and groan with exasperation. I then glanced at her ears. "And why are you still wearing that pair of earrings I gave you?" I pointed out. "Ok first off you didn't give these to me, Douglas did. And second they're not even real earrings. They're just some stupid communicators designed to…" Alia stopped mid sentence as her eyes widened and she took off the earphones. "Designed to filter out background audio waves." She finished.

I looked at her confused. "So does this mean that we're breaking up?" I asked. Alia looked at me with excited realization. "Don't you get it, Rock? That's why I haven't been affected by Sayu's music! I've been wearing Douglas' homemade earphones this whole time!" She stated, holding the earphones out to me. I just glanced at them before looking back at her. "So we're not breaking up?" I asked her with a smile. Alia placed her hand against her face. "How can we be breaking up? We were never together." Alia stated in slight annoyance. Finally fed up with my current state of mind, Alia grabbed my arm and led me to the window. "Come on we're gonna have to deprogram you like-" Alia stopped dead in her tracks having just remembered something. "Oh my gosh! Axel and Douglas!" She said in a worried tone.

Meanwhile back at school Alia and I broke in and made our way to the room where we left Axel and Douglas tied up. Alia opened the door to find them still sitting there looking at the screens in front of them. "Douglas! Axel!" Alia called them. Douglas turned around to look at us. "Ah, there you are. I was afraid you'd forgotten about us." Douglas said. "Douglas are you ok?" She asked him. "Why yes, I believe so. However I'm starting to worry about Axel over here." He told her, gesturing over to Axel. We looked over to find Axel's eyes widened with his pupils dilated. "Twelve… hours… of… intensive standardized test prep." He mumbled to himself.

Alia went over to start untying the both of them. "You guys, I'm so sorry." She told them. I just stood there and swooned at her. "You know you're beautiful when you're racked with guilt." I confessed. Alia turned to me annoyed. "Not now, Rock." She told me. While Axel snapped out of it Douglas asked if something was going on between me and Alia. While she claimed that there wasn't, I told him that we were just having a little lover's disagreement. Upon hearing that Axel stood up and brought me and Alia into a group hug. "Man, it's about time. I always knew you two would end up together." He told us while mischievously grinning.

Alia broke away from the hug and looked at us. "We're not together! Sayu put him under some kind of spell." She explained. Douglas and Axel looked at her confused. "Wait so you don't want to end up together?" Douglas asked her. Alia looked at them conflicted for a moment. "I don't know. Maybe. But not like this." She admitted holding her arms out at me. She turned to Douglas. "Douglas please. We have to break the spell." She told him. Douglas nodded and asked Axel to sit me down in front of the screens as he proceeded to put one of the CramTastic helmets on my head. "Now we'll just crank up the story problems and we'll see him in twelve hours." He instructed.

Alia looked up at the clock hanging from the wall. "We don't have twelve hours. Sayu's concert starts in 15 minutes. She gets her power when people chant her name. And with a whole world-wide audience she'll be unstoppable." She told them. Axel then took the helmet off my head and pulled me out of the chair. "Then we better bolt down to that show and crank down the volume." He said. Suddenly Axel's face then went blank as he started to talk quickly. "The volume of a sphere is equal to the square of the race of the base times pi times the height." He said in a cold emotionless tone.

Alia and Douglas looked at him in surprise. "Axel, that was incredible." Douglas complimented as Axel shook his head. "Wow, That thing really works." Axel said, looking back at the helmet. Then his expression became annoyed. "And I spent the last nine years of my school life actually reading?" He complained as we headed out. Meanwhile massive crowds were gathering at the beach where Sayu's concert was taking place. On a stage barge on the water workers walked along a small dock connecting the barge to the beach to set up the electrical equipment. While on the shore a mobile control booth for the equipment was set up near the beach.

