Yuhata and izana say roger then after nagate opens the airlock door they float to the other side once aboard they come across wrecked hallways and frozen corpse frightening them making yuhata look away and izana hides behind nagates back. He then takes out a flashlight and as he proceeds forward to the hall, he sees more puncture holes and examines them./p

Nagate-These blast marks aren't from a gauna heigus cannon. En-How can you tell? Nagate-The edge around the hole isn't melted like it would be from a heigus cannon. This damage was from solid ammunition not from a laser. Yuhata-If a gauna didn't attack this ship then what did? Nagate-Lets find out come on. They then proceed deeper into the ship to see more damaged areas and as they pass by a room izana notices something. Izana-Hey nagate come check this out. Nagate-What is it? Izana-Isn't that your artificial arm? Nagate looks at it then says hey your right it is. Yuhata-But what's something like this doing on here. Nagate-Maybe this ship was some sort of medical frigate to help in the battle. Huh I always wondered who created my artificial limbs but that still doesn't explain how they ended up abandoned on a planet in my universe. Yuhata-Another question to add to list? Nagate-You can say so. Come on lets keep moving. All grab these artificial limbs they may come in handy. After grabbing the robot parts, they continue on and when they pass by a doorway it shuts in between them cutting each other off. Izana-Nagate you ok? Nagate-I'm fine looks like door must have malfunctioned. Yuhata-Is there an override on your side I'm not seeing one on our side. Nagate-There is one but its no good the control panel is fried. You two head back to the Valkyrie im going to continue on to the bridge. Izana-But nagate…Nagate-All be ok izana go. Izana hesitates but listens to nagate and heads back to the Valkyrie while nagate heads for bridge. As yuhata and izana walk yuhata notices somethings up with izana and asks is something wrong izana? Izana-I'm just can't shake the feeling of worrying about him yuhata. I still see him on the drej ship hanging in the air as they force his hand open to get to the map. Back with nagate he arrives on the bridge to see damaged consoles and frozen corpse then proceed to activate the consoles. Nagate-Alright guys I'm on the bridge. Ren-Anything working there? Nagate-Nothings coming online not even the backup power. En-What do we do now? Nagate-All see if this ship has a black box. Mio-What's ah black box? Nagate-It's a memory device that records where the ships been and what happened but I'm not even shore where to look. As he looks around his arm begins to light up and points to a pilot seat and when he gets there a small panel opens revealing the black box. Nagate-I found the black box. En-I thought you said you didn't know where to look. Nagate-I didn't but it looks like my arm did. Its must have located it for me. Mio-How? Nagate-Not shore but I'm glad it did. As nagate begins to say I got it he sees a shadow go by him and when he turns, he sees nothing. Nagate-Mei Is there anything on the radar. Mei-No there's nothing except debris why you ask?/p

Yuhata-Same here nagate we had to take an alternate route to get around back to the ship. Nagate-I got a bad feeling about this. Izana-Is there another way off the bridge. Nagate-I'm not seeing one. All have to walk out on the outer hull to get back. Izana-Are you shore that's a good idea what if something happens. Nagate-All be ok izana I promise. Izana-ok./p
p class="MsoNormal"Nagate opens up the airlock and as he's walking out on the hull he looks up at the destroyed planets and ships then as he wonders he makes huff. Yuhata-You alright nagate? Nagate-Just I don't know none of this makes any sense. A massive nebula shows up out of now where making us go the long way and the first star system we come across has 3 destroy planet and a massive debris field of alien ships. Yuhata-Will find out nagate don't worry. Nagate-I know but I just cant shake this feeling something is trying to show us what happened in this system and we have no idea if the other ones will be the same…Yuhata, izana you two almost there. Izana-We just reached the breaching point we entered what about you. Nagate begins to say I'm halfway there then he sees a shadow go by and when he looks up, he yells oh crap. En get the ship ready for takeoff. As En says why nagate de magnetizes from hull and activates his trust bults starts raining down and he yells that's why. The group go to see what's going on and as they look, they see an alien drone fighter firing on nagate then ren yells hang on where coming? Nagate- Izana please tell me you and yuhata are back on board. Izana-We just got into the airlock what's wrong? Nagate-Some alien drone is trying to kill me. Izana yells wait what then she rushes to the airlock to see what's happening. Izana-Get out of there nagate. Nagate-Working on it. As the drone is about to shoot laser come out of Valkyrie distracting it long enough for nagate to jump to the airlock then close it. He then yells over the coms En gets us out of here and she replies roger as she moves the ship away from the wrecked one. She begins weaving and rolling to avoid getting hit but isn't able to do so until nagate comes up from behind. Nagate-All take it from here./p

