House of Hurt:

Alfie was still in a big panic, and it was only getting worse, and he was getting closer and closer to touching the red thread.

"Alfie!" Shouted Amber.

"Make them stop!" Yelled a delusional Alfie.

"Alfie get out of there!" Shouted Patricia.

But Alfie could not hear Patricia through his state. Nina and Aaron came running in the spider chamber.

"What is going on?" Asked Nina.

"Alfie is in a total panic after touching a yellow thread," said Patricia.

"We've to help him," said Amber.

Aaron didn't hesitate and started to make his way through the web task and headed towards Alfie.

"Alfie, said Aaron, laying his hand on Alfie's shoulder.

"No, don't hurt me!" Yelled Alfie.

"Alfie, it's me Aaron," said Aaron.

"Aaron make them stop," said Alfie.

"It's all right Alfie, just listen to my voice and we'll get out of here together," said Aaron.

"Alright," said Alfie.

"Take a deep breath," said Aaron.

Alfie took a deep breath and he slowly calmed down. Aaron escorted Alfie back to the beginning of the room, then the club left the tunnels and they went to Nina and Amber's room.

"What kind of action was this!" Yelled Nina.

"We were busy with the task," said Eddie.

"Why?" Asked Nina.

"Why? We've to find the Mask of Anubis," said Eddie.

"We agreed that Aaron, Patricia, you and I would do the task," said Nina.

"You weren't there and we had the perfect opportunity," said Eddie.

"You're not the boss of the club," said Nina.

"Oh, you are?" Asked Eddie.

"Yes, because Nina is the Chosen One," said Amber.

"And I'm the Osirian," said Eddie.

"And you think you're second in command? You just joined the club," said Aaron.

"We need to get these tasks done as fast as we can," said Eddie.

"If we fail the tasks, it's not good and things end badly for us," said Nina.

"If we do this my way," said Eddie.

"If we do this your way it's gonna go wrong," said Nina.

"And it's already gone wrong, because thanks to you, Alfie was in danger," said Aaron.

"We need to do this together," said Nina.

"I've seen your doing it together and it's too slow, I don't have time to wait for a bunch of wimps like you," said Eddie.

"If Fabian had been here now you wouldn't have the guts to talk like this," said Amber.

"Maybe if you guys had a little more guts Fabian would still be here," said Eddie.

Those words hurt Nina a lot and upset she walked out of the room feeling.

"You're such an incredible jerk," said Amber, storming out of the room and going after Nina.

Aaron didn't say anything and just gave Eddie an angry look and walked out of the room.

"Dude not cool," said Alfie.

Alfie walked out of the room and ran after Amber. Patricia looked at Eddie shaking her head and with a disappointing look on her face.

A crying Nina walked sadly down the hallway and bumped into Mason.

"What happened?" Asked Mason.

"Nothing," said Nina.

"What's the matter?" Asked Mason.

"He said Fabian..., I don't want this anymore. Why me?" Asked Nina.

At that same moment Amber and Alfie walking down the hallway. Amber hugged Nina and Alfie put his hand on her shoulder to comfort her.

"Can I maybe help you?" Asked Mason.

"Nina is just a little tired, but thanks anyway," said Alfie.

At the same time, Aaron was in KT's room checking to see if she was all right.

"Aaron," said KT.

"Are you awake?" Asked Aaron.

"Can't really sleep anyway," said KT.

"Don't hearing that," said Aaron.

"What's the matter?" Asked KT.

"Trouble with the club," said Aaron.

"What is it, then?" Asked KT.

"There is just a lot of tension, but you don't have to worry about that," said Aaron.

"But I do worry about you," said KT.

"I'll be fine," said Aaron.

"Sometimes talking about it does help," said KT.

"We're not really a club now and right now it's more important then ever that we're a team," said Aaron.

"If there's anything I can do?" Asked KT.

"You just rest a lot and let me worry about the club," said Aaron.

"I don't know if I could really could get a good rest, now that I know about the order," said KT.