Nearby me, Alia and the guys snuck past security and made our way to the control booth. Thanks to my increased strength it was no problem breaking off the lock to the door. We took a peek inside to see that the ones manning the controls were none other than Met and Eddie. Met's helmet sprung up to reveal an arm extension reaching over to flip a few switches while Eddie was in contact with Dr. Wily. "We're approximately 10 minutes away from broadcasting sir." He reported. "Good. Notify me the moment Splash Woman's spell begins to take full effect and we can commence with the final phase." Wily instructed him. "Understood Dr. Wily. Final operations are standing by." Eddie replied, ending the transmission. "So that's it." Alia said. "Sayu is just another one of Wily's robots." She added. "And to think, her programming is so sinister. Yet her build is so exquisite." Douglas exclaimed with slight disappointment.

We then opened the door and carefully snuck up on Met and Eddie with Axel and Douglas grabbing them from behind and stuffing them into a large sack held open by Alia. She quickly closed it and tied off the top before tossing it into a corner. She then turned to Douglas. "Douglas, you and Axel cut the power. Rock and I will stand watch." She instructed him. Douglas nodded while he and Axel walked over to the control panel. Meanwhile I just stood around gazing dreamily at Alia while she just looked back at me with a slight scowl. "Uh, can you watch something besides me?" She asked me. I popped back to reality for a moment before taking out a picture of Alia and gazing at it. Alia looked at me with slight disappointment.

Back with Douglas and Axel they were busy looking over the controls trying to find a way to cut the power to the camera system. "Try looking on that side while I look on the other side." Douglas suggested to Axel. Axel glanced over at the many different dials and switches. "Ok, cutting off the power." Axel said, flipping a random switch with his thumb label 'PA SYSTEM'. His face then went blank again as he started speaking. "Electrical power equals electrical current times electric potential." He stated, before shaking his head back and forth and rubbing it with his hand. "Man, I gotta stop doing that." He commented unaware that his words were transmitted over the PA system on the stage. Back on the Stage Sayu was adjusting her microphone stand until she heard Axel's words come out of three amps above the stage. She looked up at them warily and then looked over at the control booth on the beach. Her vision zoomed in to see the four of us inside.

Sayu then turned to Bulk and Skull who were standing by wearing security jackets. "Hey! You two. We've got some party crashers in the main control booth. Deal with them for me." She ordered them. "We love you Sayu!" Bulk and Skull shouted, causing her to cringe in annoyance and look at them both with one eye open. "I heard you the twelfth time. Now go bag' em and gag' em." She instructed pointing her finger at the booth. Bulk and Skull ran over across the small dock and headed toward the control booth.

Back inside the booth the sack containing Met and Eddie started to move a bit until a small whirring sound started coming from inside. A few seconds later the sack was cut open from the inside with a small buzzsaw coming out of Eddie's head, freeing both of the small robots. They then stalked up behind Douglas and Axel with both of them unaware of the threat behind them. "I'd advise both of you to step away from there." Eddie told them, prompting them to turn around. Douglas looked at them undeterred. "And what if my friend and I refuse?" Douglas asked. In response, Met and Eddie's heads opened up with an all manner of deadly weapons springing out at them. Douglas and Axel both stared at them before instantly putting up their hands. "Good answer, good answer." Douglas commented.

Back outside Alia heard some commotion going on inside. Before she could ask what was going on she was grabbed from behind by Skull while I was grabbed by Bulk. They dragged us away while Met and Eddie escorted Douglas out while dragging Axel whose expression was once again blank as he started going on about a train going 25 miles an hour. A few minutes later the beach was completely packed with people with the stage barge shrouded by a large curtain. On the other side of the curtain a giant backboard in the shape of blue bubbles read 'Sayu'. Backstage Sayu glanced over at each of us with a smug grin. "Well look who showed up just in time for the big finale." She said, as she moved past all of us stopping at me. "So you're the little punk that the old man is obsessed with? I don't know who's more pathetic, you or him." She commented.

