When Merlin accidentally kills his family's horse, he has to try to find a way to help support his family. Being born with magic can only lead to tragedy in a land where sorcerers are banned, but can Merlin fight his fate?

Last part of my short story and sequel to 'Frozen Moment' and 'His Betrayal', 'The Light' is where Merlin confronts his fear of his magic being discovered and is surprised by the answers he finds from a mysterious character.
