Chapter 02 – Confession and New Regime

Percy PoV

Nervous. Scared. Those were the emotions that coursed through me as I approached my Mom to tell her about my heritage. Silently, I walked to her hoping for the best and preparing for the worst.

"Mom," I whispered, "We need to talk."

She immediately recognized the face I was making and rushed over. At once, she urged me to tell her the problem that was concerning me.

"Mom I know who my dad is. It's Poseidon isn't it?"

Her faced turned a ghostly pale as uttered, "You know? When did you get to know? How did you know?"

"Mom it's alright. I just thought I should I could tell you so I can develop my powers, learn to defend myself, kick Gabe OUT of this house forever and read up on Ancient Greek Mythology." I replied calmly.

"No No Percy you don't understand! He covers your scent so that monsters can't find you! He's the only reason your alive till now!" she said panicking.

"Fine I won't remove him. But if I discover a way to mask my demigod scent then I most certainly will. Deal?" I asked hoping she would accept.

"Deal." She said as she sighed in relief.

Later in the day, I made a timetable on what I would do everyday. And here it is!

8:00 – 9:00 Exercise

9:00 – 9:10 Breakfast

9:20 – 4:30 School

4:30 – 6:30 Practice powers

6:30 – 7:30 Read up on Greek Myths

7:30 – 8:30 Physical Training

8:30 – 9:00 Evening Walk

9:00 Sleepy Time!

And this was my summer holiday plan!

9:00 – 10:00 Exercise

10:00 – 10:10 Brekky

9:10 – 12:00 Practice powers

12:00 – 12:20 Lonch

12:20 – 1:30 Take a chill pill

1:30 – 3:30 Read up on Greek Mythology

3:30 – 5:00 Physical Training

5:00 – 7:00 MORE READING

7:00 – 8:00 Evening Exercise

8:00 – 8:30 Evening Walk

8:30 – 9:00 Sleepy Time

I showed this to my Mom, and she said it was acceptable but if I wasn't back before 8:00 pm she would ground me for a month *shivers*. Sometimes my Mom really is scary.

That night I fell asleep more relaxed than ever because I knew my whole life was going to change from that day onwards.