Met walked up to her trying to get her attention. "Excuse me Splash Wo-" Sayu turned to him with a glare causing him to jump and quickly correct himself. "I mean Sayu, but perhaps we should consider canceling the broadcast." He suggested. Sayu looked at him with mild frustration. "Excuse me?" She asked him. "Well it's just that now that we have Mega-Man and the Omega Core there's really no more need to brainwash the world to turn against him." He explained. Sayu just looked at him with little interest. "Who said anything about turning them against him?" She leaned down and asked him. Met and Eddie looked at her confused. "But those are the instructions that Dr. Wily gave us." Eddie told her. Sayu then straightened up her posture, placing her finger against her chin thinking. "Hmm. Let me think about that for a moment… oh that's right I don't care." she stated, snapping her fingers. Suddenly a third security guard walked up and picked up the two small robots by their heads.

Sayu then instructed him to toss them into the nearest dumpster. The guard turned and walked away with them struggling to break free. As they were being carried away, Met quickly contacted Dr. Wily to inform him of Sayu's betrayal. Within the next few seconds he contacted her through her comms. "What is the meaning of this Splash Woman? Your primary objective was to get me the Omega Core!" He shouted. "Yeah, change of plans, gramps. I've decided to do things my way." She informed him. Wily's anger started to build up. "Listen to me you traitorous trout! The Omega Core is the most important part of our plan." He told her. "Important to your plan maybe. As for me, I've already got everything I need." She stated with a matter of fact tone in her voice. Wily then flipped up a latch revealing a big red button. "Well then my dear, perhaps it's time our little partnership finally comes to an end!" He shouted pushing the button.

When nothing happened Wily became confused as he continued to repeatedly push the button while Sayu began to laugh. "Aw what's the matter grandpa? Fancy little termination chip not working?" She asked as she held up a small red computer chip with a skull on it. Wily looked at his screen in shock. "What? But how did you?" "Oh please I had it taken out long ago." She said looking at it. "But that's impossible! You're programming shouldn't have allowed you to-" "Guess you made me smarter than you thought." Sayu commented, crushing the chip between her fingers. Over the PA it was announced that it was 5 seconds to broadcast. "Well as much as I'd love to continue this little chat I'm afraid I've got a show to perform. Catch you on the flipside, Old Man." Sayu said cutting off the transmission. She then turned back to us. "Later, dipsticks. I gotta go rock my world. And when I say my world? I MEAN my world." She said moving away from us. Alia looked over at me telling me to stop her only for me to reply that I wouldn't leave her.

Meanwhile back at Wily's lab the doctor stood at his console slamming his fists against it. He then received a transmission from Eddie and Met. "What are we going to do now sir?" Met asked. Wily let out a large sigh. "As much as I detest the idea I'm afraid the only thing we can do is hope that little blue menace actually manages to fry that little piece of fish bait." He stated through gritted teeth. Back on the stage the concert was about to begin with the cameras starting their world-wide transmission. Alia continued to struggle with snapping me out of it. "Just forget about me!" she shouted. "I can't! I won't!" I shouted back.

On the stage the lights dimmed as the curtain rose with a build up of music. Steam covered the stage with a spotlight shining down to reveal Sayu standing center stage as the crowd erupted into cheers. Sayu looked up and spoke into the microphone. "Hell-o Silicon City! Who - do - you - love?" She shouted, raising her fist into the air. The crowd roared, chanting her name. Sayu's chest started to glow brighter than it ever did as she started to harmonize with the music.

'Undercurrents pull at your heart

Feeling so powerful it leads you on

The waves of emotion wash over me.

But can you see the ocean through the reef?'

Nearby a news van started transmitting the concert up to a TV satellite in orbit that sent out that same transmission all across the globe.

'Undercurrents drag at your heart

Feeling so powerful it leads you on

A new tide comes in and I'm washed away

Forces stronger than hate are left in the wake'

Throughout all the different countries people were watching and starting to chant Sayu's name everywhere at once.

'Stronger than hate

Anchored through the tidal waves

Go on, take the bait

You can't fight the currents of love!

Lifts you from the deep

Rescued when you're lost at sea

Only surge you'll ever need

You can't fight the currents of love!'

Sayu's chest grew brighter and brighter as she slowly floated up with her hand out extending to the ocean. Suddenly large bodies of water raised up into the air and started shifting into different shapes to further entertain the viewers. Some turned into dolphins swimming through the air above the crowd while others shifted into spinning sea stars spiraling in a circle around Sayu.

