How will Queen Guinevere react and deal with the strange flu that seems to have a strong grip on Camelot's knights? First Leon, then Percival, and now Gwaine? How will Eira be able to help? Merlin and Gaius have an idea. Set after the ending of my previous story 'The Bargain', but you don't need to have read it to understand this one.

Talk of destiny is tiring, and Arthur thinks it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to never hear that word ever again. He also knows he isn't quite that lucky, but God, he can always hope. Or at least, maybe, somehow talk Merlin into one night without the word being present.

It's been 9 Months since the Battle of Camlann and Arthur's death. Merlin went back to Camelot for Gwen. Now it is time for Arthur to rise again for Albion's greatest need.

All Merlin can think is that if he dies before he actually gets to propose because Arthur is a prat who has chosen this special night to take his time with his food, he is going to haunt Arthur until the day he dies.
