On the island of Melemele In the Alola region, there are two siblings going to the park to play. One of them was Marcy Wu, a five year old Taiwanese girl that has olive skin, shirt shiny black hair with three different colored beads tied up with small ponytail, and dark brown oval eyes wearing light yellow shirt, darkish greenish overall dress, grey socks and teal crocs shoes.

Along with her eight year old brother, Eddie Wu who's is also Taiwanese. He had the same olive skin and black hair like his sister, but he's wearing a light grey cap on his head, grey t-shirt with a brown Lilypup on it, black and blue shorts, long socks, and blue tennis shoe.

They were both born in the Unova Region in a city called Castelia where the bug type gym specialist Burgh who just became the gym leader. There Mom worked as Burgh's art manager at some of the museums. While there father worked as a scientist. 2 years ago he got a job at famous company who wants to revolutionize the world. Mr. Wu agreed to go because it would be a big opportunity for him. His family supported him, they wished him good luck at his new job. But, when he returned he was like a different person. He became distant and cold towards his family. Then he began to see his family less and less. As he only now care about his job. This put a strain on his relationship with his wife and his family. They felt very lonely, Marcy had it worse since he never acknowledged her of anything she was interested in, at least not like her used to before he got that job.

The last straw happened a month ago when a detective came to the Wu residence he was in his mid twenties, he wore black loafers, brown suit pants, white shirt with a pink tie, lighter brown vest and an investigators coat. He has brown eyes, dark hair, dark eyebrows and inquisitive look.

When Mrs. Wu opened the door the young detective was greeted by a Taiwanese women who is 28 years old, she had short neatly black hair, olive skin, had the same eyes as her daughter and son's, wore a pink jacket, orange dress shirt, blue pants, and white socks.

"Hello, Is there a Patricia Wu here?" The detective asked.

"That's me, who's asking and who are you?" Ms. Wu asked.

The young detective took a deep breath to introduce himself.

"My name is Looker Wright. I'm an officer at the international police."

"Oh my arceus, is my husband alright? He works at a company overseas."

Mrs. Wu explained.

"Your husband is still alive Mrs. Wu, but he's in a lot of trouble."

Looker said.

"Trouble, what kind of trouble?" Mrs. Wu asked.

Looker took another deep breath before talking to Mrs. Wu again.

"A man named Blaine Forge had identified your husband as one of the people that experimented on children which resulted to their deaths. He worked in the same company as your husband. There is evidence that the unknown company that your husband worked for was also a cover for a criminal organization called Team Core. All the members are wanted to for multiple death of the village of Bal Des Sola that includes the other scientist especially your husband Xavier Wu."

"There has to be a mistake my husband would have never have experimented on children! He has a daughter and son for Arceus's sake!!"

"That scientist had to have been mistaken!" Mrs. Wu said in rage.

"Listen Mrs. Wu I know your upset that you found out that your husband has committed horrible crimes. But, there is evidence against your husband and another witness that your husband confessed his crimes too."

"Who?" Mrs. Wu asked.

"A little five year old girl named Hikari Uzumaki she and three other children who survive. Her family was killed by members of Team Core."

"What about the other three children were they?" Mrs. Wu asked in worry about the three children.

"No Mrs. Wu, Thank Arceus no, it's thanks to Hikari Uzumaki that those three kids are still alive. She sacrificed herself so those children wouldn't get caught by Team Core. He even though it was your husband and the team that he worked with caused her so much pain!"

Looker was very angry of what Xavier Wu did to Hikari and those children.

"Has your husband contacted you at all recently?" Looker asked.

"No, Officer Wright I haven't had any contact with him. She said while crying.

"Mom is everything alright why are you crying? Why is there an officer here?" Eddie her son asked when he heard shouting and crying.

Mrs. Wu looked at her son and was thinking of what she would say to him and Marcy about Xavier how he experimented other kids their own age in the name of science.

Patricia looked at Looker before looking at her son.

"Eddie this is Officer Looker he just told me that your father just passed away in an accident while on a trip with the company he works for."

"Daddy's… dead." Eddie said as he cries, he hugged his mother for comfort which she complies. Patricia looked at Looker pleading to never tell her children the truth of what happened to their father.

Looker decided to honor her wish just like he did with Tom and Zoe Waybright a few weeks ago.

After Xavier's fake funeral. Looker found her a new job as a school teacher in Alola they had to move away so Xavier would never find them. Also because of a new criminal organization was on the rise in Unova Team Newt. They may look like a helpful organization, but underneath it all was a setup to get people to give up there pokemon. They even came close to physical violence. Even the police here in Unova ignored the young trainers cry for help. He wanted the Wu's to feel safe, that's part of why he convinced Mrs. Wu to move to the Alola region. Which she happily agreed too.

Back in the Alola region in Melemele Island Eddie kept his little sister close to him for protection from getting injured lost by accident. He loves his little sister more than anything. A month has past since the move.

As they grew up in Unova, Eddie brought Marcy to the park in Castelia City where she could meet some kids, but she was a little shy around them. Maybe moving to Alola could help Marcy open up to the other kids. Eddie thought. Besides school starts for both of them on Monday. It would be Marcy's first day of school for Kindergarten where she will be in the same school as her brother. They can still hang out together at recess.

"Well here we are." Eddie said.

Marcy was holding her brother's hand and looked around where most five year olds are playing around. He looked at her smiling toward his sister.

"Is this where I can make friends?" Marcy asked when nervous.

"That's right. Since school start by Monday, you'll have plenty of friends." replied Eddie.

"What if they didn't want to be my friends?" She asked sadly.

"Don't worry. I'm sure it's gonna be alright. I promise."

She forms her small smile at him. Without warning, two hands flew in front of his eyes, blocking his view.

"Guess who!"

"Uuuuhhhhhh…" Eddie was confused.

"Bailey!" Marcy chimes.

Once the girl's hands uncovers Eddie's view, he turns around and looked surprised that Bailey is standing there smiling. She has orange hair with freckles, wearing red long sleeve shirt with white stripe, olive green short pants, purple bracelets, and red tennis shoes. What's up, guys?"

"Oh! H-hi Bailey." Eddie shyly waves at her.

Marcy went up to get her a quick hug.

"I missed you!" said Marcy.

"Hey, Mar-Mar. So good to see you." replied Bailey.

"Guess what? Eddie and I watch a grand trial with Kahunna Hale!"

"Really? How was the match?"

"It was amazing! Hale used Hariyama to defeat Golem by using arm thrust to knock it out. The trainer thanked Hale for the match."

"I'm glad you enjoyed the match."

"Thank you!"

Bailey giggles when it's cute that Marcy talks. Ever since they moved a month ago, Bailey attends the same pokemon school as Eddie and they became friends, but little they did not noticed that he has a huge crush on her. Eddie grew quite shy around her. Then he shook his head off before turns to his sister.

"Hey, Marcy? How about you go ahead and make some new friends." Eddie suggested.

"Okay." said Marcy before she skips ahead to the playground.

"As Eddie and Bailey were watching her heading to the playground, they were smiling.

"She's really cute." said Bailey.

"Yeah, she sure is." replied Eddie. "So, how's your day going?"