'Stronger than hate

Anchored through the hurricane

Go on, no need to wait

You can't fight the currents of love!

Lifts you from the brink

Rescued when you start to sink

Only dream you'll ever need

You can't fight the currents of love!'

Backstage Alia looked up at Sayu with worry and looked back at me with determination. "I hate to do this to you, Rock. But if I can't break Sayu's spell, I'm gonna break your heart." She said unsure of what to do herself. That is until she looked at Skull and moved to look at him face to face. Before he could ask what she was doing Alia jumped up and kissed him full on the lips. Douglas, Axel and Bulk stood there shocked while I on the other hand felt like my entire world shattered around me. The pain I felt in that moment was greater than any pain I'd have ever felt before. "Alia, how could you? How?" I started asking before my emotions started to boil over.

I felt the inside of my chest twist and turn as my eyes started glowing with energy. "Hey! Get away from her!" I shouted throwing Bulk off of me and into a metal support beam knocking him unconscious. Alia and Skull broke away from each other, both wiping their mouths. "Ugh, she tastes like pen ink." Skull shouted. "Ugh, he tastes like failure." Alia shouted. Suddenly Douglas hit Skull over the head with an extra microphone knocking him out as well. Douglas looked at him lying on the ground. "While I know he's no longer a bully, something about that felt really cathartic." He commented. Alia then walked over to me. "Rock, I'm so sorry. I-" She tried to explain but I just shrugged off her hand and turned to her. "You and Skull? But we were…" I started until I looked right at Alia.

Suddenly everything started to become clear to me again as I slowly understood the truth. "But…we weren't, were we?" I asked her. Alia shook her head. "No, Sayu did that. It's just, this is so hard because part of me... part of me really liked this and-" She explained while my attention turned elsewhere. I looked over on the stage where Sayu was continuing her performance. Just like that my feelings turned from disappointment back to full on anger. "Sayu." I growled under my breath. Alia looked at me with concern. "Rock? Are you ok?" She asked me. "No. I feel like my heart has been ripped out." I told her. "But I know who I can take it out on!" I declared instantly transforming into my armor on the spot.

Once completed I ran out onto the stage with Douglas, Axel and Alia watching from the side stage. Alia pushed her hair back as a small smile started to form on her face. Meanwhile Sayu's performance started to go into full swing.

'One, two, three, four

Motion on the ocean floor!

Five, six, seven, eight

Double bubble, swim some more!

One, two, three, four

Motion on the ocean floor!

One, two, three, four

Swishing fishes, bring it in!

Five, six, seven, eight

Triple ripple, shake your fins!

One, two, three, four

Swishing fishes, let's begin!'

The crowd continued to roar with excitement as the concert continued. Sayu basked in the entire world's growing admiration of her. Until I stormed onto the stage and leaped up to shoulder tackle her off the stage and into the water. "Hey, No-hit wonder? Mind if I jam with you?" I shouted at her. She poked her head out of the water and growled at me before rising up out of the water and into the air, extending out her hand to manipulate one of the water shapes into a large fist. "Get this straight, Dipstick! I don't do duets!" She shouted motioning her hand toward me prompting the giant water fist to fly right at me.

*Sayu's song remix starts playing

The fist hit me dead-on and caused me to scream as it sent me flying through the air landing on a blank spot on the beach. I stood back up and leaped back onto the side of the stage as Sayu got in front of a backup microphone getting ready to resume singing. As she's about to utter her next note a cable suddenly wrapped around the microphone stand and got yanked away from her. She gasped in surprise before looking over to the side with frustration. There she saw me catch the mic-stand and wield it like a staff. "Sorry! No vocals in this number! Have you considered taking up mime?" I suggested to her as she growled at me, extending her hand out again.

Only this time something small sprang out of her arm and extended itself in her hand into a metal trident with a flash of energy forming the fork at the end. "Oh boy." I mumbled to myself as Sayu launched herself at me to try and stab me with the trident. I managed to hold up the mic-stand to block it and we then struggled against each other. She then swept her trident trying to knock me off my feet, but I quickly jumped over it. We then continue to clash mic-stand to trident.

