At home, Jack was in his parents' garage with a tank and bag in each of his hands. He came outside the garage and saw his dad working on his truck. Before he left, Jack needed to talk to him one last time. "Can I help you with anything dad?" He put down the equipment he had in his hands. "Dad listen...I...I left a letter in my room explaining everything. You don't have to worry about me anymore. I'll be ok. I know you'll be mad but...I did what I thought was best." Jack watched his dad work on his truck without responding to him which was really sad. That truly broke his heart but he had to move on with his life. So Jack concluded with, "Anyway, I know you and mom will be fine together. I know you guys will take care of each other and uh...yeah! Goodbye dad!" Jack picked up his equipment and walked away after his final farewell.
