Alastor was concerned for why Selena had left and was pacing all day. He stayed in his radio tower to keep the others from noticing how she affected him. Regardless, he paced and constantly brushed his hands through his mane. He would fiddle with his fingers and hum trying to ease his worry. He wouldn't be so worried if he could keep his shadow on her, but the last time that pissed her off. So he let it be.

He then heard her voice from the lobby where he kept a shadowy minion or two around to inform him if they had any new guests. Before he realized it, he had appeared near the bar acting seemingly cool. As if he hadn't been worried all morning.

At least he felt cool, until he noticed she had brought a man who seemed to be hellbent on staying at her side. He scarcely noticed the other demons gathered behind the two of them.

Selena explained how he was a friend and to get the hotel going a small portion of his community volunteered to be redeemed.

"So, handsome, how long ya known Foxy there?" Angel turned his flirting on.

"Mmm. I'd guess I'd say a couple thousand or so years." The demon seemed to be thinking on whether to further his answer.

"Angel, this is Zelen. Zelen, Angel Dust." Selena seemed to never fail remembering her manners when amongst friends. Zelen then began to introduce the other demons, and they named each of their sins.

Selena sneakily walked towards Al. "Everything okay, Alastor?" She kept her voice low so as to not alert the others of his possible mood. "You look like you've been through the ringer today. It's almost noon."

"How could you tell?" He whispered back. It was so out of character for the deer demon.

"Easy. Your grin. It isn't normal. It may seem that way to others, but it isn't sitting on your face right today." They continued the conversation until Zelen noticed.

"Hey, Selena, everything good?"

"Yeah. Zelen. Everything's good. Just giving Al here a couple warnings to not eat our new guests."

"Al? You mean he's Alastor the Radio Demon?"

"The one and the same, my good fellow!" Alastor stepped forward with his grin wide and his hand out. They shook hands but there seemed to be a tangible tension between them.

"I admit. I am a fan of your work." Zelen's grip on Al's hand grew tighter.

"I wish I had seen yours so I could say the same." Al returned the grip.

"Glad you two are getting along! Now Al, let's get everyone settled." Selena sensed the tension and knew she had to end it quickly. She grabbed his arm and gave a slight tug.

"My apologies, good man. Work awaits!" Al turned away and followed Selena to the concierge desk and got keys. "Everyone line up! We will need your names again for the books." Selena passed out the keys while Alastor used his impeccable handwriting to place each guest in their designated room. He tried to not do it, but he was watching the newcomer who seemed to have already been in Selena's life long before him. After the line was done, Selena left his side much to his chagrin.

"Zelen, Charlie, Al, I think we all need to talk." Selena motioned for them all to follow her. They all entered the office. "Zelen is Veridian of the Reapers." She said once she knew they were out of ear's reach. "And now apparently, the leader of the Redemption Rebellion."

"Wait. Redemption Rebellion?" Charlie asked.

"To put it simply, the rebellion believes they can be redeemed and want to get out of Hell. As a servant of your father, Princess, I joined their ranks to shatter them from the inside. However, I grew to like the company near me and knew that I had to help them in whatever way I could. Selena approached me. Asking to use the rebellion to redeem them for her own selfish purposes. Selfish my ass, Selena." He rolled his eyes at her. Now Alastor understood their bond. They were comrades on the battlefield. But he couldn't shake his unease at this gentleman's presence.

"Wait! Some demons want to be redeemed?" Charlie asked the question he was thinking. "I'm not going to be pulling teeth anymore to get people in the Happy Hotel?"

"Hopefully not, Charlie." Selena gave her a bright smile and touched the young demoness's cheek. Charlie began her squeal of joy and rubbed her cheeks as she often did when she was excited. "Now, Zelen, did you want to be part of the hotel staff?" Selena was asking the big question now.

"Nah. But I'll definitely be hanging around and advertising in my tiny territory in Wrath." He walked up to Selena and gave her two kisses on the cheek. Alastor internally seethed at the display. "See ya, Crimson," and vanished into a green smoke.