I managed to block her next trident thrust with the stand with the energy end nearly impaling my head while I tried to counter by swinging the stand to strike her in the back. Sayu unfortunately managed to block with the trident at her back as she continued attacking. I quickly took cover with the stand over my head, blocking the trident. I then leaned back bringing the stand back like a bat and screaming my head off like a maniac Sayu brought her trident back to bat it, also screaming like a maniac.

We both jumped in, clashing our weapons in a way that produced a bright, astounding wave of blue light. We held it for as long as we could until we ended up both being flung away. Sayu landed sliding across the stage on her tail crouching low. After my foot touched the floor Sayu jumped up again ready to strike at me with her trident. She screamed as I held up the stand while she blasted at me with her trident, causing me to fall backwards and the floorboards to bust up under the force of the attack.

I ended up landing on my bottom with two severed halves of the mic-stand in my hands as I looked at them with the bottom half smoldering. Sayu then aimed her trident at the water behind me which started to rise up into a swirling vortex as she directed it with her trident before coming down, encasing me in a prison of water. The audience on the beach watched this thinking it was all part of the show and continued cheering and chanting Sayu's name. Sayu moved closer to me, leaning her head forward. "Hear that? They're chanting my name all over the world. The revolution WILL be televised!" She declared clutching her fist with her eyes and chest glowing brighter with energy.

*remix ends

I tried to break out of the vortex but the wall density adjusted itself to keep me contained. Sayu was just too strong for me to defeat. In order to beat her I would have to stop the crowd from chanting. Something horrible that would break the spell. Something like… Alia kissing Skull. Or worse. I then shot a look at Axel and called out to him. "Axel, sing! Take the mic and sing!" I shouted, taking the microphone out of the broken stand and tossing it through the water at Axel. It flew through the air before landing in Axel's hands. He looked at me confused. "Wait, you want me to sing? But you guys said I stink." He said. "Oh, uh, we were just kidding, You rock! Right Douglas?" I asked, lying through my teeth. "Oh indeed, friend. You rock out loud!" He lied.

Axel then grasped the mic in his hand as a determined smile grew on his face. "You got that right!" He shouted as he ran out onto the stage sliding out on his knees grasping the mic with both hands. He then immediately started singing off key causing the crowd to start to lose focus with a few of them even questioning where they were. Across the world everyone started to cover their ears trying to drown out the horrible noise now being broadcasted. Sayu looked on in shock as her power started to wane. "What? Wait! No stop!" She shouted, holding her arm out. Suddenly my water prison stopped moving and fell apart around me.

Sayu then rushed up to the front of the stage looking out at the crowd. "No! Who do you love?!" She cried out only to receive nothing but silence in response. "Come on, say it! Say my name! SAY MY NAME!" She shouted at the top of her lungs until her light dimmed to a weak spark. She then felt a tug on her tail causing her to turn around and see me grabbing ahold of her with both hands. "The only thing we're saying here is goodbye!" I told her as I started spinning around and round causing her to cry out until I threw her straight up into the air screaming. I then aimed my cannon arm up at her charging up a large shot before firing.

Up in the air Sayu looked down to see a large ball of plasma prompting her to raise her arms up trying to shield her as she screamed until being engulfed by the plasma ball and triggering a massive explosion. Back down below I lowered my arm to admire the light show above. I then turned around to look down at my feet. "Uh, Ok Axel you can stop now." I said as Axel lay on the ground continuing to sing into the microphone before finally stopping. He stood up with his eyes wide as his Sayu wig fell off. The silent crowd then burst into cheers again.

I then ran back to the side of the stage where I transformed out of sight. Alia and Douglas ran up to me with Alia jumping into my arms into a hug. "Rock, that was awesome." She said before noticing how close we were and breaking away from the hug rubbing the back of her head embarrassed. "Uh, I guess Sayu's spell hasn't quite worn off yet." She said blushing a little. "Wait but you never were under Sayu's spell." Douglas pointed out before Alia jabbed him in the stomach with her elbow causing him to double over in slight pain. Meanwhile I just stood there and smiled.

