Chapter IV - Fatal Arrogance

Sasuke, Satsuki, and Yakumo began to run around the training ground, Sasuke was ahead of them by several feet as he made to run, but Satsuki settled for a light jog to keep Yakumo in view, her face twisted in confusion and growing dismay over Naruko's words.

Satsuki slowed down a bit until, she was neck and neck with Yakumo, "Don't worry about it, Yakumo. You know how bitchy Naruko is."

"I do, but, I really do want to be friends with her in time."

Satsuki huffed, "Well, you're nicer than me."

Yakumo cracked a hint of a smile, "You want her as a rival, don't you?"

She flushed in response, "Wha-"

"It's really obvious, you know. Both you and your brother want her as a rival. No one has beaten her in the Academy and she was barely trying. And what she did to Obito-sensei is a key example of her fighting prowess."

A sigh escaped her, "Yeah, I do. Every spar in the Academy, she always won with the barest amount of effort, I want to know her secrets, I want to grow stronger to the point that I can beat her and she sees me as a rival."

Yakumo raised two fingers that Satsuki took and interlocked with her own, "Then it's a promise. We will get stronger and then we will force Naruko to acknowledge us."

"As genin-in-arms and true friends."

Satsuki nodded, "Come on. Let's speed up, let's see if you can complete the next two laps at a faster speed with me in your sight."

They removed their interlocked fingers as Yakumo grinned, "You're on."

Satsuki then sped up as Yakumo made to catch up with her, but as she watched Satsuki's back, she recalled the sneer Naruko looked at her with.

'I know I wasn't too nice to you, but I'll make it up and I hope we can be friends in the future.'

Meanwhile, Sasuke heard snippets of their conversation after he finished with his own laps and made to rest against the tree trunk for a short reprieve, the thought of Naruko made his heart speed up, but at the same time made his head swell with rage. Every defeat against her made his teeth ache in dismay. He took note of her when she first came up to him and asked to be his friend. He came to regret those words all too well when he told her that. He thought that she would be like the fangirls he heard horror stories about, but as he looked back, he saw she only had honest intentions. Her blue eyes turned ice-cold, then and there, she sneered at his attempt of mocking her and left, when he tried to save face about her grace over being rejected, she punched him in the face, and she was punished because she refused to apologize and that was that.

Ever since then, he had her in his sights, he knew she offered her hand of friendship to others, only to be rejected either harshly for popularity or not to get outcasted. She only ever tried once and that was that. Another thing was the pranks, but no matter what was done she didn't freak out or curse. She just took it silently. Most thought she was too cowardly, but that was soon rectified when they tried to beat her, physically, so they stuck with verbal words and pranks from a distance. All it did was make her colder, harsher, and stronger.

Iruka was probably the only one in the village who knew her, personally, he couldn't ask him because Naruko probably voiced her disdain for him, and he would respect her wishes to keep her life private from anyone else. He tried to form a rivalry in hopes it would make up for his screw-up, but all it did was leave him in shock and pain, no matter where, with an audience or alone, Naruko always won their matches without even trying. On certain days she would disappear and return covered in bandages, her fingers and hands were wrapped tightly by them, and the scent of anti-infection and numbing cream was hidden by her usual scent of pomegranate and black cherries.

'Just what could you be doing on your own that makes you so far ahead of everyone else, so far ahead of me?'

"-Sasuke, Sasuke?!"

His head snapped up, "What?"

Yakumo came over, "Kakashi-sensei's back. He's gonna tell us what to do."

"Hn."

He stood up, brushed himself off, and walked with the three, where Kakashi was sitting on top of a training log with Sakura sitting at the bottom of the log, still unable to speak.

He clapped his hands, "Alright. Now, let's improve our teamwork, shall we?"

As they practiced going through the motions, Kakashi's mind was still on the sneering face of Naruko and her refusal to admit her wrongdoings. He still recalled when he first tried to take her out of her cell when she was apprehended for beating up a civilian at the age of 8.

He walked up to her cell, she was leaning against the corner of the room, where she had an unobstructed view of the wall and the area of the small cell she was placed in. Her clothes were baggy, her camo green pants had rips and tears in them, and she was wearing a stitched-up purple hoodie that had seen more than its' fair share of abuse with black sneakers.

Kakashi stared at her for a moment, he knew that she was already aware of his presence and could feel her annoyance at him appearing before her.

He said, "Are you willing to apologize to the civilian you hurt?"

A cold voice that didn't belong to an 8-year-old girl replied in turn, "The sun will turn black and crumble before I apologize to that disgusting pig."

He shook his head, "I can leave you in here for another week, Naruko. Your behavior is unbecoming of your status as Minato's daughter."

"Then leave me in here for another week, then. Now, are you done? I'm sure you are just dying to hang around your favorite brother and sister. Leave the scum to the Namikaze name to the shadows and muck where she belongs."

Kakashi slammed a hand against the bars, "It wouldn't be like this if you stopped attacking civilians for your own enjoyment."

A tired chuckle left her, "That's what you think, Kakashi? That I beat up civilians for my own enjoyment? You're pathetic. You are as pathetic as the rest of them. Leave and tell your favorites, they won't have their pranking dummy. Leave and tell your adoptive mother that she won't have to see her disappointment in the corner of her eye at all for another week. Tell your dear adoptive beloved father, he won't need to deal with the slight on his name for at least another week, unless you wish to stretch it to a month?"

"You are going to rot alone in here, is that what you want?!"

"It's better than being out there, I don't want your help nor anything from you. You think I'm this troubled girl who is just acting out for attention, but here's the thing that's not the case, not that a dumbass like you could figure it out. Your usual catchphrase is to "look underneath the underneath," yet you can't see the obvious because of your favorites. No matter, it doesn't matter. Leave and don't return. Not having to see that face or hear your voice was actually pleasing and I'd like to have that joy back now."

Kakashi could only storm away in fury as Naruko's sentence was extended to two weeks for what she said. Once it was finished, he waited outside to confront her, only for her to exit and leave the building in a different way and disappear.

Ever since then Naruko refused to respond to him, she treated him with dislike which then turned to apathy with hints of annoyance, he swore he would make her a proper kunoichi and then fix her mindset.

He felt eyes on him as he lowered his book, "Ah, you finished? Good. Now, let's get some D-ranks."

As they walked to the Hokage Tower, Sakura was subdued from getting paralyzed with a senbon, Yakumo made to walk beside her, "Hey, Sakura. How are you feeling?"

She cleared her throat, responding with her voice being much softer, "I'm fine. It hasn't worn off, entirely yet. I'll probably be speaking like this for a couple of days. Her senbon was too close to muting me permanently."

Sasuke added that to another thing about Naruko, 'There's no way in hell that was by chance. She did it while she was laying on a tree branch and Sakura's neck was covered by her long hair. It was timed and precise. Just what have you hidden from all of us?'

[Hokage's Office]

Kakashi knocked.

"Who is it?"

"Jounin Kakashi with Team 7."

"Come in."

As they came in, Minato looked at them, "So, D-ranks? And one of you is missing, Naruko?"

Satsuki crossed her arms, "She up and left after telling us to piss off."

Yakumo sighed, "She struck Sakura with a senbon that paralyzed her and she can only speak in softer tones now."

Minato felt a dark corner of his mind whisper, 'Can she do that to her mother too?'

He pushed the dark thought away but made a mental note to check a hospital record to find out where that point was.

"I see, we will be having a talk with her tomorrow."

"Do you know where she went?"

"She went to do 20 D-ranks this morning. She wanted to keep herself occupied."

Satsuki ran a hand through her hair, "Maybe we will see her as we are doing them."

"Let's hope for that."

"So, what do you got for us today, sensei?"

"Well, from what is left, there is babysitting the triplets, painting fences, cleaning the Inzukua pound along with several of their dogs, delivering groceries, and-"

"Tora! No! Come back!"

"Bring back Tora the cat."

Satsuki and Sasuke winced as they heard horror stories about that damn cat, before Kakashi cheerfully replied, "We will take all of them."

Several groans spilled from the two teams as Kakashi gestured for them to go wait downstairs.

"You have something you want to say, Kakashi? Is it pertaining to my daughter?"

"Yes."

"Then you will have to hold out until tomorrow, I plan on having a meeting with the council, Elders along with the rest of the recent graduating class over her behavior and what is to be done next. So please wait until tomorrow morning at nine o'clock sharp."

"Yes, Lord Hokage."

He then vanished to meet up with his team, allowing Minato to be with his thoughts, this continued, well after Itachi reported his findings to him, he used the Third's telescope jutsu to wait for Naruko to return back and report and collect her earnings for her completed missions. She double-checked, reassured everything was there, and then left, returning home.

He shut off the jutsu as he held his head in his hands, "Oh Naruko, what have I done?"

[11:57 PM - Undisclosed Area]

A man who stood at 5'11 was wearing the standard jounin uniform with a patch of the civilian council on their left arm, signaling their alliance to them, as a plus for siding with them, they were given certain luxuries, their staple brand new jounin vest was a glaring testament of that fact. However, the cons outweighed the pros as they were considered sell-outs towards their creed in serving the Hokage and protecting the village and were rightfully outcasted.

His face was nothing to commit to memory, but with only notable distinction was the feeling that rolled off him in waves. He was nothing more than a low-ranking jounin who got his jacket from stealing the accomplishments from his dead teammates and his ex-teacher, if he could call that old cow a teacher, but she was too incapacitated to make any complaints about his ranking.

All his relationships were practically nill, he had at most, three acquaintances, and relationships of the romantic variety were scarce with a large distance between each one. Every single one of his romantic partners was a pretty civilian woman, each one had their own quirks, but they were all good souls. Each one that longed to see the goodness in him, only to end up in pieces at the bottom of the dumpster in the meat market, it was so easy to hide the skinned body parts as pieces of spoiled meat. It took a long time to make a proper brew to disguise them from the Inuzuka dogs.

Regardless, it wasn't his fault that he had to kill them, you see, they just happened to be upset with him and he doesn't do...upset.

Ever since he first started killing off his romantic partners, he was always craving something new, that's when he found his tastes to turn towards younger women until he started to work on girls, then one day while he was taking a walk, to find something to entertain himself, he saw her...Naruko Uzumaki Namikaze, the delinquent brat of the Fourth Hokage.

She was dainty and skinny, protected from the elements by her baggy clothes and hoodies, she was beautiful, a perfect mixture of Minato and Kushina, the woman that had been in many of his wet dreams. He knew through the rumor mill, that Naruko beat up civilians. At first, he wanted to snatch her up and give her his own special brand of care, but he scrubbed that idea from when he saw the brutal aftermath of her fights. Even if she was the weakest of the three children attacking her wouldn't go as well as he wanted.

