"This is a city?" Kaede asked
"Yeah" Nagsia nodded
"This is Digitopolis" Salamon said "The server continent's major city built after the Mega War"
"Mega War?" Terasaka asked
"A rather big conflict, 100 mega digimon fighting in two armies, those who wanted to conquer, and those who wanted to stop them" Ballistamon said
"WHOA!" the group shouted flinching
"Oh that's Ballistamon" Nagisa said "he's sort of an archivist here"
"Howdy" Ballistamon waved before he walked over to a table and illuminated "I found four more humans"
"Where?" Nagisa said as the other rushed in, all of the girls smiling and joining in one big group hug
"Primary Village Alpha" Ballistamon said a tint of sadness, most of the digimon looked down
"What is it?" Kaede asked
"Primary Village Alpha is the first version of Primary Village, you can call it a nursery for all digimon." Elecmon said "It is where all digimon begin their lives, and are reborn from it after they are deleted."
"Then why so sad man?" Yoshida asked
"It was the ignition point" Armadillomon said
"Ignition point?" Maehara asked
"That's right, you're standing in the very place that basically started the Mega War" A bear like digimon said as he placed his paw on the burnt out crisp of a massive soft building block
"What happened?" Sugino asked
"It was here" a yellowish version of Salamon said as she walked up with a Dinosaur in camo and the class snipers
"What was?" Chiba asked
"The ignition point" a monkey in a Tarzan outfit with a slingshot on his back said
"How so?" Okano asked
"The evil Mega Digimon's leader decided to make a statement and what bigger statement than taking over the one place where digimon are born from. Then he was in position to do whatever he wanted, of course a surge of Digimon rushed the village, only to find the Evil Mega Digimon had burnt it down to the ground, shattered every digiegg and killed all of the baby digimon. This was the ignition point, while many digimon were horrified at the Dark Mega's cruelty another Mega stepped up and rallied as many Mega of the light as he could. The next time the two mega armies fought it was the opening of the war" the monkey said
"Who lead them?" Hayami asked
"Not sure, all that is known is that they came out of nowhere and might have been linked to the Greymon species" the dinosaur said.
"So let's see you're Bearmon right?" Sugino asked
"Yep, I'm Bearmon a Rookie level Vaccine Beast Digimon" Bearmon said smirking
"And the others?" Sugino asked
"I'm Coomon a Rookie level Data Mammal Digimon" Coomon said
"Sir I'm Commandramon sir! I'm a Rookie level Virus Cyborg Digimon" Commandramon saluted
"And I'm Monmon, a Rookie level Virus Beast Digimon" Monmon said hanging on Okano's shoulder
"Why did I get the monkey?" Okano said
"No comment" Sugino said before looking at a slash mark in a block.
"I hate that the Mega War still haunts this world. Much like Primary Village Alpha, there were other sites not repaired" Armadillomon sighed as he looked at a map of Primary Village and other areas.
"I know, my home is one of those places, so much deletion" Ballistamon said as he looked to where the guardians were resting when the sound of running was heard
"AGURI!" a pink and white dog skidded in "Is she here, I thought I smelled her?"
"Labramon" Ballistamon said
"I knew it, I knew she couldn't have died" Labramon cheered happily
"You knew my sister?" a voice said as Kaede walked up to them
"huh, you smell like Aguri, but you're not here, who are you?" Labramon asked
"I'm Akari, her younger sister" Kaede said kneeling down "I didn't know she had a Digimon partner"
"Yeah, so where is she?" Labramon asked excitedly
"I'm sorry but she's gone" Kaede sighed making Labramon lose her excitement
"So she did die?" Labramon asked
"She did, and I'm going to avenge her, by killing the one who killed her" Kaede said
"You mean?" Labramon asked
"Yeah I am, and he will never see it coming" Kaede gripped her fist.
