Team Bonding:

After a week of getting into the routine of classes Team CSAL had managed to live in the dorm together with nary an argument, no big issues but a bunch of tiny ones weren't exactly great. They hadn't had any fights or anything but there were small conflicts like Luca being loud and joking while Sylvia and Celica were studying, Arthur not taking much warming to Celica and Sylvia had realized that Luca's sense of humour could be really out there as she often looked at Celica smiling along but not laughing like they were.

She was team leader after all and her team wasn't acting like one, she was glad Celica had told her about her social anxiety which really helped to try to get a plan in place. It was their first day off after the week of classes so Sylvia wanted everyone to go out, have fun and most importantly bond, she had noticed Celica distance herself when the group was together and hide out in the library when she studied which was increasing.

Arthur was always standing the furthest away from Celica and only initiated a conversation with her if it was a must, treating communication as a chore to a teammate would get them killed, they both needed to work out how to open up to each other Sylvia thought as she was pretending to read a book looking around the room, Arthur was doing push-ups with Luca sat next to him trying to tell him crude jokes to make him laugh and fall whilst Celica was sitting on her bed above Sylvia trying to tune out the room and focus on her scroll.

She shut her book and was about to get her team's attention when Celica jumped down from her bed grabbing her things. Sylvia piped up after tapping Celica's shoulder and asked where Celica was going curious and really wanting to do something with her whole team. Celica turned to Sylvia and casually mentioned that she was going for lunch with her parents and then going to join Team CVFY in the arena for some training.

Arthur had listened in as he was doing his push-ups, thinking why she couldn't train with her team and so he looked directly at Celica saying 'It must be great to have parents' in a tone that wasn't a question but an attacking remark. Celica looked away, not sure what to do, she had no idea if Arthur was trying to start a conversation, an attack on her or even try his hand at a joke, she knew practically nothing about him and had no idea to respond.

Luca had stopped making jokes unsure of what was about to happen as Sylvia glared at him angrily, she turned to comfort Celica but she was already on her way and out the door. Sylvia ran after Celica and caught up to her, she stood in Celica's way apologizing for Arthur and telling her that his parents were killed by humans just for being Faunus. Celica looked back at the dorm, she quickly told Sylvia she had no idea and wasn't trying to offend anyone and wanted to go back and apologize.

Sylvia grabbed her arm stopping her informing Celica that Arthur was in the wrong, Celica seemed to relax a little and then realized that Arthur tried attacking her unprovoked. Sylvia promised that she would talk to Arthur about what he said and to go enjoy lunch with her parents but asked if the rest of the team could join her and Team CVFY for training, Celica was a little unsure but she didn't want to make enemies of her team and nodded messaging Velvet if the rest of the team could join.

She got a reply a few seconds later with a thumbs up, the pair smiled as Sylvia bid farewell to Celica and told her to have fun with her parents as she went back into the dorm to now go settle Arthur. Sylvia burst in and slammed the door pointing to Arthur 'What the hell was that?' she asked him directly to his face, Luca and Arthur stared back at her in shock for when Sylvia used the word 'hell' they knew she was truly mad.

Arthur tried to defend himself but Sylvia didn't let him get a word in reminding him that they were a team now, telling him Celica had no idea about his parents and wasn't trying to attack him. He snapped back saying Celica was the one not trying to be a teammate as she was going to train with another team instead of them. Sylvia retaliated and yelled 'Did you even ask?'

Silence filled the room, Sylvia had gotten Arthur speechless and knowing he was in the wrong, he sighed accepting his bad behaviour and told Sylvia he'd apologize when she got back. Sylvia shook her head and said they'll be heading out and joining Celica and Team CVFY when they train, it'll be a good chance for them to bond, train and Arthur could apologize then.

Shortly after an hour had gone by as Celica arrived in the arena finding Team CVFY she informed the rest of Team CSAL that they were starting to train. Sylvia messaged back telling them they'd be there in 10 minutes, Celica thanked Team CFVY once again as she told them her team would be arriving in 10 minutes. They all decided to start as Celica joined the sparring.

Celica had to really give it her all to keep up with Team CVFY, she could tell they were in another league compared to her, they kept her on her toes and they weren't even using weapons as they each picked an opponent and switched between themselves while one member rested before they switched again. Celica loved the rest break, she also noticed Team CVFY gave her longer rest breaks which she much needed but while she rested she still watched them and studied their combat styles.

