"*Sitting On A Sidewalk Underneath Light Pole With A Group Of Nobbus Surrounding Him While Saying Nobbu Over And Over* Why does this always happen to me? I was taking a nap on the bed, yet this happened. This is more obnoxious than having to see Egghead's face each time I see him." Sonic said
"Nobbu! Nobbuuu!"
"*Continues To Be Surrounded By Mini Nobbus Until A Familiar Face Walks In Front Of Him* Oh, hey, there, whoever you are. Don't mind me; I'm just having a peaceful night as you here. Don't worry, I'm fine." Sonic said
"How dare you don't call me by my name. I'm Oda Nobunaga, the Demon King of the Sixth Heaven. Don't forget it." Oda Nobunaga replied
"Oda? Is that you? Heh, you look different from the last time we met." Sonic said
"I have no idea what you are saying. So you're an outsider. It seems I was worried over nothing. Die. *Aims Her Rifle At Sonic And Fires down At Him But Notices Him SLighlt Tilting His Head Over, Gunshit Zooming Past Him And The Ground* Huh?!"
"After what happened back in Anastasia, I got better at dodging Bullets more effectively now. So your bullets are practically useless to me now." Sonic said
"Hmph. *Fires ANother Gunshot At Sonic, Only For Something To Block It And Deflect It.*."
"*Appears* ..."
"*Looks And Notices A Familiar Person* Look's like we have another guest here taking the spotlight," Sonic commented.
"If that oversized sword you carry is anything to go by, I take it you are a Saber? I don't know where you came from, but no one comes strolling into my territory and gets away with it. And on top of that, you're weird that Anima's Servant? And on top of that, you're weird that Anima's Servant? You Sabers are supposed to be the most powerful of the classes. Then let's see what you've got!"
Moments later, the Mysterious Servant and Oda began battling one another as Sonic sat on the sidewalk, surrounded by Mini Nobbus and watching the fight unfold before him. He notices the Msyertious deflecting each bullet fired at her with ease, with her long short as Oda continues firing at them. For a few seconds, the Mysterious Servant continues selecting the Bullets as she soon dashes toward Oda and slashes her several times at different angles of her body. Still, Oda dodges each sword slash from hitting her at all. Sonic was quite impressed by this Mysterious Servant's sword skills as the Servant dashes from one side to another, attacking Oda with Quick sword attacks and trying to confuse her. Oda charges up her sword and slams down, but Oda quickly dodges the attack, and a giant Pillar erupts soon after once she slams onto the ground.
"Is that the best a member of the vaunted Saber class can do? I may as well be fighting a child. I've had enough of you. Begone. *Fires Another Bullet Yet Again Only For It To Be Deflected Once Again* Now what?!"
"Another one? It's like a party for bullets." Sonic confuse
"What are you doing sitting like that, creature? Aren't you scared of being around these places?" The Female said
"Well, after being chased down by a truck with three saws in front of it before. Nothing bothers me anymore." Sonic replied
"Wow, that creature can talk as well? It's like I'm talking to a fantasy right now. I wonder how you taste." The Female replied
"Hey, stop that. He's a special guest this here, after all. The main character of this whole ordeal. Oh, yes, hello there. A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Archer. Or, would you prefer... Lady Oda Nobunaga."
"What should we do, Boss? Do we kill her? ...Please?"
"No, I help Blue right now with his tight situation. And after that, we run.
"It's okay. I got this. I just wanted to see what these little things could do if I didn't do anything. *Stands Up From The Nobbus, Jumps Middair And Slams Directly Downwards, Sending The Nobbus Away From Him As He Dashes Away, And The Other Two Mysterious Servant Follow Him From Behind*."
"Holy shit, that animal is quite the fast being indeed. Look's like he's quite more dangerous than I thought he'll be." Oda said

"I have to say, Blue, you indeed are quicker. Quicker than anyone I've encountered before. What's your secret?" The Man In White Asks
"I don't have secrets. I've just been running my whole life up to this point. Who are you three anyway? I'll start with the introduction, names Sonic The Hedgehog. Fastest Hedgehog to ever exist!" Sonic said
"Sonic The Hedgehog, quite a unique name you got there. My name is Sakamoto Ryouma, a Rider. Now that I introduced you to me. Let us go someplace safe for now." Sakamoto
*Inside A Ho"*Looking Around The House With Arms Folded* Ummm... This place is alright, but I would rather just stay outside for the night. It's pretty peaceful, better outside." Sonic said
"...Please be serious, Master."