"What made these cuts?" Chiba asked as he ran his hand over a large slash
"A large blade weapon I'm guessing" Okano said
"It is from a Lion Sword" Monmon said
"Lion Sword?" Okano asked
"The weapon of a Leomon, they were noble warriors. But it was said that they were nearly wiped out during the Mega War" Monmon explained
"Its rookie form was a caretaker for Primary Village Alpha. The first strike destroyed most of the village, but the caretaker digivolved to try and fight while evacuating the baby digimon" Commandramon said
"So he died?" Hayami asked
"He did" Coomon said
"So where were you born?" Sugino asked
"The new Primary Village, close to Digitoplis" Bearmon said
"Oh" Sugino said
"Well, well, well what do we have here huh, a bunch of pesky humans and their pets huh?" a voice asked as a bright green ogre looking creature
"Let me guess, he's an Ogremon?" Hayami asked
"You got it one, Ogremon a champion level virus evil digimon" Coomon glared at him,
"Come back to see what your general did to this place?" Commandramon said
"Wait, are you saying?" Okano asked as Monmon pulled out his slingshot
"Yeah; this Ogremon is a veteran of the Mega War, heck he served the one who did this, Titamon!" Monmon frowned
"What can I say, it is a potential Mega Digivolution for me" he chuckled
"Oh great" Sugino said
"Hey, we can deal with him" Chiba said
"Yeah" Hayami agreed
"Okay" Okano said
"Like you puny flies can handle me" Ogremon laughed
"OGREMON'S IN THE VILLAGE!" Elecmon roared
"Hey now, we're not going to charge in their blindly" Okajima said
"I refuse to let him be there" Elecmon said making Okajima realise something
"That was your village" he gasped
"Yeah I was the caretaker of Primary Village Alpha before the war" Elcemon said
"And now, you want to head back there to settle a score?" Okajima asked
"Yeah, I do" Elecmon said
"Okay if you're sure about this" Okajima shrugged
"I am" Elecmon growled
"PUMMEL WHACK!" Ogremon shouted as he fired a dark energy blast in the shape of his head
"BEAR FIST!" Bearmon called out punching Ogremon, which did nothing
"M16 ASSASSIN!" Commandramon roared as he opened fired on the green Ogre, only to be knocked back by another pummel whack
"That's not going to work" Okano said as Monmon fired it slingshot
"Of course not, Ugly there's a champion and we're rookies" Monmon grunted
"We have to run" Okano panicked
"No, we have to fight" Sugino said
"Why?" Okano asked
"She's right, there is nothing to defend here" Hayami said
"We should leave" Chiba said "If not they'll be killed"
"But" Sugino said as he saw Bearmon get back up "Fine"
"PUMMEL WHACK!" Ogrmon cried shooting a blast of dark energy at the humans making the blocks explode in fluff and felt
"You were saying?" Sugino asked
"Okay, fighting may now be our only answer" Chiba said
"M16 ASSASSIN!" Commandramon shouted
"SWING SWING!" Monmon shouted shooting at Ogremon
"CUTE TACKLE!" Coomon said ramming into Ogremon
"BEAR FIST!" Bearmon shouted joining Coomon in physically attacking Ogremon, only to be whack away
"Not bad" Ogremon said "I nearly felt those puny attacks!" he laughed as he stalked closer to the small group. The rookie digimon doing all they could to hold him back, but he tossed them into the burnt soft block that comprised the village
"Thankfully they're not getting hurt," Okano winced.
"SUPER THUNDER STRIKE!" a bolt of electricity streaked towards Ogremon, who looked shocked and rushed his bone club before red and blue blur rushed into the large green Digimon, sending it back a bit. Running behind him the multi-tailed skunk like Digimon unleashed another blast of lightning only from behind this time. Ogremon reacted quickly, rising its bone club to take the lightning, leaving him open for Commandramon to fire off another round of M16 Assassin. Bearmon curled up into a ball and flung himself into Ogremon's stomach. After recovering the green Virus looked around for what had first hit him "it's been awhile Goblimon, or rather Ogremon" Elecmon snarled
"Ah Elecmon, welcome home" Ogremon laughed
"This place would have been better without you here, how dare you come back here traitor" Elecmon snarled
"How could I not, especially with the guardians here" Ogremon said
"Why you" Elecmon sneered.
"Hey guys" Okajima said running up to them
"Okajima?" Sugino asked
"What are you doing here" Okano asked surprised
"Helping Elecmon with his grudge" Okajima said
"Don't go hogging the spotlight Elecmon" Bearmon smirked
"Yeah, let us help" Coomon said
"I wasn't going to," Elecmon said.
