Chapter 936.
"A moment before the elders head off."
(September 3. The Loud House.)
The morning looks good, and everyone is ready to spend a day, a momentous day with the eldest of the family, Lori and Leni Loud. The family are all headed to the vehicles outside, and are prepared for what they have planned with them, though Lori and Leni might already know what it is.
Lincoln is among the others looking forward to what this day has, and he checks his cellphone and sees the text message from Jordan.
Jordan – Hope you guys have fun today. I know Lori and Leni will love the day you all have planned with them, but I look forward to spending the day with you and Luna, when tomorrow comes.
Lincoln smiles. 'Same here, my love. Same here.' He then hears Lily call out to him to come out, and so he does and then he is joined by his big sister, and soon to be former roommate, Luna, and she seems excited for this day. Lincoln is about to follow, but then he stops and looks at something else.
"Come on, bro. Time to go and spend some time with the older sisters, before they head off when tomorrow comes." she then looks to her brother, and Lincoln looks to the photos on the wall in the Living Room and Luna looks to them as well, and they see their family, from back then when they all lived under the same roof.
"A lot has changed, and... We have grown, and learned a lot to deal with, for our future, huh sis?" they see a photo of when Lori and Leni were still in High School and when Linc was still in Grade School, and sees the other photo of all of them, but older and two who don't reside in the Loud House anymore.
Luna sighs, and she nods. "Yeah, sure has." She then places a hand on her brother's shoulder. "We all have come so far, and have understood that we have our own lives to handle, and a bright future ahead of us, and away from the mistakes we have made in the past, though truth be told it is I who have done something, which I wanna try and rekindle, and that is the bond we had back then, little brother."
Lincoln then looks towards his sister. "Even though our bond was severed after the summer of seventh grade for you, it was all good Luna. I have come to learn to love all of my sisters, despite the issues we have, which don't seem that well to go with for me. I have understood how well things have gone, and learned to tolerate everything we tend to do. That is how things are, and we all love each other."
Luna nods, and she is proud at how her brother has grown up, then Lola opens the door. "Guys, come on. We should get going now, and where the heck are Lori and Leni?"
Upstairs, we see Lori and Leni both looking to the room from which they were once roommates, and now the room for Luan, and they take a moment and recall the times they had here, and learned to appreciate each other, despite some of the issues they have had, which involves what they share or some other stuff. The two have their stuff all packed up, and waiting at the garage for when they are ready to take their leave after this day ends.
"Dang, never knew that this room, the very same room which we were given back when we were first roommates held so many awesome memories" replied Leni. "Totes good, and wicked awesome memories, huh sis?"
Lori nods. "Yeah, kinda does. We literally have had the best of times, and though we also have had some troubling moments, it wouldn't have stopped us from being, the best of friends. We were best friends, long ago way before we even met the others who would become our friends."
Leni nods. "And we have grown so far, and learned so much from change and understanding how we could become something more. I was once a girl who was an air head and not always the sharpest tool in the shed. But now, I have learned so much, and understood my mistakes and have become a strong person, someone who would be responsible and prepare for what I wanna see in the future, and with the man whom I love."
Lori chuckles, and she understands. "Yeah, same here. I wasn't always there, and would just either be on my phone or just care for the boy I love so much. But things have changed, and I have managed to see my errors and try to undo them, and be the big sister I was meant to be. It feels nice, and I think we can literally thank two kids from back then, who started this change, and helped our families, and prepare us for whatever happens next."
Leni knows that Lori is talking about Lincoln and Jordan, and the day they met, and ignited the Sparking Relationship within them, just then Lynn calls out. "Lori, Leni! Come on, we got an awesome day to spend with you two today!"
Lori and Leni chuckle hearing this, and so they take their leave from their former room, and head off to spend time with their beloved family, and ready for what day they have to enjoy, before heading off once again.
(The Royal Woods Mall.)
We now see the whole family are here, and they go around the Mall, and spending time with Lori and Leni, and though they did spend some time with them around the mall, some of them head off to spend time with what they love the most.
Lynn Sr is at the cooking and kitchen utilities store, Rita and Lucy are in the book store, Lynn Jr is at the sportswear and she meets up with Taylor, Margo and Annabelle, Lily and Lisa are watched over by Michelle as they go to the toy store, along with Lana and Lola, and Luan has met up with Benny to talk about what they have planned, when they head for theater club, as seniors.
So, where are Lori and Leni Loud? Well, Gryphon's Shopping, and they are joined by Lincoln, Luna and Jordan Rosato who was already there, and they are going through some clothing, and some other stuff that they wanna try out, and Lori and Leni have tried a lot of clothing, and now they have bought them, and now they are helping Lincoln and Luna and Jordan out with what they wanna wear.