Well, that was before he was brought before the civilian council who made a perfect plan to finally get rid of Naruko for good. The plan was insane, it was well-thought-out...for civilians, he could give them that, but it left them open for retaliation from Minato once midnight has passed, but it wasn't his job to save them from their own stupidity. He was just in it for the benefits, nothing more.

Using the First's Wish which granted the civilian council one wish within a certain threshold of various reasons and had consequences if their wish caused damage to any number of things so proceed with caution. They managed to get it approved under the authority of the Elders, as Danzo planned on having his ROOT ninja attack her at dawn, but the civilians brought in various individuals who had a bone to pick, and much to their surprise and delight, they found many who did and took them up on their reward.

It was a hassle to gather up so much money, under the nose of the Hokage and his associates but they need to make it appetizing for those degenerates to get rid of the thorn in their side once and for all.

To them, it would be money well spent. They imagined that Minato would have been cross with them at first, but he would soon get over it and reward them for removing the stain on his name.

It didn't matter at all to him, all he wanted was her broken, battered body underneath him. He didn't care if she was a limbless, headless corpse by the time they were done picking her off. He would take her remains and keep her with him for as long as he remained alive.

Soon enough, he arrived at his current destination, several miles away from Konoha in the dead of night, he rapped his fist against the door.

A droll tone muttered, "Who is it?"

The jounin spat in an acid-laced tone, "You damn well know who. Open it."

The door opened and he slipped inside, finding a plethora of men and women of various ages standing before him, some glanced at him, others didn't acknowledge him at all, but he could feel multiple eyes boring into him. Some were cannon fodder, but many of them unnerved him much to his disgust over the feeling.

However, out of the group surrounding him, there were nine that set his teeth on edge.

Leonardo De Vil

Crimes: Snuff-filming, Enslavement, Torture & Exploitation of Children (rumored), Experimentation and Creation of Child soldiers (rumored), Association with illegal Death Matches (suspected), Affiliation with the traitorous sannin Orochimaru (suspected), money laundering, and various sexual deviances.

Bounty: 93,000,000

The first one that caught his eye was an older man in a suit, he was somewhat portly with thick, bulky arms and legs. His face was twisted into a smile, dark slate gray eyes with dark gray bushy brows with a matching goatee and mustache, his skin was tan and weathered from years of hard labor, and he had laugh lines from years of bloodthirsty, shit-eating grins. In his right hand were 5 chains on a leash which had 3 boys and 2 girls connected to the chain through a red collar, they had a dead-eyed submissive look about them. They wore their battlesuits with his signature brand peony on their back and dominant arm. They were his best fighters from the death matches, he reared himself, but when he first saw Naruko when she arrived in the arena, he thought she was nothing more than dead flesh, but when she won, even though she was half-dead from starvation he felt the burning desire to have her. However, that fucking wretched bastard got to her first as he was the only one to bet that she would survive and win. The winnings he got were something he drooled over and he never won that much money in one sitting. He personally swore once she lost, she would pay him three times that debt with interest or he would crush her with the best of his toys if she refused to heed him.

He was sitting in a high-backed chair, sipping wine as his five pets were tending to his every need.

Tanaka (no surname)

Crimes: Prostitution, Enslavement, Imprisonment, Torture, Rape, and annihilation of several shipping towns, causing hundreds of deaths (suspected).

Relations - Sister (Saiaku)

Tanaka was tall and lanky, his body was disproportionate and twisted from years of apparent starvation, his skin was tinged green and pale, his eyes were different colors, his right eye had red sclera with a white, blank iris, and his left eye had yellow sclera with a dark green slitted pupil. His hair was dark and greasy-looking, pulled up in a red string with several strands framing his face. His teeth were uneven and sharpened to a point. His face was twisted into an uncomfortable grimace as if being here instead of being asleep or counting his money was nothing more than a pain. He was wearing a pair of baggy black pants and an open, worn-out jacket. His unique choice of weapons was a pair of poison-laced sickles.

He was leaning against the wall with his sister who was blowing bubbles with her gum, as he sneered and growled at those who glanced at them for too long.

Saiaku (no surname)

Crimes: Prostitution, Enslavement, Imprisonment, Torture, Rape via Proxy, and annihilation of several shipping towns, causing hundreds of deaths (suspected).

Bounty: 14,500,000

She stood at 5'6" with long silver-blonde hair that was pulled up with a pair of flower pins, she was wearing a black and fuchsia battle kimono with matching stockings and dark battle heels. She had deep green eyes with pale skin, and some parts of her body were marked with a few scars that her brother helped her brutally reap flesh from those who were stupid enough to do so. She had a beauty mark on the lower right part of her jaw with matching dimples that came out whenever she did her fake sweet as a sunshine smile that always helped her as a high-class prostitute.

Saiaku was the practical antithesis of her name, which was given to her by her late bitch of a mother who was a sick whore of a bandit town that was tossed on the edge of the town to die as they had neither the resources nor the capacity of empathy to tend to her. Her brother, Tanaka saved her and protected her from being drowned and chased away that bitch. When she was old enough, they both took their pounds of flesh from her when they hunted her down and then they burned down that accursed town and looted what remained. Why should everyone else be happy when they're miserable, they'll repay the world 10-fold for their unheeded sorrows, after all, it was only fair.

Hemlock (true name cast away)

He is well-built and toned with lightly tanned skin, his hair is a dark brown that boarded on black, his hair was in a constant spiky bedhead, and his face was set in an almost permanent bored scowl as his hand was placed on his sheathed blade. His eyes were the most unique part about him, they were orange but as they went toward the edge of the iris they turned red. He had the ability to freeze opponents when looking at them.

He was sitting on a ledge, drumming his fingers against the hilt of his sword, just waiting.

'Monster' Aramaki (unknown true name)

Crimes: Mass Murder, Cannibalism (confirmed), Imprisonment, Experimentation, Mutilation, Slave-trading, poisoning of an entire rural town (unconfirmed/suspected).

He had arm guards and knee protectors. He had dark gray eyes with a lazy sadistic grin set on his face, he had a battle ax that was turned into a guitar as he stretched out his fingers in anticipation over his next target. He licked his lips and he pondered about her abilities, whether or not she inherited them, her blood must have it.

He was driven by instinct and the need to kill and feed on tough opponents, the rumors of what Naruko did spread through the underworld and he knew he would have no better chance than this. He couldn't wait to crush her head and savor every part of her body.

He leaned against a large pillar, his eyes closed, and his grin still remained on his face as he waited for the show to start.

'Man-Killer' Hex (true name cast away)

Crimes: Mass murder, pilfering of corpses, Black Market dealings of bloodline havers, Slaughter of various clan members, including Uchiha and Hyuuga for their bloodline to sell on the black market, associated with the conspiracy to steal clan children to sell on the black market (unconfirmed), torture and mutilation (sexual) of multiple children (suspected).

Bounty: 89,500,000

A fair-skinned woman at a height of 5'8 with a busty hourglass figure in combat gear was sketching away at her notepad over how much of a profit she would make selling the eldest daughter of the Fourth Hokage and how many children she could steal during the chaos. A large leer settled on her face over the thought of the money she could collect and the joy she would have in breaking her in to be sold to the highest bidder. Her hair was a purple-blue that fell down to the length of her back. Her eyes were a dark, soulless gray that held no mercy, no empathy, and only the will to collect.

She was impatiently tapping her heel against the floor as she was near the front of the stage, burning Naruko's image into her mind, and wondered how much it would take to break her. She always loved challenges.

Shiro 'Blood Witch' Bloodriver

Crimes: Slaughter of Bandit Camps (confirmed), For-hire mercenary (confirmed), the eradication of an entire bandit syndicate (unconfirmed).

Bounty: 21,500,000

Shiro was the same age as Naruko but stood tall at 5'5" with white hair that fell down to stop at the end of her butt, she was pale with scarlet red eyes. She was wearing a pink and purple battlesuit with a black, tattered cloak over her shoulders with a pair of off-white kunoichi boots. Her hands had a multitude of scars and stitches that led up to the sleeves of her outfit.

She was yawning as she was leaning near the corner of the stage, it was late, and wanted to turn in already. However, she had her eyes on the boy the same age as her, who was staring at Naruko's image with longing.

Akira 'Damned' Kowloon

Crimes: Due to his infamous surname, they are considered a plaque on the Elemental Nations for their most notable crimes of rape and sexual slavery in order to expand their clan to swallow the Elemental Nations due to their ability to steal various bloodline abilities through force from either death or forced sexual contact. Due to that, they were exterminated, for the prosperity of the rest of the nations. Akira is the last one on the main line and has a 50,000,000 bounty on his head just for existing. His crimes are for slavery, mutilation, and torture of small clans adding them to his own clan (all confirmed).

Bounty: 95,500,000

Akira stood at 5'6", he was wearing a white mask that was twisted into a malicious grin, his skin was light, his hair was dark, but the most concerning mark about him was his eyes, the ones that sealed his destiny from the moment he was born. Those black and yellow eyes were a blessing and a curse from his massacred family that planned to conquer the elemental nations before being wiped out. He was wearing hakama pants with a blood-red t-shirt and a leather jacket.

He came across Naruko purely by chance, she was coming back from dealing with bandits, he hid his face behind a mouth cover and glasses. She apologized if she disturbed him and told him to have a good day. When he traced her steps to find a bloody massacre of what remained of a slavery ring, he knew he had to meet her again. Ever since then, he became obsessed with her, she was perfect and the only one who had the qualifications to restart his clan, that could fulfill his late forefathers' dreams of taking over the nations. His malicious bloodline, her extreme potential for growth to the point that he could see that would reach past the stars. He wanted to take her and have her before anyone else could.

But she was stubborn, she would not concede to his ideals and nearly killed him when he attempted to force her. That fight left him with multiple scars and stitches, the most noticeable were the three massive scars that burned at the thought of her. Ever since then, he used reinforced blood clones to do his bidding, every fight would bring her closer to him to the point he would finally have her as his own.

He stared at the blown-up image of Naruko with longing until a scoff caught his attention and glanced behind him.

Naoya Karu-sa

Crimes -?

Bounty - N/A

A dirty-blond-haired boy around his age scoffed at the image of Naruko, his arms were crossed over his chest. His hair was framed around his face like that of a mixture between a crown and halo, his skin was fair with solid golden eyes that were soiled with disgust and boredom.

He wore a white shirt with gold trimmings with matching pants with combat sandals. On his arms were golden bands, hidden underneath his pants were shin protectors. He had three ear piercings, two on top, and only one at the bottom.

'This will be too easy. Demons need to learn their place below angels, if she proves her worth, I'll give her the honor of dying by an angel's hand. After I bring back her head, I'll rub it in that bastard's face and force him to tend to me until he outlives his usefulness.'

