Beginning of the End
"Get out!"
"And don't come back!"
"Can we atleast get a refund?" Jack Fenton asks from the rental car.
"Leave!"
A very old couple shout at Jack and Maddie as they drive away from the FoxFire Lodge. The old man "Paw" is holding an ice pack to his head while the old woman "Maw" is looking distastefully at the hole in the wall those "idiots" blasters made.
"I told you guys they weren't ghosts but you didn't listen to me. This is just like that time at my school with Mr. Lancer! You guys have to stop attacking anything you think is a ghost. Seriously, they were elders!" Danny scolds his parents from the back seat.
"Well, we knew, from the tourist pamphlet, that there was an actual ghost there. Which that girl-boy confirmed." Jack says defending himself. "And those two looked dead to me."
"At least we don't have to spend the rest of our time here in that dirty old place." Jazz whispers quietly to Danny. Then she speaks to her parents in a normal voice and pulls out her phone. "I'll find us a nice hotel to stay at closer to Tomobiki."
"Seriously though, next time you two get all trigger happy I'm going to stop you." Says Danny. "This can't go on. It will both spare you two from losing any more money, possibly save you from going to jail and definitely spare us some humiliation."
"No, you're right Danny. We need to be more careful." Maddie says. "Come to think of it, that haunted hotel could have just been a rumor to attract more tourism." Maddie says feeling like an idiot.

Back at FoxFire, a beautiful woman with long black hair and without a shadow phases out of a wall and speaks to Maw and Paw.
"I can't believe they thought YOU were the ghost." Tama, the actual ghost of the FoxFire lodge, says in amusement.
"Shut it, Tama!" Shouts Maw.

Later, the Fentons arrive at their new hotel in the city. As Jazz, Jack and Maddie sleep, Danny speaks to his friends on his lap-top.
"Ok, I hate this man!" Sam shouts, having been told all about Ryuunosuke and her father by Danny.
"Yeah, this guy sucks." Says Tucker. "So is his daughter cute or is she too boyish?"
"She's almost 18, Tuck." Danny tells him. "She's a little too old for us."
"Ok, so your parents have been in Japan for a day, and so far they've been beaten up by a beach house owner, a ghost cat, a cross dresser and they lost their hotel rooms to two old people?" Tucker asks. "I don't know whether to laugh or cry."
"Yeah, I wish I could have moved faster when my dad got that old man with the Fenton Creep stick." Danny says regretfully.
"You could have easily moved fast enough." Says Sam.
"Not in human form." Danny reminds her. "I'm just glad these people are all superhuman. And that they haven't called the cops on us yet."
"Dude, are you sure you weren't exaggerating when you told us that guy lifted up your dad?" Tucker asks.
"I'm serious. Jazz actually looked it up, apparently there's such a thing as an ANME-gene in Japan that makes some people ridiculously tough and strong. It seems to be very common in Tomobiki. According to Ryuunosuke, she knows a girl that can tear apart a stone wall! And she's not even a ghost."
"That's very good for them, but can we go back to that mutated squid you were talking about?" Sam asks, grinding her teeth. She was about ready to explode when Danny mentioned Squid-Girl.
"Hold on there Sam, and you guys found a sea-urchin that makes ghosts human! Well that should make things easier for us. One drop and they aren't a problem anymore!" Tucker says joyously.
"Yeah. But apparently we gotta wait a few months for the eggs to hatch and then a year for the babies to mature." Says Danny.
"Then you gotta make those innocent creatures cry. Says Sam irritated. "Also if those sea urchins are only native to that one island they are an endangered species. You should leave them in the wild, not commercialize on their produce."
"Or you can keep them away from the dangerous predators so that more can grow. Like in a zoo." Tucker suggests.
"Zoos are a prison for animals!" Sam states indignantly.
"They are there for a reason, Sam." Says Tucker. "Do we have to have the gorilla talk again? So Danny. Apparently you've been seeing a lot of ghosts, mutants, any alien babes yet?"
"No aliens. But I hope so. I know it's pretty far fetched, but, if this place has so many freaky stuff aliens can't be far behind right?" Danny says optimistically. "Anyways, I better get some shut eye. Tomorrow Ryuunosuke is meeting us at the hotel so she can take us to her school. My mom really wants to talk to her nurse."
"Send me some info too when you're done."
"Sure, Sam."

The next morning, Danny starts to wake up as the light shines onto his face. He yawns and stretches his arms and legs. Then he rubs his neck. It feels sore for some reason, like he had been sleeping upright all night.
"Ugh, hey Jazz you sleep ok? My back is killing me."
Danny finally opens his eyes, and he sees that the room he and his family had spent the night in is now overrun by enormous mushroom sprouts. Danny freaks out and nearly falls out of bed before catching himself. Danny goes ghost and flies though the mushrooms, invisible and intangible.
"Jazz, mom, dad." Danny says as he flies around.
He sees Jazz curled up on a mushroom top and shakes her.
"Jazz, wake up. We have…uh…a fungus problem."
"…Erm…Danny, the room is clean. I made sure before we…"
Jazz wakes up and screams as she sees the state that the room is in. She nearly falls back in shock but Danny grabs her in time.
"Where did these mushrooms come from!?" Shouts Jazz
"I hoped you would know!" Shouts Danny.
"Kids!" Maddie's voice shouts.
Somewhere deep within the mushrooms, Maddie and Jack cut through the massive fungi with a double bladed beam sword and an ax respectively.
"Don't worry sweeties, mommy's coming!" Maddie says as she hacks through another mushroom.
"These overgrown mushrooms are no match for Jack Fenton. Why, I had mushrooms for dinner last week." Jack shouts as he swings his ax.
On top of the larger mushroom, Jazz worries what will happen if their parents see Danny in his ghost form.
"You gotta get out of here."
Danny grabs ahold of Jazz, makes them both invisible/intangible and he flies them out of the building. They land on the roof, and they stare in shock and horror at the state of the city.
"What…the…heck?" Danny asks, stunned.
The entire city was now overrun by gigantic mushrooms. More and more were spurting out of the ground throughout the city, when they did, they released spores in the form of a massive brown cloud, causing more mushrooms to grow around them. Buildings are being overrun or destroyed, people are being trapped on the large tops and hoisted up into the air, streets are overrun.
"What's going on?" Jazz asks.
"I don't know, my ghost sense isn't going off so it's not ghost related." Says Danny.
"I'm calling Ryuunosuke. Maybe she knows something." Jazz says taking out her phone. She was glad she had gotten her number last night.
"Why would she know about giant mushrooms?"
"Because she lives here and apparently stuff like this is very common."
"True." Danny shrugs.
Jazz calls the number and Ryuunosuke picks up.
"Hello, Jazz?"
"Ryuunosuke, do you see what's happening!?"
"Yes I do. First thing when I woke up. You actually called right after I talked with my friend Benten. I figured she would know what's going on, and I was right."
"What is going on?"
"I'll call her back and we'll come get you in a minute. I'll explain everything then. What's your hotel address?"