The next day at school we were all in class wearing the CramTastic helmets with Ms. Cho and the school principal standing by Ms. Cho's desk. "These standardized test scores are the worst in this school's history." She stated, going over some papers on her desk. "No doubt due to the rampant late-night carousing prior to test day." She added. A lot of the students in the room had expressions of embarrassment on their faces. "However, two students' perfect scores did manage to bring the entire school average up." She announced holding up two separate score papers. "And that's good news for my bonus." She finished under her breath. "Therefore, Axel Stern and Douglas Brown are excused from this afternoon's mandatory CramTastic session." The principal announced, causing Axel to stand up and shout 'YES'.

Douglas on the other hand looked a little disappointed at not being able to participate. "Oh, curse my intellectual prowess." He said. "Hey come on man, cheer up. Just look at this as an example of irony: a literary device employing the incongruity between what might be expected, and what actually occurs." Axel reassured him. "You know I doubt I will ever get used to you being actually smart." Douglas commented as he walked out of the room. "I know right? It's both super weird and super awesome." Axel replied following behind him. As for me and Alia we were stuck retaking the test along with everyone else. A small price to pay for saving the world I guess.

Alia leaned over to me and started whispering to me. "I don't suppose you can bring back Sayu and get us out of this?" She joked. "Nope. Besides I'm sure she's gonna be pretty hard to find out there in the middle of the ocean." I replied with a smile. Unfortunately I would turn out to be wrong as meanwhile back on the beach a piece of Sayu's chest had washed up on shore. Coming over to examine it were Met and Eddie with Met opening up his helmet to use an extendable drill to unscrew the outer plating of Sayu's chest. Once it was off they both saw Sayu's core still glowing with energy leaving them both mesmerized.

Eddie contacted Dr. Wily back at his lab. "Sir we found it. And you're not gonna believe this but…the Beta Core's energy reading is completely stable." Eddie reported. Wily on the other end started laughing a little at the news. "Well of course. Thanks to the energy blast from the little blue twerp, the Beta Core reacted to the real core's energy signature causing it to fully catalyze." He explained. "In other words… we now have in our possession a complete replica of the Omega Core!" Wily declared going into another round of laughter.

*Preview*

Rock: Hey guys. Rock here to tell you all about what to expect in the next episode. Well believe it or not, just a few hours after I defeat one villain I have to tangle with a returning one right off the bat.

Axel: Dude that is messed up.

Douglas: What's even more messed up is that one part of the school has been converted into one giant death course.

Rock: I know and considering that I'm still wiped out from my last fight I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get through it.

Alia: Well if you don't, we're all going to end up getting a permanent expulsion.

Rock: Next time on Mega-Man: Robotic Hero! Episode 11: Class of the Titans! See ya soon!

Ok not gonna lie, this was fun to write. Also the title of the song used in this episode as well as its remix for the fight scene are both vs. SAYU from the No Straight Roads video game/Encore Edition soundtracks. So if any of you wanna hear what Splash Woman's voice sounded like? Or wanna hear the fight music? I suggest you check them both out.

And now replies to some reviews.

Theoldblood98: So glad you found that funny too. Lol.

Van Vu: If you're asking why I didn't post on AO3 originally, well the truth is I never thought about it before. I mean was always my go to place for fanfics and how I got into writing them in the first place. Course I was always curious about what it would be like and eventually decided "You know what? Why the hell not?". So there ya go.

HEROS central: You know, I've actually been waiting for someone to ask me that question. And the truth is… it had been so long since I'd gotten back into Mega-Man that I had completely forgotten he could do that. And by the time I realized everything in the story felt so perfect that I didn't have the heart or the energy to change it. However for the sake of fans everywhere I will do my best to incorporate that in the final episode.

And as always guess the badguy's identity correctly and you'll receive a special shout out at the beginning of the next chapter. Until then, this is Tardispilot297 saying… Allonsy!