The nameless jounin worked his way up to the front, where a man in a black suit and black-rimmed glasses with his dark hair gelled back to greet him warmly with a smile that screamed malicious intent, but it didn't register with him. Neither did the lazy grin of the beautiful black-haired woman who wore a form-fitting white dress with stiletto heels, that stood beside him that had the feeling of loathing rolling off her in waves.

The man in the perfectly pressed suit, shouted, "Are you all ready?"

A series of loud cheers and exclamations rang out, much to the leader's grinning, "Good. Let's get our greatest mark and paycheck. That arrogant little bitch. Naruko Uzumaki-Namikaze."

The cheers rang through for a moment before he motioned for silence and gestured for the jounin to lead them to certain choke points he organized inside the village to get them the advantage they needed.

All the guards on duty were in the civilian council's pocket and nodded in their direction before looking away which was all that was needed. They hid in the dark, they memorized each choke point on the map provided to cause untold havoc upon the powerful village all to get one girl, some thought that by the time tomorrow was out, it would be one for the history books.

And they were right, it would be. Just...not in the way they thought it would be.

Once everyone was in position, the nameless jounin was told to meet at the meat district, between an alleyway where the owners dumped their spoiled meat. He paced back and forth, he couldn't stop remembering when he brought his first girlfriend here as a peace offering and told her he was going to have her pick out a piece of meat so he could get it first thing in the morning. He recalled her eyes brightening and her lips curling into a smile as she hugged and kissed him. As they made their way there, they took a shortcut through this alleyway and he slit her throat with ease. Her eyes widened, and her mouth opened with a gasp before she collapsed, his image was the last thing she saw before leaving the mortal coil.

He got to work carving up her body and tossed her in with the spoiled meat, he already made a cover story and just needed to rest, it would be a long day of pretending to mourn for her.

Soon enough they arrived, the woman carrying a large briefcase filled with money.

"Well, fucking finally, why did it take you so long?"

The man waved off his frustration, "My sincerest apologies, we just have to make perfectly sure no one screwed up and went over a few things. My beloved Mai, if you could please give the gentleman his money. Five billion, plus a bit extra for selling out your village and even your own commanding leader. Impressive."

He shrugged off the praise, "Yeah, yeah,-Grk!" He felt a stab in his lower back as the suitcase was ripped out of his grip and tossed back to the suited man as the jounin collapsed.

He tutted at him, "What a shame. I thank you for your help, but you should know that loyalty is priceless, betrayal while being so cheap should have no prize. Mai, please show him what we do to people like him."

She giggled as she tore him apart, his throat was cut so he couldn't scream as he was forcefully taken into a whirlwind of pain, the last thing he was the sneering faces of his previous victims before he met nothing but darkness.

Mai was covered in blood, staining her dress as she tossed the chunks of shredded meat into the nearest dumpster before she went over to him and kissed him as he caressed her blood-stained face before wiping it clean as they made to walk, leaving the traitor to the fate he bestowed on so many others. She already erased their tracks and made to watch the show from the comfort of their home.

As they exited the village, taking a stroll under the night sky, Mai asked, "Tomo, do you think she'll fall?"

"Tell me, Mai, even with the death matches that I managed to get from De Vil, the very first one where she was half-starved and near death when she beat her first man to death, there's no way in hell, she will lose and I can't wait to place that bet so I get all that money."

"Hmm, should I offer her a place among us?" She pondered

"No. We are on opposing sides, after all, this is the girl who slaughters bandit camps and slave syndicates under the age of ten, we can only stay out of her range for now."

She pouted, "Oh..."

"Why? Wish for a little sister?" He quipped

"Well, I have to say she's really cute and talented. Not to mention she's smart and has a blood thirst that is almost demented as mine. I just can't wait for the finale."

The pair then entered their carriage and disappeared into the night.

As people got settled in and waited for the right opportunity, two people were out and about, Shiro was walking to sneak into an inn only to stop and say, "How long are you going to follow me, Kowloon?"

He appeared before her as he removed his grinning mask to an equally malicious grin on his face, "So, the blood witch herself is here too. And here I thought you were friends? Or are you after that massive bounty?"

"Whether I'm here or not, nor my relationship with her is none of your concern. Besides, you have no place to talk when you desire her body for her bloodline and her own strength."

"Can't lie about that, but are you going to stop me?"

Shiro scoffed and moved around him, "I'm not her keeper or protector, besides, she can kick your ass herself. "

"Fickle."

She flipped him off and vanished as he did the same, he took the moment to rest in an isolated area as he leaned against the wall of an abandoned apartment, his back towards her location.

'Soon you will be mine and mine alone.'

[Morning - Naruko Household]

A squad of Danzo's elite ROOT ninjas arrived at her house only to trigger the traps as soon as they landed, the explosion killed 2 of them, leaving bloody chunks everywhere.

ROOT #4 said, "Stay in the trees."

"She laid out traps to prevent anyone from getting near the house."

"We need to get her before the others do, commander, what should we-" *SNAP!*

ROOT #1 had their head entirely rotated to where her chin is now where her forehead should be as she collapsed to the ground like a sack of potatoes only to start immediately rotting and dissolving into the Earth.

ROOT #5, stated, "Sir, we need to leave immediately!"

Before ROOT #4 could reply back, a cold, inhuman growl cut through, which was the last thing they heard before their heads were swiped off their necks. Their bodies were soon feasted upon by a massive creature hidden by the shadows before becoming docile and settled back into the greenery, unseen until the next time an unwelcome intruder came too close.

The explosion woke up Naruko with a groan as she tossed off her covers, cracked her back and neck, and made her way into her living room to open the front door and stiffened. The stench of death, decay, and blood reeked all over Konoha.

A dark leer fell on her face before she straightened herself out, "It seems those bastards finally done it. What a nice gift they've given me, I'll savor it as much as I can."

She closed the door and had a clone prepare a large feast for breakfast as she made to take a bath as she had another clone set up her supplies for her today. As she settled in the bath, she made to meditate, for five minutes before she roused herself out of it, washed off all the soap, and made her way to her bedroom. She made to get dressed into a pair of hexagonal print dark black pants over leg stocking protectors. Naruko made to bandage her chest before putting on a fishnet shirt underneath a black protective shirt with a hooded jacket that was made of the same material as her pants. She put on knee-high combat boots with a belt that has a spade-tipped devil tail that was wrapped around her right leg.

Her weapons and poisons were in their proper place as she clipped on her kunai and shuriken pouches.

She couldn't wait to see the looks on their faces when their hard work to get rid of her or put her in her place underneath them would violently backfire.

'Memorizing those damn laws, make it so worth it. Especially when you can use it against them. Iruka's teachings ring true once again when you hang your enemies with their own weapons and defenses, it's much sweeter.'

After triple-checking everything, she gathered her Heavenly Cloud, shifted it into a blade, and made to be strapped to her back as she made to eat her fill before placing it in the sink to be washed by her clone. She locked up her house and made sure it was protected before she rushed forward, making her way toward her soon-to-be-bloody battlefield.

'This is going to be fun.'

[Council Room]

Everyone gathered into the council room early, both councils were in their proper place with the Elders in-between. Team 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, and 13 with their teachers minus Obito who was still in the hospital were present.

Iruka and Itachi were called in as witnessed Naruko's behavior and work ethic, in said order.

The only one, not present, is Naruko, herself.

Yakumo looked around, "Naruko, isn't here yet?"

Satsuki scoffed and shrugged her shoulders, "Who knows..."

Minato glanced at Iruka who kept his gaze on the door as if waiting, but as more time passed, the worry was slowly bleeding into his gaze.

He couldn't help himself, but to ask, "Chunin Iruka."

He snapped to attention, "Yes, Lord Hokage?"

"Does Naruko have a habit of being late?"

"No, sir. If anything she has a habit of being early, she considers being on time as late. Under her own power, she's never late unless something is preventing her."

"And if that supposed something is a threat?"

"Then let that supposed threat suffer the consequences of standing in her way."

"Very well, but let's start since we are all here. As of now, we are here to discuss Naruko Uzumaki-Namikaze's behavior as of late."

Shikaku yawned from his position and leaned across the council table, "It's been what? Two days since team gatherings. What troublesome actions did she do to dredge up a meeting this early?"

One of the civilian council members screamed, "She's not worthy of being a ninja, let alone your daughter, Lord Fourth."

Various agreements were made with the man on his side as Minato silenced them, "Whether or not you think she's worthy is none of your concern nor your responsibility, she's my daughter, nothing will change that."

However, before they could refute that Danzo interjected, "I propose due to her unruly behavior, she is to be placed under myself for retraining."

'If I can get that brat under my thumb, everything will fall into place.'

Before the civilians could agree, Iruka cut them off, "My sincerest apologies, Elder Shimura, but that cannot happen for the Second's Law is still active preventing you from taking on any student whatsoever."

Danzo's face twisted into an ugly grimace over that Law, oh how he despised that law and the Second for making it, engraining it into what every Hokage and Daiymo needed to know. He especially despised those miserable brats who left such a vile stain on his record that the title he so desperately wanted was so out of reach. So what if he pushed them to the point of insanity, he wanted them broken to be reforged into powerful weapons loyal only to him, that's not a sin. However, they bonded together through the training, aka torture he put them through, they loathed him like a whipped dog against an arrogant, vile master. His last stunt in trying to break their solidarity through a violent genjutsu was the last straw, they just managed to break out of it, one tore out one of their eyes, and the other bit through their tongue so harshly he nearly severed it. The last was severely traumatized over the entire scenario.

They finally had enough, made their wills, sent them to the Second, and when it was bright daylight, they held hands and flung themselves off the Hokage Mountain before anyone could stop them, leaving a gruesome scene that left even the strongest, hardened veterans puke from horror. Even from their managed remains, they still held each other's hands as a symbol of their solidarity that Danzo couldn't rip away from them. That move damned Danzo, the Second was furious and chewed him out publicly for it, considering what he had done. For what he had done, civilians were allowed to place their input which led to the Academy to its' current state. The only reason the Second didn't execute him was that the war was fluctuating and they needed all the manpower they could get. Oh, he could never forget that day for all the years he stood standing if he could he would have killed those little shits over and over again. Especially the letter the Second made before his death and forced him to read and specifically told him he would never be the Hokage for what he did.

"Every Hokage and Dayimo from now until the Fire Country ends will know of what you have done, you cannot hide this shame nor this black stain on your record. You've done enough, now get out of my sight."

He threw the worst fit when he finally got some privacy, he swore he would prove the Second wrong, and he made sure those who knew of his black mark suffered greatly during and after the war.

