Kuri hovered around Deku's head. "Are you sure this is ok? Why would they want ME?"

Deku laughed. "Cuz you're awesome."

"I'm not a hero Deku."

He pulled her down to his level. "And I say you are. Calm down." He put his hand on her wings.

It was funny how seeing her like this calmed his own nerves. There wasn't any trouble really now that they were together.

Deku smiled at her. She was the one who made him a hero, after all.

The two entered the arena. The exam was about to begin.

"Are you nervous Katsu?" Reiko asked, voice quavering.

"No way," Bakugo grinned. "You shouldn't be either, Kit. You rock!"

Reiko relaxed a little bit. "Just don't take all the points. Leave a lil bit for me."

"We don't really know how that'll work." Bakugo grinned. "But I know you won't have trouble gettin yer own points!"

He slapped her on the back and went inside.

It must be nice having that kind of self confidence, Reiko sighed.

Kuri and Reiko looked up, intimidated, at the huge robots.

Reiko tossed Kitsunebi at them and took off in the other direction. "Eat my fox fire!"

Kuri flew up, assessing them. "HEAVENLY BARRAGE!" She hit them with a bunch of feathers like arrows.

Then she returned to Deku's side. Things were not looking well. She kept the robots from hurting him, but otherwise stayed out of his way and let him do his thing.

Somehow…this would work out. It had to.

She flew into the air—and got slapped out of it.

Kuri felt herself break, and fall—into Deku's arms.

The robot was coming. It was HUGE.

And then, just like that…it was gone…defeated. By Deku.

Kuri smiled weakly at him. "Look at us. We're a mess. But…you saved me again, Deku."

Bakugo watched, glowering.

Reiko pulled on his arm, trying to get him to turn away.

Little explosions going off in his palm, he turned away.

Reiko looked up at him, and he remembered that he had something Deku would never have.

A treasure.

Bakugo kissed Reiko on the cheek. "Lets get outta here. Away from that damn nerd."

He grimaced a bit, but saw her face, and smiled again.

Yeah, he had a treasure.
