STAR Labs

Kara and Barry walked into the Star Labs Cortex to see not only TeamFlash, but TeamArrow as well. "Hey Oliver. What are you guys doing here?" Barry asked as Oliver turned to look at Kara before looking at Barry.

"We came to see how Kara was doing." he said as Felicity nodded, "Yeah, she took a big hit with Darhk's magic we just came to see How you were doing?" she asked as Kara smiled and nodded her head, "I'm doing okay. I'll live." she said as Team Arrow all let out a sigh of relief. "That's good." Dig commented as the others nodded.

Suddenly the Star Labs alarm blared as Cisco ran to the computer, "Metahuman alert. 5th and Central." he said as Kara and Barry sped into their suits. "Kara, are you sure you're up for this? You said you would take it easy" he asked as Kara sighs and nodded her head, "I can do this Barry. I won't even do the heavy job if that will make you happy" she said as he nodded and they both sped away heading towards the scene.

When Barry and Kara arrived at the scene, they were greeted with the sight of a young woman throwing objects without using her hands.

"Come on! We deal with one magic creep, only to fight someone with telepathy!" Kara was getting fed up with everything. The meta turned and looked at the heroes, she raised her hands up then snapped her fingers: cars, lamp posts, signs and trash cans were flying towards the heroes.

"Power Girl, move!" Flash shouted as he started to speed around the object while Power Girl punched and kicked the flying objects away. Kara thought she was in the clear until a truck flew in and hit her, sending her flying into the side of a wall. "Power Girl!" Flash shouted then he watched as Power Girl threw the truck off her, making him breath out a sigh of relief.

"I swear, if I get hit by one more vehicle, I'm gonna get really angry." Power Girl moaned, she kicked up a tire then punched it towards the Meta. "Flash, when you see an opening, cuff her." Power Girl whispered into her comm, link and Flash nodded. Power Girl slowly floated up then fired her heat vision, the Meta used a car door as a shield but what she didn't see coming was the Flash phasing through the truck then he smacked the Meta Dampling Cuffs on her.

"Damn you, heroes!" The metahuman screamed as she was furious. Flash smiled then he looked behind to see Power Girl slowly lowering down to the road, she was holding her stomach then the Speedster ran over.

"Don't worry. There's extra energy here, I'm using double the usual amount of energy." Power Girl reminded the Flash then she smiled. Flash smiled then he held Power Girl's hand.

"Have I ever told you that you look amazing in your new suit?" Flash asked with a cheeky smile, Power Girl blushed and chuckled like a teenage girl.

"Many times but when the compliment comes from you, it makes me feel extra special and beautiful." Power Girl smiled then the pair ran/flew off, leaving the police to take care of the Metahuman.

STAR Labs

The two heroes sped back into the cortex as the team cheered while Cisco gives then high fives, "That was great." he commented with a big smiled as Kara looked towards Barry before taking the front of his suit and pulled him towards her as she kisses him earning whistles and hollers from the team as they pulled away and look at the team.

Barry then sighs, "Alright guys, I think it's time you guys know something." he announced as the team all quieted down to let Barry speak, "Now, we knew for sometime but…." he started to say when he looked at Kara, "Wanna tell them?" he asked as Kara shrugged.

"What Barry is trying to say is that well…...I'm pregnant." she replied as the team gasped in shock before smiles appeared on all of their faces as they all gathered in a group hug. "Congratulations!" Caitlin said as everyone let go as Kara nodded with a smile.

"How long have you known?" Cisco asked as Kara sighs, "Since Last night. Before we were called to Star City to help Oliver." Kara told them as they nodded.

Caitlin's eyes widened, "Wait! Did you guys go to Star City after finding out you were pregnant?" she asked them as they looked at each other before nodding, "What is it Caitlin?" Kara asked wondering if it's something they should be worried about.

"Well, it's just Felicity said you took a good blow from Darhk's Magic. It may or may not have an effect on the baby. If you allow me to do some tests, we can check." she said as Kara looked at Barry worried, "Barry." she said as he held her hand. "It's okay Kara. Let Caitlin check okay?" he asked as Kara nodded before following Caitlin to the medbay.

A Few Hours Later

Barry was sitting at the computers waiting for Caitlin to get done with her tests. He looked up and saw her walk out with Kara behind her, "So. Did the magic have any effect?" he asked as Caitlin shook her head. "No. It's a healthy baby right now. Though I'm not an expert in alien physiology, I think it's safe to say that the Magic had no effect." she reported as Barry nodded.

The doctor turned towards Kara, "But I got asked, how can the fetus be protected from magic and all things that could hurt it?" she asked as Kara sighed, "It's just the way kryptonians are. You know how human mothers have a protective sack? Well think of ours like 10 times more protected as human babies." she said as Caitlin's mouth opened in shock.

"Incredible. So is pregnancy different from us humans?" she asked as Kara shrugged, "Some but not much. Except when I'm in the sunlight, the radiation gives me my powers and energy and the energy goes to my baby hence how I was able to use twice as much energy I always use." she said as Caitlin was stunned.

"That's just…...amazing." she said as Kara shrugged. "Perks of being an alien." she said as she and Barry walked out of the Cortex.

"I'm glad that you're okay," Barry smiled as he walked over to his girlfriend. "I think that you should take time off, for my peace of mind." Barry asked and while she wasn't okay with the idea, Kara nodded then the pair held each other's hands.

"Power Girl is out of action. Just promise me that if you go out, take either Cisco or Caitlin." Kara asked and Barry nodded, he knew that if he didn't agree then Kara would be telling him off all day.

"How about today, we spend the day thinking of names for our baby. We can't just keep calling him or her "a little angel", true?." Barry suggested with a smile, Kara was so happy that she was about to explode.

"Why don't you run and get us coffee and me a few treats? We're gonna need all the energy for this busy day." Kara told him and Barry smiled then nodded, he bolted off with Kara smiling at him. "I knew my happy life wasn't on my Earth, it was here with Barry. Can my life get any better, my little angel?" Kara asked as she gently rubbed her stomach with a smile: she was looking forward to being a mom than going back into the field as a hero.

At the Apartment

"Back beautiful!" Barry shouted as he ran in holding two travel coffees and a box of treats. "Kara, I want to ask you something." Barry told her as he handed a coffee to Kara, she looked at him in time to see Barry reaching into his pocket.

"What is it, babe?" Kara asked, she took a slip of her coffee then her eyes widened as she could see a small red velvet box in Barry's hand.

"No X-ray vision, Kara. You'll ruin the surprise." Barry advised and that made Kara disappointed as she really wanted to know. "We've been together a year and it's been the best year I could've asked for: I got a beautiful girl, a wonderful baby on the way and I hope we can spend all our life together." Barry spoke, then he got down on one knee and opened the box, revealing an expensive ring. Seeing the ring made Kara drop her coffee and cover her mouth as she was surprised. "Kara Zor-El, will you do me the honor of spending your life with me, as my wife?" Barry asked as he took the ring out of the box and held it up. Kara started to cry then she nodded several times as she was too speechless to give a reply.

"Yes, Yes, a thousand times yes, Barry. I will marry you." Kara answered as she was crying, Barry smiled as he slid the ring onto Kara's right hand. He then got up and he grabbed her in a hug and swung her around before setting her back on her feet. "I love you Kara Zor-El." he whispered as Kara smiled, "And I love you Barry Allen." she whispered as they both kissed each other for a few minutes before pulling away and hugged each other. Kara looked at her ring on her hand behind Barry and smiled.