Danzo stood down but clenched his cane in his fist to the point that his knuckles whitened.

Minato nodded, "Understandable."

Then Kakashi motioned to speak, "Kakashi?"

"When I arrived, I found my team and Team 13 sitting in close proximity with each other except Naruko who was residing in a tree, a bit away from them. I noticed Sakura wasn't chatting and was glancing at the tree Naruko was in so they just had a confrontation with each other. I decided to step in and Sakura shouted, 'You're late!' before she was struck by a senbon by Naruko."

"MY BABY WAS STRUCK WITH A SENBON BY THAT LITTLE-"

"Haruno! What did I say about your decibel level? Keep it low or I'm removing you from this room and banning you from meetings for the next three months."

She immediately sat down with her mouth shut as a whine escaped from Tsume as she rubbed her ears, and Inoichi rubbed her back in consideration.

"Tsume, you okay?"

"No, but I'll manage, Sweet God," She stretched out the kinks in her back and popped her ears as she felt the headache ebb away as she gestured for Kakashi to continue.

"Sakura then collapsed, paralyzed and Naruko explained the beauty of senbons and asked her how she would feel if she was tossed into the red light district at sunset by Naruko."

Tsume, Fugaku, and Shikaku heavily glared at Haruno to prevent her from screaming although she barely restrained herself.

"I scolded Naruko as that was not how you treat your teammate and to release her. She begrudgingly did and explained as she got rid of the senbon that she would be paralyzed and her voice will come back in an hour so peace will reign through the training ground until then. However, Sakura was still overcoming the effects of being paralyzed and silenced."

Sakura rubbed the back of her neck in remembrance and the feeling of her body just shutting down underneath her, made her inadvertently shiver.

"I told her that I was a dangerous way to use senbon and could have easily killed her. She replied with a roll of her eyes, saying, Believe me, Jounin Hakate, if I wanted to kill her it wouldn't be painless nor quick."

Iruka nodded, 'Exactly what Naruko would say.'

"I told her people have lost their headbands for such a statement, she replied, does giving you my headband and never having to see your miserable face again? Because I'd like that. Again, I replied that I'm made out of sterner stuff and because I'm such a good person, I'll let you off with a warning."

Kakashi pushed down the slowly building agitation over remembering, what came next, "She replied it was a shame, Jounin Hakate. When I told her to call me sensei and my first name, she replied I'm calling you by your appropriate title. You haven't taught me anything so sensei doesn't suit you nor am I close to you in any aspect to ever to you through your first name and I'd rather not call you as such. So, what are we going to do?"

Tsume whistled, "Damn, Kakashi, what'd you do to piss her off?"

"I didn't do anything."

Iruka rolled his eyes, 'Damn straight, you did nothing. Mr. Look-Underneath-the-Underneath."

Kakashi noticed Iruka's eye roll but didn't question it.

"Anyway, I told them that we would be doing teamwork exercises, she scowled and told me to fuck off."

Yakumo's face twisted in dismay at what happened next.

"Yakumo interjected only for Naruko to dismiss her appalled comment of her name, as she continued as she explained teamwork exercises are kind of like training and it can help us grow closer as she wanted to get to know her only for Naruko to cut her off. She explained she didn't know nor care to know what sick plan Mito or Memna put you up to but I have no desire to know you at any level. There's nothing to know that will affect your training nor does she have any desire to bond with her or the rest of them. Yakumo tried once again, stating that she just wanted to know her, and we haven't gotten along in the academy, but I'd like to start fresh and be your friend as we are teammates."

Iruka wanted to yawn, 'Like Hell.'

"Naruko coldly told her to cram her offer, which frightened her. I immediately told Naruko to apologize, but she refused. Stating, will you make me run laps or will you scold me as you do after every imprisonment and be more like Mito or Memna? I told her regardless, what you said was distasteful and if she won't apologize, then you will spend the day doing D-ranks before informing her parents. She said, Be my guest, better than staying with you louts all day, before leaving in a pillar of flames without being dismissed."

"Did she do the D-ranks?"

Itachi answered, "She did twenty of them by herself, she was found in the outskirts of Konoha doing those jobs."

Fugaku interjected, "Aren't those the hard labor missions that require 2-3 teams and usually take half a day?"

Itachi glanced at Minato for permission to which he nodded as he continued, "Lord Hokage, given me the task of observing Naruko when she left Kakashi's team yesterday and to inform her of today's meeting. She did all of them by herself. It was rather impressive how she did them too. Tell me, Iruka, you know she's some experience in elemental chakra manipulation?"

"She does, let me guess, the old farm, right? You saw her manipulating the Earth to make the irrigation layout without using the tools, correct."

He nodded.

"Not surprising, she uses those as an opportunity to train. And then you saw her rip her chakra rip out of the ground like a fresh blanket, right?"

"Yes."

"Again, not surprising. She learned how to conserve her chakra, she's more of a chakra monster than Mito and Memna. Especially since her chakra network is more refined. She spent a lot of time studying and practicing in private."

Minato absorbed his words as he stated, "Iruka, I need you, to be honest with me, I can tell you know the most about her skill set, where would you place her in terms of rank?"

"Overall with my knowledge of her current skillset, I'd give her special jounin, with taijutsu combined with her strength and endurance she'd crush all genin and chunin with ease. With the rest of her skill set, especially the one she considers the most refined, I'd pity any ninja under ANBU level who crosses her if they ever meet in a dark ally. Especially those who she dislikes."

Kurenai stammered, "That can't be possible."

Fugaku noted Iruka's features and body language along with Inoichi, Iruka was dead serious about Naruko's skillset.

Fugaku only found himself more interested, 'Obito is no slouch, yet she managed to hospitalize him, she hasn't been bested yet even against clan heirs. Just what you been doing, Naruko?'

Iruka ignored her, "Itachi, you wouldn't believe me if I told you how she trains herself. This is a girl that refuses to have limits. You are considered a once-in-a-lifetime prodigy that hasn't reached his peak, she's the one reaching for the heavens and the lands above the heavens."

"Hmm, you believe so?" His curiosity about the enigma of the eldest Hokage's child increasing

"I know so, now, have you heard the rumors about Naruko's mission records?"

"Other than people saying it's nothing but lies, why?"

He glanced at Minato, "Lord Hokage?"

A sigh escaped him, "It's not a lie, the mission records are all true. As of now, her mission record is as follows: 1283 D-ranks, 44 C-ranks, 36 B-ranks, 17 A-ranks, 0 S-rank missions, and 1 SS-rank mission."

There was dead silence before a violent maelstrom of noise filled the room, the genin were in shock, some were shocked stiff, others were violently protesting the mission record saying it wasn't true, while others were just trying to take in the information the Hokage gave to them.

"This can't be?! It's impossible!"

"It's lies! All lies!"

"She's a delinquent who beats up on innocent civilians, there's no way it's true!"

"She's nothing more than a violent brute!"

"How could anyone not notice this before it amounted to so much?"

Inoichi drummed his fingers against the table, "Damn, 1,361 missions before she became a genin compared to the twenty after."

"It's rather impressive tho," Choza commented

Hiashi nodded in agreement, "That it is, but to collect so many missions while still in the academy with no one being none the wiser?"

Fugaku interjected, "Adding onto the fact that she has an SS-ranked mission before she was even a genin is a testament to her skill. SS-ranked missions are hard to come by in peacetime."

Tsume was racking her brains for an answer she couldn't solve before she slapped a hand on the table, and yelled "How the hell did an Academy student turn genin get an SS-ranked mission?"

Minato calmed everyone down, "Iruka, do you know the contents of that mission?"

He shook his head, "No, but I can guess it has something to do with the other missions, like Obito said she has lots of combat experience and doesn't fight like a newbie genin correct? Tell me, Itachi and they'll have their answer, what's the most versatile form of mission a ninja can take?"

"Bandits."

"There you go."

Denials and accusations flew around before Minato silenced everyone as Kakashi motioned to speak, "Kakashi?"

"I recommend in spite of her behavior and unique talents that she placed on my team while Obito is out of commission and hopefully transferred to my care."

"Immediate refusal, as it's a terrible idea, Kakashi," Iruka shook his head.

Kakashi's bored glare pierced him, "Just because Naruko is your favorite, doesn't mean she can have everything."

"That's really rich coming from you Kakashi. The very same person who says look underneath the underneath yet you can't see the obvious. Naruko absolutely despises you, not to mention having her with both Sasuke and Sakura will end with their deaths. Brutal, violent deaths, might I add."

Mummers filled the halls before Minato silenced them and gestured for Iruka to continue.

Naruko's piercing glare settled to the front of his mind as he refuted, "That's not true."

"It's not? It is true. You threw such a fit over not having her on your team, proclaiming that Naruko and Sasuke have a fierce rivalry like that Lord Minato with Lord Hyuuga or Lord Uchiha had at their age, which is completely laughable. Sasuke has not won against Naruko in all the matches he started, both sanctioned and unsanctioned. That and she's not even serious when she fights him. She uses the bare amount of movement and knocks him down, this has started since the beginning of their first year as academy students. If she was dead serious, he would be dead many times over. He could have all the chunin forces behind him and he'd still lose. You want Naruko on your team in order to improve them both and make a point towards Naruko to mold her into a perfect kunoichi to have her apologize to your teacher for her previous 'delinquent' behavior and look up to you, well guess what, you aren't going to get what you want. The fact you want to have them all on the same team proves the fact that you should never be her teacher in the first place, it's going to get Sakura and Sasuke maimed when her temper flares out of control. God forbid, Sakura tries to take her temper out on Naruko which will only get her stomped into a coma or skinned and impaled to rot in the sun. God knows what she'd do to Sasuke if she had half the chance."

Sakura winced and cringed, she knew that Naruko would have no qualms about doing exactly that and a lot more. The cold glare she gave her yesterday was chilling.

Sasuke scowled over the fact he lost every match and knew the next conversation with his brother would be like pulling teeth as his brother gave him, 'We will be talking about this later,' type of look.

Kakashi coldly quipped, "And her teammates? She treats them with disdain."

Iruka shook his head, "Again, no, if it was truly disdain, they would know. It's only apathy and annoyance. And she has a very good reason for that and they should be blessed, she only gives that."

"For what reason, we just want to get close to her! That's not a sin!" Yakumo said

'Ah, the ax forgets, but the tree remembers,' Iruka thought passively

"Really, don't tell me you forgot so easily Yakumo?"

"So we teased her, so what? Don't tell me she's holding a grudge over a series of pranks." Satsuki spat

"I'm not sure sending someone to get maimed counts as a prank, tho."

"What?"