"It's going great! Mrs. Padilla me when I get attached to her."

"Cool! Have you decided to call her mom?"

"Maybe, but I'll try." Bailey blushed a bit.

Meanwhile, a little boy is sitting on a swing until Marcy shows and sits on the swing next to him.

"Hi, I'm Marcy! You wanna be my friend? said Marcy.

But the boy was a bit shy around her while she speaks.

"It's okay, I'm a bit shy too. Do you know that Hariyama is a arm thrust Pokemon?

Although they enjoy comparing their strength, they're also kind. They value etiquette, praising opponents they battle-"

The boy couldn't stand the fact she talks a lot until he decided to get off the swing and left Marcy alone. She was sitting there, watching him leave making her sad a bit.

However, she sees a little girl with a ponytail that she climbs on top of the slide. Marcy smiles and decided to talk to her instead once she got off the swing and climbs up to her before she greeted.

"Hi! Do you want to be friends? I know a girl who likes pokemon. Have you heard of a pokemon called Hariyama? He's my brother's favorite pokemon! I love pokemon more than anything-"

The little girl I can't handle Marcy's talking about her interest until she slides down to get away from her. Marcy watch the girl leaves and then went sad once again, but then she saw another girl sitting in the sandbox of turtle. She raise her smiles before she slides down to go talk to her until she approaches to her when stop playing with the sand.

"Hi, my name is Marcy! You want to be my friend?" Marcy sits on the sandbox next to her. "Are you building a sandcastle? Or are you going to dig up treasure? I know I would! Have you ever watch a grand trial? I did once with my big brother. It was amazing- "

Then she pauses her talk when the girl got up and left her alone in the sandbox. She looks down sadly, feeling like she gives up. Marcy got up from the sandbox, walked over to the picnic table and sat down. No matter how hard she tried, but no one would ever wants to be her friend. Poor girl was getting to close to tears, but suddenly a little girl approach.

She looks up at her like around her age, but a Thai-American girl with bushy hair. She's wearing wearing dark and light lavender striped shirt, dark blueish purple pants, and yellow sneakers. She looks pretty smiling at her when she speaks.

"Hi there. My names Anne. What's your name?"

Marcy was staring her like this girl was talking to her. Could this be her only chance to have a new friend? Then she smiles.

"I'm Marcy. Do you like magic, too. Have you ever watch a grand trial? The Kahunna Hale is a fighting specialist! I started to like pokemon when-"

She quickly covered her mouth when she realize that she did it again. Anne was just staring at her like that. Does she thinks that it's boring? What would she say if she talks too much? But instead, Anne forms her smile.

"That's a cool fact! What else do you know?"

Marcy couldn't believe what just happened. Can this be true? Does Anne really like her intreats? Then she started to smile with stars in her eyes.

"Do I?!" Marcy gasp smiling.

Ann sat down next to her when she likes to hear more about it.

"Yeah, tell me all about it." said Anne.

"Okay I started to like pokemon when my mommy took me to see Prof. Juniper and his pokemon in his lab when I used to live in the Unova region, then my big brother introduced me to a lot of bug pokemon in Burgh's studio. My favorite bug pokemon in Unova is joltik." said Marcy.

"Really my favorite bug pokemon is cutiefly because how cute it looks! Anne smiles.

"Really?!"

"Yeah! Me and my Mom found a bunch of Cutieflys when I was younger. Is it okay if I call you Mar-Mar? I heard someone calls you by nickname."

The Taiwanese girl started to blush a little when she felt surprised.

"Uh-huh. My brother calls me by nickname sometimes." replied Marcy.

"Don't worry. I'll keep it a secret. Say, you wanna be my friend?"

Marcy felt her heart warmed. No one has ever asked her to be her friend. Then she felt so happy that Anne likes to be her friend when she returns her smile.

"Sure!"

Later on, Anne and Marcy has started to play together as they swing back and forth when they go up higher.

"Look Mar-Mar! I'm an eagle!" Anne chimes.

"Cool! Well, I'm a twin engine cemax amphibious aircraft!" said Marcy.

They started to laugh as they're having so much fun, but then their laughter which switched as they scream, falling off from the swings and rolls over the sandbox. Once they recover themselves, they looked up to sees two mean girls that just grabs the swings to fling them out.

One that has raven hear wearing her light blue and grey stripe shirt, dark blue jeans with ripped open on her knees, and brown boots and the girls has ginger hair with pigtails tied by red ribbons, wearing her dark red jacket, green shirt with a star, short pants, socks, and a dress shoes.

"Oh, how cute. Now bear it. These swings are ours."

The mean girls sat down at the swings. Both Anne and Marcy started to shed their tears that they just hurt them. It's not fair, but then someone just shouted.

"Not so fast, evildoers!"

"Their tears were halted by and turns their head to a little girl who was standing on top of the slides. She has blond hair wrapped in a ponytail with a purple scrunchie, wearing dark blue jeans jacket, pink shirt, dark pink skirt, long socks, and dress shoes. She was glaring at those bullies that messes with.

"Leave those kids alone!"

She slides down and then jumps off to prepare her karate kick with her battle cry.

"Whoa!" Anne and Marcy were amazed like no one has ever seen any kid do a kung fu. When she's about to hit them, but the mean girls move their swings out of the way like it was nothing until the girl lands flatly to the ground. She gets up and raising her fist to punch them, but they moved again when she missed and fell to the sand castle. She raises her heads up, then spits out sands, and then gives them a glare.

"I'm not done yet. I'll never give up! No matter what!"

She lets out her battle cry when raising her fist, but she trips and falls to the ground flatly. The mean girls looked annoyed that this is embarrassing.

"This is getting weird."

"Yeah, we're out of here. Enjoy your swings, babies."

They got off from the swings and left that they left the girls alone. Anne and Marcy were shocked that they just give up the swings. They turned their heads at the girl when she got up as the girl thought that she got up as the girl thought that she got rid of them.

"Swings are all yours!" Before the girls walk away, but Anne spokes to her.

"Hey, you wanna swing with us?" Anne asked kindly.

"I-I'd like that."

Just then, Anne and Marcy got up and walks towards her as they properly introduce themselves."

"I'm Anne, by the way. This is Marcy."

"Hiya." Marcy greeted shyly.

The girls smiles at their new friends when she introduced herself.

"I'm Sasha, Sasha Waybright!"

"Nice to meet you Sasha. I can tell, we're gonna be best friends. Right Mar-Mar? said Anne.

"Yeah! We can be friends now!" Marcy chimes.

"Cool!" Sasha smiles.

Just then a young boy approached them.

The little boy has brunette hair, wearing a green shirt, blue pants, and white sneakers.

"Oh, hi Ethan these are my friends Anne and Marcy. Guys meet Ethan Day I met him in kindergarten when I defended him from some bullies." Sasha explained.

"Good to see you again Sasha."

"Likewise Ethan." Sasha said.

"Hi!" Marcy waved.

"Hello it very nice to meet you." Ethan said.

"Thanks. Wanna join us?" Anne asked.

"Sure." replied Ethan.

A little far away from them, Eddie and Bailey went to check on Marcy, but what surprising them that his little sister did make a few friends. They were smiling at them.