"They won't hurt you KT, I'll see to that personally," said Aaron.

"You're sweet," said KT.

"Try to get some sleep," said Aaron.

"Will you please stay with me until I fall asleep?" Asked KT.

"Of course I'll," said Aaron.

"I love you," said KT.

"Love you too," said Aaron.

Aaron gave KT a kiss on her forehead and grabbed her hand and stayed with her until she fell asleep,

A few moments later Nina and Amber were in their room getting ready for bed.

"What is he thinking, that he can just say anything! He's ruining everything for us! We should never, ever have let him join," said Amber.

"Maybe he's right and we're a bunch of wimps," said Nina.

"You agree with him?" Asked Amber.

"Who knows how much time we have left," said Nina.

"How can you say that?" Asked Amber.

"In a few months school will be over and so will our time here," said Nina.

"But if Eddie gets caught, we can't get the Mask," said Amber.

"I don't know either," said Nina.

Nina laid down on her bed and didn't say anything. Amber walked over to Nina's bed and lay down next to her.

"We're going to sleep. Tomorrow we'll know," said Amber.

Nina said nothing but nodded her head gently. Amber got up and went to her own bed and the two quickly fell asleep.

The next day almost all the Anubis residents were at the table for breakfast and between Eddie and the rest of the club there was a lot of tension. Trudy who was still sad because of Solomon entered the living room with a basket of toast.

"Are you okay?" Asked Amber.

Trudy said nothing and only had a sad look in her eyes. Alfie came running into the living room feeling super happy.

"Sweet, oh sweet Trudy have I mentioned how happy I'm that you make a meal for me, said Alfie.

Trudy again said nothing and walked back into the kitchen. Alfie sat down at the table with the rest of the residents.

"Food!" Cheered Alfie.

"Alfie take it easy", said Aaron.

"Trudy has a morning temper, Aaron has a morning temper now. Is it morning temper that today? If you had said that I would also have a morning temper, said Alfie.

"Don't you already have one?" Asked Eddie.

"Can you blame him? He got hurt because of you," said Amber.

"He shouldn't be acting like a little kid" said Eddie.

"Don't talk to him like hat" said Amber.

"Why not? It's true, he's acting like a little kid," said Eddie.

"Leave him alone," said Amber.

"You obviously got a morning mood temper right now, too," said Eddie.

"Mainly because of you, because you're the only one who's been giving me that lately," said Amber.

"Get a grip," said Eddie.

"Don't tell me what to do, "said Amber.

"Guys, knock it off. Okay, not now," said Patricia.

"I'll shut up," said Eddie.

"Then just shut it already," said Amber.

"Eddie, Amber, enough," said Patricia.

"Fine," said Eddie.

"Only if he…," said Amber, but Patricia interrupted her.

"Amber," said Patricia.

"Fine," said Amber.

"Good, I would like to eat my breakfast in peace now," said Patricia.

"How's KT doing?" Asked Amber.

"How would you feel if you went through all this?" Asked Aaron.

KT walked into the living room and sat down next to Aaron. KT grabbed a sandwich and almost everyone in the club looked at her and she started to get an awkward feeling about it.

"Okay, I can't eat like this," said KT.

"Right," said Amber.

"I'm sorry," said Alfie.

"Are you okay?" Asked Aaron.

"Yeah, just a headache," said KT.

"It's okay if you don't to school today," said Aaron.

"But I want to go to school," said KT.

"As long as you don't go looking for anything on the Internet," said Aaron.

"Be glad I did. At least now we know about the order," said KT.

"Yeah, and it's freaking you out," said Aaron.

"I'm not gonna hide, that's not who I'm," said KT.

"I'm not saying you should hide," said Aaron.

"If the order really exists, then I need to find out about it," said KT.

"Maybe I shouldn't," said Aaron.

"It's about my family history, Aaron," said KT.

"But your father and grandfather, the order hadn't done anything to them," said Aaron.

"They died of natural causes," said KT.

"And the Frobisher-Smythe's died in a car accident," said Alfie.

