THE SIGN

"Sign? This sigil u mean ? Its of the lannisters. The lion." Tyrion pointed at his chest. "Every noble house has its sigil, i thought everyone knew it." He said raising his eyebrows.

They hesitated for a moment. The dwarf turned forwards.

"Ooohhh. ..I am having déjà vu" Ron excitedly whispered to Harry and Hermione.

A smile spread on Harry's face.

What if he's godric's ancestor ? Harry started to get excited. All this looked so similar. And he liked this new game. Atleast it was better than staying at home listening to Ginny talk about quidditch all day long. Harry had slipped out of his home on that afternoon, giving her the excuse of collecting Teddie from bill's. Now ginny would wonder where he had gone and would really be annoyed to find out the truth...and also maybe ...worried?

Harry, Ron and Hermione had planned getting out for some fun.

"I thought all the time turners had been destroyed by the ministry?" Harry had asked when Hermione had pulled an old clock.

" Yeah all of them, except one. " She had grinned.

Ron and Hermione had went ahead... Harry quickly followed up.

"Now i am looking for a badger and a raven sigil." Ron said dreamily.

"Yep."

Harry imagined how Godric gryffindor would look like. This maybe be the time before Godric.

"So, 'adults' are you enjoying the tour? " Tyrion spoke

"Ye-yes . Ofcourse. Where are we going now?"

"The library. I'll let you stay there for some time then we'll show you the blackwater bay. Our castle had been out of shape for some time forgive us for that. "

"Out of shape?" Ron questioned.

"Some incident we don't talk about." Tyrion frowned and gestured them to move forward.

"Any idea what is he talking about?"Ron whispered to Hermione.

"I dont know Ron."

The library was great and books stood neatly .

"It was bigger before, by the way. " Tyrion remarked.

Harry thought he might find something significant here. "Can we read some books?" He said ignoring Hermione's shocked looks.

"Yeah. Go on."

Harry couldn't decide what would he like to read. He just glared at them and looked at the book designs. Books from the library always had helped them solve any mystery . Philosopher's stone ? Books. Polyjuice potion? Hermione books. How to survive under water? Books...

"Harry! I found out this time period we are in. It's 500 AD! That's before the discovery of magic! It has so many things..these are one of the oldest books. I saw these in the restricted section of hogwarts . "

"What's it called?"

Ron appeared behind her. "Hey wanna see something?"

He showed them a painting of a woman standing between huge flames, which were licking her. She was standing there, unaffected. She had silver hair...just as same as the woman they saw earlier.

"She's the queen. And look what they wrote about her."

"Daenerys stormborn of house tar-targai-- no targaryen , the unburnt, the breaker of chains, the khaleesi of the great grass sea- these are probably titles, Ron. People in the olden days exaggerated about their rulers, so it's normal. I mean how could a person survive standing between flames-" Hermione stopped abruptly.

"Wait. You said something about medieval witches .. about burning or something?"

"It all connects." Harry said.

" I mean, they got a dragon, then a person who's survived through flames they are magic and they don't know that yet. "

"Do you remember the time when they realised?" Harry asked.

"Oh, why don't you just read the books ? That's a question every wizard should know the answer of. It was 600 AD."

"Okay, i get it. Then what if we tried to find the ancestor of Voldemort and killed him? And my parents would neither have been killed nor i get to have this scar." (Ron flinched)

"I am not sure about this Harry, Voldemort's ancestor may also be your ancestor. That would mean you wouldn't exist and if u didn't exist then who killed the ancestor? "

Harry couldn't process what Hermione said. Neither could Ron.

"It'll cause a paradox. That's it." Hermione answered.

"And what's a paradox ? " Ron asked.

"Which we don't have solutions to"

"Are you people done with it ?" Tyrion came out. "now if you please, I'll show you the black water bay."