"Well, I'll be a aipom's uncle." Bailey surprised. "Marcy's making a lot of new friends."

"Huh, how about that." Eddie smiles proud at his sister.

Anne and Marcy are swinging when being pushed gently by Sasha and Ethan.

When they're playing tag Marcy chases after Ethan, but trips over the ground.

Anne rush over to her aid and gently lots her up, then she raise her head up and turns out that she's okay as Anne felt relief.

As they all climb the jungle gym when Anne hangs upside down and pretends to be an aipom, making her friends laugh.

All four kids that were on the roundabout when Sasha spins as they all shred with their laughter . Even Ethan was a bit scared, but Marcy took his hand and holds onto to let him know he will be alright.

Once they're taking a break. Sasha is pretending to do sword fight with Anne with their sticks as the others watch them smiling that neither one of them is going to win.

While Sasha and Marcy are doing patty cake, while Ethan was watching them play.

Anne suddenly is calling her name.

"Hey, Anne!"

They turned their heads at a little boy, a twin brother who has same skin color and a small short bushy hair like Anne. He's wearing his orange and white stripe t-shirt, blue shorts, and blue sneakers.

Anne smiles that her twin brother has he arrived.

"What took you so long?" Anne teased.

"Sorry, I'm late, but I helped a kid who needs some comfort." replied the Thai boy.

Then she can see a little boy took step closer and looked shy around them. Her friends were quite curious, but Marcy however noticed that this boy looks like Anne.

"Is that your twin brother?" Marcy asked smiling.

"Oh, I almost forgot. My name is Andrew, but my sister calls me Andy." said Andy when he introduce himself.

"I'm Marcy! This is Sasha and Ethan. Marcy introduced.

"Hello!" Ethan chimes.

"Nice to meet you." Sasha said.

They started to talk about there interests. Eddie and Bailey saw the whole thing as toddlers are chatting each other. She thinks it's so adorable that they're all playing together.

"Isn't it sweet?" They're all became friends." said Bailey.

"Guess I don't have to worry about it huh?" replied Eddie.

"Yeah, and you know what?"

"Huh."

"Do you think that you can handle them all at once?"

"What makes you say that, Bails?"

"Oh, you know. Like babysitting." Bailey teased.

"Thanks, but I'm gonna keep it anyway. At least for now." replied Eddie.

"Okay, you win." Bailey chuckled. "It's nice to have your sister to make some friends like us."

She'd holding her hands with Eddie, then the way they looked at each other, they're were blushing. Eddie looks away, very shy while Bailey giggles. The Taiwanese boy turn his head at his sister that they still playing with laughter and joy. Come to think of it how this all turned out just fine.

"Maybe… bringing her here wasn't so bad after all." said Eddie.

Then we looked up to the sunny sky with a bit of cloudy until it flashes into white as we skip five years.

During that day at the Pokemon School on Melemele Island, a school where young people learn about pokemon and how boys and girls can become trainers. This is the school where Anne and her friends are.

Right now this class ended which give most students to walk to their class or lockers to get their school works ready including notes and books. Just then when a 10 year old girl approach to her locker. She has chocolate brunette long hair, wearing a pale blue t-shirt with a yellow skirt, and pair of black boots. This is Tyler Pepper soon to be Tyler Harmonia.

She'd just attended this school for 3 months since she and her family moved here 4 years ago since she and her Mom moved from the Galar Region. Now she and her Mom are going to move to Unova since her Mom got married to Ghetsis Harmonia. He has a son name is N or Natural Harmonia. She and her friends helped her pack up all her boxes. This was her last day in the Alola region. They had a goodbye party to Tyler and her Mom before they were sent out to the Unova region. Everyone in Alola actually attended including Professors and the Kahunna -s.

"Hey, Tyler."

Tyler Pepper turns her head and smiles warmly at a friend she always knew.

"Hi, Ethan. What's up?

"Hey Tyler have you seen Sophocles? We were going to do our project on the ability called lightning rod. For Mrs. Wu's class.

"Hmm, I don't know. But I'll see what I can do." replied Tyler.

"Thanks, Tyler. I was going to show him to my project that I've been working on."

"Oh, cool. What kind of project?"

But, before Ethan could talk more about it, the PA announcement turns on throughout the hallway.

"Attention, students. This is yet another reminder that the pink powder inside the soap dispenser is not candy dust, so please-."

Out of nowhere, the PA speakers were hacked and a familiar voice echoes throughout the hallway.

"What's up Pokemon School! Instead of that boring stuff, how about an awesome K-pop dance party?"

Then the next thing has happened with the lights went out and light beams raging across the halls with the music, As If Its Your Last by Blackpink. All students cheered as they dropped their papers and bags in the process and danced the day away. Ethan and Tyler took their glance that they both know who started the party.

"Sasha." They both said with unison.

Then there was another student, Kiawa who was weaning red and black shorts, wears a clover necklace one of the petals had a red color, he was shirtless. Short black spiky hair, dark skin, and brown eyes, along with sandles. He was confused when most students are dancing in the hallway until he just shrugged and then joins the party.

Inside the janitors closet, Anne and Marcy were all inside with cages of Lillypups. They are now 10 years old now. Anne still has brown bushy hair, wears a pink and white shirt with an orange fire on a shirt, blue shorts and yellow sneakers. Marcy's hair is a bit shorter then it was five years ago. She wore a purple shirt, blue shorts, and green sneakers.

"Hey, do you guys really think we should be doing this?" Anne asked when concerned.

"Of course. It's not like anyone's get hurt. Unleash the puppers!" Marcy chimes.

Anne let all the Lillypups loose from their cages. The kids at the pokemon school had gone crazy as they ran in the halls to try a catch the Lillypups.

Anne and her friends were regrouped by none other than Sasha, the girl who started it all. Ethan, Tyler, and Kiawa joins the party with the others. Without a care in the world, they were having a blast.

Sasha Waybright is 10 years old girl, wears a pale blue shirt with a pink collar, covered by a dark blue jean jacket, a short pink skirt, white socks, and a pair of black Mary Janes shoes with small heels. As time went on, Sasha gained popularity, became head practice pokemon battler. Which she has top grades in battles, Marcy, Anne, Ethan, and Tyler tied for second place by using the school's pokemon. She got many more people to adore her.

Suddenly the music stops when the lights were turned on again stunning all six of them. The next thing they'd expected was Vice Principal Murphy, their school's Vice Principal who's wears a grey dress shirt, grey booties and wears gold earrings and a purple bracelet. Vice Principal Murphy was standing there tapping her foot as a Lillypup chews on her black dress pants while Marcy's Lillypups was sitting on her head wagging in his tail.

"All of you. My office. Now."

All six of them gulped. She looks very displeased.

Later on, they're all sitting outside in the chair at the front office where most students were sent to the Vice principal's office.

Most of them looked concerned about this, but Sasha doesn't care until she heard the Vice Principal calls her name.

"Waybright, you're up."

Sasha got up and went to the principal's office before she closes the door behind her. While they're waiting for her. While they're waiting for her Anne looked concerned about what to expect.