"That's a lie, they would never do such a thing?!" Ino shouted

Iruka ignored her as he kept his gaze focused on the two girls before him, "I remember it as clear as if it were yesterday, it was during the second half of the first year, when you two, along with several others invited her on an outing, she refused of course, because she had something to do that day so she could be in the area you wanted her to be regardless. However, instead of a girl's outing, it was a ruse to pin Mito's pranks on her, correct?"

Satsuki scoffed, "She's still upset about that, it was just a little fun."

"It's not really fun when you get the flesh of your arms removed, right?"

Satsuki snapped to attention, "WHAT?!"

Yakumo froze in horror, "T-That's a lie!"

"Not really. You see, some of your classmates overheard your plan with Mito and what you were planning and one of them was the daughter of one of the men Naruko beat back to defend herself as the civilians have gotten it into their minds they needed to break down Naruko as a punching bag to honor the Fourth Hokage and his oh-so-perfect two children." He finished coldly

Mito and Memna winced at the cold, icy look before it became neutral once more.

The room became icy from the combined killing intent of Minato and Kushina as he clenched his fists, while she clenched her teeth, using the pressure to keep their composure as Iruka continued.

"They managed to paralyze her with an unknown chunin's help as they dragged her to a secluded location to ruin her arms and get her removed from the academy to be their everlasting punching bag, after all, she's the disappointment to their precious, untouchable Hokage. She needs to be taught a lesson and punished for not licking their shoes."

They paled as he looked down at them with a cold glare, all the genin felt it, the disappointment, the disgust Iruka looked at them with, "You should be very, very lucky, Naruko escaped from being paralyzed and fought back. A jounin who was in the civilian council's pocket dragged her to jail to be there for two weeks when Mito's prank went off. When I got the entire story from her I was furious, when I went to report the matter, she told me it wouldn't work and they'll just rip it up. Who cares about the delinquent brat of the Hokage?"

He took a breath to collect himself, "I knew I had to do something so I kept separate logs and made to report it, just in case, imagine my surprise when they did exactly what she spoke of and said, I would get in trouble if I caused any more issues and to just go with the flow of the world. Let me be perfectly honest, I wanted to kick every single one of you out of the Academy for that. When I went to inform Naruko, she said, it doesn't matter, who would the clan heads believe? Their own children or the delinquent brat of the Hokage who causes so much trouble? There's no point, people are going to believe what the majority says, the public opinion will sway the neutrals to their side so they'll already have a negative impression of me, there's no point at all. Don't waste your breath or time, on something fruitless, Iruka. But thank you for being the first and only to try."

Iruka felt his blood boil as he recalled the tired smile that shouldn't be on a 9-year-old's face as he coldly uttered, "Do you know how disgusting it is that the child of your own leader has no trust at all in the clans that support her father? The fact that she knew to not even attempt to voice any rebuttal to her situation. Hell, criminals get more leeway."

His words pierced them as they all looked down, not wanting to look at his gaze nor in the direction of their parents, who were disgusted and angry in turn.

Kiba winced as Akamaru couldn't even whine over the familiar growl that came from his mom, 'God today's gonna suck.'

He turned his attention to the pale Satsuki, "Not to mention your wisecrack about your alleged outing when she finally came back to class. You should count your blessings that Naruko had massive control of her temper as she noted to me that she wanted to rip off your face for that slight. That's why I gave you a month's detention and be thankful I gave Naruko an excuse to calm herself so she couldn't crack your skull open. Believe me, when I say that she would and could crack your skull open."

Satsuki directed her gaze to the floor as she felt Fugaku and Itachi's glares boring into her.

He then turned to face a sniffling Yakumo, "You say you just want to be friends with her, but brought that on, Yakumo? Is it from a blooming interest due to you now being in close proximity? Or how she handled Obito? Regardless, even with your blooming interest, she has no reason to trust anyone in her class or the rest of you. I mean, if you were in her position, would you be able to trust anyone? Four years of mistreatment and apathy only for you to want to be friends after being placed on the same team?"

She cringed along with several others, they didn't answer, they couldn't. Not without damning themselves in turn.

One of the civilian council members screamed, "Liar, Lord Hokage, that man is a liar and deserves to be arrested!"

Minato coldly hissed, "Be silent."

His words chilled the room, Itachi couldn't help but note the force in words and tone, one of the primary reasons why he got his current position after the war. The man quickly sunk back into this seat, pale and shivering in a cold sweat as Minato collected himself.

He turned to the silent Iruka and said, "Why didn't you say anything? Why didn't you bring this to my attention?"

Iruka stared back at him, "Because I promised her, Naruko has been hurt far too many times for me to betray her confidence, you may be my Hokage and more importantly, her father, but that girl had very little. I refuse to see that girl jump off the deep end due to my betrayal and there was little chance you would believe me with the vast majority in your proximity who viewed Naruko in a negative light. As they would either silence me or behave in an even worse manner towards Naruko. If you wish to punish me for not informing you, I will gladly take it."

Minato was silent for a long moment, until he softly asked, "Did she ever-"

"Try that? Only once that I know of, but not since the only one who knows that answer is her and she won't say. All I know is that it happened after the civilian council banned her from their shops and restaurants within Konoha to keep her isolated and weak which was supposed through the pranking spree instigated by Mito and Memna and their friends as punishment. Due to her supposed delinquent behavior, she was banned from eating in the Namikaze household with said pranking spree being the reason."

Kushina looked like she wanted to puke, her fingers dug into the wall, Iruka's words were damning yet sad, but she needed to hear them.

"She was forced to scavenge and hunt for food, something I didn't know until later when she felt she could trust me enough. Moving away from that, it was after another attack from a mob of 22 civilians and 5 civilian-supporter chunins, after bringing them down, she noticed she got a nasty cut that tore open her side, but she managed to dress the wound and get to the hospital. Tsunade being in a horrible mood, snapped at her, whether she noticed the bleeding side was something Naruko didn't know or care to dwell on and she was banned from the hospital for in her words, "giving her more work." She left to find a secure place, but it seemed the kunai was laced with something and she barely managed to stitch her side closed but collapsed against a tree. I found her out there just as it started to pour, if I didn't stumbled upon her while I was heading back home, she would have died that night."

Kushina's fingers dug further into the wall, causing various cracks as she was trembling in an effort to not flip her lid.

Mito and Memna simultaneously cringed as they knew they were going to get it badly when they got back home.

"She point blank refused to go to the hospital, when I pressed the issue, she fled, quickly even in her wretched state, she barely made it out of the village to pass on. I swore on my headband and blood that I wouldn't take her to the hospital she allowed me to take her back to the village to recover. She suffered a nasty fever on top of sepsis due to the exposure of her wound, how she survived that week I'll never know. She point-blank refuses to be in the vicinity of the hospital nor in Tsunade's proximity, not out of fear but out of hate."

Minato made a solid note to have a very long talk with Tsunade, as he quipped, "Is this why you wanted Naruko to have a solo genin rank?"

"Yes, although the current Team 12 is a necessary evil, believe me, the other matchups were worse. Especially Kakashi's with Sasuke and Sakura, they wouldn't last a day."

Kakashi proclaimed, "But if Naruko got over her ill behavior, my team could have been the next sannin."

"That's not something to look up to, considering one of them is a traitor, you know? Also, you have a lot of nerve proclaiming that Naruko would never match up to Mito or Memna."

"Because it's true."

"No, it's not, besides, no one has beaten Naruko, not your precious god siblings either. In an all-out fight, they'd be dead, regardless of their training and the fox. Training is one thing, but real-life experience is another. Tell me, who's going to win, a child that's trained in a controlled environment with no expectancy to be seriously injured or a child up against a mob where a quick death is mercy? Any good shinobi would choose the latter. You're proclaimed a genius yet you can't see what's in front of you unless someone whacks you with it. Along with the gall of you stating she has to be close to the very classmates who have done nothing but treat her like shit for the past four years and for her to just accept that. Like, 'I know I treated you like shit, but let's sweep that under the rug and be friends, shall we?' Like hell, I wanted her to have that solo genin rank so she could make peace with her anger which has been stewing for years, your students and the rest of them can grow up and hopefully, reach a neutral peace. But no, I know better and demand she be on a team. I'm just glad Obito was there as he's a neutral and doesn't take rumors as facts."

Kakashi was silent for a moment and said, "Would she do the same thing she did to Obito to me?"

Iruka rolled his eyes, "Don't flatter yourself. What she did to Obito was an accident, if anything she'd use the old law of maiming one's sensei to get their jounin position, it's still active the last time I checked within certain circumstances."

"She wouldn't-"

"She could and would and she would smile while doing so."

Kurenai stammered out, "It's not possible."

"Oh, but it is. Kakashi is an experienced jounin that has lived through war, but that means nothing against a girl that can restrain and maim you to her heart's content along with her skills that are unknown to the populace. The only people who have an inkling are already among the dead. On top of Lady Kushina's well-known temper and what Lord Minato did to Iwa, I'd rather deal with the Kyuubi, the beast would just kill me and get it over with. But Naruko? Well, it's your funeral, if they find enough of you that's left to have a funeral."

Kakashi clenched his fists, as his mind was in a whirlwind over Naruko, as mummers filled the hall before Danzo could voice his opinion, the doors were forced open, and the stretch of blood and viscera set all the ninja on edge as they braced themselves only for a managed piece of meat slammed against the civilian council's table as it released a vile meaty slap making some of them scream and curse as two of them covered the elder Haruno's mouth.

The mass then slumped backward and fell on the unforgiving tiled floor with a barely audible groan.

Tsume's face twisted into a grimace, "The poor fuck is still alive?"

They could see blood pooling aground the badly mutilated torso of what looked to be a jounin with a civilian council symbol that was on what remained of their stub of an arm.

The man had the right half of his face ripped off, while his left eye was crushed. his chest was covered in blood and looked to be caved in. Both of his legs were ripped off and he looked like he just finished being an Inuzuka chew toy.

The mutilated piece of meat coughed as what remained of his gaze was on the horrified civilian council, "You said she'd be weak."

Before anyone could do anything, a violent force came down and crushed the jonin's head silencing them forever, much to the horror of multiple genin. As if shedding off an invisible cloak, Naruko Uzumaki-Namikaze appeared before them, drenched in blood and bits of viscera. Her boot was still on what remained of the mutilated jonin.

She cracked her neck to the left, then to the right, as everyone took in her form as she stared right in front of her, not caring about her surroundings but noting every position they were in as she sighed.

She flicked her hands clean of the excess blood as she huffed, "Are you going to keep hiding, or are you going to come out? Whether I kill you in front of them or kill you out there, there's nothing the darling Hoakge can do without losing their job due to the filthy civilians.

Then she saw them make their way towards her, staying at the doorway as Tanaka clapped while Saiaku grinned, "Impressive."