"What? I do like to enjoy the outside more than indoors. But I usually make an exception when it comes to Chaldea." Sonic replied
"You are the exciting being, Sonic. No ordinary human would just say they want to go outside without the high risk of being killed. It's entertaining. Also, Oryou's been watching you ever since we came here. She wants to get along with you." Sakamoto said
"I still want to know what he tastes like. Could it taste better than an average human?"
"I recommend you not eat someone like me. I taste terrible, you know. Anyway, since we're all here. Mind telling me about yourself a little?" Sonic asks
"Good question, Sonic. We are in my humble detective agency, tucked away in the corner of Tokyo. And this is my assistant, Oryou. My apologies for not introducing her sooner." Sakamoto replied
"Yay."
"And I'm Sakamoto Ryouma, a Rider. Maybe you've heard of me if you know any Japanese history?" Sakamoto said
"..."
"Oh no, he doesn't know a single thing about any of us. And yet he's still here like he's known us for a while now." Oryou said
"Now, I understand if someone like Sonic doesn't know us. So I'll give him a pass on this one. I don't mind anyway, to be exact. Anyway, Sonic, you're the Master of Chaldea." Sakamoto asks
"That's correct! And if you don't know, I'm not the one to Command others on what to do. So every Servant is free to do anything they like, whether in battle or during the free time around Chaldea. It's been like that ever since." Sonic replied
"Interesting, a Master who doesn't enjoy controlling a Servant's decision, I alreaCommentedned you for your decision to let your colossal list of Servants have free will when you are their Servant. Truly unique and impressive. As for that Servant who seems quite concerned about your well-being. Maybe it's time she introduced herself as well." Sakamoto said
"No need to worry, that's Okita here. I've known her for a while now. She's gotten an upgrade as far as I'm concerned." Sonic replied
"Okita. Is that my name? If you say it is, Master, then it must be." Okita Alter said
"Tell me, do you happen to know any other Altered Heroic Spirits?" Sakamoto asks
"Trust me, one of the first-ever Servants that joined my team was an Alter. And it has grown with many Alters ever since. Besides, the latest Alter to join our team is Atalante Alter!" Sonic replied
"You are a Master to a ton of Servants. You're not a regular Master at all. Right, then. Why don't I explain what is happening here?" Sakamoto said
"Let me guess, and it's one of these Grail Wars I heard countless times already, right?" Sonic said
"For being a Master with no background of studying, you certainly know these Holy Grail Wars. We are in a sort of variation of that. There are no Masters here, just a...A LOT of Servants. You're the very first Master I've ever seen." Sakamoto replied
"...Then, does that mean I'm one of those Servants?" Okita Alter asks
"All I know is that you're the only Servant I've seen here with a Master. What are you doing with him, anyway?"
"...All I know is...when I came to, Master was there. I feel like I have to stay with him, no matter what." Okita Alter said
"Sonic, where the hell have you been?! We've been looking everywhere for you!" Olga said
"Did another accidental Rayshift happen once again?" Da Vinci asks
"Oh, hey there, Olga and Da Vinci. Just another Master Side-Adventure again. No biggie. And not surprising anymore." Sonic replied
"Senpai..." Mash said
"What the hell? That scared Oryou."
"It look's like Master Sonic's friends have joined us. I'm impressed they managed to slip through the Imperial Capital's quarantine." Sakamoto said
"Come on, guys, this was the month we were heading back to my world to deal with the 2nd Island. And now I'm dealing with another situation here and get Rayshifted into this place." Sonic said
"We can deal with that later when the time comes. We need to find a way to get you out of that place. And who are the hell are you with anyway?" Olga asks
"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I'm Sakamoto Ryouma, a Rider. I take it you're Master Sonic's friends? You're affiliated with this Chaldea place he spoke of?" Sakamoto replied
"Sakamoto Ryouma..."