Ethan, Tyler, and Kiawa are the only ones that didn't get to sent to the Vice Principal's office because they have witness for party pranks. With all due respect, she immediately dismisses them and saying that the three of them are off the hook. However, they wanted to help Anne to make her feel better.

"Hey it's going to be okay, Anne." said Tyler soothingly.

"I know, Tyler. But how can you be so calm?" Anne asked.

"Well, let's just say that I wasn't evolved. But it was a cool party."

"Yeah, you three are lucky that didn't get caught." said Anne

"What can I say. I was just minding my own business." Kiawa said.

"Ditto." Ethan agrees.

"Hey, Anne? Does Andy know about this?" Marcy asked.

Anne recalls that her twin brother, Andy also attended school when things changed. She doesn't want to be felt like being overprotective whenever she ends up getting into trouble.

"We'll most of it." Anne replied.

Then suddenly, the door opens when Sasha exits the office, looking like she went off so easily.

"All your's Marce." said Sasha.

Marcy got off from seat and waved at her friends before she went to the principal's office and closes the door behind her.

"Was it bad?" Anne asked when concerned.

"Nah. Mrs. Murphy just said she wished my leadership skills went toward something positive." replied Sasha.

Just then, when Marcy comes out and just shrugs off with a smile.

"She was impressed with how I hacked the PA system and told me not to do it again. You're up next Anne." said Marcy.

"Let's go to the mall after school." Sasha suggested.

"Heck ya! See you on the other side!"

Anne got up and walk straight into the office after closes the door behind her and sits down on the chair before snapping her finger.

"Sup, dude?"

Vice Principal Murphy looks very serious when Anne acted like this.

"Sup" Is that I'm worried about you Boonchuy." said Vice Principal Murphy.

"Oh? Like, me specifically ? Or -."

"Yep. Sasha gonna boss her way through life, Marcy will probably solve world hunger or something, but you…" When she pulls out a big folder with a bunch of papers and sticky notes sticking out and pulls out a piece of paper with writing on it, along with "INCOMPLETE" and a bunch of red Xs written over it in red pen. "Incomplete after incomplete. Unfinished paper after unfinished paper."

Anne looked cringed that she's falling behind meaning that her grades are falling behind while the principal continues.

"You're a smart girl, Anne. But you'r just not applying yourself. In you I see someone who's just floating through life, taking the easy path."

"But I like the easy path, It's easy!" said Anne.

"It may be easy, but that doesn't make it right. Now be straight with me, those two pushed you into this prank, didn't they?" Vice Principal Murphy asked.

"What? No!" Anne denied at first, but the principal gave her a skeptical look, then Anne slouches down and crosses her arms. "Okay, yeah. Maybe."

"Look, I want you to write an essay for me."

"Say what now?" Anne puzzled.

"About what you want to do with your life, and what you're willing to do to make it happen."

"Wha-? But Sasha and Marcy didn't say anything about an essay."

"That's because they didn't have to write one."

"Oh. Ouch."

Vice Principal Murphy takes out a paper with the title "WHO AM I?, and then at Anne picking it up and looking at it.

"Anne, you get to choose the type of person you're going to be. Don't forget that."

She nodded and got off her chair, but Vice Principal Murphy remembers what she's going to say before the Thai girl leaves.

"Oh hey! Isn't tomorrow where you start your pokemon journey tomorrow? This journey will be your opportunity to find out what you want to be as a person and a trainer. You can hand your assignment in when you get back from Alola take all the time you need."

Anne smiles at the Vice Principal's response because the start of her journey is tomorrow, meaning she'll get her starter and Pokédex along with her brother and friends while traveling through out the Kanto Region to earn badges to compete in the Indigo League since the Alola League doesn't have League yet and you can only take the island challenge when you turn eleven. She and her friends didn't want to wait until eleven besides Tyler was leaving in the evening to live with her new father and older brother.

Anne then walks out and closes the door.

Anne walked out of school when she heard a voice.

"You okay sis."

She turns around to her head that there was a voice that she knew when her twin brother, Andy Boonchuy that almost looks like her, but his hair is shorter. He's wearing a pale orange t- shirt, navy blue shorts, and orange sneakers. Anne was quite surprised that Andy approach next to her after she picked up a short encounter.

"Yeah, I'm fine." replied Anne when looking down to the ground.

"Really? I noticed that you been kinda of down lately. Since that incident in school.

"You knew?"

"Of course I knew. Everybody knows that, and speaking of which. We're you throwing another prank again?"

Anne perks up when surprised. Guess the principal is not the only one who knows about that prank. "Who? Me? No!" Anne denied, but Andy gave her a skeptical look. "Okay, maybe I did a little."

"(Sigh) Anne, we talked about this." Andy sighed.

"I know, dude. But we were just having fun."

"If you are having fun, how come you let Sasha do what she tells you to do?"

"Hey, we support each other. That's what friends do."

Andy wanted to argue, but he couldn't. As her twin brother, all he ever do was to prevent her from getting into more trouble. He doesn't want her to get yelled at by their parents for skipping class or sneaking out from the house. Unlike her, he's the only boy in his family that he could ever bing responsible like their parents has always wanted.

"Look we'll discuss this later. We should probably head back home before dinner." said Andy.

"Wait, now?" Anne asked.

"Yeah, tomorrow we are going on our first pokemon journey. Remember?"

Anne remembers when she and her twin brother were going to the Kanto region along with their friends. Andy is in charge since he is one minute older than her. Sometimes they get into fights, but deep down they love each other. Right now, she realizes that she has to meet up with her friends without keeping Sasha waiting.

"Oh, well… about that." Anne took out her phone when she felt it buzzed in her pocket.

Andy looks suspicious that she's planning to head over, but he knew that her parents wouldn't let her.

"Anne we don't have time for this. Mom called that we're having for dinner to celebrate our start of our journey tomorrow. She also says she has to talk to you." Andy said.

"I know, but I promise that I should meet up our friends at the mall." replied Anne.

"Well, the mall will have to wait. Do you want to get into more trouble?"

She wanted to protest, but he had a point. She looked down at her text that Sasha send, then she sighed in defeat and texted Sasha when we were done.

"Okay, you win." Anne mumbled.

"See? That wasn't so hard." Andy smiles.

"Pfft, whatever dad."

"Right back at you, 'mom'."

They slightly laughed a bit after they teased each other. He walked over to his blue bike to unlock the lock and gets on while Anne does the same with her yellow bike. Once they put their helmets on, Andy smirked for a moment when they're about to head off.

"Last one is a rotten egg!" said Andy.

"Oh it's on!" replied Anne.

Then they sped off as the Thai twins rode their bikes back home. As much she likes to hang out with her friends, but the most important thing is when family comes first. Anne hopes that she doesn't upset Sasha after texting her back to her.

In the pokemon school we see a 13 year old Eddie and Bailey exiting their final class of the day. They had they partners with them Eddie's partner is a Alola Sandslash that is an ice and steel type. Bailey's partner is Oricorio a psychic and flying type pokemon. Eddie and Bailey had grown in the last 5 years. Eddie wore a green hoodie with a yin-yang symbol on it, blue jeans and brown shoes. Bailey wore a orange tank top, purple skirt, and white flate shoes.