"I'm glad you think so, today's a fun day."

Tanaka glanced at the dead jonin underneath her, "To think, you'd slaughter one of your own comrades. Shouldn't you tree huggers be all about that shit?"

Naruko gave a disdainful snort, "Comrades? What comrades? The maggot enforcers of the civilian council, the very same ones who used their wish to prevent their darling Hokage from interfering with their plan of getting rid of their most frequent problem? Along with the ten billion-heavy bounty they placed on my head to make sure my end is horrid and torture-filled. Imagine that, it's smart for civilians, but they're still fucking stupid. But enough chat-" She snapped her fingers setting the civilian support jounin corpse aflame leaving nothing but ashes.

Her words shocked them, but they remained silent as they could only watch the scene unfold before them.

"I'm so late, it's 58 minutes past 8 so, I'll kill you within two minutes," She coldly quipped.

Tanaka snorted, "Let's see you try, brat. For the amount of chaos, I'll make sure your death is painless and I'll rip them apart and send them to accompany you on your trip to the afterlife."

She unfurled her tail to hang loosely behind her, "You say the sweetest things."

They snorted in turn as she rushed forward and forced them back into the blood-drenched waiting room as a gust of wind, nearly knocked several genin off their feet. They made to attack her on both sides to keep her pinned and land a crippling blow, but Naruko didn't look troubled.

Tanaka's attack pattern was random and orthodox, which suited his sickle wielding, he didn't need to land a fatal blow, he could do that after his victim was nicked, her wrenching out his poison, impressed and scared him. Causing him to be serious. Saiaku had more blunt attacks with her ribbons that makeshift into whips and restraints, she knew that she had to give them both violent, crippling blows simultaneously or else they would continue to fight.

Regardless, ducking and weaving amongst their blows wasn't a big deal as two-on-one fights were something she was used to. They meshed together very well, the elder brother weakened prey to give his sister the killing blow, it was rather sweet in a messed-up way.

However, she had enough of their attacks and forced a chakra-enhanced palm strike at Tanaka slamming him into the opposing wall.

Saiaku screamed, "You Bitch!"

She got some distance avoiding Naruko's uppercut as she used her ribbons to either restrain her or bisect her only for Naruko to tear through them, her arms and legs covered in flames, danced as she tore through her ribbons, as she weaved through the blood spilled on the floor in the flurrying of spinning, ducking and weaving only to get within striking distance.

But then, Tanaka rushed forward and made to impale her from behind with his poison as Saiaku made to slit her stomach. They grinned, but much to their shock, Naruko grinned as well as her veins started to pulse and blood spilled from her lips as she whispered, "Aburame Style: Cast-Off Cicada Shell", before vanishing leaving nothing but her ruined jacket on their weapons of choice, leaving her in her fishnet and bandages, completely unharmed.

"What?!/ What!" They both stated before they stiffened, a bright glow was all they saw before Naruko beheaded them both with a black flame-laced tanto blade before she switched out with a pair of kunai laced with her rot poison and stated, "Inuzuka style: Mutilate."

She made to rip them both to pieces not even fit enough for a matchbox and used her tail to impale both of them through the cerebellum to prevent anything funny. Once was far too many as she made sure after every kill through a beheading just to be sure.

Naruko now noted that she was in a new layer of blood as she sealed the heads away along with her jacket and her opponents' weapons with a wave of her hand before snapping her fingers, setting what remained of them ablaze until nothing but ashes remained.

She wiped the seal off the floor with a single gesture, "Ten seconds remaining."

A civilian supporter jounin who was hiding made to take a suicide charge only to be impaled with a kunai through the throat that stuck him to the wall before she forced a kunai into the center of his forehead, killing him instantly.

"Much better."

She made her way towards the dead silent council room, closing the door as she turned all the corpses into ashes as the blood and viscera dripped off of her clothes.

"Two minutes," She blankly stated.

The clan heads and various teams were shocked at the sight of the blood-drenched girl before them.

Itachi thought, 'Dead last, my ass. Oh Sasuke, of all people to get mad at you, you picked her off all people.'

Iruka crossed his arms over his chest, 'Not surprising, all those hours you spent training paid off wonderfully, Naruko. I just hope your anger won't consume you like mine almost did.'

Minato was at a loss for words, 'Naruko, just how much have I missed...I'm so sorry.'

Kushina in a whirlwind of various emotions, that made her want to throw up today's breakfast, 'Oh Naruko, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry!'

Guy found himself rather impressed, 'I'm happy for you Naruko, I can't wait for our next meeting. I know you will have a lot to tell me.'

Tenten felt cold sweat run down her back as she shifted her weight from her left to her right, 'I can see why Guy-sensei forbid us from ever antagonizing her. That's scary.'

Neji found himself at a loss, he recalled all the stories about Naruko being a failure to the Hokage's name and a delinquent only suitable to be married off, yet she was able to rip through her attackers like nothing. He remembered Guy telling him to never take rumors about Naruko as fact and now he knew why.

Lee was excited, 'What a youthful comrade, scary, but still very youthful!'

Mito grit her teeth, 'What the actual fuck! How can she do that? She wasn't even trained like Menma and I was!'

"Ah, your true colors are being shown, it's pure agony, isn't it? The one you consider beneath you is so far ahead of you, in spite of all the superior training. I hope it burns you to the point that your insides rot, brat."

Mito bit through the side of her tongue as she was forced to hear the damn fox's mocking, all she wanted to do was leave and scream her head off.

Memna fared no better as he was in shock over the girl he considered a failure and a shame to their family was much more brutal, she never reacted to their prodding or pranks and but her ripping through her enemies, her being drenched in blood and viscera combined with Iruka's scolding told him that Naruko could have easily murdered them if she wished and there wasn't a damn thing they could do about it.

He clenched his fists as he stared at the look of boredom Naruko had on her face as if maiming a slew of people was something to be bored about.

'I swear I will find out everything, Naruko, that I promise.'

A snort filled the dark cell with the mind of Memna, 'What a pathetic brat, now that he had her talent crammed down his throat, he's interested. To think I'm split into two and stuck between two morons.'

Satsuki was shocked over the power Naruko had and recalled all the spars she witnessed, how Naruko barely tried against anyone from the graduating class, especially against her brother.

'The way she fought against them, has she been doing this since the start of the Academy? Is this why she considers none of us as a potential threat or even a rival?'

She glanced at her brother to find him barely restraining his jealousy, 'Seriously?! Every time I feel that I feel that I got a read on her only to see this! She really wasn't trying, Iruka was right. But it doesn't matter, I will surpass her.'

Yakumo was terrified of her, 'Okay, we don't have to be friends.'

The rest were in various states of shock, awe, and fear, while the clan heads felt concerned, interested, and somewhat excited over her battle prowess, but more concerned over her mental health. What Iruka said so far, didn't ring any good bells for them, especially considering her rage, was directed at their children due to their misdeeds or lack of action.

Tsume nudged Inoichi who gave a slight nod as he made plans to see inside her head and hopefully drain her rage before it became too much for her to control.

Danzo was inwardly salivating over such power, refined and controlled, he was furious he knew nothing about it but reasoned it must be because she kept herself within the role of the rumors and no one could get close enough to tell different. Except for Iruka, I'll keep an eye on him, and plan his death accordingly.

The civilian council was sweating up a storm, with various thoughts of the following

'We are so screwed!'

'This wasn't how it was supposed to go!'

'How can she be that powerful?!'

Except for one who made a gesture that Inoichi caught as a shadow melted off the wall and made to stab Naruko from the back through the neck.

Naruko remained undisturbed as she avoided the strike aimed at her neck, as she smacked the invisible assailant further into the room with her tail while disrupting their invisibility jutsu.

It was a young woman, slightly younger than Itachi, but was nervous, her equilibrium was broken. The woman had two choices, flee and be hunted down with a marginal chance of escaping or kill her immediately.

She chose...poorly.

She made to attack her with a blade only for Naruko to make her way towards her and struck out with her palm which blew her heart out of her body, making it hit the ground with a meaty thud as she stiffened as blood spilled from her cloth-covered mouth, her eyes wide with shock before Naruko without a word, beheaded her with two fingers in a wide swinging arc, which then caused her body to collapse as she then joined the many others that were turned to ashes at her hands.

The civilian council member who hired the assassin was horrified, 'How much of a monster is she?!'

Minato noted, 'So, like Itachi said she does burn them to ashes after killing them almost as if to make sure they don't come back. Interesting. I hate that I missed so much of your life, Naruko. I can only hope you will give us one last chance when we prove that we deserve as such.'

She yawned and stretched out her back, noting the uniform of her assailant for future looking into.

Naruko then turned to Minato and with a firm, cool tone and formal bow, "My most humble of greetings Lord Hokage. And my most sincere apology for being late, I had to deal with multiple maggots that needed to be crushed on the way here."

Minato nodded, "Greetings back, Naruko and I accept your apology."

He inwardly winced at her cold, formal tone, he would much rather prefer she screamed insults at him, as the cold tone she spoke with was icy and sterilized as if she was speaking to a complete stranger and it hurt him the more he heard it.

She turned to Iruka, "It seems the arrogant civilians have sprung their trap to get rid of the most current thorn in their side. I have to say, it's quite impressive... for civilians, of course."

She pulled out a scroll as and tossed it to him as she made to wipe her hands on a handkerchief.

Iruka noted the scroll was a royal purple with a symbol of lotus in the dead center.

'Knowledge from the outside...'

He released a sigh, "Apparently so, and I can tell it's not just chunins hopped up on drugs, huh?"

She shook her head, "If only it was that simple. But it seems that they got a collection of maggots and a handful of termites to infest the great tree."

Iruka's eyes narrowed as his gaze fell on her, 'Maggots, low-level enemies, basically trash mobs of low-level shinobi/bandits. Termites, higher-level enemies that pose an actual threat from various sections.'

"How many termites?" He asked as he opened

"Well, it seems there's nine of them, although considering how I beheaded the two of them just now, that marks it down to six that are still alive. The first one made a couple of fatal errors, one was annoying me, the second was kidnapping three prominent members of certain clans, namely the Sarutobi clan, the Uchiha clan, and the Hyuuga clan, and before you freak out, they're fine. They're in the safety of their homes, alive and well."

"Who did they kidnap specifically?" Fugaku questioned

"Hm, Hanabi Hyuuga, Rose Uchiha, and Konohamaru Sarutobi, apparently, she was going to sell them to the slave market, after she had her fun with them."

"She?"

"Yes, she, not he, she, her title is Man-Killer Hex."

Her title made many of the clan heads furious beyond all measure before they calmed themselves.

Tsume coldly stated, "Please, please tell me that bitch is dead."

