Welcome back to the Xenoblade Heart to Hearts series! Today, we're starting our next location, home of our legendary Heropon, Frontier Village! As usual, Spyro and Cynder will start us off. So let's not waste another second. Here we go!
Heart to Heart 52: Settling Down
Participants: Spyro and Cynder
Location: Nopon Tower
Affinity: Lavender
Introduction
Spyro: So this is Riki's village? Looks like a nice place.
Cynder: It certainly is. Has just about everything one would need to settle down and start a family.
Spyro: I thought you were hesitant to do that?
Pass/Pass
Cynder: If I'm being honest, that was just because the idea was dropped on me so suddenly at first.
Spyro: Oh. I'm sorry if I did that.
Cynder: No worries, Spyro. I got your reasoning then entirely. Neither of us are really for being big into what we were put into. (More to herself than to Spyro) And truth be told, I've always kind of wanted to settle down with you.
Spyro: (Having only partly heard that last part) What was that?
Cynder: (Realizing she's been heard) Nothing!
Spyro: (Not realizing she's lying this time, for some reason) Okay. But, you are open to settling down?
Cynder: Always have been. Like I said, you just startled me with it the first time.
Spyro: Completely understandable.

Pass/Fail
Cynder: If I'm being honest, that was just because the idea was dropped on me so suddenly at first.
Spyro: Oh. I'm sorry if I did that.
Cynder: No worries, Spyro. I got your reasoning then entirely. Neither of us are really for being big into what we were put into. (More to herself than to Spyro) And truth be told, I've always kind of wanted to settle down with you.
Spyro: (Having only partly heard that last part) What was that?
Cynder: (Realizing she's been heard) What?
Spyro: You said something there. I was just trying to figure out what it was.
Cynder: I didn't say anything.
Spyro: (Not buying it, but letting it go) Okay.
Cynder: Spyro, you big lump of purple plum. I can't believe you are this easy to fool. (Sighs) I guess that's part of why I love you.

Fail/Pass
Cynder: Like I said, the idea is warming on me. Slowly but steadily.
Spyro: You have no idea how relieved I am to hear that.
Cynder: That's good to hear. I just need a little more time to think.
Spyro: I don't want to rush the matter, but, about how much time do you think you'll need?
Cynder: (Confused) Why do you ask?
Spyro: Well, you know my parents are getting up there in age. I'd really like to be there for them in their twilight years.
Cynder: That's... very noble of you.
Spyro: It's the least I can do.
Cynder: In that case, we can start settling down the second we get back.
Spyro: Really?
Cynder: Of course, my love.

Fail/Fail
Cynder: Like I said, the idea is warming on me. Slowly but steadily.
Spyro: You have no idea how relieved I am to hear that.
Cynder: That's good to hear. I just need a little more time to think.
Spyro: I don't want to rush the matter, but, about how much time do you think you'll need?
Cynder: That's a very strange and kind of insensitive question to ask.
Spyro: Believe me, I didn't mean it that way.
Cynder: I know you didn't but that's still how it came off. Though to answer it, I'll be ready, when I'm ready.
Spyro: (Sighs) Okay.
Cynder: Remind me again what it is I saw in you?

And that wraps up our introduction to Frontier Village. I don't know why, but Spyro seems like the sort of guy who would drop everything and move back home to help his parents if their health started to decline. So, who's our first character to chat with in Riki's hometown? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