"That prank has Sasha Waybright written all over it. Your sister and her friends must have helped her since there is no way Sasha could have hacked the PA system all on her own." Bailey said.

Eddie sighed, ever since her sister and friends started pokemon school they had become a team of trouble makers minus Andy of course since he's the responsible one. It's like every week they get sent to the Vice Principal's office. Mostly because of Sasha influence over them. He had a talk with Sasha a month ago about it. She just brushed him off, but he could tell she was only doing it to seek attention since her parents passed away 5 years ago like his and Marcy's father. As it turns out they worked in the same company as their father did. They were in the same accident. She felt bad for Sasha since her parents died, her aunt and uncle tried their best to raise her in Alola but, they had work overseas in the Sinnoh Region since they work in the Sinnoh league on week days they always come back on the weekends. That's the main reason Sasha gets into trouble most of the time so their Aunt and Uncle could come home early. Much to their dismay.

"Eddie Wu please report to the Principal's office." A person from the PA system said. Which made him really nervous. It was probably about Marcy. Since he didn't do anything wrong.

"I wonder what the Principal wants with you Eddie?" Bailey asked.

"I don't know Bail's but it probably about Marcy and how she got into trouble again." Eddie said disappointed in his sister of what she had done.

"I guess, I'll see you in school tomorrow Eddie." Bailey waved him a goodbye.

"See you tomorrow too Bails." Eddie returned the complaint as he head to Principal Oak's office.

Eddie knock on Principle Oak's door.

"Come in, come in." Principal Oak said.

Eddie walked into his office to see an elderly man with dark skin, long tan blond hair, brown eyes, wearing a green and white button shirt with blue shorts.

It's a golroll to meet you, Principal Oak has a habit to imitate other pokemon. Him and Marcy were the only ones enjoying his imitation while the others were creeped out about this.

"Principal Oak am I in trouble?" Eddie asked.

"On the contrary my boy. You have shown a lot of knowledge on Pokemon and how hard you fought in the Alola trials with your Sandslash." Eddie knew he had completed the Alola challenge two years ago along with Bailey. Marcy and his mother was so proud of him that they threw a party for him and Bailey. Marcy even bragged that she wanted to compete in the Island challenge just like him. It made him smile.

"The Kahunna's have given you a letter of recommendation for you to be a trial captain after you graduate from pokemon school. You get design your own trial for trial goers to compete in and earn a z crystal by defeating a totom pokemon of your choosing." Principal Oak explained.

"Thank you Principal Oak it is an honor to have the letter of recommendation from the Kahunna's. I thought you wanted me to come to your office because of my sister Marcy." Eddie explained.

"Well now that you mentioned it Eddie me and your mother are very concerned about her. I know tomorrow she and her friends are starting their journey to the Kanto Region. You remember last week that Marcy and her friends were in Vice Principal Murphy's room for skipping school to hang out at the mall. I had to call in your mother, the Boonchuy's, Tom and Zoe Waybright, The Day's and Mrs. Pepper to see them in my office. I had asked Mr. Planter to come in from Poni Island to discuss something with him. I told them that most of their children weren't ready to leave the Alola Region to travel all the way to Kanto because they were way too immature to go on a journey all except Andy he could go if he wanted too." Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy did said "Andy would have not wanted to go on a pokemon journey not without his sister. They told me Andy could watch over them since he was more responsible then the other kids." "I only disagreed since Andy was still a child himself and it would be asking too much of him to look after five other kids his own age. So I suggested they all delay their journey until the school saw them mature enough to let them go to other regions." Mrs. Pepper mentioned that she and Tyler would be moving to Unova next week to live with her new husband and son. So I decided to give her and her new husband the authority to decide if she was mature enough to start her own pokemon journey. Mr. Planter suggested that he would look after Anne, Sasha, Marcy, and Ethan by journeying with them to the Kanto Region. But, Mr. and Mrs. Day had a suggestion from Mister Day's older brother Grimothy Berserker who said "that he had already hand picked this trainer from Sinnoh to travel with Ethan in the Kanto Region." "I think his name was Paul Suji. Which I allowed for the Day's and Mr. Planter's request. If they didn't agree to this then they will be forcibly going back to the school until the staff and me see fit their mature enough."

Eddie sighed to think it had to come to this.

"Thank you for letting me know Principal Oak." Eddie said as he left his room and left the school.

Principal Oak looked down in sadness for not doing enough for these troubled kids. He can only hope by Mr. Planter looking after them that they would mature into great trainers.

Meanwhile in the different side of the neighborhood, on Poni Island in Wartwood. The Boonchuy's house is two stories high. On the houses, overlaid dark color tiled roof, there's a square -shaped rock chimney on the roof's top side and a green frisbee stuck on the right side. The house's walls are painted in white. The red minivan to parked outside of the garage where the basketball hoop was hanging.

It was close to the sunset when it's time for dinner. Speaking of dinner, we looked into the dining room where Anne and Andy are at the table after they got home, then sitting with their parents that they were having Thai traditions for dinner.

Their mother is Oum, who almost exactly like Anne, but has light wrinkles at the side of her eyes. She's wearing a purple-blue sweater, a pair of light color jeans, a pair of greenish-yellowish earrings, and seems to be barefooted.

And her husband, Bee is the father of the house and bears few resemblances to Anne, though mostly the dark brown hair. He wears a yellow polo shirt with red stripes having a blue shield like symbol at the heart area as well as a 3 at the back of his shirt, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of white socks.

They both have their golden wedding rings on their left fingers. While they're eating Thai meal for dinner, they start to have their own conversation about school when they take turns.

"So, Andy. How was school?" Oum asked.

"It's going great. I was in biology class about how pokemon from different regions adapt to the Alola's climates. Their appearance change and also their typing. Like if a Kanto Vulpix stayed on the mountains of Alola the Vulpix's body would adapt to the cold climate. It's fur would turn white and the typing would change from fire to ice and fairy. Andy explained to his parents.

"That is very good. Do you know they survive?"

"It's hard to tell, but all I know is that their type changes in order to survive."

"Tell me about it." Anne muttered while playing with her food.

"Oh before I forget. Son Mr. Planter has given you a couple of gifts." Oum said as she gave her son a red square device that looks like Kanto version of the Pokédex. There was also a red and white pokeball. Andy released it and out come a small mouse pokemon.

"It's a Pichu just the starter I always wanted thanks Mom" Andy said in tears.

"Your welcome my baby boy." Oum said.

"Hey Pichu, my name is Andy Boonchuy and I'm your new trainer. Together you and me are gonna go on amazing adventures together with my sister and our friends. Enter leagues and earn badges. Well partner will you join me on our journey together?" Andy asked as Pichu squealed in excitement. As Andy smiled at his partner.

"Now guys, let's not lose Anne's appetite." Said Bee when he teases a bit.

"So, Anne. How was your day at school?" Oum asked.

"Oh… it's going great." replied Anne oblivious.

"I see, but there's something that you should know."

"Like what?"

Andy looks up at his parents with his noodles hanging his mouth. Both parents share their glances before her husband speaks for her.

"Anne, we told you that you were sent to the Vice Principal's office after you pull that prank with your friends." said Bee.

"Wait, what? Who told you?" Anne asked.

