"After returning from their long trip from the swamps and leaving Nora to her new 'boyfriend'. Harley and the others made a shocking discovery that their own city had been taken over in a election which has resulted one of the worst men to be the mayor of Gotham City. The Shredder, and to make matters worse is how he has Frank the plant in his possession. While in the past they could go up to any criminal without needing to be afraid of the outcome, though with the Shredder. He wasn't a idiot or had any personality that could be distracted, meaning they had to be serious. But right now Ivy was unable to do anything due to how much she's been focused on locating Frank, which has left her sick. Along that returning back to Gotham, Nanaue had to request Bebop and Rocksteady to come with him back to the Shark kingdom for a important matter. The funeral for his father who had passed away."

Shark Kingdom-Morning

Being given the proper clothing and breathing gils for them to attend the funeral. Bebop and Rocksteady were able to travel with King Shark and Killer Frost down to the underwater kingdom where they were at a wake. It was a rather sad sight for most of the sharks in the room, while for Nanaue was looking at a portrait of his father showing himself as a proud and terrifying creature.

"Still can't believe we're attending after you stood up to him and almost pierced your ass with a spear."

Rocksteady telling the shark as it seemed like when he and Bebop heard about this news, he thought it was a trap and would lead to them getting killed. However with them seeing the casket and that of other local fish life, this was truly a sad day. Nanaue nodded about that notion, however even if his father still tried to kill him that was shark culture.

"Even if he was a cold blooded shark, he was still my father. And at least should be respected by his sons."

Responding to him as it seemed he had more brothers, to which the rhino couldn't help but agree since the king was his father. By the side of the concession table was Bebop and Frost talking about recent events happening, though mainly Shredder being responsible for the kidnapping and now becoming mayor of Gotham.

"Maybe it be best we stay out of Gotham for a bit. If your old boss could fool those people then Shredder might get away with anything. Why not cool those turtles? They could kick his ass."

Frost suggesting to him that while it seemed like a bad idea for her and Nanaue to head back into the city if a ninja master like Shredder could run for office. Then no one was safe, as well suggested the ninja turtles return to Gotham and handle this issue. Bebop merely snorted at the idea of having those four coming here and seeing how the mutants screwed up.

"The hell with that crap. I'm not having those people come here and think we might have gotten back with Shred head. Besides, Harley told us to behave so we don't draw any attention. And suggested us to come here to support Nanaue."

Explaining that the two had just taken care of another pain in the ass boss from their past with their most hate enemies. Bringing them back and getting the blame for letting Shredder becoming mayor? They'd never hear the end of it. Looking back at Shark and Rock talking, they could see how it was a sad moment for the prince of the sea.

"So what's his deal? Does Shark become the new king and you his queen? Cause I can tell these bastards look ready to bite you since your human and all."

Asking about that while it had been a while since the shark had been gone from the ocean. He was still royalty and might be called to service. Also that the last time Catlin was here she froze the hammerhead king, while the other man eating sharks would have bite her or attack. Frost pulled out a shark tooth necklace which seemed to protect her from the others.

"Collected from several sharks that battled Aqua man. The scent protects me from getting mauled, plus I could freeze everyone in the room. But it's a funeral."

Responding that how while she was both being protected and could handle herself against the sharks, Catlin didn't want to start trouble for her boyfriend's people. Meanwhile for Nanaue, he looked at the casket which was filled with several items from his father along weapons that was used during his time as ruler of the shark clan.

"Don't wakes have bodies? I mean when we saw your dad he was built like a bulldozer, is this for his stuff where the actual body is in a bigger coffin?"

Rocksteady questioning about where the body was, to which Nanaue merely sucked his teeth in about that question. Seeing that there was a certain tradition of for royal shark families. Which was possibly going to freak out his friend since this wasn't like most funerals moments.

"Actually. The coffin is to represent what he has done and his memories being buried in the reef so people won't be able to steal his valuables. The real body is scattered across the kingdom to make sure the people know he'll be with them. And, as a prince. We'd wear something was from him, meaning a body part."

Nanaue trying to slowly explain to him what the wake was for to which there was a commotion at the entrance. The people looked over seeing someone who looked similar to King Shark. Which was his brother Prince, in which he had on royal garments across him along shocking enough the head of their father on his right shoulder wearing it like a cape.

"Presenting the new king of the Shark Clan. Prince!"