"So, we're gonna be wearing something a whole lot different, something that would make us stand out and be more than what we were before from the usual clothes" replied Lincoln. "This is gonna be fun, and I already have found something I like."
Jordan chuckles. "Same, this is so gonna be the eye catcher to everyone." Lincoln and Jordan then head off to see if they can find anything else to try on, and then see if they should buy it, and then Jordan thinks of something. 'Perhaps I can get something nice for Leslie to wear, something that would look good on her. Yet, we still gotta be there for Leslie, since she still has her precious bundle of joy with her.'
As Lincoln and Jordan are off checking out the clothes here, Luna, Lori and Leni are waiting, and then Luna speaks. "Lori, Leni. I am happy at where you two are now, and how things have changed into something better, for the advanced education in college, and I intend to try my hardest and see how things will go for me and Sam when we go to college, and to think... How far have we come, from when the days we have become more responsible."
Leni chuckles. "Yeah, we know and all thanks to... Well, them." They look towards Lincoln and Jordan, and the way they are teasing each other, is adorable to them and then Lori speaks.
"Luna, we are sorry for not being the responsible sisters when things have turned, into something else on our journey to change. We could've done more, and it seems too late to try to make things right, but all we can do now is show that we can be responsible to the future far ahead of us."
Luna nods, and they continue to watch Lincoln and Jordan be themselves, as a young High School couple. "Yeah, that does sound like something. Can't turn back the clock and can't moonwalk to undo mistakes. All we can do, are to make sure that nothing bad goes as our future prepares for what we have in store, and for what the others can be able to give." Words like that, make Lori and Leni happy, now they see where Lincoln may have gotten his words of speech which seem like motivation, and inspiration. They all continue this time to spend together, before they say goodbye to Lori and Leni once again.
(The Loud House, Night Time.)
The afternoon is here, and we see Lori Loud, and Leni Loud, and at their vehicles too, and they are packed up and ready and Leni looks to Lori, and she is embracing her father, Lynn Sr, and then Leni joins in. "Oh, my baby birds are gonna be heading off once again, this is just..." they can tell that he is going to weep a river through this.
They then depart from the hug. Leni then speaks. "We're going to miss you dad, we really will and we had a lot of fun together, but this is not a goodbye forever, we're just headed to college and we're just one call away." This makes Luna chuckle, that was a song reference.
Lori then speaks. "It does hurt when we gotta leave, but this is how things have to be. Leni and I literally have our own things to do, and it will take two or three more years before... Before I do have my own choice, and future. We will always be here, and we will always be family."
Lynn Sr nods, and he can already imagine the future Lori and Leni will have. Leni with the Logann's, and he knows she would wanna go where Kurt is, which is Sweet Water Valley Ranch in Tennessee, and Lori with Bobby at Great Lakes City, and he knows that she doesn't want a big family anymore, and he is alright with that.
Lori and Leni then go over and they embrace the rest of their siblings, and their mom, and even Taylor and Michelle. "We're gonna miss you guys too" replied Lori. "But we will literally be back, when the holidays show up. Though, Halloween might not be a possibility since I wanna spend that with Bobby."
Leni then speaks. "But I will be there, and also someone else wants to tag along and enjoy trick or treating here, and spoiler alert, it is totes Kurt's little sister. But, we promise to return, when the other holidays kick in, and perhaps have a large family gathering for an awesome Thanksgiving."
They all liked the sound of that, and they were all going to miss Lori and Leni. Then they look towards Luna, and she nods. They understand, that things have changed, and made everything into something that would make them all responsible, and though they cannot reclaim the moments they have lost to be the best of older sisters, they are happy to try and change, and spend time with those they love. They are also proud, that Luna has advanced, and tomorrow is headed to where she needs to be, along with her girlfriend.
Then the duo look towards Lincoln and Jordan, and they embrace the duo. Lincoln smiles as he embraces his older sisters. "See you guys next time, and good luck with your college. You two are going to accomplish a lot as time goes on."
Then Jordan speaks as she embraces them. "And we look forward to when you guys come back, to spend time with all of us." Hearing those words makes Lori and Leni happy, and they too look forward to how the future will be, for all of them.
They then depart from the hug, and they all watch as Lori and Leni head to their respective rides, and then they lower their windows and look to the others, and they all wave to the two grown loud sisters, and they wave back. They all then watch as Lori and Leni drive off, and headed to return to their college life, and deep down Lincoln looks forward to seeing them again, and perhaps seeing the day when Lori accomplishes what she has sought out, and start her own family.
Luna looks to her brother, and Jordan, as they hold hands and she smiles. 'Tomorrow... Tomorrow things change, and we go our own paths.'

A/N: Glad that they all got the chance to spend some more time with Lori and Leni before they return back to their own college, and tomorrow... Lincoln Loud and Luna Loud spend some time, before the time comes for her to go. I hope you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