"Why don't you ask your brother?" Oum gave a skeptical look.

Anne looked at her twin brother with noodles been hanging he slurps it into his mouth. She gives him a deadpanned looked. Then he swallowed and went shrugged with his nervous grin.

"Seriously, dude?"

Oum pinched her nose when shaking her head.

"Anne, how many times we've been through this? You know you're not supposed to do that while your in the pokemon school." said Oum.

"Oh, come on! We were just having fun." Anne protest.

"Like the time you've been partying up on the roof after you and your friends ditched theater?" Bee recalled.

Anne sulked to her seat with embarrassment.

"You're lucky that Andy was there to realize that it was all Sasha's idea, If it wasn't for him, we would've grounded you for a month." said Oum.

"Look, mom. I got it. Can we not just talk about this?"

"How about we talk about your grade keeps falling. I know how much you hate responsibility, but why can't you just be like your twin brother? He's smarter than this." said Bee when he's giving an example.

"Well, I tried. But all the teachers don't like me." said Anne.

"That's because you keep falling behind. We're worried because we love you. You're better then this." Oum responded with a parental tone.

"I know." Anne sighed.

She feels like she's being scolded. Her parents were doing their best to keep her daughter from failing behind at school. She's not like Andy. She never tells them how jealous she has been.

"I know it is tough, but you need to understand how hard this is. Tomorrow you are going with Mr. Planter along with your friends Sasha and Marcy. To the Kanto Region were you are going on your journey. Mr. Planter will give you a Pokédex and a starter. Then you will travel with him, Sasha, and Marcy to collect badges for the League. You must travel with Mr. Planter so he can keep an eye on you and your friends." Oum said.

"What why do I have to have Hop Pop look after me and my friends? I know Tyler is moving to Unova to go live with her new family. But, what about Ethan and Andy we were supposed to travel around the Kanto Region together!" Anne said in anger. Bee sighed at his daughter is taking the news hard.

"Anne this is not up for discussion your lucky Hop Pop has agreed to travel with you. Principal Oak wanted you, Sasha, Marcy and Ethan to stay in the Alola region until they knew you were ready to take on this journey with your friends. Since he and the staff deemed you and your friends irresponsible to journey alone. They were afraid of you guys getting hurt or worse. Me and your mother have to agree with him."

"This isn't fair we don't need a babysitter we could journey alone! What about Andy why isn't Hop Pop going to look after him too? Why isn't Ethan going to travel with us?" Anne said in anger.

"Anne the reason why Ethan couldn't go with you because the Day's have arranged Ethan's Uncle Grime to handpick who he would be journeying with someone responsible. As for Andy, he has proven he is responsible. That gives him the right to travel alone."

"Name one time I was irresponsible?" Anne challenged her parents. Andy and Pichu were in shock on how Anne had the guts to talk to their parents like that.

"How about the time you sneaked into a R rated movie?" Bee asked speciously.

"Well, it was only just one anti-superhero movie." Anne shrugged.

"Or the time you and your friends sneak in to the rescue live trial pokemon from the island challenges until the authorities arrives." Oum asked when raising her eyebrows.

"But they're were just babies! We couldn't let them starve! Anne protest.

"(Sigh) Look, can I be excuse for a moment. I need to pack up my stuff to take with me on my journey tomorrow. When I meet Prof. Planter to take us to the Kanto Region tomorrow." Anne got up from the table and left the dining area.

Oum was about to reach out for her daughter, but she couldn't. They were sitting in the table and do nothing, but staring at Anne going upstairs to her room. They started to look worried since Anne's been having sudden behavior.

Andy handed Pichu to his Mom as he went up stairs to talk with his sister who is busy packing.

Her thoughts were interrupted when she hears a door knock until Andy came in to check on her. Anne turned to see her brother with a concern look on his face.

"Hey may I come in?" Andy asked.

Anne can only respond when she nodded. He walked in and sat down on her bed. He wanted to help her. Being a sibling can only support one another. "After dinner, I'm really sorry for pushing you." Andy apologize to his sister.

"It's not that Andy." Anne said sadly.

"Is this about me and Ethan not going to be traveling with you and the girls." Andy deduced.

Ann wanted to deny this but she couldn't she nodded to him.

"Anne I know how much you wanted to travel with all of our friends. We don't have a choice since Principal Oak wanted to separate us since he felt it was the best option for us." said Andy.

"I knew that Tyler wouldn't be joining us since she had to move in with her new family in Unova. It's just it's so hard that you and Ethan won't be there either. Anne set her bag down as she sat down on her bed with her legs crossed. Andy is hurt when he sees Anne like this.

"Anne our parents and principal Oak are worried about you because they love love and care about you. You are the most special girl that I ever looked after." Andy said softly.

"Do you believe that," Anne asked as she nibbled.

"Of course, I do. We're pals, right?"

"Right"

"And we'll always be together, right?"

"Right" Anne chuckled.

"So I asked, what was the first thing that you ever stood up with?" Andy asked kindly.

"When you were being bullied by a jerk face? Anne guessed.

"Yeah that's right. Remember how we signed up for Muya Thai for self defense classes after you accidentally broke Mom's flower pot?"

"Oh yeah, how could I forget that? Anne slightly chuckled.

"Uh-huh, and that's how I aid you while our friends fend off those mean girls from the playground."

"Yeah, Andy. We were in a wolf pack."

"Or lion pride."

Anne started to feel better a bit. Andy loves to cheer her up whenever she needed.

"Hey, Andy?"

"Hmm."

"If we're both ten, so what now?" Anne asked.

"What do you mean?" Andy puzzled.

"You know we're growing up like when we're going on two different separate journeys. Then we get to go to the League now what?" Anne asked.

"It's hard to tell. But we're still young. Sisi ni Saw, we are the same."

"You've been practicing in Swahili haven't you?" Anne raises an eyebrow.

"You got me. Let's head down so Pichu can meet my lovely sister. Andy said.

Anne chuckled. "Maybe later I have to finish packing." Anne said as she continued to pack.

Meanwhile at the Day resistance: After their last day with Tyler at the mall before she moved away from the Alola region. Ethan returned to his house only to see his parents sitting down on the couch waiting for their son to come home across from them was an older man spiky black hair with bits of grey in it, he has a couple of wrinkles around the eyes. The man has a scare going across the left eye. He wore golden armor and brown boots. The man looked very strict until his face turned to a kind smile.

"It's nice to see you again nephew." A gruff voice said. Ethan looked shocked of what he just seen his Uncle he hadn't seen in the past 5 years.

"Uncle Grime what are you doing here?" Ethan asked his Uncle he hadn't seen in a long time.

"I'm here to take you with me to the Kanto Region where you'll meet Paul Shinji he's from the Sinnoh Region who agreed to travel with you. I met this young man a year ago while I had business to attend to in Sinnoh. He was a promising young trainer that could go far in his pokemon training career. I suggested to your parents to let you travel with Paul. They did refuse at first… but, they called me a week ago to let me know they had change their minds. They decided to let you travel with Paul on your journey Ethan." Grime said.

"Thanks but no thanks Uncle Grime, I'm going to travel with my friends tomorrow. Your going to have to tell Paul that I had other plans." Ethan said but, when Ethan looked at his parents they were not please with that answer.

