Chapter: Settling In

(Pov: Raditz)

"Hyah" "HA!" Both me and Vegeta yelled as we power up and prepared to laser each other with Ki Beams. It's how we end our spars. Training with Vegeta is painful, as I already suspected.

It has been more than 2 weeks since I replaced Raditz. And I've been living my favorite life. Eating, Fighting and Sleeping. We don't have a mission yet. Since we had to wait for the upper ranks to come and evaluate this world.

So while we're we are waiting, It falls on me to entertain the Royal Asshole himself. Every since I clipped him with a stray Ki Blast, Vegeta has been Beating my ass non-stop.

In hindsight, I should really see this coming. That Vegeta would be such an competitive asshole and would use his full power every spar from then on. And Of course make me eat either his Big Bang Attack or his Galick Gun at the end of every round.

"EAT THIS! GALICK GUN!!!" Vegeta yelled as a Purple Colored Beam shot out from his position.

And I wasn't idle either. Early on into Dragonball Kai, people with learn that Ki Attacks that condense ki make the attack stronger. In Fact, it can be condensed enough to more than Double your own battle power.

Goku at the power level of 416, managed to make a kamehameha at the level of over 930. While Piccolo, the mad genius managed to make a move that literally more than Triple his battle power.

So with that in mind, I condensed my Ki as much as I could and make an improprtu Oodama Rasengan in my palm. And Yelled out the name of my newest attack.

In the memory of my Father, I dub thee. "SPIRAL CANNON!"

His Purple Beam and My Spiral themed Blue colored one clash and for a moment, I allowed myself to hope... before that hope was crushed ruthlessly by Vegeta adding more power into his beam and started baring down on my drilling beam. Which look less of a drill and more of a squished watermelon as Vegeta's Beam gained more and more ground against my own.

Before it engulfed me in full. I condensed the Ki inside me in an attempt to damage my self more with my impromptu Kaio-ken. Yeah that's right, I figured out your shit King Kai. It's just basically condensing your ki and letting it flow around your body.

I haven't got to the stage where I could freely flow it around my body and use it in a fight. But I could do it while standing still and destroy myself with the constant strain while eating a Galick Gun with my face.

'Haaah~ life is good.' I sighed happily before pain exploded in my face and I knew no more.

With Vegeta

Vegeta Panted in before regaining his composture and looked down on his opponent. In the last two week he was pushed by a low class likehe has never been in his life. And while in the Future where he was an irredeemable ass he would have been offended. Actually he would have even killed Raditz himself.

But this one was someone who was looking for a worthy adversary in his addmittingly short and lonely life. People either do not put up a fight just don't want to fight after seeing his power level.

So when Raditz doesn't shy away from his power and even mananging to push him in some occasions, Vegeta found himself letting loose. Sure it ended up with Raditz always needing the Healing Tank but the fact that he(Raditz) was also eager for more make him different in his eyes.

And with the amount of Zenkais he got, Raditz was rapidly approaching him in strength and also making Vegeta himself grow. His Power Level has grown to 14,300. A twenty three hundred increase in Power Level within days.

Raditz himself was now sitting at 6,120 and after this he will be even stronger. Is this what his Father meant by 'the Joys of having a Worthy Rival?' To push them both to better themselves? No... Raditz wasn't his Rival, Not yet. But soon he will be.

... As soon as Nappa get off his lazy ass and take Raditz to the Healing Tank. Ugh the moron.

"NAPPA! GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE AND TAKE RADITZ TO THE HEALING POD." Vegeta yelled echoed throughout the clearing in an impressive show of lung strength.

"Hai Hai, Vegeta-sama." Nappa called out as he dragged Raditz literally Charred and Bloody body back to the Ship.

'Youngsters these days have so much energy 'he mused. Maybe it was him whose getting old but really both Vegeta and Raditz are little monsters.

Vegeta, having the highest power level a Saiyan has ever achieved in recent history. While Raditz grow faster than any Saiyan before him. He went from a Power Level of below 800 to now nearing Nappa's own Full Power Lightning Mode.

And he didn't doubt that after this Zenkai, Raditz will be nearing the 10,000 mark. If he didn't surpassed it completely, that is. Maybe it's time he also take part on their little sparings?... Nahhh One look at Raditz condition is all he need fot an answer.

He didn't know if Raditz was a Masochist but there was no way in hell he would want to look like a Casualty of War after a spar. No siree, leave the crazy to the new Generation. The old ones have to relax.

They had more than a Fair share of their battles and it's not sin to take a break once in a while. Even for a Saiyan. Besides their new mission is only a few days away now. He got a message from their superiors while Vegeta and Raditz are busy, rearranging the Landscape.

Their next world has an average power level of 2,000. It's gonna be a hell of a fight. They are gonna need the Oozaru more than ever in that one. Vegeta and Maybe Raditz might be fine and he might also as well if he use all his power but better be safe than sorry.

...Maybe he is in need of that training session. Just a tad bit.

Those were Nappa's last thoughts as he put Raditz inside the tank and left him in there for a few hours.

Pov Change (Raditz)

Despite waking up nearly every day in the Healing Tank after a beatdown, Raditz still haven't gotton use to the feeling of the cool liquid that evaporates as soon as he step into the oxygen filled atmosphere.

Shaking off that weird feeling, he step towards the bench where his Saiyan Armor folded neatly and his scouter was laying on top of it. Say what you want about Nappa but he's a bonified housewife.

The man is considerate in ways that he wouldn't even notice if he wasn't hyperaware of the people around him. Though to be fair, Nappa see them as the future of the Saiyan Race. And tried to cater to their needs.

Anyways, as he put on the armor and the scouter, he absentmindedly tap the buttons on the scouter.

The results were shown in a moment and this was his biggest zenkai increase yet. A whole 3,000 increase in power level. He figure out a way to the Kaio-ken just this morning and as he suspected, using it to destroy your body while being cooked by an energy beam works wonders for your power level.

Oh? What's this? Another purge mission? Great! He had been meaning to try out the Oozaru form for a while now and try to obtain the Ikari mode that Broly achieve in DBS. Oh man he couldn't wait.