Yuhata-What are you going to do nagate? Nagate-I'm getting us out of here but to do so we have to clear this debris field. Everyone strap in this may get bumpy. The group put on a worry face then they all find a seat and as they strap down tight nagate begins moving through the field as the alien drones fire at him. Izana-Nagate look out. Nagate-Oh shit. The alien drone flies towards them at kamikaze speed, but he manages to dodge it and once cleared of the asteroid he enters hyperspace. He relaxes then says everybody ok, en, yuhata, izana and akari reply were ok while ren, and Mio with green faces reply I don't feel so good. Nagate replies let's get you girls to the medical room and as he guides them nagate tells Mia to hack into the black box making her say roger. Once at the med bay ren and Mio sit on beds as they hold vomit bags, and the others stand to talk. Yuhata-So what exactly did we discover back there? Nagate-I'm still not shore so far, we found destroy planets, ships and alien drones attacking us./p

Mia pulls up a holographic map of the star system displaying the planets and ships before they were destroyed. Mia-The ship we were on was called the ss ural maru. It was sent to that system to help the fight against an alliance called the kusake clan. Nagate-So two different races where at war with each other? Mia-I don't think so. The kusake clan and the imperial fleet are part of the same race. Yuhata-What was the race called? Mia-They were called suijin an aquatic humanoid species./p

Mia-No its doesn't say anything about it and the only think there is a set of coordinates in the next star system were heading to. Nagate-Alright then. When were close to the system I want use all to be ready. The group say roger and before nagate leaves Mia says hold on there's something else. Nagate-What is it? Mia-I just found the sensor data. Just before the ship was disabled it detect multiple heigus signatures from outside the system. Nagate-My guess it was probably the gauna. Mia-Most likely but the weird thing is that the signatures are different from the ones Sidonia fights. Nagate-How so? Mia-I don't know I still need some more time to see if there's anything else in the black box. Nagate-Alright just be careful. Mia-I will. Ren-What do we do now nagate? Nagate-For now lets just be ready. It's going to take a few days until we arrive at the next soler system. I'm gonna go take a look at the engines make shore their running ok. As he walks out yuhata asks if she can come along and he says shore then walks off as yuhata follows. Hours later as nagate is working yuhata notices nagate drops some of tools and curses under his breath then after she asks him are you ok, he begins to say I'm fines I'm then he loses his grip on his tool then yells dam it and punches the wall with hos robot hand leaving a dent he slouches down with his hand covering his teared eyes./p

If I know anything about you two its that you always find a way back to each other even if your lightyears apart. Nagate chuckles a bit then says I could say the same thing about you and tsumugi. Yuhata blushes and replies what…What do you mean? Nagate-I've seen how you look at her when you're with her. Yuhata pokes both her fingers together and says shyly That's because well. Nagate chuckles again and replies don't worry it will be our secret. As yuhata replies thanks they hear En over the coms hey yuhata over the speaker hey yuhata can you come to the med bay for a min there's something we need to tell you. Yuhata-I'm on my way. After yuhata leaves nagate continues to work on the engine and once done he heads for his room to change but once there, he surprised to see dress pants and a button-down shirt with a note saying when you finish cleaning up come to the observation room I have a surprise for you love izana./p
p class="MsoNormal"Nagate says I wonder what it could be then he quickly freshens up changes into the dress clothing and makes his way to the observation room. Once there he breaths in then after opening the door he is surprised to see a fake tree in the middle dangling with lights and a picnic blanket next to it making him wow then he hears from behind what do you think nagate. He turns around to see izana in a black dress with white flowers on it and he replies it looks good on you. Izana blushes then she says you look good to and handsome. Nagate chuckles a little then izana takes his hand and leads him to the blanket then as they sit nagate says what's this all for? Izana-I thought maybe we have a nice dinner together and spend some time alone since we never got to. Nagate smiles and says id like that making izana smile back but before she does anything nagate scoots over to hug her and she ask you ok he replies I'm sorry Its just when we were on the drej mother ship, and they ejected you into space I thought that…I thought. Izana hugs him back saying sssh hey its ok I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere./p
p class="MsoNormal"Nagate smiles while teared up then when they look at each other they kiss and as they do nagate lays her down with her saying Your always so gentle and he replies with smirk always then they indulge themselves into a romantic evening. Elsewhere yuhata is with Mia walking towards their room when she comes across the girls putting their ears against the door. Yuhata-What are you girls doing? En-Were trying to hear what nagate and izana are talking about. Yuhata-I don't think you should be doing that. Ren-Come on yuhata aren't you a least bit curios of what their talking about? Before she could answer they hear izana in a sexy voice say oh nagate you're so hot making the whole group faces turn bright red then En says your right let's leave them be then quickly scurry off. By night everyone is asleep except for nagate and izana as they are still awake and when izana turns to him under a blanket she says that was definitely a night to remember. Nagate smiles you know it then he notices izana touching his old wound of where he was shot and nagate says do you still thinking about that day. Izana replies sometimes. If I didn't leave you wouldn't have then nagate brushes her to the side says hey its ok what happened that day wasn't your fault. Izana smiles then scooches over and hugs him, as she dos she tears up while saying in her head I will always love you nagate, but I can't tell you I'm the blackguard pilot. I don't want to lose you again either. Hours later they change and after arriving at the bridge they see yuhata there siting in the pilot seat and when she turns, she says hey you two how was your evening. As nagate and izana look at each other they blush then izana says it was ok. Yuhata smirks then says I bet it was. Izana and nagate look at her confused then she says oh nagate your so hot then she smirks making nagate and izanas faces turn red after hearing what she said. Just as nagate is about to say something Valkyries comes out of hyperspace and alarms start going off on the ship. Yuhata-Ah what's going nagate? Nagate yells I don't know give me second and rushes over to the console as the others arrive saying what's going on. After turning off the alarms nagate says Valkyrie detected something massive entering this soler system. Ren-Please tell me its not a gauna. Nagate begins to say no I think it's a ship then the bridge goes dark./p
p class="MsoNormal"They all look up scared stiff to see a massive ship moving by them then yuhata panics and yells that's not just a ship it's a ghost ship. Mio-A Gh..ghost ship? Nagate-Oh calm down it's not a ghost ship…its one of your seed ships from your earth. Izana replies Wait what then they all look out the window carefully and en says he right its one of our but which one? Nagate flies the ship closer then recognizes a flag on it. Nagate-It's an American ship the uss sea venture. Ren-If its still flying why haven't we heard a transmission from it. Nagate-Lets go find out. Nagate takes the controls and flies to the front of the ship and finds a hanger bay. After parking he then says alright en, ren, mio and Mia you're with me yuhata, izana and Mio you three stay on the ship. The group say roger then izana say I'm coming with you nagate. Nagate-I don't want you getting hurt izana not after what happened in the last system. Izana-All be fine nagate. Nagate replies Izana there is no way you're going on a creepy ship like that as team leader I'm putting my foot down making izana put an upset look on then mins later nagate is walking on the ship with Mia on her shoulder and izana walking behind with the group then he says to Mia remind to never put my foot down again then izana says I agree to nagate then she accidently trips over something making nagate catch her./p