"Very well" Ogremon said as he gripped his bone club
"DIGIVOLUTION!"
"ELECMON DIGIVOLVE TO!" Elecmon called out as a ring of tan light descended around him, returning him to a ball of tan light before a sphere formed around him; glowing bright tan which exploded out revealing a humanoid lion wearing pants standing there "LEOMON!"
"BEARMON DIGIVOLVE TO! called out as a ring of Dark Green energy descended around him, returning him to a ball of dark green energy before a sphere formed around him; glowing bright green which exploded out revealing a large bear with purple and white fur wearing massive claws "GRIZZLYMON!"
"COOMON DIGIVOLVE TO!" Coomon called out as a ring of golden light descended around her, returning her to a ball of golden light before a sphere formed around her; glowing bright gold which exploded out revealing a scruffier looking cat "MEICOOMON!" she called out
"No way" Okajima smiled
"What happened to them?" Okano asked
"they digivolved! Mean they went from one level to the next" Okajima explained "meaning they're on equal footing with Ogremon"
"So who are they now?" Hayami asked as the three champions jumped at Ogremon
"Elecmon became Leomon a Champion level Data Animal Digimon, Coomon became Meicoomon a champion level data beast digimon and Bearmon became Grizzly a champion level data beast digimon" Commandramon said
"NOW IT'S A FAIR FIGHT! FIST OF THE BEAST KING!" Leomon roared firing a bright orange energy attack shaped like his head, similar to Ogremon's Pummel Whack
"X-SCRATCH!" Meicoomon shouted jumping over and carving an X into Ogremon's back
"MAUL ATTACK!" Grizzlymon raged as he impacted the green digimon, knocking him over before he attacked the vital spots.
"PUMMEL WHACK!" Ogremon shouted blasting Leomon into a burnt block
"LEOMON! YOU OKAY?" Okajima panicked
"I'm fine" Leomon growled as he pulled his sword out
"SHUT CLAW!" Meicoomon scratches his legs
"CRESCENT DAWN!" Grizzlymon shouted as he charged up the claws he was using his Claws in a sweeping motion knocking back
"MY TURN! LION SWORD!" Leomon jumped at him holding his sword in an overhead attack
"BONE MACE!" Ogremon called out, blocked the sword with his mace. "Not so tough now are you Pussycat?"
"HEY!" Meicoomon snapped
"Shut up" Ogremon grunted as he swung at her, but it was intercepted by Grizzlymon
"Who's not so tough now?" Grizzlymon asked as Ogremon went in for a Pummel whack
"NO YOU DON'T Monmon shouted as he fired at Ogremon's eye; getting a in blinding him
"LION SWORD!" Lemon shouted driving his sword into his foe "NOW FIST OF THE BEAST KING!" he roared blasting Ogremon close range, making data fly off of him.
"Don't think that I was the only one that came back, you know one day Titamon will return and with those who survived will reignite the mega war and rule this world" Ogremon warned
"Then we'll put them down as well" Sugino barked
"Even if they target your world fir" Ogremon taunted before his data exploded
"What did he mean 'target our world'?" Chiba asked
"I'm not sure" Hayami said
"I think I know someone who might" Okajima looked at Leomon nodded.
"Hey Armadillomon?" Okajima called out as he and the other returned
"Why Howdy Okajima, what do ya'll need?" Armadillomon asked in a friendly manner, Hayami leaning down and scratching his knee smiling
"Are they digimon on Earth?" Okajima asked
"There is, some digimon who fought in the war went there after it was over, who they are I couldn't tell you" Armadillomon sighed
"SO they could be either good or bad digimon?" Sugino questioned
"Yes" Armadillomon said
"Oh great, but how do we find out who they are?" Okajima asked.
G'day Guys Grizz here, and wow not only did we get some more champions, four more of the others have been found, but this was also a massive chapter of Lore with a digimon in the Mega War finally being named Titamon! And yes he will return in the fic later.
Next thing is that Coomon is a fan name for Meicoomon's rookie form, I couldn't find its actually name, heck the Wikimon article on it just calls it Meicoomon's unnamed child form. so I found Coomon and it fits; also the primary village being ruined came from the Dark Masters arc of Digimon Adventure which is where we meet Saberleomon I believe, don't qoute me on that, which alos had Ogremon in it