Meanwhile, the Sailor guardians are just now reaching Tomobiki in Mamoru's car. The sailor guardians and Tuxedo Mask watch in horror as hundreds of spores sprout up from the city of Tomobiki and spread to the surrounding cities through the winds. They have to swerve their car a few times as mushrooms sprout from underneath them. Artemis and Luna had told them about these mushrooms, and now they were exposed to the morning light.
"We're too late." Usagi whispers.
"Artemis, is there any way to stop these things?" Minako asks.
"You said they grow when exposed to heat. I can try freezing them with my Shine Snow Illusion?" Ani suggests.
"It will definitely slow them down." Says Luna. "But at the rate they are spreading you might not have enough power."
"I could burn them." Rei suggests.
"What part of 'Grow when exposed to heat' didn't you understand?" Asks Artemis. "The only way to clear a spread this big is with their natural predator. Flying pigs."
The sailor guardians and the guardian of earth look at the cat dumbfounded.
"Flying pigs?" Makoto asks.
"Yes, they love the taste of mushrooms and they tend to travel among flocks. But unfortunately they only live in the world of darkness." Says Artemis.
"Well, flying pigs are a common mode of transportation for the dark worldians." Says Luna. "So maybe whoever brought the mushrooms here could have a flock with them?"
"We're going to make them give them to us." Mamoru says, determined.

At the Lemon Beach House.
Mushrooms have spread across the beach and the light is dimming. Squid-Girl and Chizuru keep the spores away to keep them from spreading into the beach house or come enough that they will grow under the beach house and destroy it. Squid-Girl uses her tentacles to create propellers and Chizaru uses her inhuman speed and abilities to blow the spores away by moving a hand fan super fast.
"You gotta admit these things are pretty cool." Says Takeru, admitting the mushrooms. "Can you let one spore close to the beach house so I can jump on it and go up?"
"No!" Shouts Eiko. "The last thing we need is you or the beach house getting even more destroyed."
"I'm telling you this has to be Squid-Girls doing!" Shouts Nagisa Saito, the waitress at the beach house. "I don't know how but she must be planting these mushrooms to cut off our solar power and destroy our cities."
"Nagisa, this is not Squid-Girls fault." Eiko says, groaning. "And Takeru, get off of that mushroom!" She shouts watching her little brother climb one.
"While I would love to say I am responsible for humanity falling into disarray right now, I cannot say this is me." Squid-Girl admits. "Besides, why would I let them spread this close to my base of operations?"
A spore lands on her nose. Squid-Girl sneezes and Chizaru gets soaked in ink while the spore lands at her feet. Everyone else stares at her in horror and worry while Chizaru looks uninterested. When the ground beneath her shakes she raises her hand over her head. Once the head of the mushroom starts to come out, Chizaru chops down and slices the mushroom in half. Everyone looks shocked as the two halves of the dead, person-sized mushroom fall to the ground as Chizaru wipes the ink off her face with a towel. She giggles and looks right at Squid-Girl.
"Bless you."

At Maido Academy,
All the students stand outside shocked at the giant mushrooms that have overgrown their high school. Among them is the "Comedy Duo" Otani and Risa. Both have the same light red hair and brown eyes, but Risa is 172 cm (5'8") while the Otani is only 156 cm (5'1'').
"This is terrible." Says Risa. "I got out of bed this morning for nothing."
"Shut up, idiot." Says Otani. "You should be more concerned about the mushrooms."
"You're the idiot, Otani!" Risa snaps at him.
"Indeed." A guy even taller than Risa, standing at an impressive 185 cm (6'6'') with dirty blonde hair grabs her arm and holds him close. To Rita's discomfort. "Risa doesn't want to hang out with a midget like you anyways."
"Let go of me Haruka." Risa says, breaking free of his grasp.
"I'm her boyfriend!"
"All Hanshin-Kyojin are at it again." Muses a nearby student as the rest start laughing. And a girl as tall as Risa but with long black hair starts wrapping her arm around Otani as he tells "Mimi" to let go.

The Floating Garden (Fairy Tale Headquarters)
Two vampires, one a tall dark skinned woman with short white hair, the other a tall handsome man with a cigar and dark hair, watch the mushrooms spread from below. They are on a massive floating "island" located about 4,000 meters above Japan, surrounded by a force field that keeps them completely hidden and undetected by the human world.
"It's a shame that these mushrooms aren't ours." Says the male vampire lighting his cigar. "Destroying buildings, trapping the humans in darkness. I would be so proud."
"Im furious." Says the female vampire. "I wanted to destroy the humans myself, instead some fungus is doing that for me!" She shouts furiously. "I cannot have my revenge on Akasha if I'M not the one who destroys humanity!"
"Calm yourself Gyokuro." The male vampire says. "I can assure you, humans are like cockroaches, they find ways to survive. Let the mushrooms grow, either they will find a way to chop them all down or they will find ways to survive in the darkness. In which case, we, you, can use Alucard to finish them off. Imagine it, first the humans suffer months of darkness, they run low on food, then, out of nowhere, an enormous monster brings them the first bit of light they've had in a long time, only to be crushed a minute later."
Gyokuro smiles sinisterly.
"You always know what to say Miyabi." She comments.
Gyokuro gets a notification on her phone. She looks at it and notices that it's the monthly bill. She opens the link and her face contorts into one of surprise and fury. The vein on her forehead pops out like it's going to explode.
"WHAT!? 50-gallons of organic tomato juice!? Sliced Bluefin tuna, live horsehair crab, half a matsusaka roasted cow!?"
"What are you looking at?" Miyabi asks her.
"Our food bill! We're way over budget because one of my step-daughters keeps spoiling the other! And she's supposed to be a PRISONER!"
"Ah yes, I think that Akua and Moka are in the latters cell eating leftovers from last night's dinner right now."
"I'm going to talk to her!" Gyokuro says before marching away.
When she is gone, Miyabi thinks fondly to himself.
"Personally, I like Khalua the best. She's so pure and innocent."