After walking for a few more mins, they come across a massive chamber with tubes on the side and Mio asks what are these things. Nagate-They look like cryo pods kind of like mine but different./p

Nagate-Maybe an autopilot been navigating this ship. Mia-He's right the ship has been on autopilot this whole time. The group form around Mia then en says how come the ship hasn't woken anybody up? Mia-Its programed to wake them up once the ship finds a habitable planet but according to this they have been in those pods since earth was split. Izana-What? Nagate-So every here has been asleep for years and the ship hasn't even found a home for them yet. Ren-That's terrible. Nagate then walks away with a concerned look then says something doesn't add up the ship should have at least found a few systems with habitable planets to colonize. What if… En-What if what nagate? Nagate-Mia scan this soler system for habitable worlds. Mia says on it and after scanning she says the planets are gone. Mio-What how? Mia-They were split into two. Guys doesn't that seem familiar. Nagate-Way to familiar. Izana-None of this makes any sense why would the gauna destroy those planets for no reason. En-It's like someone ordered them to destroy the planets. Nagate-Or programed. Izana turns to them asking what you mean then nagate goes to the console to punch in something and says just for let head back to the ship. Ren-But what about this one what will happen to it. Nagate-I've sent the nav point to lem star system so it can link up with Sidonia but that will be sometime before it gets there. As they walk Mio says that's good then en says what's your hunch about the gauna nagate. Nagate-All explain once where back on the ship. En-Ok. The group then begin leave and as they all exit the chamber nagate stops to look at the chamber then says you'll have a home soon I promise then he joins up with the others./p
p class="MsoNormal"After getting back on board nagate takes the controls and flies out the hanger then after setting a course for the coordinates he got from the Blackbox then he slouches in his chair and when en walks up she says we still on course for those coordinates. Nagate-Yeah will be there within the hour. En-I see. So, about that hunch nagate what were you thinking. Nagate turns around to face the others then says I think the gauna following a program that was given to them. Ren-Ah programed what made you think that nagate? Nagate-Because of the way the gaunas fight every time were close to defeating one, they form a heigus cannon and when we started using kabi rounds they started to adapt to neutralize them. Izana-I guess that sort of make sense but why attack the planets they're not a threat. Nagate-Not unless they were populated like earth was or they could have been their target. I'm not even entirely shore myself but all I know is where close to figuring out where they came from. Mia-Then I guess will find out sooner than we hoped. Nagate-We at the coordinates? Mia-Yeah it appears the coordinates are a space station./p

Yuhata-Well what are waiting for let's go. Nagate-Hold on a second yuhata have you not looked at that thing it's too risky for all of us to go. I'm only taking Mia and izana. Yuhata-what why? Akari- Isn't it obvious she doesn't want to see her lover get hurt. Izana blushes then says it's not like that. Nagate then walks over and decides to tease izana by saying I don't mind I like it when you your protective makes you look more cute. After hearing what he said izanas face turns bright red with smoking coming out then quickly says ah um…all meet you by the airlock nagate and quickly rushes leaving nagate with a smile. Yuhata-Man I did not except to see that. That's a whole new side of her. Ren-Yeah, I've never seen her react like that before. As nagate walks away he replies you have no idea and goes to put his space suit on./p
