Chapter 03: Training and Encounter
Third Person Pov
Percy sweated profusely as he tried to make a 3 water spears in a nearby forest. It had been four days since he had made the regime and let's say the results were absolutely astounding. His control over water by far his best attribute he could probably make a 10ft tall wave at best. He could make 2 ice spears and to some extent control. But that was if there was already pre-existing ice. Air control was Percy's was second strongest power. He could easily make 5 mph winds to disorientate the enemy. Apart from that he could make one wind sword that could cut the enemy. However, his most destructive (and weakest) ability was his earth control. He couldn't control the earth rather he would just shake it. At best he could make a tremor to make the enemy fall. Now, onto his studies. He could pretty much recall 20 Greek monsters and was working on learning their weaknesses and how to defeat them. Decent at best.
1 hour later…
Percy jogged home as he splashed some water on himself. He found since he was the son of Poseidon water healed him and made him feel rejuvenated. Humming, he walked through the picturesque scenery that was nature. Suddenly, he heard loud screams coming from nearby. As fast as lightning, he dashed towards the sound.
He arrived at the scene saw a cyclops terrorizing a poor girl that had wandered into the forest. Percy hid behind a bush and thought of a plan. He also noticed that the girl was shouting bear instead of cyclops. That's weird. I'll see why that is later. Ok so there is a pond nearby so that's great. I'll lure him near the pond and I'll immediately jump in which will give me a power boost. Then once I have got him in the pond, I'll trap him in a water dome that will suffocate him.
Percy breathed in deeply as he set his plan into action.
"Hey!" Percy shouted, "Come here you one-eyed buffoon!"
Roaring, the cyclops turned its attention to him and chased him. Since he was faster it was easy to run away. As soon as he sighted the pond, he jumped in it and taunted the cyclops more.
"Come here you fat piece of meat!"
Enraged, it lumbered towards me and I quickly drew the water and made a dome. After 10 minutes I let go, exhausted. The little girl from before came to me and said, "Thank you for saving me from the bear Mister."
"Your welcome." I replied tiredly.
I led her back to her parents and then I went back home and started snoring for evermore.