One of the royal announcers stating as the brother looked at Nanaue in which he showed a smile as he walked over to greet him after a long time during their separation. Rocksteady tried to be respectful by the two brothers meeting one another, he couldn't help but look at the head of the old king that was now design to be clothing.

"Sorry man but that looks freaky as hell. I'm going go check out the snacks."

Rocksteady suggesting due to how he could still smell both blood from the head as well that of it smelling like crap. Swimming over to Bebop and Catlin's side, the two shark siblings shared a hug and looked at the collection of things that was in the casket.

"Your friends are pretty brother."

"Yeah. Still, they did risk coming here after the bullshit that happened."

Nanaue stating to Prince that while he was away handling a personal matter with the other clans, Prince was informed about his brother last return along how the mutants and Catlin were with him. The two merely chuckled about the times of being in weird predicaments as well how things had changed since the last time had been seen.

"But it's not about me today. Cause now your going be looking after the kingdom, which I couldn't be any more prouder."

Congratulating that while he could have taken the role of being being a actual king. He left to live on the surface, which left the position for Prince in which he was designated to be the new king. The brother smiled of how Nanaue accepted the fact of leaving his role to him, since he stayed here making sure their father was looked after.

"Thanks. Really it means a lot to me to here that, but. It might be to early to congratulate me after I sell the kingdom."

Stating to Nanaue about that he seemed to have alternated plans for the Shark kingdom which involved selling it off to another sovereign leader. This caught the shark off guard as well how none of the other fish folk heard them to which caught him off guard due to how this was still his homeland.

"Wait. Sell the Shark clan? To who? I mean you should have discussed this with the advisors. Or me at least since I wasn't disowned by father."

Questioning Prince about how while he did stand up against his father during the peace treaty, even after disrespecting him the father didn't disowned him. Prince merely scuffed at how Nanaue of how he now considered to think about his kingdom and his royal status.

"Really? After all these years of spending your time on the surface. You decided to lay down your two dicks on the table and decide what's right and wrong just when I'm taking over?"

Responding back at him which made Bebop and Rocksteady spit their drinks since while the two Shark siblings believe they were lowering their voices. Most of the folks were listening to the conversation, including the others as it seemed the last part had gotten the others attention.

"Wait. You have two dicks? Did you know about that?"

Bebop looking at Frost since they had been together a while meaning they might have done it. This merely made the cryomancer silent as it seemed she knew about his 'double package'. The two tried to chuckle at the thought but saw how both sharks growled at them seeing how it wasn't a good time to joke at a time like this.

"You see? While I had to deal with dad's bullshit and him acting like a old school hard ass. You got to mess around with people like them and now dating a human! Which is pretty low since we prefer man eaters."

Stating a jealously for Nanaue in deciding to live on the surface than here, while possibly making a rude remark at Caitlin in which she was holding back any emotion towards the new king. However the brother could see how Prince have become jealous of his new life style, to not knowing what was truly happening on the surface.

"First of all. I don't talk about my friends and Caitlin like that cause I'll beat the shit out of you. Also, it's not easy on surface and not exactly pleasant. Also you should be glad to have a kingdom to rule, this is our ancestral home that our ancestors fought and bleed for. Who would try and buy the place?"

Responding to Prince on how protective he was for the others along was willing to fight him and questioning about who would buy the Shark kingdom. There was a sudden commotion coming from the side showing a surprise visit, it looked like a Atlantean male with armor along wearing a cape.

"Presenting the brother of Aqua man, as well scourge of the sea. Ocean Master."

The advisor announcing as Ocean Master had the room muttering in secret not knowing why he was here, more importantly him being backed up with his own guards. Bebop and Rocksteady looked confused at how the sharks got surprised by the human male seeing that it was just another masked man.

"He's Aquaman's brother, only he's the one who wants to takeover Atlantis and try to conquer the surface. Hasn't done it in a while cause how many times he's considered the 'little brother'."

Frost explaining to the mutants as well describing that underneath all that flashy armor was something that didn't make him so 'master' like. The two held in a laughter while Nanaue looked upset at this decision to seek Atlantis to Ocean Master, who always viewed himself above any other aquatic being.

"Congratulations on becoming King, as well greetings Nanaue. Didn't expect for you to return for the funeral, but alas it is good to see you here. As well knowing that the Shark Kingdom will be looked over once the deal is settled."