Naruko smiled, "She's in pieces and died screaming."

A sigh escaped her, "Thank you."

Naruko nodded.

Iruka quipped, "How many maggots have you got rid of, and where they came from?"

"The harvesters of the Great Tree."

'The civilian council,' Minato and all the jounin noted.

Minato felt a bit proud that Naruko knew of the various war terms referencing Konoha as he remained focused on the situation at hand.

"I lost count of around a nine hundred, but there was at least double that number from the rough estimate. Their remains are on the outskirts of the village, far west of the Uchiha compound. They didn't get anywhere close to them, so they're fine the last time I checked, I put protective barriers on each of the compounds so neither the maggots nor termites could get close. The idiots over there left major holes in their plan to take my head, the two obvious for starters. The first is that they are to be subjected to the Hokage's wrath when midnight struck and the second is that they left the most vulnerable of each clan compound exposed. But then again, what can you expect from people who can't see past their own nose."

The news caused the ninja side to glare at the civilians, for putting their clans in danger, making several of them whimper in fear.

Iruka then snorted in amusement.

Naruko cracked a grin, "Find something amusing?"

He quipped, "You knew this would happen?"

She shrugged her shoulders, "It was bound to happen eventually, stupid is as stupid does. It seems their support system isn't so helpful, not that it matters, they're all dead."

Iruka shook his head, "You know, the Nara would court you over this?"

"Immediate refusal, dear Iruka. Laziness is a massive turn-off, I need a partner that matches me in several aspects, being physical and active are one of the most important, despite intelligence. Being lazy in spite of being smart is a massive negative. I have no need for those who stay on the sidelines because it's too troublesome."

Shikamaru winced at the icy, disgusted bored tone she spoke with, Shikaku immediately inwardly cursed.

"Moving forward, you planned for this, you knew they send a force to get rid of you, with the First's wish that was granted them."

She shrugged, "Yes, but they're still stupid with the various laws they've broken, they seized the chance to attack me without the Hokage's interference from him or his forces, but they left themselves on the chopping block for it."

"So whether you live past today, which you will, you get everything, you get to fuck up their assets and lynch them and there's not a damn thing they can do about it?"

"Pretty much. In the name of the great and late Mito Uzumaki, those who date attempt to soil the body of the innocent and attack the line of the Hokage deserve Agita."

Danzo and the rest of the elders winced visibly as they knew that term, the stories they learned from the Second and from witnessing one themselves. Mito Uzumaki was the primary enforcer of using that against those who dared tried to strike against the innocent and the Hokage's bloodline. It was to the point that Tsunade was practically untouchable at a time because of how horrible agita was.

AN: Such a wonderful thing history is.

Iruka looked at her with a knowing look, "They can't die can they?"

"No, not until they pay back their debt."

He looked confused, "What-" She smiled, to which he got it

A mirthful chuckle left him, "You really need to add Devil to that name of yours."

She bowed as she crossed her right leg behind her left, lifting the sides of her t-shirt in a makeshift curtsy, "I try. I just can't help myself to dot my I's and cross my T's."

Kurenai's voice changed the mood of the room, "But that doesn't explain how you have such abilities. Just what have you been doing all this time?"

Naruko's voice became icy as her face turned neutral, "Since when do I answer you? Jounin status or not, you don't have to know everything about every single kunoichi that crosses your sight. Not that I would tell you regardless."

Kurenai quipped, "And if I ordered it?"

"Then I'd tell you to cram your order up that tight ass of yours, my dear, pathetic, arrogant jounin."

Hinata squeaked in horror, Kiba looked like he swallowed a lemon as Akamaru hid further in his jacket and Shino shifted from left to right as his hive buzzed in response to his agitation.

Kurenai twitched, "You have a lot of nerve from a newbie genin that may be stripped of her rank soon."

"This is coming from the same cunt who uses her student to do her dirty work. Whether or not I'm stripped of my rank, by the end of the day is irrelevant, because once it is stripped from me, I just need to wait for my prime opportunity to kill you slowly. You see, there's nothing more disgusting than being in the same room as one who needs to prove her superiority over an Academy student in order to suck up to someone else. Sadly, I can't end your beloved student for what she did, but I'd rather prefer you broken and hung on the highest parts of Konoha as your beloved students look in horror at your disgrace. You aren't my commander nor anything positive, and if you attempt to show me my place I swear on my blood and my flesh, there will be no one in this room that will stop me from giving you the worst ending possible before sending you to lowest pits of Hell." She spat at her feet, "Jounin my ass," she then vanished in a flurry of flames.

Kurenai was shocked at Naruko's words.

Kushina demanded, "What the fuck did you do?"

Before Kurenai could answer, Iruka coldly commented, "As I said, Stewed anger. And you should be blessed with that steady grip on her temper. She has a lot of anger that needs to be worked out, just be happy she's using it against enemies instead of the source. Not that they'd have much of a chance."

Inoichi asked, "Shouldn't she have a mental check? That's not healthy."

Iruka glanced at him, "I'll run it by her first, just make sure your daughter is not within the area."

Inoichi nodded, "Got it."

'I need to clear a day in the near future for this, I'll need Ikibi's hand in this.'

Iruka turned his gaze to her, "And as for you, Yuuhei, what the hell were you thinking?"

"Wha-"

Iruka tutted, "You really have some nerve bitching over her not giving you any type of respect, when you did what you did, having Yakumo place her in that nightmare genjutsu of yours to relieve their worst memory."

Kurenai shrugged, "So what?"

Iruka barely held back a sneer, "So what she says, huh? I guess you aren't the protector of women as you so proclaim to be when you make a girl relive her first rape attempt."

Kushina shrieked, "What?!"

Kurenai paled, "I-I-"

"It's not a surprise, you were a downright awful bitch when you got your jacket before some put on ice on it, finally."

Minato coldly stated, "Iruka, explain."

"Very well, it happened around the time Naruko was 8, that was the worst year for her as she found out some devesting news and that was the last time she ever used the main roads of Konoha. It was late and she wanted to eat and turn in from a long day of gathering material to make poisons, only for her to be attacked from behind, the blow was so heavy it split her head open," His words caused several to gasp, and others to clench their fists, Minato started to grind his teeth as his eyes took on a darker shade of their usual blue, as Iruka continued, "If it was anyone else, they would have died instantly but she was just unconscious. Thankfully and sadly, Naruko had a unique pain tolerance that allowed her to wake up before it was too late. They spent the time she was unconscious kicking and spitting on her, the brutes who wish to get into the Hokage's family through well, I'm sure you can guess, right?"

Several ninjas looked disgusted, Tsume looked sick at the thought, and Kushina felt as if someone carved a hole through her heart at the thought of anyone looking at her daughter in such a disgusting way. Minato swore he would see to it that those who had a hand in it would die a horrible death.

"They were going to break her legs and arms to prevent her from fighting back, but one of them was too anxious to start and ripped off her clothes, by that point, she was awake and attacked in turn. She was disoriented and nauseated from the blow, but she was far too angry and filled with adrenaline to give a damn, she beat them all, the park was the closest rest point and it was the only place she could get shelter as it started to pour as the sun has already set by that point. By that time of day, the gates to the Namikaze compound automatically locked and Mito in her apparent wisdom to screw over her sister for a sick game removed Naruko from the sealing array that key members to the household... again."

Kushina looked down, meeting Mito's gaze as she gave her a disgusted look filled with loathing as Mito knew she wouldn't be able to sit for at least a month.

Memna didn't even have to look to know Kushina's gaze was on the both of them, they were in hot water.

The Kyuubi gave a violent, rumbling laugh, "You're so fucking screwed brat, that monkey putting your ass on a plate and I'm all here for it."

Mito refused to comment, the fox's words were not making this situation any better.

"She managed to contact me when she forced her chakra into the ground, sending a message for help, which she picked up from the war texts that were in the library, I found her soon after she sent out that signal but she was barely conscious, only when we reached my apartment did she fall unconscious. She was asleep for a week and a half and I didn't want to disturb her during that time until she woke up. Naruko absolutely detested the hospital so I felt it was the best choice. It took two more weeks until I felt comfortable enough to send her back to the Academy, not that anyone noticed...or cared for that matter about her disappearance, as she usually left when things got a bit too much for her temper to handle."

Iruka took a moment to collect himself, as he continued, "As if that's not enough when Naruko avoided you, and you still drunk off your elation over being a jounin, you demanded her attention when you realized as the rumor mill was spriting about her at that point two years ago, so she was ten at that time. She didn't acknowledge your presence because she knew you were close to Kushina who at that time was ranting over Naruko's supposed delinquent behavior," making Kushina wince and her eyes burn in dismay.

"You wanted to teach her a lesson for your beloved sensei, but Naruko having considered Konoha a loss cause avoided being seen in public, the only prominent place she was in was at the academy and various other places that you couldn't keep tabs on, so you had your student, Yakumo teach her a lesson. You had her place Naruko in that nightmare genjutsu where it forced her to relive that night. When she snapped awake, she was furious, you should be lucky you didn't bury what would have remained of Yakumo if Naruko didn't keep an icy grip on her temper. I allowed her to be excused for that month, her temper would have flared out of her control and it would have ended in her death. After all, Yakumo, didn't you say it was funny?"

Yakumo teared up, she looked sick as she thought, 'I didn't know.'

As he continued, "You should be lucky all you got was cold words and apathy, people have gotten their heads ripped for lesser offenses than that and gotten away clean. Only God knows what Lady Kushina would do in her place."

The shinobi council and Minato winced at once, as Kushina's temper was infamous due to its ferocity, they could only thank or curse because Minato's fuse was much longer and harder to light, but when it was lit it was bad, Fugaku and Hiashi knew that first hand.

She quietly sobbed, he turned to Satsuki who looked horrified, "Another reason why she called you Mito's associate over your pranks to get on Mito's good side or you insulting her when she offered to be your friend only to pretend to accept and mock her in front of everyone at the Academy to win Mito and Menma's favor, right? After all, she's just a delinquent, there's no way she could be anyone important, right?"

She kept her head down, she could feel Itachi's disappointment seeping through her along with her father's.

Itachi thought, 'Well, Obito was right, Naruko's behavior did have a reason, when I get the chance I will apologize, although I don't think she will accept this, Mother is going to throw a massive fit against them both. I'd almost feel sorry, but I don't. With his Headhunter personality leeching into his speech, he must be really angry.'

Fugaku, inwardly groaned, 'This is not good, Mikoto knew about Sasuke's crush on her, when she hears about this she'll skin him and Satsuki for her part. I need to make my own reparations, but how do you connect with someone who considers if not most of the village a lost cause and shut herself down completely?'

Iruka turned to Kurenai who was silent up until this point, "So that's why you prevented me from having her on my team?"