Furinkan
A red-headed girl named Ranma, or rather a boy named Ramna who becomes a girl when exposed to cold water, climbs one of the gigantic mushroom stalks with a giant panda sitting on her back. She is about half-way up. She turns to the panda, who is actually her father in his cursed form, giving him a glare but the panda just holds out a picket-sign saying "Hurry it up." Then he holds up another sign that says "Your training starts when you get up there."
"Aren't you the least bit curious where these mushrooms even came from, old man?" She asks.
The panda just holds up another sign that says: "Curiosity later. Training now."
"Couldn't you have let me turn back into a guy first?"
The panda holds up a sign saying: "The hot waters busted. Just climb."
Below, a girl Ranma's age with short black hair wearing a blue dress watches them climb while holding her pet "pig" P-Chan in her arms. Behind her, her home "Anything Goes Martial Arts" is completely overrun by giant mushrooms along with the rest of her town. Her sister Nabiki is complaining about it to their father, he just reads his newspaper resting between two mushroom trunks and her other sister Kasumi just drinks her tea as if everything is normal. A girl with waist-length bluish-purple hair in a fringe wearing a light pink blouse and a red breastplate comes running out of the house with a large soup bowl that has chunks of giant mushroom in it.
"Ranma, Shampoo make mushroom soup." Shampoo says happily in a Chinese accent. She notices Akane and frowns. "Where Ranma?"
"Training with his dad." Akane says pointing up. Where Ranma is nearly at the top but arguing with her panda-dad too try a diet.
"Girl Ranma." Shampoo says distastefully.
"Yeah, the mushrooms broke the hot water pipes so…"
Shampoo looks at the hot bowl of soup (hot water) in her hands and gets an idea.
"Wife make husband man again."
Shampoo says before leaping into the air, landing on a fence, then a building, then a mushroom smaller than the others before leaping to the very top.
"Remind me why we couldn't just do that?" Ranma asks, noticing Shampoo reach the top quickly by doing so. Her panda dad holds up a sign that says: "Build your muscles up."

Airantou
Because the island has absolutely no connection to the outside world and is covered by a protective magical forcefield, the people (all girls and one guy) have absolutely no idea what is happening beyond these shores and continue their daily lives. A boy who washed up there from the outside world named Ikuto does his chores along with his friend Suzu. Another girl named Ayane tries hitting on Ikuto, which he doesn't acknowledge/notice, and his adoptive sister, a Yuki-Onna, Misaki tugs on his arm to get him to pay attention to HER instead. Suzu watches the whole thing not knowing why it's making her feel uncomfortable.

Jack and Maddie had made their way to the roof to join their children. Everyone else in the building had made it out and was on the ground, but they wanted to see the extent of the mushroom spread. Danny, in his human form, was next to Jazz as they watched the news. It seems that these mushrooms were spreading so fast they were taking up half of Japan by now.
"This is bad." Jazz says. "The way these mushrooms spread is..unfathomable."
"They grow incredibly fast and they release more spores as they grow." Danny notes. "It's a good thing Japan's surrounded by water. I'd hate for these things to reach Amity Park."
"Actually they just might." Jazz says ruefully. "Given how small and light the spores are and this nation's wind patterns I predict that once the entire continent is covered spores will land in Korea, spread from there to encompass all of Asia, then be blown all the way to North America."
"What!? In how long?"
"Well, given the rate they are spreading now, I would say ten-ish days." Jazz says fearfully.
"These things will destroy cities." Danny says concerned.
"Not just that, if they keep spreading like they are spreading. I think they will grow too close together and cut off our sunlight."
Now both Danny and Jazz are freaked out.
"Humanity will go blind, lose our agricultural commodities, starve and, depending how thick the mushrooms are, freeze in a matter of months!"
"Ok that's it, as soon as I'm far enough away from mom and dad I'm chopping up some fungus." Danny says, eyes and fists glowing.
"So Jazz, when is this friend of Ryuunosuke getting here?" Maddie asks.
"And why tell us to meet them on the roof?" Jack asks.
"I don't know, she just…." Jazz stops in her tracks noticing something heading towards them in the sky. She trails off. "…saaaiiiddddd…"
The rest of the Fentons look to where Jazz is looking. What they see shocks them too. It's a flying bike. A legitimate flying motorbike-like vehicle like the kind you would see in a sci-fi show. At the front seat is a girl with short black hair in a biker-babe get-up composed of a red metal bikini, a chain over her shoulder and black boots. Danny's jaw drops and he blushes deep red seeing how she is dressed while Jazz and Maddie disapprove of how "scampy" this girl is dressed. Ryuunosuke has her arms wrapped around her, behind Ryuunosuke is a beautiful girl in a white Kimono and long purple-blue hair but a serious, cold face. Attached to the air bike is a platform with rails that is floating behind it. Already in it is Nagisa, frozen solid. They drive the air bike in front of the Fentons.
"You must be the American tourists Rye's been goin' on about." The bike babe says. Then she notices Danny and gives him a smile. "Your the one that threw her dad into a wall, right? Nice job kid, that guy deserves it."
"Uh…hi…yes, I'm Fenton Danny. No, I'm Danny Fenton. Danny, call me Danny." Danny says stammering, his eyes occasionally drifting below her neck.
Jazz turns her younger brother's head away and gives the girl a stern look.
"Excuse me miss…"
"Benten."
"Wait? Ben ten?" Danny asks. "Like the cartoon?"
Benten gets angry and slams her fist on her bike handle.
"Do not bring up that immature American cartoon idiot! I hate that they started airing it in Japan! My name is Benten, not Ben 10, not Ben Tennyson. I was named after my distant ancestor."
"Ok, Benten. Care to explain to me why you think it's appropriate to dress like that?" Jazz says pointing below her neck. "Especially in-front of impressionable fourteen year olds?"
"I'm almost fifteen."
"And don't you get chilly?" Jack asks.
"And is that Nagisa frozen in the back?" Maddie asks.
"Oh yes, he doesn't really like Benten since we're so close, and he's afraid I'm going to cheat on him with her so he insisted he come along even though I'm STRAIGHT!" She says that last part yelling at her frozen fiancé.
"He insisted on getting between Ryuunosuke and Benten so they asked me to freeze him." Says the girl in the Kimono.
"You froze him?" Maddie asks. She pulls out her Yokai flash cards.
"Yes, froze." The girl says making an icicle form in her hand to demonstrate.
"Woah, hold on." Danny says. "You can't just freeze people! He could be dead now!"
"Oh don't worry, I flash-freeze people." The girl says. "I cryogenically preserve them inside and out. When he unfreezes it will be like no time has passed to him."
"Just to give you an idea of how strong Oyuki is, she froze Kotatsu-neko solid once." Ryuunosuke states.
"You mean that freakishly-strong ghost-cat thing!?" Danny shouts while the rest of his family look shocked. "But I've seen ghosts get frozen before." Danny says remembering the time Vortex froze him and encased him in ice. He broke out before he hit the ground. "They break free."
"They were probably just encased in ice. Like I said, I cryogenically freeze people, inside and out." Oyuki says.
"Excuse me, but, do you happen to be a Yuki-Onna?" Maddie asks, looking at the flash card of the "snow women" of Japanese folklore.
"And if so why isn't the Fenton Finder detecting you?" Jack asks holding up said device.
"Youki-Onna? Oh I'm fairly certain you humans developed those stories from my peoples visits. Either that or parallel evolution. But I'm a neptunian." Says Oyuki.
"And to answer your question lady, I happen to be appropriately dressed on my planet and several others!" Benten states to Jazz.
The Fentons blink in surprise.
"Neptunian? Planet?" Danny asks.
"Oh, Benten and Oyuki are aliens." Ryuunosuke says. "Though I thought the flying motorcycle would have given that away."
"ALIENS!?" The Fentons all shout in shock. But Danny looks excited.
"Wait, does this mean the rumor of aliens in this town is true? The Oni? Lum?" He asks.
"Yes and yes." Benten says. "My race, the Gods of Luck, you humans mythologized us too, are a sister race of the Oni from the Planet Oniboshi. And Lum Invader is a personal friend of mine."
Danny pulls out his phone and shows a picture of Lum in her Tiger bikini.
"Her? She's a real alien?"
"Yes, and that's a good pic of her by the way."
"Hold on, Danny, what are you talking about?" Maddie asks.
"We'll explain everything on the way." Benten promises. "Tell me where you want us to take you."
"Well I was planning to talk with Ryuunosuke's nurse today." Maddie says.
"Great, now I gotta see Ataru again." Benten mumbles. "Alright, in the back."
The Fentons climb onto the platform and they fly off. Heading towards Rans UFO.