Ocean Master both greeting and possibly dissing Nanaue on that with his brother selling the Shark clan over to him, he would possibly use its soldiers to over throw Atlantis and have the means of conquering the surface. As Prince walked over to talk with Ocean Master in private, Nanaue wanted to try and convince his brother this was wrong. However Ocean Master's guards made sure the shark couldn't get to close to him or rather interfere with the conversation.

"Need some backup?"

A voice from behind the guards stated which was Frost along Bebop and Rocksteady who saw how this seemed important. In which Nanaue nodded as the three quickly tackled the guards along distracted them long enough for Shark to come face to face with Prince and Ocean Master as he was going against this decision of his home being sold off.

"Prince. I can't let you go on with this deal."

Telling him that the selling of the shark clan would not go threw, Prince merely growled at the arrogance of his brother and lashed out at him. The two began to punch and bite one another while Nanaue's friends were holding off the guards making sure they didn't try and stop the sharks. Continuing to battle, both brothers didn't let up as well made each other bleed during the fight.

"Just when I get a bit of attention you decided to be all dramatic and take it away. Just like how you ended killing our brothers to prove to dad how strong you'd have to be in looking after the clan."

Prince hollered at Nanaue at how when they were growing up, King was forced by his dad to challenge his other brothers to see if he was strong enough to rule the clan. However Nanaue merely pushed Prince back and tried to not let out his inner shark out on him.

"It's wasn't my fault! You know I suffer from blackouts when I'm in a frenzy!"

Shouting back at him as the two continued to smash threw the room forcing the other sharks to swim away. Meanwhile for the others they managed to hold off Ocean Master's guards, in which they see how both royal sharks had bleed enough and looked tired. Seeing how hurt he was, Bebop decided to try and handle this since he knew what it was like to be denied something.

"Hold it. Now I don't know how this royal crap works, but I know you don't fight your brother. And that includes all species. So there's gotta be a way to.."

Before Bebop could actually explain how brothers should act, he felt a sudden stabbing as he was distracted by Prince grabbing Ocean Master's helmet and stabbing him in the stomach. Holding to the side he was kicked by Prince, in which he seemed to angered to listen to anyone. Frost tried to freeze him but got back handed by him, Nanaue having no control of his emotions rushed at him and took the helmet right out of Prince's hands and stabbed right threw his chest.

"Oh fuck."

Rocksteady said at how while he was checking out his friend who seemed to always be attacked, was looking at how Nanaue killed his brother. Holding him close, the room fell silent along leaving 'King Shark' to hold his brother close seeing how that he may have destroyed the last of his family and possibly left his father's kingdom to ruin.

Gotham City Beach

Back on the surface was Clayface who was right now looking at several magazines that was showing a new movie that involved Booster Gold. Rolling his eyes by the paper and ripping it off, he noticed a bit of blood showing from the water as he got up from his chair thinking it was Nanaue possibly getting a snack.

"Finally they return, hope they can fill me in on if they need a royal performer."

The living mud man stating as he soon see's both Bebop and Rocksteady banged up along possibly coming from a grizzly fight. Coughing up water and hitting the sand, Clayface used his hands to grow large and bring them over to a blanket.

"Talk about your dramatic approaches, what happened down there? And where's Shark and Frost?"

Looking alarmed about how surprising it was seeing the two coming from a funeral. Especially a shark one that was suppose to be a time of mourning, but it seemed like they came from a bad night at the bar. Grabbing another towel to the side Rocksteady wrapped it around Bebop's wound to which the warthog squealed of how it sucked getting stabbed by a sharp object.

"Nuts. Just as when we're getting into the moment, Shark's brother decides to sell the kingdom to some jerkoff called 'Ocean Master'. Then a fight starts, then this idiot gets stabbed and now Shark and Caitlin are going be stuck down there. And no, it wasn't our fault. Which is surprising."

Rocksteady explaining how just after one small argument of selling their home, Nanaue had no choice but to kill his brother due to what he did to his girlfriend and friends. Bebop merely hits Rock's shoulder as he wasn't dying, just hurt. Clayface merely sighs as he looks to the ocean thinking about what might be happening.

"This news won't sit well with Harley, with how the man that taken us down with his bare hands. It will be a problem to survive within Gotham and not being noticed by the Shredder."

He suggested as when he learned about Shredder being welcomed into office by the people of Gotham. Clayface was trying for a role involving becoming a detective, when he heard about the arrival of the two's former boss. He had to see what was going on with Harley and got the information of what was going on.

"Can we try and think about something else then bad news. Cause we just lost another muscle on the team, and we're basically have no one to hack into computes and shit. So for a chance let's try and think of something positive?"

