Chapter 4
Weeks Later
The room that would become the nursery was picked out. So far that's all Haley had decided.
She scanned the room slowly. Her hand on her now 12th week baby bump.
"Crib. Rocking chair. Changing table. What else are you thinking of adding in baby girl.?" Jimmy asked. Looking to his daughter.
"This is more then enough for now dad. I'll let you know if i need anything else put together. I really appreciate you and mom coming by." Haley replied.
"Where else would we be.? Come into the living room. I made ginger tea. We are in need of catching up." Lydia stated matter of fact. As she entered the room.
The couple had been traveling around the world for the past couple of months.
Haley only recently revealed her pregnancy to them. Which is what brought them back to Tree Hill.

Haley sat down beside her mother. Smiling up at her. When she saw the tray of food on the coffee table.
"Becoming a mother will change you're life in ways. You won't realize until he or she is here. It's a kind of love and consuming protection you cannot imagine."
"Are you sure you want to do this alone.? You're father and I worry about you taking on more then you can handle." Lydia admitted.
"I'm far from alone. I have my friends. Everything will work out."
"You and dad just be prepared to become grandparents. That's all i want the two of you to do." Lydia replied.

Days Later
"Some sun. The water. And a basically empty beach."
"I could get used to starting the morning this way." Haley said.
Nathan smiled looking over at her.
"I thought why not enjoy this cloud less sky and warm weather with Haley. I've been thinking about you alot actually." Nathan admitted.
"Thinking about me in what way.? I don't think i want to know what you mean by that." Haley replied.
"I don't just want to be more involved with the baby. I want to be more of a presence in you're life." Nathan confessed.
