Ravi and Kurtis walked together in the cafeteria talking about the fate of Ravi's camera.
"Listen, I'm sorry I couldn't get the camera to work." said Ravi feeling guilty.
"Man look, don't worry about it! It ain't your fault! You didn't do nothing wrong!" said Kurtis.
They walked halfway to the bully table until Kurtis decided to take action.
Kurtis pointed at Bradley and said, "It's time for somebody to put this fool back in his place! And the time is now!" He put his drink down on Ravi's tray and approached the table further.
Ravi stood there and watched Kurtis.
"Eh yo Bradley! Lemme holla at you real quick!" he said.
Bradley heard Kurtis call him. He turned around, got up from his seat and met Kurtis halfway. "What's up?"
"Look man, you need to leave my boy alone! He told me you broke his camera!" Kurtis exposed.
Not being affected by the truth, Bradley responded with, "Oh yeah? What are you gonna do about it?"
"Lemme show you punk!" Kurtis balled up his fist and socked him.
Immediately the entire cafeteria erupted in yells and cheers. All the students got out of their seats to watch the boys duke it out.
While the chaos broke loose, Ravi stood there and watched in amazement. He never had anyone fight for him before. He had to admit, he was impressed with Kurtis' loyalty to him. He would remember that for the rest of his life.