"Ethan we are doing what we think it's best for you. You got to understand our position you and your friends put us through. Especially what happened a week ago when you and your friends skipped school." Ethan's mother Isabella Day said she has the same brunette hair as her son. She wore a pink floral dress and flower necklace that has purple and pink flowers. She wore purple sandals.

"Mom we were just having fun." Ethan defended his friends.

"Son, this type of behavior has gone on long enough!!" Ethan's Dad Jacob Day/Berserk like his brother he has spiky black hair but shorter, and green eyes like his son's. He wore a tan work shirt, black long pants, and grey sandals.

"At first I tried to be supportive of you and your friends Ethan I really tried. As time went by I noticed a couple of friends pushed you and Anne to do things that would get you into trouble. Your mother did convince me that it was a part of growing up to defy authority. Since me, Grime, and Beatrix did defy our family a couple of times in our youth." Grime just chuckled at the memory that he and his siblings got in trouble with there parents. "That was until you getting into trouble more often when you started pokemon school. Your mother and I had decided to take up your Uncle's offer to get you away from bad effluences. Like your friends Sasha Waybright and along with your other friends." Jacob told his son.

"Dad you can't be serious there my friends we had planes to go on this journey together!" Ethan argued.

"That's where your wrong son!" Jacob shouted.

"Your Principal agreed with us of our decision. As for your friends." Jacob said coldly about them.

"Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy had agreed to let Andy to go to the Kanto region alone with his starter his he's the responsible one. As for Anne, Sasha, and Marcy they'll be traveling the Kanto Region with Professor Hopidah Planter. So he could keep an eye on them so they won't cause any trouble."

"Guy's please don't do this!" Ethan argued with his parents.

"No, Ethan you will travel with Paul and that's final!!" "Refusing to comply with our wishes, we will have no choice but to deny you from becoming a trainer ever! We will take you out of the school and put you a public school where you will learn to become a respectable adult with no contact with pokemon ever again!!" You can forget about seeing those "friends" again Ethan they are no longer welcome in this house. I already told Principal Oak to have you change classes so you won't be with those delinquents ever again!" Jacob shouted.

Ethan couldn't believe this, his family was against him. Not only he can never seen his friends again, but his treat of becoming a pokemon trainer is in jeopardy as well. Ethan didn't want to end his friendship with Anne, Andy, Sasha, and Marcy they were his best friends. With his parents being highly authoritative towards him he had no choice but to comply with them or risk losing everything."

"When will I meet Paul Shinji?" Ethan asked.

His family smiled at him finally giving into their demands. To get them wrong they didn't want to threaten their son, but they were doing this to protect their son's future.

"We will meet them at the battle pyramid Ethan. Paul is going to see his older brother Reggie Shinji battle against Brandon for the seventh symbol of the battle frontier in the Kanto Region." Grime explained.

"What's the battle frontier?" Ethan asked.

"The battle frontier, is where trainers earned eight frontier symbols in each of the facilities by battling their top brain's. When you beat them you earned a symbol. Earn all eight and you complete the battle frontier. It said to be very difficult and only a few had manage to complete it. Then again there were only seven at the time. No one has ever completed all eight battle facilities since no one has made it that far."

"That's so cool Uncle Grime when I get stronger I'm going to challenge all the frontier brains and earn all symbols. Just you watch Uncle Grime I'll complete battle frontier."

"Grime was amused by his Nephew's spirit as he slapped his back."

"I'm looking forward to it Ethan."

Grime gave him the Kanto Pokédex and a pokeball of his starter.

"Ethan I got you a Pokédex from the League because of my connections as a gym leader. The pokemon inside it is your starter that I was breed by one of my pokemon."

Ethan was excited as he left the house to see which pokemon he will receive from his Uncle. He released it to reveal to be a young Rhyhorn much to Ethan's delight since he was a fan of his Uncles Rhydon when he was little.

"Thank you Uncle Grime, this is the best present ever!"

"I'm glad you like it Ethan I picked it out especially for you. Now go and get pack we have a plane to catch." Grim reminded Ethan.

Ethan ran up to his room to get pack maybe this journey with Paul wouldn't be as bad as he originally thought. He saw the picture of him and his friends as five year olds, when they used to play in the park together. He threw the picture away in the trash bin to permanently sever his ties with them. It was for the best. He had to secure his future even if it didn't have his friends in it.

At the Wu residence, Marcy, Eddie, and her Mom were sitting at the the table eating Taiwanese food. While Eddie's Sandslash was busy eating his dinner.

"So how was your day Eddie?" His Mom Patricia Wu asked.

"Principal Oak gave me a letter of recommendation from the Kahunna's. After I graduate from the pokemon school they want me to become a trial captain for the island challenge." Eddie said.

"That's terrific Eddie, my baby boy is growing up so fast." Ms. Wu cried with tears of joy for her son's success.

"Congratulations big bro you totally deceive to become a trial captain." Marcy said with pride for her older brother.

"How was your day Marcy?" Her Mother asked intensely.

Marcy being Marcy was oblivious of her mothers sudden change of tone.

"We'll we learn about z moves today in class on how to use them by using a specific movement for each z-crystal to unleash a powerful attack." Marcy explained.

Her mother sighed knowing full well that her daughter does this a lot when she describes her days at school she would go to every detail about her classes which would take a while.

"Marcy your Vice Principle talked to me about the prank you and your friends pulled today. I am very disappointed in you young lady."

Marcy then stopped talking at looked at her mother with a fearful expression.

"I raised you and Eddie better than this. I know your father died 5 years ago during his time working at a big company. I know you miss him Marcy, Eddie does too. You only act out and do these types of pranks because of how much you miss him."

"How did you know?" Marcy asked.

"I'm your mother Marcy it's my job to know these things." Patricia said to her daughter.

"When you go on your journey tomorrow I want you to promise me that you'll be safe and also to listen to Hopidiah Planter do as he tells you because I can't lose you or Eddie."

"Why would I need to listen to Prof. Planter?" Marcy asked but then her eyes turned into stars excitedly knowing what her mother meant.

"Is Mister Planter coming with us on our journey thru Kanto. This is so exciting we get to learn all about pokemon on there and compare them with the Alola varieties. I'm sure all my friends will be thrilled that Prof. Planter will be coming with us."

"Marcy I'm afraid that Andy Boonchuy and Ethan Day will not be joining you, Sasha, and Anne on your journey to Kanto. Their parents made arrangements for them to get to the Kanto Region. Mr. Boonchuy and Mrs. Boonchuy felt that Andy was an exceptional trainer and a responsible one. As for the Day's they are sending Ethan to go travel with a trainer that his Uncle had picked out to journey with him."

"I heard Principal Oak said this as well when he gave me his recommendation letter." Eddie said.

"We'll that's too bad here I thought we were going to be traveling together. I guess plans change when parents get involved. Marcy said bitterly. Remembering her own father would have broken promises of spending time together. That was the only thing that she would had wished for is that her father would spent more time with her."

Her Mom and Eddie are relived at least Marcy was taking this well. Then again she didn't tell Marcy the whole truth about why Prof. Planter would be traveling with them.