After twenty minutes of flying and explaining, on both Dannys and Bentens accounts, Jack, Maddie and Jazz had a good idea of Tomobiki's alien situation and the entire Fenton Clan (Danny included) had a good idea of what's happening now.
"Ok so let me get this straight." Jazz starts. "So a few years ago an alien race called the Oni came to earth to invade, but instead of outright going to war they decided to give humanity a chance by playing a game of tag. Tag?"
"The Oni are a very advanced race, an outright invasion would have been too easy." Benten says. "They like to be fair. Of course that idiot Moroboshi is the first to win in a long time."
"And so they randomly selected a human teenager to compete against the lead invader's daughter, this Lum person, and he's a perverted idiot named Ataru Moroboshi." Maddie recounts.
"Correct."
"So, Ataru wasn't doing so well and on the tenth day his then girlfriend promised to marry him if he won. Then he did win, but Lum misinterpreted what he said and thought he was proposing to her, then she accepted?" Jack recounts.
"And I've been telling her she can do better but she won't listen."
"Anyone can do better than Ataru Moroboshi." Agrees Ryuunosuke.
"I find him entertaining." Oyuki says.
"And so this is all happening." Danny starts, gesturing to the mushrooms. "Because a few days ago this alien prince from a world without a sun…Don't see how that's possible but ignoring that, tried to make Lum marry him because of an agreement between their great grandfathers. So you two-" he says, pointing to Oyuki and Benten. "-another alien friend of yours named Ran-"
"She's not really my friend." Benten states dryly.
"-Lum's ex fiancé, Ataru, a guy named Mendo, nurse Sukara and Ataru went to this dark world to rescue her."
"I have to admit, I was impressed with Ataru for a minute." Benten says. "He gave Mendo the contact information of every beautiful girl he knows to enlist his help in rescuing her. He practically led the mission. Of course right afterwards he went back to flirting with Ran."
"Hmmm, he must be pretty insecure." Jazz says, looking at his actions from a psychologist standpoint.
"Whatever, he's just a leech and an idiot in my opinion." Says Benten.
"Ok so you tried to rescue her, The prince's childhood friend tried to blow them up because she was jealous, doesn't make sense to me." Danny says. "He tricked Ataru by making a mushroom clone, then he got mad and tried to marry the crazy girl. Then Lum got mad. Then you guys came back to earth with the friend but not Lum. She made you dinner with some mushrooms and forgot that they grow when exposed to light and heat…" Danny says finishing the recap.
"Yep, that's it in a nutshell." Benten says.
"Does Ataru know about the mushroom clone now?" Jazz asks.
"Lum didn't want to tell him. I think she's finally sick of his idiocy now." Benten says. "We're here."
They fly up to a UFO, which actually looks like a big metal mushroom, resting on top of a cluster of giant mushrooms. A part of Danny couldn't help but be excited, he was meeting real (and really hot) aliens and was about to enter one of their space ships! Maybe when this mess was over he could convince them to take him into space. Or maybe visit another planet! Will he need immunizations and a passport for that?
Anyways, they flew up to the door of the ship and they landed on the top of the mushroom. As everyone else walked up to the door Danny stayed behind. He thinks about what Benten said about these mushrooms growing with light and heat. Danny fires an ectoplasmic ray at the piece mushroom under him and it just causes some smaller ones to grow in the spot. As they slowly grow larger Danny then tries to freeze them with one of his ice blasts.
The mushrooms stop growing as they are encased in ice. Danny smiles, it looks like if worse comes to shove he's going to have to "Undergrowth" this issue.
"Danny, come!" Maddie calls and Danny runs up to join his family.
Benten knocked on the door and a beautiful girl with king pink hair and wearing a light pink dress and a blue apron.
"Oh Benten, Oyuki, Ran-Chan sees you've returned." The girl, Ran, notices Ryuunosuke and the Fentons. "And you've brought guests?"
"These are the Fentons, they are from out of town." Benten says. "Where is Sukara?"
Ran steps aside and points to the gorgeous tall dark haired woman in the kimono (that catches Jack's and Danny's attention). With her is a handsome well dressed young man (that catches Jazz's attention), a green haired young man with horns and a tiger pants-suit looking dimly at a screen (which also catches Jazz's attention, plus a little bit of Maddie's too but she snaps out of it), a average looking guy with brown hair. A girl with dark skin, long white hair, an Angel-fish-like light on her forehead and wearing a black bikini (that also catches Danny's attention). A cute girl with dark hair in a Bob-cut and a blue sailor suit and a guy in a bunny suit. That last one just made the Fenton clan confused.
"We should call in reinforcements!" Sukara shouts.
"No way! Absolutely not!" Shouts the white haired girl.
"But you were just saying, there might be a way to destroy the mushrooms." Sukara says.
"Hey guys, Benten and Oyuki are back." The girl with the Bob-cut says. "And she's brought new people."
The group turns to look at Benten, Oyuki, Ryuunosuke and a whole bunch of people they don't recognize.
"Everyone, these are the Fentons, they are from America." Ryuunosuke says. "Jack, Maddie, Jazz and Danny." Then she whispers loudly. "They hunt ghosts and are pretty crazy so be careful."
Benten speaks to the Fentons.
"Here we have Sukara." She says pointing to the tall dark haired girl. "Mendo," points to the well-dressed guy. Said guy then walks up to Jazz, takes her hand and gives her a flattering smile.
"Sutaro Mendo, heir to the Mendo family fortune. And who might you be?" He kisses her hand. Jazz starts blushing and giggling.
"Jazz. Jasmine Fenton."
"Jasmine, like the beautiful flower?" He asks, making Jazz blush harder. Her father pulls her away.
"East there pretty boy." Jack says, getting into overprotective father mode.
"Don't get too distracted. He flirts with literally every other girl in class. He also keeps chasing after Lum while being engaged to the heiress of the Mizunokoji fortune." Ryuunosuke tells Jazz.
"It's an arranged marriage." Mendo explains.
"Be honest though, will you go through with it if you can't get Lum?" Ryuunosuke asks.
"Asuka's and I are not married yet!" Mendo states, then he resumes giving Jazz a flattering smile. "Until then…"
Jazz pulls her hand away from him in disgust. This shocks Mendo. Usually every girl he meets is desperate to be with him so they brush off things like this. He wonders if this Jazz girl just doesn't like guys like when Ryuunosuke rejected him.
"Rei," Benten says, pointing to the tiger-suit guy.
Ran then jumps to the guys side, wraps her arms around him and points the end of a cooking knife in Jazz's direction while Rei continues to be disinterested.
"BACK OFF HE's mine!" Ran snarls with intense fury.
Danny covers Jazz protectively while the older girl just steps back, hands up to show she gets the point.
"Carla, the girl that tried blowing Lum to smithereens." Points to the white-haired girl.
"Lum shouldn't have tried to steal Rupa from me." Carla defends.
"Umm, from what I heard Rupa kidnapped her, because his great-grandfather told him too." Danny points out.
"Whatever, next time I see her!" Carla says pulling out a Bazooka.
The Fentons are startled.
"Where did she even pull that out from!?" Maddie asks.
"The shadows, all shadows lead to my home world." Carla explains.
"No explosions in my spaceship!" Ran snaps.
A singing sound comes from the kitchen. Ran squeals in excitement.
"The cake is done. I'll be right back, Rei. I made a nice delicious cake for you."
Rei smiles in satisfaction as Ran runs to the kitchen giggling.
"What weird aliens." Danny whispers to Jazz, who agrees.
"Over there is Sinobu. She's human." Benten says pointing to the girl with the Bob-cut. "And next to her is her boyfriend Inaba."
The guy in the rabbit suit, Inaba, walks up to Danny and extends his hand.
"Danny Pha-Fenton. Hello, nice to meet you." He leans into Danny's ear and whispers. "I'm a 'Phan-' of your work.
"Uh, thanks? Why are you in a rabbit suit?" Danny asks.
Inaba's face falls.
"I'm…uh…Benten there's one more person to introduce."
"Oh, right." Benten says, reluctantly pointing to the brunette guy who is looking at Jazz. "Ataru Moroboshi, Lum's husband."
Ataru rushes over to Jazz holding out a small booklet.
"Can I get your name, address and phone number?" Ataru asks.
Jazz flinches. She wants to recoil in disgust but she maintains her composure and tries to respond politely.
"Um, no thank you. I'm good."
Ataru stands there, waiting for a slap or, more recently, a mallet to the head or being punched across the room. He continues to stand there but nothing happens. All the other Japanese and aliens watch Jazz confused, wondering why she isn't doing that themselves.
"Are t you going to punch me or something?" Ataru asks.
"A part of me wants to, but it's not necessary."
"It's ok to do it to him, it's Moroboshi." Sukara tells Jazz.
"You're an adult and he's a minor!" Jazz shouts at her.
"…..Hmmm." Ataru says, walking away from Jazz confused.
"So Sukara, what were you saying before?" Inaba asks.
"Oh right, there's only one person who can stop this and you have no other choice than to contact Rupa!" She tells Carla.
"I don't want to see him!" Carla cries. "After saying something like that, why would I ever ask him for anything?"
"What did he say?" Danny asks.
"That he hates absolutely everything about me." Carla says, crying.
"We'll, maybe if you didn't shoot a bazooka at him so much…"
Jazz elbows him in the arm and Danny stops talking.
"Maybe he was just mad." Jazz tells her.
"Maybe we don't need him though." Danny suggests. "I mean, these mushrooms only grow from heat right, we've got a snow queen right here." He says pointing to Oyuki. "Plus, who knows, maybe a certain ghost-boy who has ice powers and freed the entire city from a plant-based ghost happened to follow us here."
Inaba whistles innocently. Ryuunosuke and Sinobu notice. Sukara also focuses her eyes on Danny, having sensed a strong spiritual aura from him since he'd entered the ship.
"Ah, yes. I do know of Danny Phantom's defeat of Undergrowth." Inaba says. "It was, uh, on the news. But I don't think it will work the same way with these mushrooms."
"I've tried freezing them." Oyuki says. "But you have to understand, they are from a dimension of darkness. No light means little to no heat. That is their natural environment. Covering them with snow won't kill them, it will just slow them down."
"As will freezing their roots." Inaba adds.
"I've frozen some solid and that didn't kill it. It just stopped growing, then it resumed when it thawed." Oyuki says.
"The dark world wasn't cold." Mendo states.
"Underground lava vents and heating lamps for the out-of-town guests." Carla states.
"Look, the world is in danger, can you please just suck it up?" Danny asks.
Carla growls.
"Fine. I'll call Rupa." Carls says before typing in his number on the communication screen.