20 minutes had passed and finally the rest of Team CSAL arrived just as everyone was having a quick break drinking water or sitting down. Celica was red in the face but was still standing as she was talking to Velvet about their usual training routine and asking for any tips. That is until Sylvia, Arthur and Luca came over and with the two teams, they agreed on a four vs four match-up.

They began to spar still with no weapons, Sylvia took on Coco, Luca took on Yatsuhashi, Arthur took on Fox and Celica took on Velvet. Team CVFY worked together and drew each member of Team CSAL into vulnerable spots for them to assist each other with their opponents. After the round they called a break, Team CSAL knew they had lost that and it annoyed Arthur as the two teams sat down talking about their fight which made Arthur angry as Team CVFY were informing them of their weak points.

Arthur wasn't the best at taking criticism especially from a human, even though it was constructive he really wanted to prove to Team CFVY so he could fight so after the break when Coco suggested they do one on one battles he stood up saying he'd go first and challenged Celica. Sylvia was stunned he had volunteered first but figured it may be his way of trying to bond and get to know the fighter they would be fighting alongside with.

Celica nodded a little nervous, got up and not wanting to upset Arthur as she was quite tired picked up her weapons and headed to one side of the arena. Yatsuhashi volunteered to mediate for them as everyone looked on, Yatsuhashi started the match between the two when they both said they were ready. As soon as the match started Arthur charged forward not giving Celica a second as he started with an aggressive method putting Celica into a more defensive fighting style.

She used both her gauntlet blades to block or parry Arthur's strikes, the strikes were aggressive and relentless, he sure wasn't fighting like that battling the horde of Grimm on the second day Celica had thought to herself. He glanced over to where everyone was sitting as everyone cheered them on but what really made his anger grow more was Sylvia yelling out for Celica to do her best and now he was furious.

Wanting to impress he somehow managed to speed up his aggressive strikes more, Celica was worn out, she had exhausted herself and finally Arthur landed a hit with the hilt of his chainsaw blade buckling Celica's aura as red waves appeared over her as she stumbled back and fell to her knee panting expecting the match to stop. Arthur was too angry to stop, taking no notice of Yatsuhashi calling the match and a small cheer for his win as he charged.

Running forward to a defenceless Celica out of aura he rose his blade and swung for Celica's neck, at the last second with her reflexes Celica had put up her arm as the chainsaw blade hit the gauntlet Celica was wearing but she was off balance as the power of the strike smashed her gauntlet into her head as she was knocked to the left and landed a couple of metres away from Arthur and out cold.

Arthur was smiling, proud to have won as he looked over seeing the shock on everyone's faces as they all called out Celica's name and rushed over to her instead of him. He would think Luca would come over and congratulate him but he to ran over to Celica to check on her. Not exactly sure why until he saw Yatsuhashi pick up Celica unconscious with a big bruise forming on her face. Velvet, Sylvia and Yatsuhashi quickly ran out of the arena carrying Celica taking her to the nurse with Velvet giving him a dirty look.

Coco wheeled around and furiously walked over to Arthur letting him have it as she yelled at him for being careless, acknowledging accidents can happen but they both knew it was a purposeful hit as Yatsuhashi did call the match, yelling at him to think and have self-control and how he now hurt his teammate. Arthur looked over to Luca and saw even he wasn't going to help him as Luca looked worried about him and Celica.

Fox and Coco left shortly after yelling at him as they rushed to the nurse's office to check on how Celica was doing, Luca walked up to Arthur telling him it was a good fight but calmly stated he took it too far. Arthur nodded and asked Luca if they should head to the nurse's office or give them space, Luca was quick to answer that as they began walking back to the dorm messaging Sylvia and letting her know.

Sylvia picked up her scroll waiting with Team CVFY as Celica was checked by the nurse reading the message that Luca and Arthur will be in their dorm. She thought to herself 'So much for team bonding.' She looked at the closed door, Professor Goodwitch had arrived as Team CFVY reported the incident and she was looking for answers about how this incident happened.

Present day:

It had been an entire year after the Fall of Beacon, a lone Huntress sat on the docks looking out across the water, the same place she had lost everything exact to the day even though at the time it didn't feel like it.

Leaning against the pillar on the edge of the pier with her right leg hanging off the edge, she hugged herself thinking back to her time at Beacon and what had happened since then. Her scroll buzzed, she looked at the message and just saw a picture of herself sitting on the dock, looking to her left she found Velvet approaching her with a smile on her face.

'Hey stranger' the Huntress said to Velvet, Velvet waved and greeted her friend she hadn't seen in a long time with a hug. The two pulled apart as Velvet asked what she could help with...