"So you're the one joining Sonic in this adventure. Thanks for that once again. How's the experience going so far, Sonic?" Da Vinci asks
"Oh, the usual, the Nobbu creatures spreading around and causing disturbances here," Sonic replied
"That's not what I meant, but alright. What are you hoping to get out of all this, Rider?" Da Vinci asks
"I want to either retrieve or destroy the Holy Grail. I'd even be happy to let Master Fujimaru have it if he wants. Or an honest answer, The Holy Grail is the cause of a lot of suffering for the people here. I want to help them and put a stop to it. That's all." Sakamoto replied
"Now that's what I'm talking about, Sakamoto. We are on the same page!" Sonic said
"I hope you two can get along well. As for us, we're Chaldea, the Security Organization dedicated to the Preservation of Humanity. If you like, you can think of us as Sonic's backup team, his operational support. I am Leonardo da Vinci. Most people just call me Da Vinci, though!" Da Vinci introduced herself
"Olga Marie Amuishphere. Director of Chaldea. That's all you need to know about me. Nothing more, nothing less." Olga introducing herself
"And I'm Mash...Mash Kyrielight. I'm one of Senpai's Servants." Mash introducing herself
"And I'm Sonic The Hedgehog!"
"I see a team full of names from different backgrounds. How wonderful."
"Now then, Sonic, let's begin the work, That place you're in now? Tokyo is the only thing that exists there. A self-contained island. It's shut in by a series of invisible walls, which makes it impossible to get in or out using conventional means." Da Vinci said
"Does that mean the Chaos Emeralds can't get me out of this place?" Sonic said
"Oh, they could, but you don't have them with you right now since they are in the Teleporter sockets and will be using them again soon. You should be thankful that I studied Astromancy Magecraft before you arrived here. Chaos Emeralds almost fit into that category of Magecraft if you think about it." Olga replied
"Right... Let's just skip the explanation and send me locations to investigate. Don't worry. I'll be fine." Sonic said
"All right, Sonic. We'll keep an eye on things from here as best we can," Da Vinci said
"B-by, the way, is that Okita there with you? She seems...kind of different... *Is Cut Off*" Mash asks
"Beats me... Anyway, I'll see you three very soon."
"Anyway, I need to go somewhere. You two can get comfortable around here. All right then, I'm going out for a while. Thanks for keeping an eye on my office in the meantime. See you soon. *Walks Out Of Home With Oryou Behind, Leaving Sonic And Okita Alter Back*."
"This just in. Early this morning, the Army's 4th Magecraft Unit announced... that a Holy Grail War had begun in the Imperial Capital, Tokyo. We repeat: a Holy Grail War has begun in Tokyo." Radio Announcement said
"*Sigh* Why do I get into situations like this? These Wars I have no involvement with. But here I am once again. Inside one of them. Tell me, Okita, don't you get tired of fighting for different Masters in these Wars?" Sonic commented
"...Master, I would like to know the same thing as well; there are many things I don't know. Servants should have memories of their lives, but I do not. Okita Souji... Is that who I am? What am I? I don't even know if I'm a Saber. I think I'm too weak for that." Okita Alter said
"*Listening To Okita* Oh boy, this will be a while." Sonic thought
"By the way, Master, are you sure you're okay making a contract with a strange Servant like me?" Okita Alter asks
"You aren't no stranger to me, Okita. You are one of my closest friends. I'm sure you can have a glimpse of memory of that, and I have told countless Servants about it, and it's the truth. All of you are the most critical people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. That includes you as well, Okita." Sonic replied
"I see. I'm glad I met you, too. *Hears Knocking As Okita Opens The Door Of The House*
"Pardon me. Is this the Sakamoto residence?"
"Hate breaking it to you, but we are house guests here. You can wait for his return in about an hour or so." Sonic replied
"*Notices Sonic* Who the hell is that Rodent? Who the hell are you? Where did you come from?"
"I should be asking you the same question as well," Sonic replied
"It can talk as well? You look more substantial, Rodent. How about I get rid of you first? *Dates Towards Sonic And Swings His Sword Down At Him Only To Have Be Block By Okita* What's this? Who are you? Why are you getting in my way? Ah, the sword... I take it you are a Saber?"
"Whoa there, buddy! What's with the sudden ambush? We answered your question that Sakamoto isn't here, and you are randomly attacking us. What's the big deal, Man?" Sonic said
"What nonsense. Us Servants killing each other is the point of a Holy Grail War. NOW DIE!"
