Author's Note : Brucas are friends so far.
See you called again. I've been laying in bed.
Thinking too much.
Maybe you shouldn't come back to me.
The friend group that was combined of the popular kids and River court boys had grown into lifelong close friendships.
Which for them meant easy access to each other.
Lucas came out of his bedroom. Recognizing Brooke's voice right away.
"I bought breakfast. I thought we could catch up and eat." Brooke suggested.
"That would be great. But i'm kind of dealing with some family issues right now. I'm trying to keep things quiet until things are figured out." Lucas explained.
The expression on Brooke's face softened. "What happened.? How can i help.?" Brooke asked.
"You shouldn't worry or concern yourself with what i'm dealing with. You have you're own life to focus on." Lucs stated matter of fact.
"We're friends Luke. You need me and i'm there. No questions asked." Brooke replied.
"Brooke!" Tabitha exclaimed. As she rushed out of Lucas's bedroom and went over to where Brooke was.
"Tabbie. How are you hon.? Staying with Lucas for a visit.?" Brooke asked.
"No momma said i have to stay here now. She couldn't take me with her." Tabitha revealed.
Lucas sighed deeply.
"Where is she Karen! "Dan yelled.
"Away from you. And i can live with my without her if it means she's safe and better off. You wasted you're time tracking me down."
"She's out of you're life. She's my daughter. She was never a priority to you." Karen stated matter of fact.
Dan glared at her. "You think you can just keep her from me!" He yelled.
Slamming the hotel room door shut.