"Oh no, that's one of the reasons, the first and primary reason is that she wanted to kill you for making her relive that, as being slighted in such a fashion unprovoked with old laws in play and still active the last time I checked, she would have broken your body and done the same thing to Hinata for her association with you before torturing and beheading Yakumo, she would leave you just broken enough that you will live, before forcing you into a genjutsu-bonified hell, until you live well past 80, so, there's that."

Kurenai looked sick, "She couldn't."

Iruka plainly stated, "She could and would."

"I always wondered why you looked at me with loathing"

"As if I could look at you with anything other than loathing when you have your student put Naruko through that hell. So yes, I detest you, Yuuhei with all the blood, bone, and marrow in my body that I can muster, I detest you. If I could I would have killed you just for that, damn the consequence, but I'm not willing to damn her in my attempt to get you."

"You loathe me to such an extent?"

"Yuuhei, that girl is practically a daughter to me and you made her relive one of the worst things a girl could experience because of your arrogance that she refused to listen to you, the Kyuubi could form right and torture you for the next 1000 years and still wouldn't be enough. I'll settle for you being miserable, that is a late second I'll gladly settle with."

She winced in turn.

Minato was torn between wanting to hug or choke Iruka, for being such a staunch pillar in Naruko's corner.

Kushina felt a migraine building as she wanted to go to sleep, the room was filled with tension.

Minato took in a deep breath to calm himself, he was a bundle of nerves, his daughter was going on a massacre, sanctioned by the civilian council to kill her in one of the worst ways possible and there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it until midnight. His daughter was handling it fairly well, which filled him with both joy and disappointment that he didn't do anything to harvest that strength. And the abundance of paperwork and doling out proper punishments. And it's not even noon.

'Oh God, the day's barely started and I just want to sleep for a damn month. Why Orochimaru wanted this damn position who fucking knows.'

I hope you all enjoy this chapter, it took some time, especially re-writing some parts, after all, the world is massive and filled with powerful and unique characters. I gathered a handful of them to challenge Naruko who spent her childhood facing possibly some of the vilest pieces humanity gave birth to. The way she fights is a testament to her strength and her way to cripple and outright kill opponents, she has no choice but to fight brutally, to give mercy is to be subjugated against those who would deliver fates worse than death. She suffered many crippling blows and had to come back from them in order to pull herself back together. Her medical knowledge and healing jutsu is a result of constant and near-death-defying practice and end results.

I hope you take notice of the term 'Army-Breaker' because that's exactly what Naruko is going to be along with War Deterrent, as few people got that title added to their name and moniker, Minato Namikaze is the only one in Konoha with that moniker, Kushina Uzumaki-Namikaze has to Flee on Sight order along with several others. The sealed demon containers are war deterrents on their scale, but it's another thing for a non-container to have a war deterrent on their name. The primal invoking of fear when Minato slaughtered countless men on the battlefield led to Iwa pulling out of the war. Naruko slaughtering her enemies brought to Konoha by the civilian council in order to kill her, a handful of powerful enemies brought down by her hand will lead to her getting her own moniker and her status as a flee on sight or war deterrent depending on the country.

The phrase, the Ax forgets but the tree remembers is something to take to heart as Naruko is the tree, the majority of Konoha is that ax.

What Itachi meant, by Headhunter's personality is that Iruka used to be in the ANBU along with him, had a lot of anger to vent out over the Kyuubi but soon made peace with it, although traces of that violent personality still remain.

Thank you for the reviews!

zero fullbuster - I'm glad you enjoyed it and I'm glad to be back, I hope to update the other stories, soon enough.

dannyrockon122 - Thank you and Naruko practically thinks the rookies, minus Guy's team as she never personally met them are dead to her. They get retribution in a different way, Naruko has already washed her hands clean of them as she considered them a lost cause.

New Elements92 - Don't worry I will.

Reedz22 - I'm glad you enjoy it.

Sweatyshadowfox - Believe me I know, it's been far too long since I've updated this story and the rest of them.

Guest#1 - I'm glad you enjoyed the story and believe me, Minato will be very cross with Tsunade, he's starting to realize he's guilty, but he's gonna go on a tear across Konoha. Tsunade is gonna be one of the main ones he'll get after. Tsunade hates Naruko for the extra work she has to go through due to the constant beatings and in combination with a bad day, lack of alcohol, and the assumption of Naruko's delinquent behavior caused her to snap and ban her from the hospital. It doesn't matter one bit though, she's in huge trouble for her part, especially when Minato gets his hands on Iruka's reports over her injuries. Believe me, the Kyuubi is gonna be very difficult about giving them chakra and well, they need to know the effort of hard work. They expect to have everything come to them so easily, especially when the day is out. They are gonna know what it's like to be in Naruko's shoes and take severe punishment.

ParadoxTheory374 - I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Yuzuki476 - My sincerest apologies, I can't abide by that request, besides, Naruko despises Satsuki and Sasuke and she wouldn't force that tension in the home, the difference in personality, but I can see them becoming comrades and sparring partners. Naruko will be put through the wringer, but Naruko wouldn't have it any other way. Believe me, the sky will fall and the heavens will burn before Naruko falls in Konoha.

starravenwolf - I hope you will enjoy this chapter and the upcoming ones, Naruko's torment drives her actions and her will to keep living. Naruko gets a lot of anger out from using those punching bags and training dummies that the civilian council so greatly gave her. It also helps that, she's racking up a bill in their name so they are immediately in deep shit. Believe me, between Minato and Naruko, all of them will be begging for death but neither of them will give that mercy. Death is freedom from suffering and they want them to suffer greatly for their actions.

Aclux - Believe me when I say that Minato will punish them harshly along with the civilian council members, but they will be left alive in such a wretched state, unable to fight back and continue their punishment until death as a living reminder that he is not to be crossed. He's gonna be pissed, he has his punishment, but he's furious that he has been misled all these years by his own people who had it out for his daughter, including two of his own children. He wants asses on plates by the end of today and when it's finally the next day, they'll get that hell they forced Naruko to experience and claw her way out of, but they won't get the chance to claw at all. He's gonna make them pay in blood and with interest.

jeremiahkelley93 - I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Irbrenneke - In that current time when everyone was against her, which would lead to more trouble, no. She was not gonna give them any more ammo to use against her. Through constant beatings, they knew they weren't going to win and just gave up. If she killed them, it would have started a riot, causing the council, still, under the illusion Naruko was a troublemaker now killer to put her in place, which could lead to disownment then Danzo would have free reign to take her in. At the time, she was too young and in a vile state of health with little support. She did not want Iruka taken out in a crossfire between her and the old mummy.

darkangelflame - I hope you will enjoy it, I hope the battles are okay, because this chapter is basically the introduction, with multiple long battles so I may have to cut this chapter into several more before dealing with the last and the conclusion. Either way, I hope you will enjoy it and take care.

Red Mage of Balance - Believe me, they are gonna need a giant ass hole for the bodies Naruko is about to drop. The bonfire is for the celebration of Naruko's impending victory.

volcasiron30 - Oh they are gonna be a lot of dead bodies, I just hope you enjoy the massacre.

Shadow Walker of Fire - I'm glad you enjoyed it, that makes me happy, believe me, I'm working on it.

DA Exodus - On occasion, yes, even Naruko needs the chance to wind down a bit after that, this is gonna be one for the history books and well, there may be another mini-Minaot that Iwa will be scared shitless of.

Crio Yaroi - Oh, you have no idea, it's gonna be brutal and Konoha is gonna see the blood maiden they created from years of maltreatment. The literal She-Devil herself.

Gammagryro - Oh, believe me, Iruka is gonna spill everything about it, to the point that it makes him furious. Minato is gonna go on a tear with Kushina right behind him. The medical exam will be provided by a trusted doctor from the capital of the Fire Country under Daiymo's order. The foreigners, you'll have to wait for, but the rookies outside of Guy's team are gonna get a new hole ripped into them. You'll see Yakumo's fatal mistake when she did what Kurenai ordered her to do, but it will backfire, and she will see the exact reason why Naruko detests her and Satsuki. Naruko's expectations are perfectly fine, especially considering how much she loathes them, especially Team 7 and Team 12. And exactly, you can't burn a bridge and expect to walk across it the next day for work. That's something all of them will come to realize and Kakashi needs to deal with it. If he thinks he can strong-arm her into having a loving relationship with her 'comrades-in-arms' he needs to get off the crazy train. Regardless, thank you for your review, and take care.

Guest#2 - I'm glad you enjoy the story, but I'm sorry there will be no relationship between Naruko and any Konoha afflicts.

Nomadic Chaos - I'm glad you enjoyed it, Kakashi really screwed the pooch with Naruko and him trying to force comradery, which doesn't work in reality nor in anime. Him trying to get her to kowtow to his way of running a team is going to be like pulling teeth with no end result. Naruko's iron grip on her temper was forged through years of maltreatment and abuse. There's no way in hell Naruko would be buddy-buddy with most of Konoha who damned her on rumors and hearsay. The rookies have already chosen their sides and now they have to stick with it, Naruko already tried once, she has no qualms about being brutal to those who try to enter her circle thinking they swept what happened in the Academy under the rug. If anything, they should be lucky, she's icy and apathetic, if she leaned more on Kushina's temperament, they'd be dead already. The idea with Mito and Menma is brilliant, I just need the perfect moment of where to put it, so thanks for the idea. Minato really is stuck between a rock and a hard place, how can he fix this, and if he even could? Oh, decisions, decisions. I'm glad you enjoy my stories and found inspiration from them as the summary you gave sounds interesting in itself. PM me when you post the first chapter. Have a great day too!

Patriot-M89 - Oh they both have their own unique quirks and talents, and yeah, you have no idea. Hope you enjoy it.

Guest#3 - Oh you have no idea, no one is going to forget that day for a long time.

Skull Flame - I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter and I really hope you enjoy this one and the upcoming ones. Mito wanted a sister, yet bullying her due to not getting a read on her is a silly excuse, especially since it doesn't fly. Anyone who is anyone knows you can't crap on a person constantly and expect to have a relationship. She finds Kakashi to be a hypocrite, he can't even see the truth when it's before him. When you are too close in a scenario, he missed glaring signs that things aren't what they seem. Oh, believe me, he will, especially after today when Naruko shows off her stuff. Both Satsuki and Yakumo are, but Yakumo is worse due to what she did to Naruko on Kurenai's orders. Even if she didn't know, what memory it would dredge up, she's guilty and damn lucky she isn't in a matchbox.

Guest #4 - I'm glad you are interested, that makes me very happy and I hope you will enjoy the next several updates.

littleditto - I'm glad you enjoyed it so far.