Meanwhile, in the World of Darkness
Lum is in Rupa's room drinking tea along with her baby cousin Ten. She notices that he has images and stuffed plushies all resembling Carla everywhere.
"Now this is relaxing. I know, I know my room is a bit on the modest side. I've got some tea cakes around here. Ah, here we go."
"Your room seems covered in Carla." Lum says, picking up a Carla doll and looking at a giant picture of Carla's face."
"Not really." Says Rupa, wearing a jacket with Carla's face inside a giant heart on the back. "It's selfish of me, I know. Bit I've grown fond of some of this stuff."
"Seems a bit peculiar to me." Says Ten.
Rupa couldn't deny it to himself. He had always loved Carla, even when they were children. But when his great-grandfather told him he was to marry Lum, he felt he had to obey. Even so he told Carla, he hoped she might understand and they could stay in each other's lives as friends at least. Instead she cried, clawed his face, beat him with a baseball bat and shot him with a bazooka. All in that order. They were five, at the time.
Lum sighs.
"I envy her. Darling never kept anything that was important to me." She says sadly.
Rupa frowns. She was rejected by her man and he ruined things with Carla. Perhaps this was for the best. Now they don't have anyone else.
"Well you have me now." Says Rupa. "Carla's cut off. She's outta my life."
The door opens, inside steps in one of Rupa's diminutive servants.
"Lord Rupa, Lady Carla's on the phone."
Rupa's mind goes blank. Carla…wants to talk to him still?
"Eh?"
"Is everything alright?"
Rupa becomes fidgety.
"Well…um…it's like…y'see…"
"I'm afraid I don't sir
"Well, that didn't take long." Lum muses.