Bebop asking of how out of how much was happening to them along they had to deal with bad news after bad news. The warthog wanted at least one win since they started to start trouble after returning from their vacation. However just as the injured Bebop was begging to any type of cosmic being or stroke of luck to come upon them. His ears began to hear something across the boardwalk, a familiar sound which seemed similar to that of a buzzing sound.

"Bebop? This is the first time I've seen you star struck. Did you have a brain fart or something?"

Clayface noticing his friend's facial expression to which Rocksteady began to hear the same sound in which they noticed walking down the boardwalk was a overcoated individual with four suited men walking by the side in a protective manner. Both mutants looked closer by their necks seeing a surprising sight which was a foot symbol which meant they were members of the ninja clan.

"Boys. Those looks on your faces, there's something you know right?"

Questioning the two in which both Bebop and Rocksteady merely showed a gleeful smile at how they knew who that overcoat being along making that buzzing sound. Clayface looked confused at how from sounding upset to looking excited, could only fear about what the two might have plan for the small group on the boardwalk.

Later-Gotham's Forest

Across within the forest and hidden from the city was the old legion of doom base which was being used as a secondary home for Harley and Ivy. With the Shredder now mayor of Gotham, he'd have his ninjas stalking across the rooftops and dark alleyways. It was not safe to be in the apartment, right now Ivy was in her room in bed coughing from how much she's used the green in locating Frank.

"One time I'm able to unlock my full power, I end up sick."

Sounding both wheezy as well having a stuffy nose in which she coughs that caused the plants around her to grow quickly. Staying under her blanket she saw the door opening, seeing at the entrance was Harley who was wearing a nurse costume while having a bowl of soup.

"And now I'm seeing hallucinations."

Feeling like it might have been a headache of how Harley looked both attractive and helpful for her, walking over Harley made sure to not step on the new plants that were being grown from right underneath her feet.

"Not in this life honey. Cause you've done a lot of searching for Frank since we came back, so it's time you let momma Harley look after you. Both as a nurse and a loving wife."

Comforting her as Harley made sure to get comfortable by Ivy's side and began to feed her the soup. While this seemed no time to be resting, Ivy merely rest by Harley and decided to take her suggestion and drink the soup. Harley smiled of how while things seemed bad, they still had each other.

"When I get my strength back, I've have to get back to work in locating Frank. Whatever that walking blade asshole is planning it's not going benefit everyone."

Ivy explaining that if Shredder could inspire fear from his own men and possibly others from New York, the ideas that he could come up with Frank and being used in a sick experiment could end up destroying the city and possibly everyone both good and bad. Harley could share the same idea of how he would ruin things for them.

"I got the idea. But we need to get you back to your badass self, and I'm going make sure that happens."

Harley stating to Ivy of how she wasn't going let Ivy stay upset and sick in this moment. The two continued to comfort one another in the moment until they heard Bud and Lou barking at them, interrupting the moment between the two. Harley managed to get Ivy up slowly to see what was happening, heading to the main room they saw both the mutants along Clayface who came back from the shark funeral as well having a sack with them.

"What kind of shit did you all get into? It was a funeral, just visit the place and show some respect."

Ivy questioning them as the three merely looked complexed about how to answer the question. While for Bebop and Rocksteady, the two grabbed the sack seeing how they might have a edge in learning where Frank was being held.

"We got something that's ten times better than respect."

Rocksteady telling her as the two threw right out of the sack a tied up and possibly beaten mutant fly. Both women moved back at how they didn't expect this as well the hyenas growling how the man had the same scent that came from the Shredder.

"Boss. May we present to you our old 'buddy' from the Foot clan as well the scientist that made us the mutants that we are. Stockman."

Bebop introducing the Foot scientist as Baxter looked at Harley and Ivy, who heard about them from the defeat from the Shredder. As well noticing the hyena's around him snarling right at his face. He could have flew right out of the place, but was cornered by the others.

"Actually, it's Baxter Stockman."

Correcting the warthog as it was important to say his full name, but the mutant fly doctor wasn't exactly in control of the situation seeing how he thought with Shredder was in charge he could explore around Gotham. But not expecting to having his guards get beat up and then kidnapped by Shredder's old muscle. Right now he was afraid about what might happen to him, but for Harley and Ivy. Merely smiled in a wicked manner of how they now have the means of finding Frank, which was going involve a set of weapons and getting answers out of the mutant scientist.