The Man dashes toward Sonic and swings his sword down at him, but Sonic easily dodges the attack and counters back with a punch towards Man's face, knocking him back away, which makes the Black Coat Man's eyes widen in surprise soon after. Sonic then curls into a ball, and homing attacks the Black Coat Man around the house as he dodges each strike from Sonic, only causing property damage inside the house. Sonic continues to attack the Black Coat Man around the house until he uncurls himself as Okita Alter lunges at the Black Coat Man and begins clanging swords at one another. Sounds of blades clanging into one another echoed inside the house and shook violently with each lang of the Man and Okita Alter's sword attacks. Sonic watched as the two continued clanging each other weapons, trying to lay a single on him until Sonic dashed behind the Black Coat Man, crouched, and sweep kick the Black Coat Man's feet, and dropped him down onto the ground, looking up as Sonic curls into a ball once again falls directly downwards above him as the Man rolls out of the way, stood up and attempted to slash SOnic downwards with his sword. Still, Okita block's the man's attack and pushes him away from Sonic soon after towards the wall. He was hitting it and causing the house to shake.
"Hmm. I should have known. Other Servants are much harder to fight than those weaker enemies. ...I'm sorry, Master, I can't beat him. I guess I am weak." Okita said
"*Grab Okita Alter's Hand* Quit doubting yourself! You are a strong fighter! That battle just now was enough to convince me just how good of a sword you are! Now come on! *Light Speeds Out The House While Holding Okita*."
"Holy shit, that Rodent is extremely fast! Tch... Some useless Rodent won't mock me! I will KILL him for that!"
*Someplace Else*
"So that's what happened back there? I see. Glad that you came running as fast as possible towards us before anything terrible happened." Sakamoto said
"That guy wasn't ready for my speed! You should've seen the face when I dash out of place with Okita behind!" Sonic replied
"*Quickly Appears* That speed of yours is pretty impressive, Rodent. But that is a sign that you are mocking me!"
"Are you jealous of a little animal's speed, little Assassin?" Oryou said
"Huh?! You!"
"Well, if it isn't Izo. As I live and breathe! I haven't seen you around here in a dog's age." Sakamoto said
"Ryooouma! You've got a lot of nerve showing your face here, traitor!" Izo shouted
"Calm down, little Assassin. All that anger just makes you seem even more minor." Oryou said
"Shut it, you bitch! Ryouma! First, you sell us out; then you show up as if nothing happened!? And now you're claiming to be a hero of the Meiji Restoration!? Is there no end to your mockery!? You got me beheaded, you piece of shit! I'll NEVER forgive you!" Izo shouted
"I do feel wrong about that. But we also really don't have time for this right now. There's a seriously dangerous Servant right behind us! *Dodges A Sword Attack Quickly* Wow. That was close."
"You're not getting away from me, Rider. You were sorely mistaken if you thought you could enter my territory and leave alive." Okita said
"Wait a minute? Okita?!" Sonic shock
"Is that...me?"
"You're my-"
"Now! Oryou, jump! Take Izo with you!" Sakamoto commanded
"You mean Oryou's gotta take the little Assassin? Ughhh... Okay, since you asked. But just today. *Grab's Izo As The Three And Okita Alter Jumpoed Away From The Scene, Only Leaving Sonic Behind*."