Back on earth
The screen turns on and the entire UFO can see Rupa's face.
"Carla." Rupa says coolly."
"Rupa." Carla replies.
"A real alien." Danny whispers to Jazz in amazement.
"Danny, you've met four aliens in the last thirty minutes." She reminds him.
"But now we're in an alien ship, talking to an alien prince who is in space now."
If the world wasn't at stake, Danny would be trembling in excitement.
"If you called expecting an apology-"
"No, actually. It's about earth." Carla says. "See, I brought some food from home with us…"
Carla explained to Rupa the situation. That the mushrooms had nearly covered all of Japan by this time and now the spores were spreading to the nearest countries on the winds. Ran notifies them that they have started spreading in China. Now it was only a matter of time.
"Earths being covered in mushrooms?"
"Yep."
You idiot! This is all your fault!" Rupa yells. Honestly, how could she forget that these mushrooms can't be exposed to light or heat. Everyone knows they have to be eaten raw back home, why would she think to cook them!?
"Nothing I can do about it now." Carla replies. "You're the only one I could think to ask, Rupa. But I don't want to have to see your dump face." She says, turning her head away. "But since this concerns everyone here…"
"So you say, but I think you're just still trying to get me."
Carla makes a furious (and immature) face at Rupa. Pulling her mouth back with her fingers and sticking her tongue out.
"I think you already know what I think about you!" She swears.
Jazz and Danny watch her reactions dumbfounded.
"Are aliens supposed to be this…obnoxious?" Danny asks.
"I need to learn more about the culture to tell you." Says Jazz.
"Yeah well," Carla grabs Danny by mistake. "I've been havin' a ton of fun with this guy!"
Rupa snorts.
"With a fourteen year old?"
Carla looks and realizes that she grabbed Danny by mistake instead of Ataru. Danny smiles and waves at her nervously. Flustered, Carla shoves Danny away and grabs Ataru like she meant to.
"I mean this guy!"
"Yeah well….Lum and I have been having alot of fun too!" Rupa shouts, pulling Lum onto the screen.
"It seems they've gotten off topic." Mendo says and Sukara agrees.
"Hmm….Classic jealousy." Jazz notes.
Danny recognizes her from the photos. It's Lum Invader, the alien that Ataru competed against. She is just as attractive as her photos. But Danny is worried. If this girl had been willing to let her people invade earth before, it might not be so easy to convince her to help earth. Though he hopes that perhaps she's made enough connections on earth to give her some sentiment towards the planet. Lum and Ataru glare at each other from their sides of the screen. Lum speaks first.
"Long time no see. Havin fun?"
"You look like you're having fun too…Not!"
Jazz watches their interactions. Ataru seems pretty upset that she's not here with him right now despite their history (her essentially forcing him into a relationship and ruining his relationship with his girlfriend over a misunderstanding. Not to mention him flirting with her earlier.) and she wonders if there are more depths to be explored. Lum and Ataru make funny/angry faces at each other like children fighting.
"Hey! You two need to get over it!" Shouts Sukara. She pushes Ataru out of the way and talks to Lum. "Lum listen! This is a race against time! You have to persuade Rupa…"
"What about Darling!?" Lum asks
"What about him?" Danny asks, stepping back onto the screen. "If these mushrooms aren't taken care of, the world will get covered. People can get hurt."
"No sunlight, no crops. No crops, no food." Jazz adds. "Do you want the world to starve to death?"
Those words hit Lum. She is silent and thinks for a moment about all those people on earth she's come to know and love. She imagined her friends from class fighting each other for the smallest morsels of food. She imagines the trees and beautiful fields withering and dying. She imagines her darling crying, trying to stay warm, asking why Lum didn't help when she could have.
"I…"
Before Lum can respond, Jack and Maddie force themselves onto the screen, showing off their weapons.
"You kids are going about this the wrong way!" Maddie says. "You can't reason with these kinds of creatures with words. You need action!"
"Alright listen here you skimpy dressed alien scum. You better fix our planet or we'll be splattering your alien guts over the stars!" Shouts Jack.
Lum frowns at them and places her finger on the screen on her side. She sends a pulse of electricity into it. The pulse travels through the frequency waves and electrocutes Maddie and Jack on the other end. They fall to the ground, in pain but alive.
"You just electrocuted my parents!" Danny snaps at her.
"Oh, don't be a baby. They are fine." Lum says.
"FINE!? Doyou know how much damage electricity can do to the body!? Im a C student, but even I know that it can really mess with your nervous system."
"I shock darling all the time when he chases other girls. He's perfectly fine."
"WHAT!?" Danny shouts, infuriated by this alien girl's carelessness.
"No, it's fine man. I'm used to it." Ataru says nonchalant.
"Yeah, well, i'm sure you have the ANME-gene." He turns back to Lum. "But a lot of other people don't, you could have seriously hurt my parents!"
"We're fine Danny." Maddie says standing back up. "Our suits absorbed most of the damage."
"Still hurt though." Says Jack.
"You two should sit down." Jazz says leading them to the table.
"Look Lum, kids right. You can't let earth suffer just because of your relationship issues." Benten says.
Lum looks down.
"Well….alright. But under one condition. If Darling says he loves me, I will talk to Rupa."
"Did you get all that?" Sukara asks, glaring at Ataru.
"The fate of the earth hinges on just one word." Says Benten.
"Just say it Moroboshi!" Ryuunosuke shouts.
Ataru's face pales. His mind was racing. How dare she ask him to do such a ridiculous request? Danny walks up to Ataru and speaks.
"Hey, listen. If it helps, Benten told me on the way here that the Lum that said she wanted to marry Rupa wasn't actually Lum. It was like a mushroom-clone of her made by Rupa to trick you."
Ataru's eyes widened. He turns to Lum then to Benten and Oyuki.
"Is that true?"
"Yes." Benten, Oyuki, Lum and Rupa say one after the other.
"You idiot! Why didn't you tell me that before!?" Ataru shouts at Lum.
"Like it matters!? You made it clear you were going to marry Carla."
"I thought you were betraying me! You know I do stupid things when Im mad!" Ataru shouts.
"You do stupid things when you aren't mad too." Lum retorts.
Jazz continues taking mental notes on their relationship, while Danny thinks that even Johnny 13 and Kitty's relationship is more stable than this.
"You…" Ataru stops himself. "Ok, look Lum. I'm sorry. Alright? I came all the way to the dark world to rescue you, then when I thought you were willingly marrying Rupa I got mad. Carla was mad that Rupa was marrying you, so it seemed right at the time."
"Just to clarify, I was only using him to get close to the wedding." Carla says entering the screen with her bazooka.
"So you aren't having fun with him then?"
"Shut it Rupa!"
"Listen Lum. This was a big misunderstanding on my part ok? Why don't you just talk to Rupa, come back to earth and we can forget this whole thing ever happened?" Ataru asks.
"…I want you to say you love me." Lum says sadly. "We've been together for years. I want you to say it, just once. It doesn't even have to be true. Just…say the words."
Ataru remains silent. Danny leans into him and whispers: "Alright listen, no ones going to blame you for not loving a crazy alien girl that electrocutes you daily. But the world is at stake so just humor her. I…know someone…who can help you get her off your back later."
Ataru furiously shoves Danny away.
"You stay out of this!" He snaps.
"So Darling? Are you going to say it or not!?" Lum asks furious.
Ataru turns to her, his emotions from the last few days raging inside him like a typhoon. Plus the intense fury that stirred inside him when Danny made that suggestion to him. He still couldn't believe Lum was actually trying to coax him into saying those words to her, under these circumstances. She knows that he hates being forced to do things. He can feel so many people in the room glaring at him, trying to force him to succumb to their desires. He hates it, he hates this feeling, he hates Lum for making him feel this way.
"I hate you!" Ataru snaps.
Lum looks at him mad but sad and turns off the communication line. Mendo pulls out his sword, Sinobu lifts up a desk and Sukara pulls out a hammer seemingly from nowhere. While Jazz wants to ask how its possible for Ataru to catch a sword with his hands, rage at Mendo for being so callous as to swing a sword at someone, ask Sinobu how she's so strong and tell them that violence isn't the answer, instead she just turns to Ryuunosuke, Benten and Oyuki. After Ataru is beaten, she also turns to Sinobu.
"Hi, listen. Could you give me an exact detail about everything you know about Lum and Ataru's relationship. I think I'm onto something." She asks them.
"What's to know. He's an idiot and Lum is hopelessly in love with him against her better judgment." Benten says.
"Well, she isn't exactly perfect herself." Jazz mutters. "But seriously though, I think I can work out a solution. But I need more details."
As Jazz goes to talk with Sinobue, Benten, Oyuki and Ryuunosuke. Maddie confronts Sakura.
"Listen, that boy is far from a gentleman but you cannot assault him no matter how angry you are! There is no excuse for hurting a minor!"
"He's almost eighteen." Sukara says.
"Almost isn't enough. When he's eighteen, maybe. Honestly, how have his parents not sued you?"
"His mother says she wishes she never had him almost every day." Sukara explains.
"WHAT!?" Jack, Maddie and Jazz all shout in shock and horror.
"Ok, I'm going to also need an overview of Ataru's family life. Now!"
"Ok you know what? Different country, different rules." Maddie says. "I wanted to come to this flying saucer for one reason and one reason only!" Maddie and Jack pull out pens and pads. "Ryuunosuke says you study magic and summon demons. Can you please explain the science behind that?"