"Exactly, the order has nothing to do with that," said Aaron.

"I'm not so sure about that anymore," said KT.

Suddenly, KT felt bad and lost consciousness again.

"KT!" Shouted Aaron.

"Are we late for school?" Asked KT, as she regained consciousness.

"Not you, because you're not going anywhere," said Aaron.

Aaron got up and helped KT to her feet and was taking her upstairs to her room.

"That was so scary," said Amber.

"This happened yesterday too," said Patricia.

"Guys this is not good," said Nina.

In the meantime in the cellar. Victor sr. was getting the dynamite sticks ready.

'You found them," said Victor jr.

"Yeah, no thanks to you," said Victor sr.

"Father, you've to stop this. You'll blow up the whole house," said Victor jr.

"The Mask of Anubis must be under the ground. If the house falls with it, it's just a small sacrifice for a greater cause," said Victor sr.

Victor Sr. closed the box of dynamite and walked out of the cellar.

"Father don't do it," begged Victor jr. "Father!"

A few moments later. KT was lying in her bed, trying to get some rest, but she couldn't. KT kept having vague flashbacks and the cobra sign also kept haunting her mind. KT went to look under her bed and grabbed Rufus Zeno's stuff and looked through it.

"There must be something that can give me answers," said KT.

KT picked up the newspaper article about the Frobisher-Smythe couple's car accident. At first she saw nothing, but then she saw something vaguely in the corner. KT grabbed a magnifying glass and took another good look at the newspaper article and then she saw on the picture of the car wreck, the cobra symbol. KT looked away startled and now she knew her suspicions were correct, that the death of the Frobisher-Smythe couple was no accident and that the Order of Ankhesenamun was behind it.

At that same moment Mara was lifting a large heavy vase and almost bumped into Mason.

"Sorry," said Mara.

"Here let me help you," said Mason, as he taking over the vase from Mara.

"Thank you," said Mara.

"You're gonna have to take everything back to school? Asked Mason.

"We have to, Victor won't let it stay here, said Mara.

"And you're doing it all by yourself? Asked Mason.

"No, Jerome and Otis are helping out too, said Mara.

Jerome walked into the kitchen with the big white teddy bear and Otis walked in carrying the painting.

"Why don't you let me carry that one?" Suggested Mara.

"No, this one's as big as you, You can't do that," said Jerome.

"You love him? I can see that," teased Mara.

"No, I don't," said Jerome.

"So the three of you have to take all that stuff back to school?" Asked Mason.

"Yeah, we're gonna have to," said Otis.

"I want to help you guys too," said Mason.

"Really?" Asked Mara.

"Yeah, I'd be happy to volunteer for a good cause," said Mason.

"That's good because there's a lot of stuff outside for the auction," said Otis.

"All right," said Mason.

At that same moment Victor Sr. walked into the garden with the box full of dynamite, he put the box down and took out the card. Victor sr. walked through the garden and looked at the card, he bumped into something and then saw that the garden was full of stuff for the auction and was not happy about this.

In the meantime at school. Aaron and Alfie were at their lockers and Aaron frustratedly threw all his books into his locker and kicked the door shut.

"Are you still participating in morning temper day?" Asked Alfie.

"Not now Alfie," said Aaron.

"Whoa, take it easy dude," said Alfie.

"I'm just pissed off that I left KT at home alone," said Aaron.

"Would you rather have brought her to school while she is feeling sick?" Asked Alfie.

"No, but I should have stayed home," said Aaron.

Alfie was actually about to say something, but he looked wide-eyed when he saw KT standing in the hallway.

"What are you staring at?" Asked Aaron.

Alfie turned Aaron around to face KT. A panicked KT came running up and hugged Aaron.

"I..., the cobra..., the symbol...," said KT.

"KT take it easy, I don't understand you," said Aaron.

"My great-grandfather's death, it wasn't an accident," said KT.

Aaron and Alfie got a shocked look in their eyes when KT told them that Frobisher-Smythe's car accident was not an accident.