When they finished their supper Marcy went upstairs to pack for her journey. By the door Eddie was in her room just standing there.

"I'm sorry sis that Andy and Ethan won't be going with you. On the bright side Anne and Sasha will be there along with Prof. Planter. You'll make new friends in the Kanto region and catch new pokemon." Eddie said trying to cheer her up.

"Is just I thought it was always going to be the five of us since we're best friends. Did I do something wrong Eddie?" Marcy asked her older brother in tears.

Eddie then comfort her by hugging and rubbing her back.

"Things change Marcy, you can't just stop change from happening. Change can be difficult Marcy but it's how we grow as people. Remember when we moved from Castlia City in the Unova Region all the way to Melemele Island. You didn't have any friends but me back in Unova and look at you now you have friends. Plus you might see Andy and Ethan again in the Kanto Region while you explore the region."

"Do you think so?" Marcy asked crying less now.

"I know so, you have my word." Eddie said with comforting words.

"Thanks for the pep talk Eddie." Marcy said.

"Any time sis." Eddie then went back to his room.

In the Waybright residence Sasha was clearly upset of what his Uncle Tom and Aunt Zoe had told her about what Principal Oak had told them.

"I can't believe I had to have some old guy is going to look after me! I can look after me and my friends just fine! I'm especially upset with Ethan and Andy for abandoning us!"

"Sasha, Ethan and Andy didn't abandon you their parents thought it was best that they traveled separately from you girls." Tom tried to talk sense to her niece.

"Sasha, you'll see them again when you, Anne, and Marcy travel all over the Kanto Region."

"I guess, I just can't believe Andy's and Ethan's parents wanted to split us up. It's all principal Oak's fault why can't he just leave it alone."Sasha said agitated by the whole ordeal.

"Sasha, Principal Oak is only looking after yours and your friends interests at heart when he made his decision of letting Prof. Planter to look after you. Me and your aunt Zoe agreed with him since your controlling behavior that you demonstrated when you pushed Anne and Marcy into doing this prank you pulled today. This type of behavior has to stop Sasha." Tom said.

"Oh now your staring to act like you care about me." Sasha said sarcastically at her parents.

Tom and Zoe flinched at this since they weren't there for her most of the time since they travel to the Sinnoh region for work.

"Sasha we are so sorry that your Uncle Tom and I weren't there for you when you need us since we were busy with work. That is the only regret me and your Uncle have for not spending time with you." Aunt Zoe said.

"That's going to change we quite our jobs in Sinnoh and found new jobs at the Aether corporation. They pay the same as our old jobs and we can spend more time as a family." Tom said.

"Sasha just scoffed at them before mumbling I'm going to my room." As she went up to her room to pack.

Zoe sat down next to Tom in sadness.

"She's getting worse Tom, do you think she'll end up like?" Zoe asked in concern.

"No, no, Zoe it hasn't come to that yet. Let's pray Zoe, pray that her journey in Kanto will change her for the better. I really don't want to lose Sasha like I lost my older sister." Tom said sadly of what his sister Alexandra did when she worked for Team Core. He and Zoe hoped that the little girl was doing well since the catastrophe that was brought upon by his own sister and brother-in-law. Detective Looker explained it all to Tom and Zoe about the Bal Des Sola village tragedy. On how his sister was a big part of it along with Ford. Which made him sick to his stomach. He did asked Looker to not tell Sasha about what her family's misdeeds. Looker agreed to this and they staged a fake funeral for Alexandra and Ford Waybright. To make Sasha believe her parents were killed then being criminals. He and Zoe knew this was wrong to keep it a secret from their niece. They believed it was for her own good since they didn't know his sister's and brother in law's state of mind. He and Zoe prayed they were doing the right thing. They didn't want her to end up like her parents.

The next day, Ethan and Andy had already left for the Kanto Region when there parents got them an earlier flight. They had to get them to the airport in the middle of the night. One was going to Saffron City, Andy was on that plane. Ethan and Grime were on a plane to Vermillion City were Paul and Reggie will be waiting for them.

In the morning, the Boonchuy's, Wu's, and Waybright's were at the airport that would be taking them to Viridian City. There was a 42 year old man. He was bald except he still has hair on the side of his head that is a light blond mix with grey color, has brown eyes, wrinkles on the sides of his eyes, wears a green suit, orange ascot, and black shoes. This was Prof. Hopidiah Planter he is the regional Professor in Alola that study, how pokemon change their typing in a completely different habitat. He had agreed with the students families that he would take care of their children but now he has second thoughts since his grandson Sprig told him about how the Waybright's had killed the people in the village and captured all the children. One of them was Hikari Uzumaki the village leader's daughter who sacrificed herself to protect his grandson, Ivy, and Maddie. Prof. Planter will always be great full to Hikari of what she did for his grandson. But there was no turning back now he made a commitment and he's sticking to it that's the Planter family way. Then Hopidah Planter saw the children and their families.

"Good morning Prof. Planter how have you been?" Oum asked.

"Well my wife and grandkids did wish me to be safe." Prof. Planter said.

"Well that's great that your family loves you and cares about you especially on a journey." Bee said.

"Indeed are these the kids I'll be taking care of for a year?"

"Ah, yes you already know Anne since she is friends with your grandson Sprig. How is he by the way?" Oum asked.

"He's been rather disappointed since he wouldn't get to travel with me. I told him he could come with me when he turns 10 along with Ivy and his friend Maddie."

"Hey HP is nice to see you again." Anne said excitedly seeing a familiar face.

"Anne how many times do I have to tell you to call me Hop Pop or Prof. Planter."

"Come on man, I know you secretly like it." Anne teased as Prof. Planter grumbled.

"This is my daughter Marcy and my son Eddie with his Sandslash." Patricia said.

"We'll I see your sandshrew evolved since the last time I saw it."

"Yes he did sir, and thank you for letting me be your lab assistant for so many years." Eddie said.

"Your welcome Eddie, you and Bailey are the greatest assistance I ever had in years." Prof. Planter said.

"You must be excited to start on your journey. I heard from your brother that you love pokemon and love to learn all about them. I'm always be there is you ever wanted to talk about pokemon." Prof. Planter said.

"Do I ever I had so many question to ask about your research." Marcy said.

"I'm sure you do Marcy but maybe we save these conversation when you get on the plan."

"Your right Prof. Planter, I'll go over my notes for now." As Marcy pulled out a green journal and started reading.

Hopidiah Planter looked at the blond hair girl named Sasha Waybright. Part of him wanted to turn her away for what her parents did. He had to remember that Sasha didn't cause the village to be destroyed. He hoped she won't become like her parents.

"You must be Sasha it's nice to meet you." Prof. Planter said.

As Sasha mumbled it's a pleasure to meet you. As she went towards her friends to talk.

Hopidiah knew she's going to be difficult. Hopefully she'll start to change as the journey progress.

"I'm sorry about Sasha, Prof. Planter she just not happy about these circumstances placed by Principal Oak." Tom said.

"I know the circumstances are harsh for someone who's wants to become a trainer but Sasha must learn this is for her own good. I hope someday she'll appreciate what Principal Oak was trying to help her."