Downtown Tomobiki.
Sailor Mercury is using her frost powers on the mushrooms. She covers many with a thick layer of frost at once in an attempt to slow down their growth. Meanwhile, the rest of the Sailor Guardians and Tuxedo Mask scour through the debris of demolished buildings. Helping people out of the rubble, overgrown buildings and getting them to safety. The guardians break through the debris with their powers: lighting, fire, moonlight, but they are warned not to use them directly on the mushrooms buy their cats or else they will just absorb their light and heat. Sailor Moon tries it always by trying to break apart a mushroom that was blocking a house door and she ends up being lifted by another mushroom up into the air. She cries until Tuxedo Mask gets her down. They try to destroy any mushrooms as they start to grow, with their raw strength alone, with little success. The guardians need a bit of help keeping the teenage boys from latching into them inappropriately and Sailor Moon chases away the girls that flock around Tuxedo Mask.
"This is hopeless!" Sailor Mercury shouts. "Even when I destroy more, two more grow in its place!"
"The news reports say they have already spread out of Japan." Sailor Mercury says, checking the news on her phone. "Even if by some miracle we manage to cover all the mushrooms in Japan with ice they'll already be everywhere else."
"Yeah, and destroying them isn't working too well either." Says Sailor Jupiter. She lifts up a large chunk of debris and throws it at one of the frozen mushrooms. It breaks off a small piece but then the mushroom just grows it back.
"We have to get to the dark world." Says Luna. "It can be entered by entering the shadow of another planet. We can access it through magic but we still need a ship."
"We had plenty on the moon during the Silver Millennium. We should go back there after were done with the civilians." Says Artemis.
"Uh, guys." Sailor Jupiter says, noticing blue light beams flashing into the air on the other side of town. "What's that?"

As Sukara is showing Jack and Maddie how she is able to summon Yokai and other spirits. She explains that some are indeed ghosts and others are supernatural creatures, though both possess spirit energy which means their weapons can affect them. The adult Fentons have a field day learning so much from Sukara though Maddie continuously insists (to Sukara's ire) that she is not using magic, just some advanced super science.
Jazz talks on the phone with Ataru's parents and neighbors while also getting a timeline of Ataru and Lum's relationship from their friends.
Outside, Danny has used the excuse to get away from his parents and transform into Danny Phantom again. He spent the first fifteen minutes flying around town and using his intangibility powers to pull people who were trapped out of their houses. He liked that no one seems to be afraid that he was a ghost in this town. Afterwards, he uses his ice powers on the mushrooms. He builds up as much of his power as he can. He freezes mushroom after mushroom solid as well as covering them with a layer of frost. He phases unto he earth and freezes the mushrooms roots as well as flying into the mushrooms themselves to freeze them from the inside out. Then he moves onto the next one. He even replicates into four so he can cover more ground. After an hour of doing this non stop, Danny has practically every mushroom in half the city frozen solid. Hundreds of them. And as they are frozen, they stop growing and stop releasing spores. Danny, tired but still determined, pulls all his clones back into himself to regain some strength, he charges up a combination ball of his ice powers and his ectoplasmic blasts the size of a medicine ball and throws it at the mushroom. It freezes inside-out then explodes into pieces.
"YES!" Danny floats back to the ground, turning back into Danny Fenton. "I think…I got them…"
Danny's relief fades as he feels the ground beneath him shake again. A mushroom grows from under him and Danny narrowly jumps out of the way to avoid being hoisted up. Danny looks around and sees the pieces of mushroom that he destroyed quickly melting and growing into all new mushrooms themselves. Danny signs. He thought this would be like undergrowth. But it was like that rabbit-guy and Oyuki said. These mushrooms are used to cold and dark. As soon as the mushrooms thaw, they will just resume what they were doing before. All Danny is doing is slowing them down. And apparently, you can't break one apart without the pieces making whole new mushrooms. Plus, Danny already knew that they have already spread past Japan. His efforts aren't enough. Danny sighs.
"If these things were coming from some mushroom ghost I would have the problem fixed by now."
As Danny lays on the ground, he looks up and sees Ataru, standing on a balcony. It looks like he is holding something in his hands, contemplating.
"Idiot. Why couldn't I just say it?" Ataru says to himself, looking at the fields of Frozen mushrooms. He had seen the ghost-boy lying around freezing them all, and many people had put viral videos of Danny doing his work on them. He has already been identified as the American Superhero Danny Phantom. "I gotta say ghost-boy, you've done a good job. But it's not enough. Ran-Chan says that in ten days the world will be covered. You're barely doing anything here."
"I know." Danny groans. Listening from below.
Danny wasn't used to feeling so useless. Sure, he's been overpowered by ghosts before but he always either worlds out a way to beat them or develops a new power that comes in handy against them. But there are no ghosts this time and the mushrooms are spreading faster than he can tackle them. He's just out of his area of familiarity. If only there was something or someone he could just punch to fix everything at once.
Then, Danny, Ataru, the Sailor Guardians and everyone else in Tomobiki notice a swarm of flying pigs in the sky.