"*Look's At Okita Who Was Starring At Him Before He Takes A Big Sigh And Dashes Away Fast, Leaving Okita Behind* What is going on here?" Sonic said to himself
*Back At The House*
"Sorry for leaving you behind, Sonic. We got a little carried away there." Sakamoto apologized
"Meh, I get left behind often, so don't worry about it. So anyway, what's up with you and Baggy eyes here? Do you have a history with each other?" Sonic asks
"What the hell did you call me, you little shit!" Izo replied
"Well, Izo and I go way back. Okada Izo of Tosa was famous in Kyoto back when the Tokugawa shogunate was on its last legs." Ryouma said
"So, you know each other?" Okita Alter said
"KNOW each other!? This bitch betrayed us! How about I cut you to ribbons, and then we'll see how sorry you are?" Izo shouted
"I didn't realize you hated me that much. If that's what it takes to make you feel better, go ahead. Kill me." Ryouma replied
"I'm serious about this, Ryouma! I'm a man of my word! If I say I'll do something, I will damn well do it! *Lunges Straight Toward's Ryouma, Only For Him To Be Stopped By Sonic With A Homing Attack Directly In The Face* What the?!" Izo shock
"Ah, it seems the instances of the Hedgehog got the best of you. Good job, Sonic. I owe you one." Ryouma said
"Anytime, Ryouma. Just fixing the little things here and there." Sonic replied
"*Looks At Sonic, Who Slowly Grabs His Sword But Realizes What Happened Before And Doesn't Pull It Out* Hmph. Saved by an animal, you are a coward. Aren't you?" Izo said
"You can look at me like. I genuinely am a coward for all it's worth—now, getting back to our previous discussion. There are anchors made from fragments of the Holy Grail located at several points around the city, and each of them commands its Servant. Every Servant with an official class has their territory set around their anchor. The rules of this Holy Grail War are simple: fight the other Servants, gain their territories, and become the sole victor." Ryouma explained
"The usual mission is, Obtain the Grail and destroy it as usual. Don't worry. I'm a professional at doing those now!" Sonic replied
"We must whittle down each Servant's territory and sever their connection to the Grail. This means this is where we get serious. If we all work together, I'm sure we can pull it off." Ryouma said
"That sound's good, but what about Baggy eyes here? Will you get help us?" Sonic asks
"Are you insane!? Why would I ever help YOU a lot!? I'm ONE of the Servants in this Holy Grail War, you know!" Izo shouted
"Sure, you're a genius with the sword. But even you can't take them all on alone, can you?" Ryouma said
"Don't bother buttering me up! All you ever do is trick me into going along with you!"
"Izo. Did you see that enemy Saber for yourself, remember? She's tough. Tough."
"I'd recognize that detestable blue haori anywhere... Ryouma, does that mean–"
"That's right. She's part of the most influential group of master swordsmen of the late Tokugawa shogunate ...the group you and I have a long history with..."
*Later*
Later, the group made their way outside as they were dealing with Rouge Servants roaming the Capital and trying to kill other Servants. However, they didn't expect a Master to fight as Sonic uses his speed to take down several on his own while the Servants he's teamed up with took down other Servants by themselves.
"*Spin Dashes On A Servant* Take that faker! I know you are back in Chaldea as we speak!" Sonic said
"*Slashes It's Head Off Soon After* HAHAHAHA! You make this too easy, Rodent. How pitiful." Izo commented
"*Slashes A Rouge Servant In Half* Hmph. I still don't trust this person with Master. He tried to kill my Master before." Okita Alter said
"It's okay. Izo at least takes his job seriously. I know he'll do great, just like he did for Mr. Katsu." Ryouma said
"Relax. I'm a man of my word. Rodent, if you wanna more about history. We grew up in the same town. We used to play and go fishing together all the time. Now come on, I'll take you to a hideout." Izo said
*At The Hideout*
"This is it. Quite impressive, huh?" Izo said
"Not the best of hideouts, but this will do," Sonic replied
"Wait, Something's not right... I can't sense the Lancer's presence anymore. Lancer was here just a moment ago, I'm sure of it... It looks like someone got here before us. Come on. They're inside."
The group then entered the Hideout and spotted a Servant waiting for them.
"Welcome, friend. Or, at least, welcome, visitors from the Far East. Then again, I only just got here myself, so maybe greetings aren't necessary." Li Shuwen said
"Did you kill the Lancer?"
"Kakaka, easy there! This Holy Grail War has been rather dull, what with so few worthwhile opponents to fight. I was hoping these official Servants would be more of a challenge in their territory, but as you can see, I was sadly mistaken. I was told that Holy Grail Wars were a fearsome clash between heroes, old and new. So naturally, I was curious to pit my skills against these great heroes. However, my reputation for killing in a single strike still rings true. It was an incredible letdown when the battle was over with a single strike." Li Shuwen replied
"Dang it, Li, we talked about this. Going around and asking for Servants for duels. We even had plenty of simulations for you in Chaldea, yet those didn't work." Sonic said
"I don't know what you just said, but I'm afraid your luck's run out now that I've found you. Prepare to be cut down where you stand!" Izo said
"That's the sort of absurd boasting I had been hoping for. Now I need not hold back. So, which of you would like to face me first? Or I can also take you all on at once if you prefer." Li Shuwen replied
"I can handle a little spear-wielder like you without breaking a sweat. Now DIE!"