"What is that?" Asks Sailor Moon.
"I never thought I would say this, but flying pigs." Sailor Mercury says.
"Aw man. I told my dad I would only forgive him when pigs fly." Sailor Mars laments.
Meanwhile the cats are overjoyed.
"Were saved!"
"It's the mushroom's main predator!"
Everyone is astonished as they see the swarm completely devour an unfrozen mushroom. Danny feels relieved, maybe Lum convinced Rupa to help after all. Then the image of Lum and Rupa together appears in the sky.
"What is that?" Tuxedo Mask asks.
"The current prince of the Dark World. And the princess of Oniboshi." Luna says.
The image of Rupa speaks to the town.
"I have an announcement for Ataru Moroboshi!"
"Ataru Moroboshi?" Sailor Mercury asks. "Isn't that the guy who's supposed to be married to that alien girl?"
"That should be her there." Artemis says pointing at the image of Lum.
"As you can see. The only way to rid your world of these mushrooms is with these pigs." Rupa continues.
The image of Lum speaks.
"If you want this pig's darling, you will have to face me in a contest."

"Is she serious!?" Danny asks himself.
—-
On the other side of the city.
"Contest? What kind of contest?" Sailor Venus asks.
"The One's favorite way of resolving things." Says Luna.
"Darling?" Jupiter asks curiously.
—-
The image of Lum continues. Now even everyone who was inside Rans's flying saucer has come out to see the announcement.
"A game of tag. If you grab my horns within the next ten days, you win. I'm serious, you won't be able to escape this. If you wanna catch me…" Lum's furious face takes up the entire sky. "You gotta say you love me!"
"IS SHE SERIOUS!?" Danny asks, infuriated. "She's really going to risk the world over the word of that moron!? Of all the….I can honestly see Vlad doing something like this to get my mom. Of all the obnoxious…At least don't tell me Ataru is this stubborn now."
"Who'd say something like that!? Moron!" Ataru shouts.
As Ataru is bombarded by the nearby civilians, and members of the neighborhood association, Danny vents his anger to himself.
"And this guy! Of all the stupid, stubborn….Ok fine. I guess I'll have to deal with this the Phantom way." Danny says, eyes glowing green.

"Say he loves her?" Jupiter asks.
"Well, they are supposed to be married, but apparently Ataru has a weakness for other women." Artemis says.
Jupiter does not look pleased.
"Oh, really? Shall we go talk to this Ataru Moroboshi?" Sailor Jupiter says leading the way. All the other Sailor Guardians and Tuxedo Mask follow her.

In Sub-Space
"Danny Phantom is one of the strongest beings on the planet." The head rabbit says.
"And the Sailor Guardians are formidable as well." Says another rabbit.
"Not to worry, I am sure that the combined might of the Oni military will be enough to keep them at bay and make sure things go according to plan." Says a third rabbit optimistically.
"But what if this is not enough?" Says the lead rabbit. Then he gets an idea. "You know, Lum has met ghosts before." He says making his way to the door forge. "It wouldn't be unlikely to think that she would want to make sure there is no…spectral interference."
"It wouldn't be unlikely to think that she wouldn't be aware of the anti-ghost element ectoranium since its from space." Agrees the second rabbit as the lead rabbit makes a door knob.
"And if she travels from this solar system to her home world she should know about Nemesis." Says the third rabbit.
"Indeed boys, indeed." Says the third rabbit. He holds up the newly crafted door knob and makes his way to the row of doors they have created. "A door of fate for a mere thirty seconds into the future. Where Lum gets a few nice ideas." He says, before he puts the door knob in place and sets the future in stone.

In Outer Space
The Oni military led by Lum and her father, as well as the armies of the World of Darkness led by Rupa, make their way to earth. They have no plans to attack, just make sure that no one else interferes in the competition.
"So remember." Lum tells Rupa. "After ten days, just release the pigs anyways, even if Darling doesn't grab my horns or tell me he loves me. I don't want the earth to die."
"But if he doesn't do either by that time, what will you do?" Rupa asks her.
Lum shrugs "I guess I will have too…" Lum stops, suddenly getting an idea. "…Hmm. I just thought of something. You know the last planet in the sol star system?" Lum asks her father.
"Nemesis? That planet with the weird energy signatures? What about it?" Her father asks.
"Lets tap into some of its energy, for some reason I think it will be useful. Lots happened on earth since we tried to invade. There are superheroes named after planets and I've even heard there's a ghost-boy in America."
Her father shrugs.
"Alright, we can also stock up on ectoranium while we're at it."
Lum smiles mischievously. No one is going to interfere in her game with darling, dead or alive.
Notes: Sailor Moon timeline takes place in Sailor Moon R between episodes 80 and 81. Chibiusa is with Usagi's parents at this time.

TomyxLoud93: I'm sorry but there are a few things I want to explain.
0) it's a merged universe with Urusei Yatsura, it's supposed to be chaotic and random, so thanks for that comment.
1) Danny isnt portrayed as weak, he's not the one getting his ass whooped every chapter, that's Jack and Maddie. The point of this is to show how wrong their "trigger-happiness" is and how it can get them into trouble. They are the ones who are engaging with the ghosts and biting off more than they can chew. And Danny didn't engage the ghost cat except to suck him up in the thermos when he tried to attack his parents, which in my story, the cat is strong enough to break out. Danny is yet to go ghost or actually fight any of these people so far, that will be soon though. While he was briefly countered by Ryuunosuke it was a simple dodge and sneak attack (and Danny was in human form) that Danny quickly learned and countered when against her father to send him flying into a wall (not weak). And Danny was only hurt by a charm that's specifically designed to repel spirits so it's like a specter deflector. Also, the official wiki doesn t say he's had any formal training but Danny is still an experienced combatant and that will be seen later.
2) I wasn't trying to make Danny OC, I was just focusing on his snarkiness. Remember, Danny is being dragged by his parents, who he finds embarrassing because they jump and attack anything they think is a ghost, to another country without his friends. Danny didn't know Ryuunosuke was a girl at first and he jumped to defend her from her dad. But feel free to give me pointers.
Also: Dark Danny was actually a merged future version of Danny's and Vlads ghost halves. Just saying.
And just a little bit of info regarding Kotatsu-neko's strength. In the movie Always My Darling, a gigantic ball of ice fell from the sky, trashed a tank upon its landing, rolled down a street and destroyed several buildings, and Kotatsu-neko pushed against it with his paws and sent it flying. Actually, a lot of Urusei Yatsura characters have superhuman strength like that. While I'm sure Kotatsu-neko would lose against some of Danny's ghostly wail and some of his enemies due to their wide variety of powers (he would definitely lose to Vortex) I think that he is very strong physically-wise.