"I look forward to seeing what challenge, if any, your swordsmanship offers."
Moments later, Li Shuwen and Izo dash toward one another as the two begin fighting. Sonic and Okita watched as the two Servants changed weapons with one another Izo had an expression to kill Li Shuwen, but Li was calm and needed to do what he had to as he pushed away Ibo and struck him multiple times. Still, Izo blocked the attacks but quickly realized that he was being pushed back with each strike of Li and finished it off with a slash that pushes Izo's feet back and almost tripped. Izo yells angrily as he dashes toward Li Shuswne and unleashes a barrage of heavy attacks on him. Still, Li calmly dodges each attack of Izo's sword and soon after counters with multiple lashes across the body and pushes him away soon after. Sonic and ALter watched as Izo continued to use his strength to fight Li, angered by losing but still outmatched by Li's skillful dodging in blocking Izo's sword. Eventually, Izo jumps away from Li, catching air and pissed from the fight.
"What the?! Impossible! This can't be happening! My...my sword is invincible!" Izo shock
"What a shame. If only you didn't have such a short temper. You have enough natural talent that, with training, you could have been something." Li Shuwen said
"My sword has never failed me! Nobody could beat me! I could make any other style my own by seeing it in action once! I...I am a genius with the sword!"
"Step aside, Izo, let the two professionals take care of this guy. Besides, I know how he fights and what he does during battles. Hey, Okita, ready for a little battle?" Sonic asks
"Understood, Master." Okita Alter replied
"Ah, such confidences between Master and Servant. It'll be quite a memorable battle." Li Shuwen said
Lu Shuwen gets into a fighting stance, thinking Sonic will usually attack him, but Sonic feels different as he dashes toward Lu Shuwen and jumps straight at him. Li Shuwen begins to attack as well and attacks Sonic with multiple swings with his lance. Still, Sonic stops right at the tip of the lance and does a loop back away, stops himself, and performs an electrical kick, dashing towards Li, hitting him in the face and throwing him back feet away from him as Sonic lands back onto the ground and smiles. Lu Shuwen, surprised by Sonic's attacks, smiles as he fixes himself before continuing with the fight as he lunges toward Sonic and unleashes a series of Lance attacks towards Sonic as Sonic dodges each of Li's attacks while also laughing. He is not taking the fight as seriously as he usually does in small situations. As Li continues to attack Sonic, Okirta Alter charges up her sword as she jumps toward Li and unleashes a barrage of Fast sword attacks at Li while attacking Sonic. Li quickly jumps out of the way as the two Servants clang weapons. Okita attacks Li while also dodging some of his attacks as she attempts to slash across him. Still, Li jumps back as he smiles and counters with multiple Lance attacks. Still, Okita Alter blocks the Lance attacks with her sword once again as Sonic quickly appears behind Li and performs a Break Dance sweep kick that knocks Li out of his balance, drops his sight onto the ground, and drops his weapon in the process as well. Li Shuwen, suprise by Sonic's unique move, notices Okita running toward him while taking her sword out of its sheath and slashing downwards at Li, who quickly gets out of the way and attempts to counter. Still, Okita was quicker enough as she hit him with the grip of the sword and slashed him with several slashes and exploded soon after, sending him flying towards a wall, hitting it, and kneeling soon after the attack.
"How's that for a fight!" Sonic said
"Hahahaha! This was quite an exciting match! You know what you were entering and yet blocked many of my attacks. I believe there is nothing wrong with you as you are now, Swordsman. So powerful. The gods can be pretty cruel. You have lost your destiny and so remain ignorant. Yet from that ignorance came a flawless, techniques decisive blow. Your conviction was a sight to behold. That goes for you as well, Animal. Your speed was incredible. I have never seen such being run as fast as you and doing each of my attacks. So persistent. You there, subservient Assassin. I would say that my spear and your sword were a hairsbreadth apart. But even a hairsbreadth can be a world of distance. You remind me of myself.
